<DeathStar> <Shinobu> There was probably more back then but the Ancients were not threatened by them due to their strength.
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> Monsters simply attacked what they could - even if it was each other. And evolved over time. Or maybe it was Ancients experimenting on them that helped evolve them into Daemons. I'm not sure. In the hopes that Daemons could control monsters

<DeathStar> <Shinobu> If you notice, we Daemons are only a few. There's some lower Daemons who could practically be considered monsters - but the key difference is they can talk and work in society - and us higher Daemons who look like me and Rain

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Is there anything on the origin of the monsters at all? And why didn't the Ancients simply wipe them out? Have any modern Daemons attempted to control the monsters?"

Or this "Monster Lord" you wrote down in your notes. I do not know. But monsters simply grow stronger. They have no notion of society or working together with others. Reproduce, eat, devour, continue

<DeathStar> <Rain> As for the organs. Monsters take people and eat them or reproduce with their pray to get stronger. You likely came across a Lilin/Harpy monster maybe. Basically, ... Well,. *she gestures as if to get her point across. Either the monster ate the Lilin, or did something worse*

<DeathStar> *Shinobu muses* IF the monsters are trying to raise an army I do wonder if they will try to prey on Daemons. I will need to send guards to the outer cities

<Xanatos> <Simon> I'm worried. Daemons have long dealt with prejudices from the other kingdoms. I worry this situation may rekindle that simple due to the closeness of your kind. Regardless I will do what I can to try and resolve this quickly so that any sort of negative impact on you and your people is minimized.
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> Thank you. The longer it does go on, the worse it will be. Especially monsters that look closely like us
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Is there anything that the Alliance can do to assist?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Maybe we can lend troops that are resistant to the monsters.
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> For now, we will try to handle this area ourselves. If the Alliance came here to help out, I think it might be worse. Seeing Daemons and monsters it might be worse

<Seraphna> Jaime> I’m interested in what you hear. We had a woman who wore that tune for decades and never heard anything... it’s simply interesting.

<DeathStar> *the carriage flies and a few hours later, they are the winged city*
<DeathStar> Winged City is known as such because of the wings on Lilin as well as Daemon who can fly. Built on the Daemon Grasslands, which is filled with roaming monsters and strange plant life that can attack passerbyers, the Lilin, in order to protect themselves, built their city on an inclined heights, along a series of rocks, sometimes several meters apart. For the Lilin, who, for a few can fly, and most can glide, this just meant gliding across to the next part of the city, this was ideal, they began to construct the city there. The Winged City is a beautiful city in the grasslands, with the twilight, beautiful purple sky above and grasslands with the glowing plants and trees down below.
<DeathStar> The buildings, built to look asetically pleasing and wonderful to look at, are spread out across as series of cliffs and rocks, many one story to 10 stories tall, in various colors and statues built along them. Being sex Daemons, they have opened various harems. Because there are so many various Lilin Clans, the Clans each have their various markets, and the City is divided into the Clans' territory, and the City's color zones detonate which Clan owns which. The richest Clan, the Lilin Qui, colored purple, own a good chunk of the best sex harems and Red Light type Districts, with any sorts of races - having humans, werebeasts, Fauna, and so on - from ages of 10 to 50 to meet any sort of appeal. Each Clan, the colors being purple, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and so on.

<Xanatos> 6* Bix walks towards the edge and kneels to look down, particularly staring at monsters.
<DeathStar> *the monsters are made up of slimes, giant strange wolves, rock monsters, and a mixture*
<Seraphna> **Alita nods and starts leading the way to her parents home**
<DeathStar> *as Alita walks along, she would feel the faint tingling like a song of compulsion in the back of her head calling her in the city to head a certain way*
<ChadWinters> <Id> Perhaps it would be best to exterminate them all to protect this area.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix takes a few steps back, eyes set.
<DeathStar> *Selena peers about as they move and Gwen muses* <Gwen> Bad idea maybe; more would come and they would be agitated
<Seraphna> **Alita frowns, pausing to look around** I’m starting to hear it again.
<DeathStar> <Selena> *peers at Alita* That means thta...harpy type monster is nearby in the city, doesn't it?
<Seraphna> **Alita nods** Or another connected to it.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon pauses and places a hand on BIX's shoudler, shaking his head. The two then move on after the group.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Most likely. We may have to act."
<Seraphna> **Alita motions** That way.
<DeathStar> *as they move along they would see a few missing people's signs - not a lot to make it a crisis. Looks like 3 people*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Alita, may I scan you while you feel the song?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> I wonder if the capital had any people missing. <Gwen> I wonder if every city raided had people missing...
<Seraphna> Alita> I think they’ve been calling them subtly... sure...
<DeathStar> *Alita as she leads them would begin to act more and more odd*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *bring sup her PAN and then weaves a spell over Alita* "Recording now... I hope I can create a counter-signal."
<Seraphna> **Alita murmurs and shakes her head as they get closer** Don’t... let me run...
<DeathStar> <Selena> Is this a good idea? Alita might fall under the sway of it.
<ChadWinters> 6Id glances at Lana then Alita and begins to scan her
<Seraphna> Jaime> I’ll trap her if we lose her.
<ChadWinters> <Id> I am confident that everyone here can neutralize Alita if things go that way
<Seraphna> **Alita suddenly makes a break for the downtown area**
<DeathStar> *Gwen jerks and follows*
<DeathStar> <Selena> There she goes!!
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "After her!"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *takes off at a run*
<DeathStar> *a scooby doo style chase begins*
<Xanatos> 6* Both BIX and Simon take off running after her.
<Seraphna> **Jaime grumbles and tries to create foot traps as Alita spreads her wings and tries to get above ground**

