<DeathStar> *Sylph holds out her hands and warps everyone to the Dina City for now since she knows it; the city itself Located on the grasslands, this city is a basic homey village built off the materials of the grasslands and serves as an observational post for those who come up from the Hapian Dynasty. It is a small city, and it is built with simple materials from the landscape - while maintaining the look of the Greek style. Raising horses is their primary function and teaching people to ride along the plains. Many from the cities come out here to learn from this city since it is wide open and have the best horse riders. Country folk, they do have their warriors and fighters, and they have a make shift training arena to teach their girls from a young age.*
<DeathStar> *some changes over the years since coming into Prime is a little technology here and there, more water canals to help grow the city, and the city seems to have grown a little and more mature, but otherwise it is small and quaint, but it has a small Guild*
<DeathStar> *right now the city has a large group of people and they are moving about antimatedly*

<DeathStar> <Selena> It is probably one of the villages not on the map. There are many so small that are not on it.

<DeathStar> <Gwen> This city is only of note as a border city to Hapian from times of war
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Of which we have not had one in years."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well we'll need a way to get around. This place seems to deal in horses.
<DeathStar> *walking toward the Guild, near several shops, some selling Earth stuff and Hapian stuff now, he opens the door*
<DeathStar> *Selena follows and walks in, peering around quietly and leans against the counter. The Guild has several adventurers gathering a map and the Guild clerk telling them the parameter of the mission and how much it will pay out before they exit*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon and Xan move along, Simon seems to be considering something as he walks.
<Seraphna> **Jaime listens, moving in with Selena**
<DeathStar> *the guild master for this guild peers up and grabs a map*
<DeathStar> <Guild Master> I'm guessing you're here for the monster attack
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods** Yep!
<Xanatos> <Simon> Yes, sir.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We would like to know what the Guild has discovered."
<DeathStar> <Guild Master> *he points at the map and the villages being attacked
<DeathStar> <Guild Master> This is the area being attacked. Being proof of the monsters' death and you'll be paid 100 coin and if you destroy the source of the monster attack you'll be paid 1000 coin. Priorty is saving the villagers though. So if you don't protect them you will not be paid

<Seraphna> Jaime> Any idea what direction they're coming from?
<DeathStar> <Guild Master> If it turns out to be something more like a Queen, you'll be paid more. Like a S rank. Assuming you defeat it.

<DeathStar> <Guild Master> No. Information is sarce right now. *He peers at Xanatos and hands him the current Guild missions (I need to update them since it's a new Act)

<DeathStar> *once he has them both on their horses, Gwen - an expert on horses - runs away*

<Seraphna> **Alita mounts and rides after the others, knowing her way around a mount**
<DeathStar> *Erevis comically follows, her horse ging all over the place*

<Seraphna> **Jaime falls back to help Erevis guide her horse** Gotta let it handle itself momma.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon nods to Id and moves forward.
<DeathStar> *Erevis - much like cars - has trouble driving*
<DeathStar> *Sylph floats along as Erevis nods*
<DeathStar> *the group rides along and within an hour they begin to approach a village. They see many dead monsters laying on the ground, dark black blood from some, green from others*
<DeathStar> *there are some adventurers laying about, bleeding and looking nearly dead around the village - so far no villagers lay dead out in sight*
<DeathStar> *Erevis rides a bit more confidentally as Gwen peers about and rides closer to town*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Alita, save thjose that can be saved. We'll need every swordhand."
<Seraphna> **Alita slows and starts to heal some of those who are still alive**
<Xanatos> <Simon> I will work on healing the adventures with Alita. 6* He redirects his horse to do just that.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Where are the villagers? Did they have some safe place to retreat too?
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Let us hope so.
<DeathStar> *Gwen rides into town here many adventurers are protecting a large building, several protecting a building. some others are cleaning up monsters in town - there seems to be a mix of monsters. Slimes, flying monsters that look almost Lilin like, and monsters with tendril that grab at adventurers, trying to pull them in and yank their armor off to stab them*
<DeathStar> *Gwen leaps off his horse and slashes one flying monster nad lands, serious as he cleans his sword*
<DeathStar> *Alita heals those who can and they slowly rise, shakily. Simon would see a slime approaching another near death, about to absorb them*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *dismounts, drawing her sword*
<DeathStar> *Selena climbs off slowly and pats her horse away whle Erevis circles in place trying to get off*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan finds himself alone on the horse and blinks the rolls off of it hitting the ground weird and rolling a few times before righting himself on his knee, his pistol is already out in his hands and he begins to take shots at enemies as he backs up towards the larghe building.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC stops her horse and gets off. She then brings up her rifle and begins firing at the flying on es
<Xanatos> 6* Simon pauses and leaps forward his spear giving off a frost effect as he stabs forward to try to freeze the slime.
<Seraphna> **Jaime hops off her horse and summons Gnome.** We've got people to protect my love.
<DeathStar> *the adventures near the building pull Xanatos to safety; Gnome appears and Sylph lands beside her; SpoC drops the flying one. The monsters left in the city see the new group and begin to leave the city for now, leaving*
<DeathStar> *heading out the west side*
<DeathStar> *the slime freezes and breaks apart*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "They weren't prepars for reinforcements. They are retreatign Westward."
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... Man. *she leans against a wall, eyeing a few dead adventures. And looks at the monster corpses in the village*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon immediately begins to heal the downed man that he saved.
<Seraphna> **Jaime starts forming a fortification around the city** That'll be where the source is, most likely.
<DeathStar> *Erevis finally gets off and moves over to the others*

