<DeathStar> *the morning begins with a light fog coming in and Neekito has already prepard the team a full course meal. Sophia snoozes at the table, the smell of various meats, even fish - bleh - eggs and other breakfasts rouses her and soon Gwen arrives and takes a seat*

<DeathStar> <Gale> ... Okay! *poses as she warps them to the main planning area where Aska, Void, and Shade are waiting. Aska sits in a chair, her usually holy light looks grimmer as she is leaned back, peering at reports*

<DeathStar> *Celes glances at Liana, then back at Aska*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon bows slightly to the big three as he steps forward.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "And I am the co-pilot."
<DeathStar> *Aska glances at Id a moment, then down* Due to them being able to sense if we just teleported up there, we want to send you and the other heroes up to the planet on the ship, along with the resistance to provide a distraction and learn what you can about what is going on with the planet. Maybe learn where the Ancients are located and we can destroy them. For the most part, they are using those puppet shells of their to control those ships and even if they are inside them, there are enough of them they could overrun us. And there is the problem of the other spirits
<DeathStar> <Aska> Once you have enough information, Celes can reach out to me and I'll come. I've strengthend our connection. *that's all she says*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Hmmm. That is quite the challenge your asking, but none the less it should be doable.

<DeathStar> *Celes turns to go and Gwen rubs the back of his head*

<Xanatos> <Simon> Do we know if there are any croza left that were on our side? Any contact with them?
<DeathStar> <Shade> Sadly, we haven't heard anything yet.

<ChadWinters`> <Id> That doesn't bode well, but we shouldn't count them out yet.
<DeathStar> *Celes emerges from the castle with Gwen, waiting for the others until they're done*
<Seraphna> **Alita gently moves over to Void to make a softly worded request** I would like to Pact with you, if I may.
<Xanatos> <Simon> None-the-less if we can find the host beings it certainly could put a stop to this all. 6* He nods once more to himself and then bows before turning to leave.

<Seraphna> Alita> It would be prudent to have all three of you connected to someone on the mission.
<Xanatos> <Simon> I'm not certain we will have the time. But you are welcome to try.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> We will consider it a secondary goal.
<DeathStar> *Void eyes her, then a moment or two later Alita feels a connection to him* A temporary pact then. Now go.

<DeathStar> *as they head to where they parked the temple ship, they find the other heroes already there, loading the resistance fighters inside*

<DeathStar> *As they enter the ship, the lower levels are all dirty and mucky now with so many feet from the resistance being dirty*

<Seraphna> Talia> Our eternal battle continues, demon orb.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "No, you can't just destroy a priceless treasure like this!"
<DeathStar> *Celes working her way to the top of the bridge where, thankfully, it remains untouched. Taking her seat, she pulls Liana onto her lap. Gwen finds a wall to lean against, and Neekito fidgets in a corner*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We'll rename it soemthign respectable, Id." *heads for the bridge*

<Seraphna> Talia> **gasps** Even my Lana is against me. **sniffles**

<DeathStar> <Celes> The sooner the better.

<DeathStar> *The ship responds; it can take off anytime*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon stand by ID looking out at what they can see of the city.

<ChadWinters`> 6Id interfaces with the ship, assisting Lana
<Alicia> * Ceilidh tries to retrieve as much data as she can from the ship, if any is stored there, while they travel.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *claps her hands together then makes a rising gesture with both hands to bring the ship off the ground*
<DeathStar> *there's no much data, but a while back Alita downloaded a ton of informatio nfrom the friendly Ancient ship, she might still have it around*
<DeathStar> *The Ancient Ship lifts off and begins to into the sky, then soon space, moving surprisingly fast, the transition happening within a minute's time period*
<Seraphna> **Alita is all holding Data and stuff**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Id, calculate and set our course."
<DeathStar> *as they float in space, they see the stars are filled with similiar temple ships between them and Kumen*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> We have numerous ships between us and Kumen
<DeathStar> <Celes> We can only but go forward though
<DeathStar> <Celes> Right?
<DeathStar> *Ceilidh would be able to access things like the design of the ship, power, boring technical stuff*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I can try to plot a course but eventually they'll converge. Going forward would be the most prudent option.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "I'll monitor for scans."