<DeathStar> *they soon reach an area with storage buildings*
<Seraphna> **Talia looks grim, waiting in case they lose her**
<DeathStar> *Alita suddenly would dive out of the air behind a building and out of sight*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Behind there
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *nods and draws her sword as she ehads behind the building*
<DeathStar> *Lana's PAN beeps as she gets a full scan of the song, but no counter yet*
<DeathStar> *they see a hole into the ground*
<DeathStar> *Alita floating down into the hole, fading into the darkness*
<Seraphna> **Talia teleports after her but stays in kitten mode to not be obvious**
<ChadWinters> <Id> Is there any reason why she would be wanted so badly?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> What she knows, her body, queen of shit?
<Xanatos> 6* Bix leaps for the hole, diving down after her.
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns and starts to head down after her** She is a powerful Lilin.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I have the song... working on a coutnersong..."
<DeathStar> *the two comically fall past her - they would now realize their mistake*
<DeathStar> *it's a literal drop*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...they do realize there aren't any stairs, right?"
<DeathStar> *it was designed for Lilin to float down*
<ChadWinters> 6Id floats down the hole
<Xanatos> 6* Bix grabs Jaime and throws her back up towards Alita. Then fire blasts himself towards the side to catch himself.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Oh shit! Jaime - Bix!
<Seraphna> **Jaime reaches out to the nearby wall and starts to glide along the wall, slowing her decent**
<Seraphna> **Jaime makes a ledge for them**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I'm listening for any ideas."
<DeathStar> *the two manage to stop themselves as Alita floats and catches up; they would see the ground, thanks to the fire from Bix, a bit down. It seems the slimes made it and there's a tunnel down in the mountain*
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... hold on
<DeathStar> *she begins to srip out of her princess dress*
<DeathStar> *soon in her undergarments*
<ChadWinters> 6Id passes by Bix and Jaime. 1"She is getting away."
<Seraphna> **Jaime touches the wall and starts sliding along it in a spiral down**
<Xanatos> 6* BIX glows red as the blue lines in his plating shift in hue. He leaps again, using his blast just before hitting the ground to land safely.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *raises a brow at that*
<DeathStar> *Selena summons Aska - or what remains of Aska's powers. Soon she will need to summon her kid. And join fuses with her and flies down*
<DeathStar> *glowing in her half-spirit form*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Just Stone-Skating.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...ahhh... its been a long time since I have done that myself..."
<DeathStar> *Selena grabs Alita and anyone else who needs it and lands, letting Aska go incase anyone else needs it*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Well I see I wasn't needed...
<DeathStar> *she eyes the others*
<Seraphna> Jaime> You know, you look awesome in that form.
<Xanatos> 6* BIX beams, and moves to help restrain Alita.
<DeathStar> *Selena flusters. At that moment a harpyish creature floats over to claim Alita and jerks at seeing all of them. The monster pauses, then begins to leave down the tunnel*
<ChadWinters> <Id> There. I believe that is the casue of Alita's problem
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Alright." *tries to some an aspect of Aska to do the same as Selena*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX whips his head around and takes off running after it, letting Alita go, but Selena still had her.
<DeathStar> <Selena> It seems this monster lured the others down the hole and led them down this tunnel. *Aska carries Sasha down to the bottom*
<Seraphna> **Jaime skates along the ground after it**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *grabs hold of Sasha as she ehads down*
<Seraphna> **Talia turns into a girl and wraps around Alita to keep her slowed**
<Xanatos> 6* Simon rides down with Sasha.
<DeathStar> *Selena nods to Talia and follows. The monster doesn't seem to pay attention it's followed, showing a lack of intelligence. Aska drops everyone at the borrom, as they follow. They soon reach a large area where they see where the girls were once held - a stick substance to hold them but they are no longer there. But no signs the monster ate them.*
<DeathStar> *the tunnel goes into a + and it shows sign this tunnel likely goes further off into other places, perhaps into other cities*
<DeathStar> *the monster bounces, trying to head off to the left path*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The same as before... a tunnel network. And the monster is heading that way."
<DeathStar> *Selena kneels, touching the sticky substance* Hm
<ChadWinters> <Id> Should we cut it off or continue to follow it?
<Xanatos> 6* Bix uses a rocket boost to try and bridge the distance between him and the harpy, attempting to tackle it.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "What is it?" *looks at the sticky substance*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Ick... slime?
<DeathStar> *the moment it's tackled, Alita is freed*
<DeathStar> *the connection broken - for now*
<DeathStar> *the Queen or whatever likely still has it's tendrils*
<Seraphna> **Alita blinks** Huh? Where....
<DeathStar> *the harpy flaps, trying to get free, not interested in Bix*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix tries to pin it's wings so it can't fly away.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Well, maybe the slimes did something to the girls. But I don't think they were killed. So the 3 Lilins must be alive*
<Seraphna> **Jaime forms a rock restraint around it**
<DeathStar> *the Harpy is captured and soon tires itself out*
<Seraphna> Alita> I would say... used for sex.
<DeathStar> <Selena> They might be used for other things. Like, waitresses
<DeathStar> >Selena> An army needs slaves
<ChadWinters> <Id> ...Why is that sex is the first thing you're brain goes to?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> She is a Lilin
<Seraphna> Alita> Because they are Lilin. If you need slaves for basic use you don’t use such an elaborate plan.

