<Seraphna> Alita> Well, we know we do it on Geyze. That's how we knew to come here.

<Xanatos> <Simon> If we do it elsewhere then we may never find it, that could change our future.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Of course... in light of rcent events, I do have a hypothesis as to what will end up happening. We go in to use the portal, the Corrupt Spirits find us at the last moment, and BIX sacrifices himself to buy the rest of us soem time."

<Xanatos> 6* Bix has mostly been staying away from the group moving out in the city and helping the Croza where he can.

<Xanatos> <Simon> My understanding is that we would be leaving the head and taking the body, reattachign it once we get to the present.

<Seraphna> Alita> Mmm, if everything can be a spirit... that really does have some interesting implications.

<ChadWinters`> <Id> It would make one ask just how much a spirits specialty can be controlled
<DeathStar> <Celes> I am not even sure what that is or if that is on this planet

<Seraphna> **Alita follows** I believe most of those Earth chemicals can be made with things on Geyze.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Oh, I could totally make it if I had a lab that was properly equipped. Unfortunately, my current lab I've had to reinvent the wheel, and it roughly on par with that of an alchemist in the Dark Ages."

<DeathStar> *As they arrive at the planet, they arrive at a planet with tall trees, and the city in the distance looks advance but it seems to have high ledges and lots of places to climb.*
<DeathStar> *The Croza moves ahead toward the city*

<Seraphna> Talia> Mew?
<ChadWinters`> <Id> And the spirits?
<Xanatos> 6* Bix falls into step beside the Croza while Simon falls back some and keeps to the rear of the group.
<Alicia> * Ceilidh keeps at least some distance between her and Bix... just in case.
<ChadWinters`> 6Id takes a reading of Spirit energy level as they head towards the city
<DeathStar> *As they arrive near the city, they see the sight of catgirls, tigermen, etc, but oddly full animal people in "clothes". Walking about. They turn and eye the humans, a gleam in their eyes*
<DeathStar> *but because of their guide they do not act on it*
<Sara> * Liana stares

<DeathStar> <Croza> I am hoping one of their summoni might call out their spirits.

<DeathStar> *one of the humanoid locals, a cat girl, moves to Talia* Hello! Are these your ... "Friends"?

<DeathStar> *Celes whispers to Liana* We will hear about this for weeks.

<DeathStar> *they soon arrive in a pyramid like shaped building with cats on it and are led inside; the catgirl introduces Talia to their summoni, a powerful looking wolf girl sitting there in a chair, leaning forward*

<DeathStar> *Celes whispers to Liana* Think they are as strong as the ones we've face so far?

<Alicia> * Ceilidh says nothing. Who can understand the inner workings of Talia's mind?

<DeathStar> *The Wolf Girl pulls out a staff and rattles it; the staff seems to have a dark ruby on it and other strange spirit gems as she shakes it and chants, the Croza spirit scanning it and studying it*

<DeathStar> *a moment or two later, the group feels spirits behind them*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I have a picked up an increase in Spiritual energy. 6Id turns towards the spirits
<DeathStar> *the spirit gems seem to be made up of pure spirit energy in gem form, much like the gems in the cave where the time machine is/will be*
<DeathStar> *there is a cat spirit and a wolf spirit*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> ... what?
<Seraphna> **Talia turns and looks, she gasps and paws at the Cat Spirit** Hello!
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...these spirit manifestations seem so random..."
<DeathStar> *The cat yawns and stretches*

<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm not really surprised at that. Given the strange spirits we've encountered up to now, this is normal."

<ChadWinters`> 6Id floats over, projecting a small read out of the gem's he's looking for and the ones the Wolf Girl has on her. 1"They are very similar.

<DeathStar> *Lana's hand burns with spirit energy from the scratch, almost comedically*
<Xanatos> <Simon> The readouts that ID is displaying are types of spirit gems similar to the one you haev there, would you have any idea where we could find them?

<Sara> <Liana> Water! Water! Lana's hand is on fire!
<DeathStar> <Wolf Girl> These are the sacred gems that help us call forth the spirits. <Croza> Gems are used to bring out spirit energy present. Very useful. Used many ways.
<DeathStar> *The wolf forms a large ball and drenches Lana completely with spirit water*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Would we be able to acquire some, somehow?"

<DeathStar> *The two spirit animals do something and the group appears near a dead looking volcano. Where the fox spirit joins them*

<ChadWinters`> <Id> I'm picking up a lot of residual heat still coming from the volcano

<DeathStar> *The three spirit animals move into a tunnel leading deeper into the volcano*

<Xanatos> 6* BIX looks stoked and runs after them

<DeathStar> *the Croza quietly follows*

<Xanatos> 6* Simon look uncomfortable and begins to write a rune shape out into spaces before an aura of frost layers onto him and he follows.

