<DeathStar> 6* After getting Simon's part onto a carriage, the team that decides to go back to the island looks around. Selena has finally been allowed to come along on an adventure, Celes relenting. Having a backpack on her shoulders, she looks around while Gwen is there, back finally from the Amazon lands

<Jackieness> <Lana> *keeps close to Gwen, taking notes*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Hm, it looks like a typical island to me.
<Seraphna> **Talia is resting on Gwen's shoulders**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *looks up* "What about under it?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime, stretches, a simple strapped over a shoulder, since she really doesn't wear normal clothes much anymore**
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Should we drill into it then? *she titls her head* <Selena> Drill into it? That is totally not how one adventures? We find a cave if anything
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns and thinks, seeing if she can get enough spirit energy to do it, she stomps the ground a bit and feels out for any cave systems**

<Seraphna> Jaime> Damn... this drain is tough. I can't feel out in the Earth for caverns.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Well. I suppose we should just pick a direction and go. *she looks ahead. There is some rocky areas up north and some trees to the west area*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Probably because the energy draind away once it left Simon's proteciton field."

<DeathStar> *reaching the trees, they would find trees that look fairly old and don't look like much of anything found on the mainland. The trees have various fruit on them and other types of shapes*
<DeathStar> *Selena takes a large fruit off one of the trees and studies it*
<Seraphna> **Jaime starts collecting various fruits**
<ChadWinters> 6Id floats over to Selena and tries scanning the fruit
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Hmmm..." *walks around the trees, making notes*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Sylph might try and eat me if I neglect to add these to Fruitdrassil.
<DeathStar> *the fruit seems to be fairly dangerous to people to eat*

<Seraphna> Jaime> I figure I'll get them scanned when we're out of the field and hide the bad ones.

<Seraphna> Jaime> I could try to sense it out but it seems like everything here just eats up spirit energy.

<DeathStar> *cutting a bit into it, then pulls back and swings again, grunting, then again, and again, and again until it falls over*

<DeathStar> *As she talks that, inside the tree is a strange substance deep inside it - it looks to be a few black rings and oily*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "...wait... what the? Scan this, would you?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime blinks** Wh-What is that?
<DeathStar> *the tree is a bit old, but not super old like Gnome's trees*
<ChadWinters> 6Id spins towards Lana and hovers over, scanning it
<DeathStar> *I mean Erevis was able to cut it down*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...its been here a while... but I'm getting creepy vibes now."
<Xanatos> <Xan> Is that black? Think it burnt or something before regrowing?

<Seraphna> Jaime> There's some old stories that he was part of a cult that actually worshipped such things. Buuuut, that's probably just another horror story.

<ChadWinters> <Id> I agree. If this is something that only inhabits trees I would not be too worried. But if it's reoccuring in other things then that may lead to why this place is sealed off

<Seraphna> Jaime> If I could get my energy to work here I could try and convince the statues to put themselves back together. Well... into statues at least. Can't promise accuracy.

<ChadWinters> <Id> There's no guarantee we'll get the carriage in the cavern anyways. It would be wise to leave us here. You would just need to be very careful with whatever you touch.

<DeathStar> *Selena looks more tired as she exits the field and shakes her head, shaking it off*
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods and grabs stuff to join them since they aren't moving right away**

The nacient wepaons are so out of commotion and broken down it's hard to tell but it might be Ancient Weapons, but it's hard to tell. 12,000 years would do that to you.*

<Seraphna> Jaime> I have a theory that the machine is running of siphoned spirit energy. And it's actually just suppressing machines.
