<DeathStar> *the woods seem to be ... still, with no wind blowing through them and compared to the past, Geyze seems to be suffering from something that one cannot quite put a finger on*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix whirs around a bit, looking left to right, head tilted.

<DeathStar> *it is hard to say, due to the amount of forests*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX taps his chin a few times and then gives a shrug in defeat.
<Xanatos> 6* BIX mimics the fingers in the mouth to get the direction of the wind thing despite not having saliva so it doesn't actually work for him and then points in a direction.
<Xanatos> <BIX> Adventure. 6* He begins to march unless stopped.
<DeathStar> *Bix would find, to his distress, there is no wind*
<DeathStar> *as if Geyze is an ill planet. Even upon closer inspection, the forest even looks a bit sickly, like the Earth is rejecting Geyze*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX pauses once he notices the forest itself looking bad and kneels to squint in concern.
<DeathStar> *it seems to be struggling; who knows the cause*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX glances at those with him as he stands back upright.

<Xanatos> 6* BIX glances around and then begins to climb one of the taller trees to see if he can get his bearings.

<DeathStar> *As Bix gets closer, it seems he's definitely not in the Great Forest, due to how massively tall the forests are - and the Dark Lands forests are known for their strange colors, leaving this most likely one of the few forests in the Nauralist lands. They seem to be much larger in the past, spanning outward as far as Bix can see*
<DeathStar> *there seem to be some forts and stuff in the direction of the Hapian boreders*

<DeathStar> *Neekito returns to Ellie after foraging and handing her berries and stuff* I have been scouting the area with my powers the past few days. There is no Naturalist Kingdom here. While they do have a hero in the area, the hero seems to mainly be a protector of this area from bandits.

<Sara> <Ellie> At least she's doing *something*, y'know? At least they still care
<DeathStar> *Neekito muses* I suppose that is true
<Sara> <Ellie> But it's unnerving, without the wind
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Indeed. *she keeps an eye out for the hero as they talk*
<Sara> * Ellie peers around as well
<DeathStar> <Neekito> You know we'll see be in the Hapian capital where this ritual will take place.

<Sara> <Ellie> Good question... it doesn't seem like we're accomplishing much just staying around here, especially by our lonesome, but I just... get this feeling...

<DeathStar> *As she asks this, the hero of the wind of this era, Beth Allwind steps out, moving over* <Beth> Ah, there you are. Are you ready to continue? *She peers up* We need to pick up the pace if we want to be on time. *she picks up her luggage and Neekito falls in line with her, moving to join Beth*
<Sara> <Ellie> Yeah. Yeah. Not getting much done sitting here after all.
<DeathStar> <Beth> Ms soon as we are out of this forest we can hopefully get some horses and move faster; especially with your talent with the wind.
<Sara> <Ellie> I mean, yeah, I can help us move faster, at least. Neekito and I don't really have any preparation to worry about... we just have the clothes on our backs pretty much, y'know?

<DeathStar> *Beth begins to trek once more, picking up their bags*

<DeathStar> <Neekito> I'm referring to why Ellie is not the current hero. Some werebeast claims to be the wind hero. We've seen now your family holds that legacy. She was saying something about the main family giving up the fight and the branch family continuing it, but I doubt the branch family suddenly became werebeasts
<Sara> <Ellie> Oh, that. Yeah, it... seemed almost like a sore subject, the way she was behaving as she talked about it
<DeathStar> *She motions at Beth* Allwind of the Allawind family. I'm guessing the branch family's name continued to morph into something else while the main family became the Allaways.
<Sara> <Ellie> It's a miracle that the Hapians stayed the Hapians for so long; names change a lot I think. But I wonder what happened...
<Dias`> <Id> If I could access my other sphere that remained behind, I could answer that for you.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Yes, I would since if the branch family is no more... Then I will punish this werebeast pretender. *As they emerge out of the forest, Beth works on getting them all horses*

<DeathStar> *Beth looks up* <Beth> Into what? *she asks as she makes sure the horse can support Bix*

<Xanatos> 6* BIX pats the donkey and giggles at its sounds.
<DeathStar> <Beth> Well, ... my grandfather kind of drilled it into our hands that it was our job. My father gave my brothers and sisters to see who would be most intuned with the weapon of the hero and it turned out I was the one. So I been using it to protect the region that the first hero picked. I know other heroes with the weapon sometimes like to wander
<DeathStar> *Beth pulls herself up onto a horse and Neekito struggles to get onto her's*
<Sara> <Ellie> So basically just a sense of duty in your case then, huh?
<Sara> * Ellie awkwardly gets up onto a horse

<DeathStar> *after traveling a few days, the group arrives in a Hapian Capital that is much smaller than the present day, with the castle being in a middling state. A festival seems to be taking place as they arrive, with wind masks being sold on the streets as Beth puts up the horses* <Beth> It looks like the people are excited for the Wind Spirit
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm not surprised."

