During this period, Celes and company have been going through the stuff they collected on the journey and studying it while the Alliance is studying and trying to figure out what is up with the monster rise
<DeathStar> 6* There is also talk about trying to send an expedition by ship out to the islands - a flying trip was tried but the further you go out a magic field tries to bring the ship down
<DeathStar> *Lumi muses with everyone on the monster talk and other things*
<DeathStar> <Lumi> So how important do you think these islands are you found on the map?
<DeathStar> *Lumi looks at the map with the mysterious islands that no one has been to on Geyze*
<Seraphna> Alita> Well, it interestingly is closed off by the magical field effect... one has to wonder...
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Clearly someone does not want just anyone to stumble upon these lands."
<DeathStar> *Celes peers up* Did not all of Geyze have the magical field once though?

<Seraphna> Alita> That is true... and likewise, Kumen seemed to absorb magic away. But the fact that it is so hard to get to these islands could mean things are all that much more interesting to find there... a Spirit could go there with ease if they knew the location.

<Xanatos> <Simon> I developed a system to allow technology to exist on Geyze but then we were brought here and it was rendered obsolete. Perhaps we could try to use it to get closer. Install a tower on a boat and move in slowly?

<Xanatos> <Simon> At least then we could know it wasn't working and turn around before anyone is hurt.

<DeathStar> <Celes> The books go over the Ancients some but there is clearly information missing and even conflicting information in some areas. Likely due to Chronos.
<ChadWinters> <Id> I have been trying to study spirit-tech during my downtime but I'm still trying to learn a lot of other things
<DeathStar> <Celes> The books also both detail each of the hero's trips through the lands to their respective Kingdoms and even then there is some interesting information that seems to be a little off, especially in the Hapian one
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Especially in the Hapian one?"
<DeathStar> <Celes> The Hapian Kingdom of 12,000 years ago does not seem like it could have possibily jumped up in technology so fast. But the book doesn't cover it. What is described and what we know doesn't match.

<Xanatos> <Simon> It frustrating, the contradictions.
<Seraphna> **Alita muses** So some force may have come into the kindgom that jumped it's technological profile.

<DeathStar> <Lumi> We are trying. But they are usually, when found, surrounded by monsters
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Literally of their own making. Left to their own devices, they build up armies."

<DeathStar> <Lumi> Well going through what records I have available there have been "wars" with monsters in the past. Where monster populations swell and attack populaces

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "More natural creatures are balanced by natural enemies and predation. Even alpha predators have rivals that keep them in check. Monsters though do not follow this natural balance."

<DeathStar> <Lumi> That is most likely. I mean it would be crazy to try to increase the queen population because the monsters would overrun you

<Xanatos> <Simon> Are there any records showing the monsters have any sort of higher intelligence?
