<ChadWinters> 6SPoC tilts her head slightly at the tunnel system. 1"I wonder if they plan on using it still considering we know it's there now

<Jackieness> <Lana> "And since the Slime Queen is gone now, they can'yt expand the network."
<Xanatos`> <Xan> Yet another moment I wish we had a satellite in orbit around this planet. We could do geothermal scanning.

<DeathStar> *Gwen flips through what they do have* It seems to me a lot of the information we have is from this Guild organization since they are out in the field. I mean, the Peacekeepers's reports account for a decent amount, too, but the Guild's data here has a lot of information too.
<Xanatos`> <Xan> We could give them a call. But re-tasking a satellite isn't cheap and it may not work well with the planet. So...above my pay grade to make that call.

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Well, yeah. The guild aren't exactly investigators, but they're sending people to trouble spots as quickly as they can, so they have an ear to the ground... so to speak."

<DeathStar> *Selena quietly eyes papers* Well, their job is to take requests and send people out to do jobs for the common people. And offer rewards for proof of job complete.

<Xanatos`> <Simon> Their actions are admirable, if a bit too violent for my tastes.

<Xanatos`> <Simon> I prefer diplomacy. Though I admit there is little of that when it comes to monsters. 6* He says after a moment of thought.

<Xanatos`> <Xan> I can fly my ship up and get some scans, see how readable they are. If that doesn't work then we won't have to waste time and money on a satellite.

<Xanatos`> 6* Xan moves to step out to do his test scans in the shuttle, he pauses at Asha being there and steps aside for her.

<Xanatos`> <Xan> Just planning and prep, they're right in there. 6* He steps out after she comes in.

<Alicia> *Asha steps in, a little surprised, but taking it all in her stride. She wasn't even aware there was something to prep for yet.

<Xanatos`> <Simon> Hm? Perhaps not, classes are interspersed throughout the day.

<Alicia> <Asha> What's the mission? *She obviously doesn't know what's going on, but she'll learn. It's what academys are for, after all.
<DeathStar> *the tiny wind spirit and the tiny ice sprit seem to be having a tea party on the table*

<DeathStar> <Gwen> *he sets down the reports* Xanatos is going into space it seems while I'm eyeing these papers. *he taps the stack from the Peacekeeper, and the other stack from the Guild, and one from the Daemons - aka the Dark Lands*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh... yeah... sorry, just getting twitchy."
<DeathStar> *Gwen hands her some papers to go through*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> This report from the Guild stated that some daemons were seen stealing what appeared to be supplies of plants, seeds and other growing material as well as chickens and animals
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Hmmm..." *mutter* "...way to go scatter-brain Lana..."
<Alicia> *Asha nods in understanding. "It's easy to want to get to the bits that feel important, but hard to remember that the little things are important too."
<DeathStar> *she marks a city in the Amazon territory*
<Xanatos`> <Simon> That makes sense. They have a whole army that they would need to feed.
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon is glancing through peacekeeper papers.
<DeathStar> <Selena> This report from the Daemons is more stuff on the differences and similarities between monsters and Daemons
<DeathStar> *Selena pins it for Lana and Alita*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Huh..." *looks at that one*
<Seraphna> **Alita sighs a bit, off put since getting mine controlled**
<Alicia> *Asha looks away, not liking the way that sounded, but not knowing enough to say anything against it
<DeathStar> <Celes> We will keep you away from the Harpy monsters
<DeathStar> *she assures Alita*
<Xanatos`> <Simon> Certain monsters can control their daemon counterparts. Alita was briefly controller earlier. 6* He quietly explains to Asha.
<DeathStar> *The Peacekeeper stuff seems to include basic stuff like their patrol routes, and one sighting of monsters in the patrol route on day 3 - the sighting includes a small group of monsters that vanished into the ground near a tunnel sighting that matches with a Guild report*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Well, that's... unsettling."
<Alicia> <Asha> "...how disturbing."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It is believed that Demons have some monster origins here and there. Cousins in a way. It is hard to explain
<DeathStar> <Erevis> But we believe that can go both ways. That the Daemons can also have some control on the monsters
<Seraphna> Alita> **perks up at that**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Gotta show them who is in charge.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Hmmmm... what if the monsters were made from Daemons... maybe the Ancients were trying to make mindless soldiers from the substance of the Daemons' ancestors."
<Alicia> *Asha moves to look at the report.
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon checks to see if the tunnel in the peacekeeper reports is already on the map, if not he adds it.
<DeathStar> <Celes> I would hate to speculate. But it is possible it could have been done by the renegade Ancients
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "But that... you would need more than common ancestry for something like that. That's a super strong connection."
<DeathStar> *the report is mainly going over various points of reference, etc, and showing what monsters are alike with what Daemons, and what monsters can affect what Daemons and vice versa. I'll go more into it later probably. It mainly comes down to willpower, the report says, and number. If the number of Daemons outnumbers the monsters, the Daemons will win*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "I hven't eactly tried doing any genetic sequencing to go beyond just speculation."
<DeathStar> *The two Prime spirits look confused at the tainted spirit comment while Sylph makes a face*
<Alicia> *Asha looks just as confused.
<DeathStar> *the two tiny Spirits whisper and peer at Sylph, as if saying they are not tainted and are better. Sylph hmphs*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Interesting. *she eyes a report*
<Xanatos`> <Simon> She is referring to the dark spirits that are out there. Fire, Water, and...Earth I believe?
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Yes. The original spirits that were corrupted

<DeathStar> *Erevis stands up and eyes a map*
<DeathStar> *peering at the report, and studies the map of Geyze*
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon watches Erevis curiously.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC looks over at Erevis
<DeathStar> <Erevis> This report states they saw an imposing figure with a lot of powerful monsters around them. *she turns the report around them - it is a drawing. The figure is a woman figure with a hood, with monsters like the Slime Queen, and a Plant Monster, massive with vines and spores, and a few other monsters, standing at the foot of a giant mountain.* According the report the person spied on them but could not get too close to hear and then fled when a monster noticed them. The idiot forgot to list where the meeting occured

<DeathStar> *Sylph meanwhile is frowning at being reminded of her dark counter parts

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Well... we know which office it came from, right? That should narrow down the mountains."

