<DeathStar> *Leading up to the current day, Taiga has been working on test Spirit/Maka engines at Asteroid C. Ever since speaking with Cheryl at the PAX, some of the darkness surrounding her has vanished, or maybe she's hiding it better, or maybe working on the project has kept her busy, leading up to the summer. The engines, even with input from Chelsea and Ymir, has taken time though those two have been busy helping Chelsea with overhauling Chelsea's Mew Mew Ship to take double the Spirit Engine power.* (cont)
<DeathStar> *The engine tests, done at Asteroid C so no one will on the PAX, like CHIP who works with the Empress, will notice, go on and the first few resulted in some minor set backs, like nearly taking out Asteroid C due to a feed back loop that blew up outside the Asteroid C. The final engine that Taiga assures everyone is completed and works finally is now currently being finished at the Asteroid C, but she suggests the jump function not be used until it's fully accepted by whatever ship they put it on, leading many not to want the engine on their ship*

<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei has gathered the group in one of the PAX's many large rooms on the ship to have a group meeting now that "summer" has begun. Adeline has left to go home for a while to be with her family, and Taiga is sitting in the back, looking out of it like usual. The team has spent the past year mainly in peace, only doing a few missions here and there and scouting things for Lorelei and Taiga, but for the most part they have had a normal time

She has been doing more with the team when they do missions lately since Zegretta has been flaking out unless it has to do with Kaelan. <DeathStar> <Lorelei> I wanted to do a year in review with you kids. The Gods, I think, have gotten craftier and are avoiding us a bit, making it harder to detect them. Or at least are in places that are harder to find them. That is problem 1. That is why we're branching out and doing other things in addition that are important, too.

<DeathStar> <Lorelei> We been putting out feelers and seeing what we can find in other areas. The shapeshifters seem to have mostly moved to a single planet
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> But the Erusians and Tsivrixsh are still acting a little weird, so there may be one or two in control of them, or maybe a God.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> So we will probe into them while we do other things. I don't want them to be our main focus like the Cartel was before. With the PAX as a launching point we can do more things instead of getting bogged down like before
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> And finally, Taiga has finished the new engine. We just need to find a ship captain crazy enough to let us put the engine in their ship
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The problem is the engine is a little... combustable.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It needs time to get used to a ship's systems.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, I think if the engine is used normally without doing massive jumps into the Outer Region. Say, if we used it to do normal things, the engine could be broken in

<DeathStar> <Taiga> By combining Spirit Engines and Maka Magik, this engine will allow a jump much like the old Light Engine could but the engine if used right away will result in explosion. That's why the engine needs time to get used to whatever ship's systems before doing that jump

<DeathStar> <Taiga> I can only make so many computer simulations though. I admit having a computer spirit or a powerful AI will help, because the computer simulations all state the engine should properly jump with the Spirit-Magik combining once it has time to mix over a period of time
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But simulations can only do so much because they can only guess what a Spirit might can do or a powerful AI can do
<Seraphna> Cookie> So we'll get AIRYM and Thena can probably lend Cam'dee.
