<DeathStar> *Their Croza guide has begun to take them out to the various planets the Croza Empire planets they control, or at least monitor - it is unclear with how they speak. This particular planet has more of the strange temple like ships in the sky and on the ground are more massive buildings with spirit energy in them that those who are attuned to the spirits can feel brimming inside; the planet is no Geyze, but it is a healthy planet for spirit energy*

<DeathStar> <Croza Thesis> It is being believed that spirits come from a need of the planet with great spirit capability and will to produce a being that can being fill need it is needing something of itself. Is spirit a byproduct of will of planet? Planet's will? Must look into it being more due to our own nature. Planets without spirits seem to not last as long or are being too young to have them.

<Dias`> <Id> So when a planet reaches a certain spirit energy saturation level, it can result in a manifestation of a Spirit being. Interesting.
<DeathStar> <Celes> If I recall if it gets too much it can also result in bad things too
<Dias`> <Id> That a planet would need a way to release that.
<Sara> <Liana> And there are so few spirits in the universe we always knew...

<Seraphna> Alita> Theory says so, and we know our new reality has its own set of spirits.
<DeathStar> *Thesis 2 notes that there are cases to create a spirit by irregular means but it is not advised due to their very nature. There are a few means - it has been being noted by seeing race *a number comes up* using their abilities to create an irregular spirit. It lasted only a few months and it was not stable. Irregular spirits are being not created by spirits and serve no purpose in spirit ecosystems. They are not likely to last long without constant supervision.

<DeathStar> *Celes opens up thesis 3* <Celes> Why do so many planets have spirits. "It is being my belief we are reaching a critical point. Spirit energy is on the rise. Is has been found that a world can only have too much spirit energy at one point before it being oversaturated and poisoned. Is it being the same for a universe level? It has been theorized that we are being filled with new spirits every day. Many of our group are arguing this fact. It is being like we are split day in and out."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "So one group wants to let things happen naturally and observe, while the other wants to accelerate the spirit energy artificially?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Well, at this point spirits are only on Geyze thankfully in our time period. The most they could do is poison Geyze.

<Dias`> <Id> It may be more that they want to find a way to siphon off the spirit energy using the Spirits over accelerating it
<DeathStar> <Celes> I do recall Kumen has a few artifical ship spirits.

<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I think creating artificial spirits is a better way to use the excess energy than attempting to supercharge existing spirits, especially considering how badly that went."
<DeathStar> <Celes> Either way, I recall Tora and Vyvy had issues on Kumen - present day - with the artifical spirits because they made too many too fast

<DeathStar> <Celes> It seems if you put too many spirits in one location, the world cannot support them
<Seraphna> Alita> Well Geyze likely lucked out there.
<Dias`> <Id> So it's a balance thing. A Spirit is used to reduce the level of Spirit Energy but too many will siphon too much.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ohhhh... I wodner if that is what doomsday'd Kumen."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Likely."
<Dias`> <Id> But maybe the constant use by Geyze's people is also helping to maintain that level of spirit energy. But then we should ask, when Jaime released all that gathered Spirit Energy, did she accelerate a future problem?
<DeathStar> <Celes> Perhaps. But Geyze does have a lot of spirits at the same time
<DeathStar> <Celes> So it might not be an issue
<Dias`> <Id> I suppose it'll be a future concern to look in to.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I guess it's time for a branch of science based on the spirits."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> My question is what brings these two sides to blows? The fact that all the spirits is eating away at the universe?
<Seraphna> Alita> A lot of spirits and bolstered by that Gift of the Ancients.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Or just plain using the spirits
<Dias`> <Id> It's hard to say, but if a massive influx in Spiritual energy begins to appear that could poison the known universe, that would cause a problem
<DeathStar> *Celes eyes the terminal, clacking her fingernails on it* Liana, anyone, - anything else I should look up? Weapon creation, something related to us?

<Sara> <Liana> Hmm. I do wonder about the whole bond Aska had with the Hapian family in our time

We wish to observe them more to see. They go beyond just pacting and shaing abilities like normal spirits. *see observation and monitoring*

<DeathStar> <Celes> They list what they believe the spirits can do and have under that a list of things they suspect
<Seraphna> Alita> Well we could have told them that... our spirits are people.

<DeathStar> <Celes> It seems they been observing the Geyze Spirits for some time
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Don't you already have a cat spirit?

<Seraphna> Talia> Talia is made from Mana, not Spirit.
<DeathStar> *Celes plugs in the number for Ceilidh - it seems to be a race of smaller, lallafel like people. It seems they have not been tkaen over yet and they practice blood like rituals and can be rather mystical in their practices*

<Seraphna> Talia> Talia met cool cat spirit, best friend now. Is why need fish spirit to feed us.

<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Well... not if there's someone else with that type of experience instead..."