<DeathStar> <Beth> It has been a while since a new Spirit was born
<Sara> <Ellie> It feels a little weird that people are making money off of this
<DeathStar> <Beth> True, but I suppose the Empress doesn't want to stifle the people
<DeathStar> *as she says this, a carriage held by prietesses is carried by, with Undine inside, fanning herself, peering about as she is carried to the castle*

<DeathStar> <Beth> I'm going to go get us a hotel room. I'll meet you all at the castle

<DeathStar> *Undine steps out and begins to walk around, examining women and talking to them until Salamander appear and chides her*

<Sara> * Ellie shrugs and wears it high, on her hair, like a Japanese festival mask
<DeathStar> *some children run past them, arms spread out*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> It makes one realize what would happen in the present day if something happened to the Spirits
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Geyze would ail
<DeathStar> *she peers up at the sky, where Kumen is no longer looming over them, but the damaged planet is now in a synch orbit with Geyze due to the battle*
<Sara> <Ellie> ...Well Volt has been dead for a very long time in our time
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I wonder if only the primary spirits matter. It is something to ask when we return
<Sara> <Ellie> There's kinda still thunder so maybe there's something going on we don't know
<DeathStar> *Beth steps up* I have our room. Please, follow me. Tomorrow is the ritual. And we'll have to protect the newborn spirit
<Sara> * She shrugs
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "There was never a replacement?"

<Sara> <Ellie> Well, Volt died without any children
<Sara> <Ellie> And there haven't really been any birthing rituals like that...
<DeathStar> *she leads them to the hotel room, where there is a spirit-tech hotsprings*
<DeathStar> *Neekito hmmmm's, dumping her and Ellie's stuff in their room, before moving to the springs*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX looks around in delight, focusing on things that have changed since he was last here, some things even being the fruits of his labor.
<DeathStar> <Beth> Elllie, with me. I'd like to talk to you. *she motions at the hotsprings, leaving her equipment in the rooms before going downstairs*
<Sara> * Ellie blinks and follows along. She doesn't part with Rending Gale even as she leaves the room, but makes it less conspicuous, a hairpin or something
<DeathStar> *Bix would find it a practical carnival wwith food, fruits, shows with the wind spirit bring joy to the world*
<DeathStar> *Beth sinks into the water with Neekito, figuring they can talk privately here. Undine and Salamander outside eye the shows, mumbling about whether they got shows like this*

<Alicia> * Ceilidh... waits, since she wasn't invited over.

<DeathStar> <Beth> You asked about the family situation. Essentially the main family decided one day to just quit using the weapon and being tied to it. They were going to follow their own destiny and become a normal family. There was also some internal strife. I won't go into it completely, but the strongest of them, the family didn't approve of for some reason, even though they were perfect in every way. So the weapon sat and say until the branch family took it up for the past few generations and the main family just ... went on and became ordinary citizens
<DeathStar> <Beth> I do not think they'll ever go back to the old ways. They have made their decision.
<Sara> <Ellie> Perfect in every way?
<DeathStar> <Beth> They were in synch with the hero weapon, they aced every test thrown at them, but the family rejected them. It's not my place to go further. The branch family was bit more open with who could wield it. I'll just say that

<Sara> * Ellie shakes her head sadly
<DeathStar> *Beth nods and looks up at the sky* Anyway, lets just hope everything works out well tomorrow

<DeathStar> *Neekito simply nods* <Beth> It's said that newborn spirits aren't fully aware of things as well. So they'll be helpless as well.
<DeathStar> *she steps outside where the partying is even more intense than the day before and heads for the castle*

<DeathStar> *Undine and Salamander are nowhere to be seen at this point, having likely gone into the spirit realm already. As they step into the castle, the Hapian Empress is talking to what heroes could make it and Beth moves to get into position. With Salamander and Undine back, they have people who can summon using their powers about the castle for protection*

<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I keep thinking I should be over there..."
<DeathStar> *As she steps into the spirit realm, Beth takes up defense positions in the castle, taking a position to look outside at the crowd*

<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "You know, hero talks."

<DeathStar> *it seems to look exactly like the current day hapian as far as floor layout, except maybe current walls have not been built yet and furniture and stuff being less advance*

<DeathStar> *Suddenly the Earth hero makes a startled noise when the hammer leaves them and comes over to Ceilidh without hesitation*
<Sara> <Ellie> A-Ah! *she jerks seeing the commotion*

<DeathStar> *the heroes eye Ceilidh, as if trying to figure out who she is*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX pretends like he doesn't know Ceil, looking up at the ceiling.

<Alicia> * Ceilidh pauses, trying to find a way to answer that isn't too awkward. "A predecessor."
<DeathStar> *at that moment before anyone can ask anything else, Aska, Shade, - Void taking up the rear of the trio, lead a confused looking Sylph, then Salamander and Undine. Sylph has her eyes closed, leaning on Aska*
<Sara> * Ellie looks over, an unreadable expression on her face
<DeathStar> *Sylph seems mostly nude, having not even formed her clothes out of leaves yt*

<DeathStar> <Sylph> ..,, *pauses, tilting her head toward Ellie*
<DeathStar> <Salamander> I still think we should have called her Wind. <Undine> Breeze
<Sara> * Ellie blinks a couple of times as she realizes Sylph is looking at her
<DeathStar> *Sylph begins to open her eyes, blinking them as if trying to focus when there's a crash at the castle gates; a castle guard rushes in* <Guard> The crowd has gotten out of hand to see the new spirit. It's almost like someone has whipped them into a frenzy.