<Xanatos> <Simon> This feel dangerous. Are they completely surrounding the planet? Could we come around an make atmosphere from another angle?

<DeathStar> <Neekito> It appears to me they are surrounding it, Sir Simon

<DeathStar> *Neekito glances at Ellie* Do you have ideas?
<DeathStar> <Celes> It's why I said it might just be easier to go straight ahead. Can we fool them?
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I could try to replicate the data Lana and I gathered on the AI that was hiding with me.

<DeathStar> *As they talk, they get a bad roll, and the other temple ships are already beginning to approach them at Geyze*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *looks at Id* "And use it like an enemy IFF?"
<DeathStar> *possibily seeing them come up from the planet*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> We ran out of time talking
<Xanatos> <Simon> Hm. It would appear we are out of time. They approach.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *looks back at her consoles* "...we've been made."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I don't like our chances if we have to fight."
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Indeed, we would lose
<Seraphna> Alita> We could always have Id wear that shell and pretend to be one?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Not at all. Totally outnumbered... and its not like we had time to cook up any surprise modifications that they won't expect."
<DeathStar> *Celes rests her face in her hands, but it's out of her hands since this is not her expertise*

<DeathStar> *they've covered about half the distance*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "We could skirt the atmosphere and get a gravity slingshot assist."
<Seraphna> Alita> I could... cause a few space accidents. But it will tap my power.

<DeathStar> *they even fire a few shots, trying to damage them*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Please move our ship.
<DeathStar> *wow, one shot almost got you*
<Seraphna> **Alita sighs and pulls out her book, then rapidly chants, summoning one, two, then three meteors, hoping that since htey are in space what she gets essentially is Asteroids slamming into ships**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *takes helm and drops them back toward the atmosphere to enact her plan&
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Performing evasive actions. 6Id begins moving to dodge
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Someone alert our passengers that we are about to get some crazy aceleration going."
<Seraphna> **Talia attempts to mimic one of her casts as a Familiar to add a fourth into play**
<DeathStar> *Alita manages to form asteroids and her roll gets it so they don't destroy the ships, but she does wing them, causing the ships to be knocked off course and damaged, slowing them down*
<DeathStar> *Talia gets a good roll and finishes them off*
<DeathStar> *but due to the sheer amount, there's still 15 left*
<Seraphna> Talia> Mew Mew Powah!
<Seraphna> Alita> That's it for my book, it needs time to recoup it's power.
<DeathStar> *Celes, Gwen, and Neekito grab on as they alert the people downstairs*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *cranks up the speed* "Id, do some math to calc our escape velocity!"
<Seraphna> Talia> Spirit Heroes? Can they do stuff?
<DeathStar> <Celes> Whatever you're about to do, we need to hurry, they're about to fire
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I don't think their weapons work like that
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Already done. I've sent you the proper path
<Jackieness> <Lana> *aligns the ship on the calculated path*
<DeathStar> *The 15 ships charge up and begin to fire in 3*
<DeathStar> *2*
<Seraphna> **Alita and Talia work together to summon a spirit shield around the ship**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Get ready for the slingshot..."
<DeathStar> *1*
<DeathStar> *they open fire*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *pulls the ship along the eescape vector*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon begins to chant and attempts to form as large of an ice wall as he can to intercept some of the fire.
<DeathStar> *the ship is slammed and there are sparks, as they jump*
<DeathStar> *or sling slot*
<DeathStar> *but Lana gets a lucky roll and manages to get them away despite it*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I lost...years...
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We're clear!"
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Assessing damages
<DeathStar> *mainly minor damage, thanks to the shields*
<DeathStar> *As they continue along, they approach Kumen, but with all the ships and the massive city, it is clear their window to land will be short*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> We escaped with scuffs. Let us not waste our time.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We're almost there in record time."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Where do we land? It's just one massive technological city
<ChadWinters`> 6Id accesses the ships database to see if it pinpoints any specific parts
<Seraphna> Alita> I believe in our time they land in those Space Port things.
<DeathStar> *it would not, other than like the standard ports to land*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Somewhere dense that we could spread out once we land?
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Please pick a port.
<DeathStar> *more temples begin to pick up their trail as they fly over massive towers*
<DeathStar> *and residental districts for the citizens here*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Do we want to damage any towers along our way? It could slow them down
<DeathStar> <Celes> We'd just be hurting the citizens of Kumen
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Find us a landing zone."
<DeathStar> *a landing port comes up soon*