<Seraphna> Alita> Is that robot waterproof?
<Xanatos> <Simon> ...how much intelligence is here? Are we even able to interrogate it?
<DeathStar> *the harpy makes angry noises*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "It seems to lack intelligence, so inerrogation is out of the question. Its primitive mind may still have memories of what it has seena nd heard though.

<Xanatos> <Simon> It would appear so....the carriage ride back is going to be very unpleasant.
<Seraphna> Alita> So I should not align my thinking to you as a scrap bucket?

<DeathStar> *2 days later-
<DeathStar> *Celes eyes the team as they return back, the carriage covered in harpy feathers*
<DeathStar> *Selena steps out, her hair a mess, and looking royally pissed*
<Xanatos> <Simon> .....it was worse than I imagined. 6* He says as he steps out.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...we should have used the ship..."
<DeathStar> <Selena> .... Not a word, mother. Tell Mother Liana that adventuring is mor annoying than she told me
<DeathStar> *she storms off to the manor*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Sister, we have a prisoner whose mind needs to be probed."
<DeathStar> *Celes turns to peer back at the harpy trying to flap away and smashing into the ground, and sending more stuff flying*
<DeathStar> <Celes> I am glad you added mind to that sentence, my loving sister...
<DeathStar> <Celes> *lets out a breath and has guards grab the harpy and drag it off*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "On the plus side, I am close to creating a countersong to the harpy song."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> *exits and spits out stuff
<ChadWinters> <Id> That would be usefull for Alita.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> ... I believe I will not eat chicken for a month
<DeathStar> *Gwen wobbles off*
<Seraphna> Talia> Fish is superior.
<Xanatos> 6* BIX sits on the front of the carriage happily.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "And the Daemons as a whole."
<DeathStar> *Selena pokes her head out* Burn the carriage please! I'll use my allowance to buy a new one. Thta thing now smells. I will get a new one that BIX can drive more easily
<DeathStar> *Selena sticks her head back in*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX stands up on top of it and gives a laugh as he emits flame from his hands.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...I think we can get away with stripping down the interior..."
<Xanatos> 6* BIX slumps, looking dejected.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I think BIX is too happy with the idea of burning..
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Do you really want to take that away from him?
<ChadWinters> <Id> I believe he has been cooped up too long
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...we totally should not indulge this aspect of his personality!"
<Xanatos> <Simon> I need a bath. 6* He steps off, holding a hand to his face.
<DeathStar> *Gwen motions* She gave you permission
<ChadWinters> <Id> I believe we should. I am curious as to how he will react
<DeathStar> *Gwen pulls Lana and Talia along* Come on, bath. Fish.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ohhhh!" *blush*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix perks up and hops off the top and steps into the carriage...then it erupts in flame. As it burns away he stands there in a pose with his fists on his hips.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "BIX, clean up the mess." *turns, braid swirling behind her, bits of feathers poking out from the woven hair*
<Seraphna> *Talia cheers!**
<Xanatos> 6* BIX salutes and runs off to get cleaning supplies.