<DeathStar> *Celes leans against Liana as they take the tunnel; the air here is a bit heavier, but there is at least enough space to walk. They pass one or two larger animal types digging for materials who eye them and there seem to be minerals in the walls*
<Seraphna> **Alita walks along, down to almost nothing while having put her robes in her pack**
<DeathStar> *Celes grabs a medium useful item from the wall after rolling - some minerals that can be used to build stuff*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Oxygen levels seem to be in the safe level.
<DeathStar> <Celes> I was hoping for a diamond
<DeathStar> *she pockets it*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon begins to look around for what they may need.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix seems to be trying to find laba.

<DeathStar> *the stuff in the walls could be anything - it looks like there could be riches or junk, one must whack the wall and find out*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh pays more attention to the status of the volcano than the walls, but does look over the wall minerals too
<ChadWinters`> 6Id switches to scan for matching spiritual gems
<DeathStar> *they soon behin to descend and the air gets hotter*
<DeathStar> *Ceilidh whacks out some basic building materials too like Celes*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *bretahing getting heavy as the descend*
<DeathStar> *Lana and Simon will enjoy that*
<DeathStar> *Celes breathes harder and takes breaks, kneeling, while Gwen keeps going pretty easily; the spirits peer back*

<DeathStar> *with strange creatures moving about the area*
<Seraphna> **Talia pants heavily, while Alita goes naked**

<DeathStar> *she kneels back out in the tunnels*
<ChadWinters`> 6Id forms a thinner spirit shield around itself to help protect against the heat.
<Xanatos> 6* BIX's body glows red and he leans down to get close, keeping note of his internal temperature sensors.
<DeathStar> *Gwen eyes the creatures and the fox spirit points past the creatures at some gems in the wall at the far end of the lava*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...lava means convection... means air hot enough to fry the skin off of you..."
<DeathStar> <Croza> Being unlucky
<Xanatos> 6* Simon attempts to get a sense of any spirit energy down here in the minerls of the wall.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon is using a tracing spell, I should specify.
<DeathStar> *there is indeed quite a bit. Gwen stomps his foot, making his body like steel*
<Xanatos> <BIX> Lava. Beautiful.
<Seraphna> **Alita concentrates and wraps some mana about herself to reduce the heat and convection, Talia uses Gwen as a shield**
<DeathStar> *Gwen then bites his finger*
<ChadWinters`> 6Id floats above the lava, getting a better lay of the area and how to go to the minerals in the wall
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Bix, ready to get those gems?
<Xanatos> <Simon> BIX, can you retrieve those gems across the lava?
<Jackieness> <Lana> *just crumples next to Celes*
<Xanatos> <BIX> Yes! 6* He kneels blasts forward, doing controller blasts to keep from touching the lava though it looks liek he's stepping on it.
<DeathStar> *the cat licks itself - it is an important duty*
<Seraphna> **Talia follows the Cat's example**
<Xanatos> 6* Simon works on gathering what is useful on the safer side of the laba.
<ChadWinters`> 6Id watches BIX blast by and it follows after.

<Alicia> * Ceilidh hangs back, having no good defences against that level of heat.
<DeathStar> *Gwen Floats along and avoids the Lava as he slides about, twirling like Dante after Bix*
<DeathStar> *Simon also gets middle of the road stuff like Celes and Ceilidh*