<DeathStar> <Adventurer> They came for the people - either to eat them or use them to make more monsters. We think we stopped them from getting too many
<Seraphna> Jaime> I can form a wall around the village that will help against the next wave.
<ChadWinters> <Id> Hmmm. 6He scans the area a bit, taking in the monsters data and the directions they're retreating in

<DeathStar> *Selena kneels with Lana* Unusual for different types to work together - I think

<Seraphna> ALita> The coordination is a bad sign, it means there's likely a powerful controlling force.

<DeathStar> *the data shows it's closely related to the Lilin, the flying type. The other type seems to be close to half tentacle beast, half something unknown and slime*

<Seraphna> ** Jaime keeps shoring up a defense with Gnome. Basically slowly converting the village into a small fort town**
<DeathStar> *Selena walks - surprisingly quietly like she was trained - to the west. Gwen does the same - despite all his cutting up - he seems to be really good at this type of thing*

<Xanatos> 6* Simon steps up to the group, having helped the adventures gather up those that couldn't be saved.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *nods and go with the advanace party to hunt the monsters*
<DeathStar> *Gnome works with her and Sylph keeps an eye on the other team*
<ChadWinters> <Id> These creatures shouldn't be alive right now in theory.

<Seraphna> **Jaime forms an outer wall with only two gates, and forms spikes along the outside bottom of the wall so monsters trying to charge it will have to take damage to even get close**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I recognize some of these structures from... well... you. But its like they've been put into a blender."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon walks along, observing what they've already noticed.

<DeathStar> *the walking team soon reaches a cave that seems to have been made recently, having risen out of the ground*

<DeathStar> <Gwen> The tunnel could open somewhere else if we do that
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I think it wants to take you apart and build one of these things, Alita."

<DeathStar> *Erevis studies Alita, peering westward*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan sends Erevis a message about what they found and that they're going in. Then pulls his beam saber out too and walks on in, activating it and using it as light.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Yes. In we go then."
<Seraphna> **Alita shivers, looking at them, then Westward again, gripping her staff**

<ChadWinters> 6SPoC brings her rifle up as she walks in
<Seraphna> **Alita moves for a horse, hopping on**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Stop right there!" *goes after Alita*