<Seraphna> **Alita muses, then holds up her staff and raises a wall of water around them all**
<Xanatos> 6* Simon summon his spear and slams the haft into the ground, causing bits of frost to kick up around him. He pauses and then bows to the little spear holders.
<DeathStar> *they pause at both of their moves, then mumble something in their language*
<DeathStar> *the translator picks up words like "magic" "they"
<Xanatos> <Simon> Seems we were of the same mind this time, Alita.
<Seraphna> **Alita adds some flare by forming Talia like cats that leap about inside the water** Indeed.
<DeathStar> *finally one steps up and points at the group, mumbling words, and more words translates "challenge" is heard*
<DeathStar> <Celes> I think she is issuing a challenge to one of us
<Seraphna> **Talia tries to teleport herself to Alita's side**

<DeathStar> *Talia manages to do so; the aliens grow angry*

<DeathStar> *the blood rises up like a shield, the blood mage walking forward, the blood twirling back to the mage, then spikes at Talia, it flowing like something alive*

<Dias`> 6Id records, studies and scans it.
<Seraphna> **Talia rolls to one side and her fire forms into her Familiar Blade as she strikes at the shield**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *gestures and forms her arcane console, scanning the blood magic* "Hmmmmm..."
<DeathStar> *the blood seems to be made from the mage herself; she's literally fighting with her own will*
<Seraphna> **Talia concentrates and holds out her free hand, starting to devour the mana from it**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "This is actually quite fascinating..."
<Dias`> <Id> It would seem she's infused her blood with her mana itself.
<Xanatos> <Simon> That is...very dangerous.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "That seems... inefficient at best, dangerous at worst."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "It seems to be their specialty on this world."
<Seraphna> Alita> Especially against someone that lives off mana.
<Dias`> <Id> It's a trade off. It's most likely the reason why her Blood Magic is so strong.
<DeathStar> *as she devours the mana, it seems to be working, but the then the mage turns and begins to allow her oddly to eat more of the blood magic mana*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I don't think that's a good idea."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Huh..." *shifts the scans to check for hexes, curses, or even magical toxins*
<Seraphna> **Talia blinks, shifting the energy from her arm into her sword, letting it glow as she sends out a mana blast**
<Dias`> <Id> Interesting.
<DeathStar> *Lana would see the blood magic and the mana itself is soaked in black magic - even Kito herself when she used it that one time nearly killed herself long ago*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Alite, there is soem bad vibes beind sent through that blood magic now."
<Seraphna> Alita> Mmm, I’ll try to make sure she doesn’t absorb it then.
<Dias`> <Id> It may very well be allowing Talia to poison herself with it.
<DeathStar> *As Talia moves to shift the mana, would feel it creeping along in side her, sticking like tar as it she shoots it; the blood mage rolls and begins to create a new set*
<DeathStar> *briefly open to an attack*
<Seraphna> **Alita sends her own mana into Talia who then leaps with a Mana Slash**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I could formulate a coutnerspell... but not quick enough for this battle... and not really one that Talia could pull off anyway."
<DeathStar> *Talia clips the blood mage. There's some talk and it's decided the battle is over.*
<DeathStar> *Gwen is freed*
<Seraphna> **Talia pants and Alita inspects her, using some cleansing magic as she pouts**
<DeathStar> *the small blood mages surround the group, staring* Why here?
<DeathStar> *Celes takes Liana's hand*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I have to ask the same question
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Can someone translate for me? Or just tell them we're here to find out about creating spirits."
<Seraphna> Talia> Making spirits!
<Dias`> 6Id translates for Ceilidh
<DeathStar> *the mages peer at each other, looking troubled a bit, then nod; Neekito though, her face goes stony*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I'll wait at the portal
<DeathStar> *Celes bows to Neekito and moves to follow the mages; their path leads down a path with large stones wedged into dangerous mountain path; one mis-step and one could fall all the way down. If one wanted to push another and end their life, now would be the time*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...I think Talia's outburst made Neekito upset..."
<DeathStar> *Gwen walks down holding Talia's hand since she got poisoned and keeps an eye on Lana, since he can't hold both their hands, while Celes walks shakily, oddly looking like she is having trouble with heights - or at least heights where one might could go tumbling to their death*
<DeathStar> <Celes> Well, due to the nature of how she was made - Kito using blood magic and these mages, I am not shocked
<Dias`> <Id> Doubtful. It's more likely that she doesn't want to see the process of how she was created
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "As a..." *she pauses* "Well, I already know how I was created."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...?" *looks anxious as they move down the trail*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon looks annoyed at himself that he didn't suggest that Neekito remain behind for just this reason.
<DeathStar> *Celes takes shallow breaths, hand on the mountain* why doesn't this thing have railings?

<Dias`> <Id> You can hold on to my shell if you are worried about falling?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Probably they want people to fall for bodies...

<Dias`> 6Id allows her to hold on to him and while he doesn't push up against he does stabilize her
<DeathStar> *thankfully things get better as they near the ground - the strange makeshift path quits being so make-shift and it spreads open to be a real path and isn't so tight a path; as they reach ground level, Celes kneels on the ground a moment*
<DeathStar> <Celes> I never knew I had a fear of heights until now
<Seraphna> Alita> It’s easy to forget when you have them. Matter of perspective.