<Jackieness> <Lana> *tries bringing the temple ship in to the port*
<DeathStar> *Lana lands and jolts the entire structure*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> ... we're on Kumen
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Its go time. Drop the ramp and get moving!"
<Jackieness> <Lana> *pumps her fist in the air*
<Xanatos> <Simon> We should quickly spread out. 6* he forms his spear and moves for the exit.
<Xanatos> <BIX> SUCCESFUL. LANDING.
<DeathStar> *Neekito hurries off and Celes rises. As they do so, alarms go off due to the enemy in the air*

<DeathStar> <Gwen> I think we should leave
<Xanatos> 6* BIX thumbs up and then runs after the others.
<DeathStar> *Gwen pulls Talia along*
<Seraphna> **Talia hops on Gwen and Alita nods, moving with tyhem**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *stands up and heads off to disembark*

<DeathStar> *the resistance and the heroes are already exiting the temple and spreading out into the city*
<DeathStar> *Celes following suit, pulling Liana along while Neekito gets Ellie out*

<DeathStar> *as she says that, suddenly the entire landing pad explodes, knocking Celes on her rear*

<Seraphna> Talia> Close shave! Let's hiiiide!

<DeathStar> *the city of Kumen is massive; it is designed with Ancient technology, the buildings rising high, sometimes as 6 stories, and their designs are a lot like the ships in some ways. The streets are orderly and nothing like Geyze, making it harder to hide in. There are devices to ride in and everything here is of a very high order; almost like spirit-tech, but it's clear this is older, but somehow seems to do more at the same time*
<DeathStar> *As Celes gets up, she looks around, moving toward what looks like a carriage and gets in it*
<DeathStar> <Celes> Here, get in this.

<Seraphna> **Alita raises a brow but gets in**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *climbs in after Celes* "Back again."

<DeathStar> *uptown, downtown, mid-town, Archives, and other locations*

<DeathStar> *the place seems to have Id lockd out*
<DeathStar> <Celes> For the most part uptown is where the Croza where located, downtown is where the students were located, mid-town I have no idea.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Interesting. This entire place seem's to be prepared for me. Remote access will not be easy.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Don't try to access anything right now, Id. We need to disappear into the city first."
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I was only seeing if the doors were there.
<Xanatos> <Simon> I wonder if midtown is the diversion.
<DeathStar> *Angels appear out of nowhere*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Here comes the local footsoldiers!"

<DeathStar> *After a while things quiet down; they've left the other heroes and things quiet down as they arrive at the Archives. However, if anything, there's more patrols here just due to the nature of it. While students move about doing their natural lives, there's a tension of waiting for trouble.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...Archives... that is where Frost nearly cornered us."
<DeathStar> <Celes> So. *she says as they sit in the carriage* Do we have an idea where we to start looking
<DeathStar> *she eyes the building*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> She might still be guarding the area
<Xanatos> <Simon> Lana wanted to siphon what she could from the archives...but it is quite active.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> The archives may lead us to where the Croza house their...bodies.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I doubt it. You think they'd publicly go "hey we're here"?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Exactly."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> No way
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Then where else can we search?"
<DeathStar> <Celes> From what I've ever gleamed in those buildings was answers to things they've discovered on other worlds.

<DeathStar> *there is large devices, almost spirit-tech in nature, building other devices, building other buildings, to help the city grow. In the center of it all is a massive building*

We have all these spirits in one place - original, new, and so on. I want to tap into their abilities with a creation of mine that I made after studying them all these years and send out a spirit attack wave through the planet and destroy every one of them. I coud also do the same for Geyze, but I don't know what that could do for it's spirit balance