<DeathStar> *as the other team goes down the tunnel, it is super dark. Selena reaches for a torch*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Jaime! Stop Alita! She's bewitched!" "Thinks a moment* "...ok, it does soudn silly when I say it."
<Seraphna> **Jaime looks over hearing the horse coming, she moves to seal the gate**
<Seraphna> **Alita looks up, hurling fire at whatever is trying to stop her from riding away from above**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *keeps a hand on the grip of her sword as they descend*
<DeathStar> *Selena holds the torch out and it's a long tunnel - and feels wet and sticky, like mucus. Almost like am outh*
<Seraphna> **Alita blinks again and leaps on the back of her horse, looking at the thing and seems to try to be getting to it now**
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Ew. *he eyes the walls. However before he can comment further they would hear voices and a light further down*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Someone shoot that thing!?
<DeathStar> <Selena> *whispers* Voices?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Shhhh..."
<DeathStar> *the voice can't be made out - they have to get closer to the light source up ahead in the tunnel*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan pauses at that and nods motioning for her to put out the light, he deactivates his beam saber too and begins to advance slowly.
<DeathStar> *Selena does so, putting them in pitch black outside the light up ahead*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon rides after Alita, furthur behind since he had to go retrieve his horse.
<DeathStar> *the creature swoops to nab Alita, grabbing her hands and begins to go over the wall, a little low*
<DeathStar> <Gnome> ... *holds up her hand*
<DeathStar> *and throws a boulder*
<Seraphna> **Jaime fumbles for her gun, Alita seems to be letting it take her**
<DeathStar> *the boulder hits the creature and smashes it and Alita drops* <Gnome> Uh oh..
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhhh!" *runs off to catch Alita without thinking it through*
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC brings up her gun, letting her eyes adjust to the darkness
<DeathStar> *somehow Lana manages to tackle grab Alita, both rolling against Jaime*
<Seraphna> **Alita looks confused as she finds herself in midair and starts to fall, Jaime squeaking when Lana and Alita pile onto her**
<Xanatos> 6* Simon slows to a trot, peering at the 3 women cautiously.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "....oiii...this was abad idea..."
<Seraphna> **Jaime mumbles** Well... she's saved?
<DeathStar> *the others reach a huge cavern, that seems much bigger than the tunnel, where they see a huge slime - bigger than a building and a bunch of monsters of all sorts facing an orb. It looks ancient*
<Seraphna> Alita> What happened...?
<DeathStar> *and a voice is coming out of it. It sounds crackling and dark, like it barely talks* The Monster Lord... is not pleased... She says you draw attention to us... with this attack. We must be subtle with out movements. If we wish to rise up in the world
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...you were... bewitched..."
<Seraphna> Alita> Huh... I still feel it... back of my head... but it's not calling anymore.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Damn... and I thought the Plant Queen's pheramones were a problem.
<Xanatos> 6* Xan pulls out his datapad to records as much of the conversation as possible.
<DeathStar> <Selena> *narrows her eyes as the voice chides them and tells them to becareful of the Guild and the Alliance and the monsters seem to obey - the orb goes a dark and some tentacle monster grabs it with it's tentacles*
<Xanatos> <Simon> It could be a ruse so that she can flee as soon as she is free of your clutches. 6* He tells Lana and Jaime.
<DeathStar> *The huge slime turns and begins to move, absorbing the earth, and the monsters follow - the ground and whatnot melting as it slides along - moving away from the town*
<DeathStar> *the huge cavern likely made by it*
<Seraphna> Alita> Not a ruse, but it could easily pull me along again... so caution is appreciated.
<Xanatos> 6* Xan counts the numbers of monsters present.
<DeathStar> *Erevis pats Alita's head*
<Seraphna> Jaime> It must be the monster parts of her.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *moves and then promptly sits on Alita* "There, safe."
<Seraphna> **Alita squeaks**
<ChadWinters> <Id> Perhaps we should detain her.
<DeathStar> *50 right now, 51 with the huge slime*
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC glances at Xan then the monsters.
<DeathStar> *the monsters ebgin to split up in the tunnels as the slime gets further away in the darkness*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Can I make a light? With that orb off I can't see...
<DeathStar> *she whispers*
<DeathStar> *she doesn't sound like she likes the pure dark*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *whisper* "...wait..." *strains to listen for the sound of the monsters to disappear*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan shakes his head to the others, they're far outnumbered.
<DeathStar> *they seem to be gettin further away --- further --- slide dissolve slide dissolve - the monsters likely splitting up in the tunnels as they leave until silence*
<Xanatos> <Xan> So they're being organized. 6* He says finally, voice still low.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Should be safe now."
<DeathStar> *Selena makes a new torch and sighs in relief*
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC eyes Selena then Xan. 1"Can you tell if they took that orb with them? 6She whispers
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "It was being carried by a tentacled creature."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> It sounds like that. A Monster Lord? That's a new one. I've heard of queens.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> That would explain why they've become so organized.
<Xanatos> <Xan> I recorded as much as I could. But we at least know what we're working with. It's not random at all.
<DeathStar> <Selena> A Monster Lord unhappy with attacks with no purpose... That makes no sense
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I suspect that this 'Monmster Lord' is not who the monsters believe it to be."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> or attacks that draw attention. It might be waiting until they are strong enough to roll over us
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I suspect the voice was a queen.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Let's get back to the others, spread word to the alliance to look for similar tunnels.
<DeathStar> *Selena touches the squishy ground, then begins to work her way back*
<DeathStar> <Selena> That huge slime is going to be a problem
<Seraphna> **Alita grumbles at being sat on**
<DeathStar> <Selena> It can dissolve armor and weapons in seconds
<Seraphna> Jaime> Anyway... I'm gonna finish the walls.

<DeathStar> <Lumi> Since not every appearance by a large group was an attack. Some people reported the monsters there and moving about doing stuff then leaving
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The 'Monster Lord' did not seem pelased by the attack."
<Xanatos> <Simon> The slimes creating tunnels is very trouble, it could destablized the landscape.

<DeathStar> *Lumi leans back* Hm. I'll keep looking into it. And yes. We'll need to look into that. I guess Jaime and Gnome are our experts so you can work with them Simon