<DeathStar> *The creatures get aggroed and attack those near them - the team not going after the gems and approach, glowing*
<DeathStar> <Celes> ... yeah? *she eyes the creatures*
<DeathStar> *the Wolf and Fox tense up and form spirit energy*
<Sara> * Liana draws her sword
<ChadWinters`> <Id> It would appear the others are keeping us safe while we gather what we need.
<Seraphna> **Alita moves carefully, gathering mana and using her innate fire magic to proof herself**
<DeathStar> *Bix and Gwen land and grab the gems and Gwen begins to pry them out of the wall and pocket*
<Seraphna> **Talia helps Gwen while Alita assist BIX**
<ChadWinters`> 6Id scans them now that he's up close with the others and calls out which ones they need
<Jackieness> <Lana> *watches the creatures* "...ah... I know its like... not the best moment... but... earlier... you were eyeing me...?"
<Xanatos> 6* Bix thumbs up and begins to do what he can to get the gems safely.
<DeathStar> <Celes> Yes, I believe it's not the best .. moment. *she draws her blade* Maybe after this. *she strains to stand as the creatures attack*
<Sara> * Liana moves to Celes' side to help her
<DeathStar> *they try to smash their guide into the fire, and the fox and wolf spirit bite onto one of the four. The other move for Celes and Liana, and the other Lana and Id*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *takes a step back behind Celes and Liana*
<ChadWinters`> *Id is with the Gem group*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon tries to help the Croza from getting lava'd
<DeathStar> *the Croza floats onto Simon* Thank you am giving
<DeathStar> *Celes slashes at her's and Liana's and manages to remove the arm, but the creature just glows more*
<DeathStar> <Celes> What is it doing?
<Xanatos> 6* Simon forms his spear and just does his best to keep the creatures back, not having much energy here due to the heat.
<Sara> * Liana slashes at it
<DeathStar> *Liana slashes at it and drives it back, and it glows so much now it's blinding, blinking.*
<DeathStar> *it seems to be giving off spirit energy - explosively*
<DeathStar> *the fox and wolf drive their's into the lava, destroying it*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Everyone, get back!"
<Jackieness> <Lana> *raises her arms and then moves them in a circular manner, bringing up several etheral screens around ehrself, then scans the creature enar Celes and Liana*
<DeathStar> *it is overloading with spirit energy that is about to go boom*
<DeathStar> <Celes> If I just had my Hapian powers..
<DeathStar> *Celes slashes it again, trying to make it die*
<Sara> <Liana> Yeah... but we have to do what we can.
<DeathStar> *the Croza destroys his, leaving the blinking one and the one sneaking up on Lana*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Its a suicide bomber!"
<DeathStar> *Gwen and Bix, Alita and Talia finish* <Gwen> All done

<Seraphna> **Alita nods and turns to the others, she opens her wings and leaps back, moving for the others.**

<Xanatos> 6* Simon tries to form his ice wall to block the bomber.

<Xanatos> 6* Bix waits to leap back last since his transportation is explosive.

<DeathStar> *that's a good thing, Celes' swing would have been a 2 and not quite far enough*
<DeathStar> *Liana knocks it all the way and saves the day*
<DeathStar> *Celes turns around and takes out the one whacking itself against Lana and stabs it rapidly until Gwen and the others arrive*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> ... *throws it into the lava*

<DeathStar> <Gwen> Celes, quit using a sword until you get muscle
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...this always happens to me..."

<DeathStar> *Celes makes a face, sheathing her sword, mumbling about how she used to be respected*

<Alicia> * Ceilidh runs for the exit. "We should leave!"

<DeathStar> *the lava begins to bubble up - maybe all those explosions?
<DeathStar> *the two other animal spirits lead the way*

<DeathStar> *Gwen skate floats, grabbing Lana and hurrying*
<Seraphna> **Alita moves along fast, using the heat to speed her gliding**

<Xanatos> <Simon> I'm not certain they have a means of counterattack. These spirit boxes would help them do that. But I'm just not comfortable risking Neekito further.
<Seraphna> Alita> We know the Croza War ends with this corruption being sealed.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *sits up and snaps ehr fingers, pointing at Alita* "Right?!"
<Seraphna> Alita> But right now it looks like we're losing. I wonder if this situation is some sort of pattern that will be reflected in history... or if we can recall any such moments with what we know of the future.

<Xanatos> 6* Simon blinks and would leap back leaving an ice clone of himself.

<Xanatos> 6* Simon moves to get between Liana and the spirit, holding out his spear to shoot a cone of icey mist out towards it.
<Seraphna> Alita> Hmmm... or... **she muses and forms a field of water around them, and then closes it in on the spirit**

<DeathStar> *the helium spirit then reforms into a normal spirit*

<Xanatos> 6* Simon looks to the 'nuclear move' Neekito?
<ChadWinters`> 6Id tries to identify teh voice.
<DeathStar> *Neekito is leaning on Ellie, forming the nuclear attack and then launches it at the spirit,* Would that hurt a helium based spirit?
<DeathStar> <Croza> ... we wanted it alive...
<Xanatos> 6* Simon shifts to put an ice shield up between himself and the nuclear attack.
<Seraphna> **Alita forms a Spirit Shield around the group**
<DeathStar> *thankfully she made a mini one so that it's a tiny mushroom cloud that knocks those without shields back and rollls*
<DeathStar> *surprisingly, something moves about in the air*

<ChadWinters`> <ID> I believe it's escaped. But it should have taken damage.
<Sara> <Ellie> ...I don't really know how helium works *she admits*
<DeathStar> *the spirit, or what is left of it, moves away from the danger zone and away from the group*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Simon try to slow it down again so that our friend can try it's device
<Xanatos> <Simon> It's getting away. 6* He tries to summon an ice storm ahead of it.
<Seraphna> **Talia finally releases her fireball after it**
<DeathStar> *Neekito twitches, looking angry, ears down and fingers pushed into palms*
<DeathStar> *The cmobo attck makes the spirit collapse*

<DeathStar> *the Croza kneels and fires the gun, shrinking the spirit down*