<DeathStar> *the sound of many people can be heard approaching. Aska pauses and takes the Empress upstairs while Shade takes over holding Sylph's arm, who looks confused*
<Sara> * Ellie turns in response to the noise, producing Rending Gale in sword form
<DeathStar> <Beth> Perfect. *She forms Gale's heroic weapon*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX blinks and looks to the guard, an angry expression he walks to block their path.

<DeathStar> <Shade> Ah, good job, familiar person. *she heads the way indicated, as they slide through the back rooms with servants eyeing them. As they open the back door, masked men stand there, one holding a spirit-tech device and whaps Shade to the side, catching her off guard and picking Sylph up*
<DeathStar> *they turn to go quickly as Beth draws her weapon*

<DeathStar> <Shade> ... *Sits up, holding her jaw* ... they did not just...

<Sara> * Ellie turns Rending Gale into a bow and fires at the man. "You absolutely will not take her!"
<DeathStar> *The man is hit and yelps as Beth zooms forward, swinging her sword at his leg to take it off, making him tumble backwards with Sylph. The other two turn and one jabs the spirit-tech right against her, putting it to maximum as they both jolt Beth and make her jerk in place as another rushes to retrieve Sylph*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> ... !? Do not like. *she tries to use wind and knocks one away into the sky*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh moves to rescue Sylph, or at least keep her away from kidnappers
<ChadWinters`> 6Id floats behind Sylph and creates a small orb of spirit energy around them both.
<DeathStar> *Sylph lets Ceilidh move her as the final one uses the tech and begins to change it into a bow of sorts*
<Sara> * Ellie rushes over and looks at the device, grimacing
<DeathStar> *aiming it at Ceilidh and Id* Hand her over.
<DeathStar> *Beth falls over as he transforms it into a weapon*

<DeathStar> *Sylph flops onto her knees, but before she can have what appears to be a panic attack, she studies the forest and seems to be taken with it, studying it*

<Xanatos> 6* BIX trips about 5 times on his way to the smoke.

<DeathStar> *as the smoke clears, it looks like only part of the structure is destroyed; Sylph somehow used her wind powers to engulf Neekito's explosive powers in a wind ball and is trying to heave it up into the sky, straining with all her mind. It's clear the Neekito copy was set off with something as Sylph strains to hurl it into the sky*
<DeathStar> <Cypher> ... what in the world is going on.
<Xanatos> <BIX> Damage! Warning!
<DeathStar> *Rain arrives and begins to report on the scene*
<Seraphna> **Threna pops in by Lumi and peers up, then adds a TK burst to the launching upwards**
<DeathStar> *The atomic explosive power hurls upward and Sylph then adds her power to send it to a harmless distance*
<Seraphna> **Threna tilts her head** That was a lot of spiritual power.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> .... *teleports and seems to touch Fae, glowing and giving her something and warps back as Neekito hurls her at something with her copy powers, trying to slice Sylph up. Sylph forms a spirit blade to cut into Neekito's chest *
<DeathStar> <Sylph> ... Hm. *then blinks as Neekito begins to strangle the spirit*
<DeathStar> <Cypher> Uh...
<Xanatos> <BIX> Neekito? 6* He tries to blast but need to work on his thrusters so he just run and tries to pull Neekito back.
<DeathStar> *Neekito is pulled off, the wound finally setting in as Sylph falls to her knees, gasping, the copy Neekito lift in the future falling apart and dusting to pieces. Fae stares at all the damage and Neekito falling apart to nothing in Bix's hands*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> ... phwaaa...haaa...thanks.... Bix....
<Seraphna> **Thena teleports next to the remains and fixes her glasses, taking a scan and a sample** Was it a fake...? Some sort of new spirit to attack?
<Xanatos> 6* BIX blinks as he tries to keep her from falling apart and just stares, looking shocked.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Neekito used spirit mimcry powers to make copy to look after Fae. But something happen to copy that she began to act corrupted.
<Seraphna> **Threna muses** Is there any connection to the original?
<Xanatos> <BIX> ....poor, neekito.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> With Ellie and others not coming back anytime soon, it was Sylph's job to take out the corrupted copy before she hurt someone. *she eyes Fae eyeing her, confused probably at seeing Neekito "die"*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Can only guess Neekito got corrupted in past maybe and shifted corruptiont to copy. Sylph felt she should do it as her last job.
<DeathStar> *Sylph wobbily uses the stairs*
<Seraphna> **Threna muses and gently helps her**
<Seraphna> Thrnea> ...Last job... you gave it up?
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Yes. Enough power to last Sylph as long as there is an Ellie. So plans to be conservative. This long seperation has made Sylph realize that she can't find anything that keeps her attention anymore.

<Seraphna> **Threna nods** We will have to ensure the Summoni understand the power has shifted too. Fae is so young to be starting this...

<Xanatos> 6* BIX thinks, trying to remember what happened in the bast and tuts to himself before moving to return to Lumi.