<DeathStar> <Erevis> The border between the Spiritalist Kingdom and the Legion Kingdom
<DeathStar> *during all this, Xanatos's comm to the group begins to crackle*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...that area is lousy with mountains."
<Seraphna> **Jaime blinks and picks up** Durran Airlines.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes. The Legion's Volcano and the Spiritalist's mountains. We might need to find our little scout
<Xanatos`> <Xan> *C* Okay the scanning option is a no go with the tech as it is. Maybe Simon and some others can retrofit something to include some sort of spirit tech scanner, but at a basic level it's just garbage readings.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Tell Xanatos he should have Simon put some spirit-tech on his shuttle
<DeathStar> *she tells Jaime. During this Celes thinks and steps out a moment*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mom thinks you should have Simon put spirit tech on your shuttle, and take me out for ice cream.

<Xanatos`> <Xan> *C* She really likes when we go out for ice cream, huh? I'll think about upgrading the shuttle...I finally got it where I want it.

<Xanatos`> 6* Simon is still staring at the drawing, trying to see if there's anything about the picture that looks like what he's seen of either location.

<DeathStar> <Sylph> Outside Aska, Shade, Void, and Chronos ... Me, Gnomie, Salamander, Brooke, and the others are not the original Spirits

<DeathStar> <Sylph> We were born after the Ancient War. The previous spirits were corrupted by dark Ancients.

<DeathStar> <Lumi> The Hapian Queen said you were about to go to a Guild to try to find a scout
<DeathStar> <Lumi> This is Shion's paperwork on the main guild as well as every smaller guild
<DeathStar> <Lumi> I haven't had time yet to go through it
<DeathStar> *Lumi shoves a huge stack aside - it has names and stuff written on it. It seems to be stuff signed by Shion acknowledging The Guild working with the Alliance as Lumi flips through the to the Spiritalist Kingdom Guilds*

<Xanatos`> <Simon> Paperwork is...necessary. 6* He reminds himself.
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Shion has it all signed so that whoever is running the Guild sound have payment sent to the Guilds to pay for all these ventures and keep it running

<Alicia> *Asha is just glad she's not the one doing the paperwork. How boring that would be.

<DeathStar> *Selena works on reading reports, peering up at Sasha*
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Here you go. *she pulls out the Spiritalist Guild at the border*

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The start of the school year has kept me busy... but I heard that Lumi brought you alot of the paperwork concerning the Guild."

<DeathStar> *Lumi hands the sheet of paper over to Simon* This has the paperwork

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I admit that I already went through some of the paperwork in my offtime."

<DeathStar> <Lumi> I guess I should go through some of this myself. *she grabs the huge stack and begins to wobble out*

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Mmmm..." *takes a seat* "...to the point where I stumbled upon a note from Shion that suggested a certain amount of confidence, so I put the rest aside."
<Seraphna> **Talia sets down a monster fish skeleton**
<DeathStar> <Erevis> *she sends Xanatos some information about where they are going* <Selena> I find it amazing myself. *she whispers to Nicolette*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> So I'm guessing we're going to this guild to ask about this scout?
<DeathStar> *he asks Simon*
<Xanatos`> <Simon> Indeed. Since Xanatos' shuttle is active we will use it once he arrives.
<DeathStar> *Gwen pats Lana and Talia's heads* So, you ready for your first real mission? *he asks Asha*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Hmmmm?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I consider any time we go to the Spiriralist Kingdom a real mission; that place is too damn cold
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC eyes the paperwork then over at Simon.
<Alicia> <Asha> "Yes! I guess it's good the last one wasn't a real mission, I wasn't any help there."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Oh right, I have to actually put on shoes for that place.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Be sure to dress warmly there
<Alicia> <Asha> "If you need any help lighting fires, just ask!"
<DeathStar> *Gwen thinks about that; the two small sprites hop under Nicolette's hat*

<DeathStar> *the group is soon on a snowy plain at the border between the Spiritalist Kingdom and the Legion Border; a small stoned fort of a village mainly*
<DeathStar> *Gwen is immediately lathargic*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Gwen, are you ok?"
<DeathStar> *the Guild is a small little building, a little pathtic to many Guild buildings, but is probably just right for this area*
<DeathStar> *Simon's paperwork looks half frozen*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I -hate- the cold
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon stands there in his normal clothes, bits of ice on his neck and arms he looks down at the paperwork and approaches the small building.
<DeathStar> *Selena marches along, her long black hair fluttering with snow and ice in it as she leaves Xanatos' shuttle behind. Erevis for her part spins in the cold and seems happy*
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> You should have a tact suit created for you to help with that. 6She notes to Gwen, adjusting her overcoat
<DeathStar> <Gwen> A what now?
<Seraphna> **Jaime fixes her “coat”, blinking a bit** It’s a bit chilly.
<Alicia> *Asha holds out her palm, creating a small flame in the middle, before realising she's not sure how to transfer the heat without burning things.
<Xanatos`> 6* Xan pulls his coat out of a storage area on the back of the shuttle and closes the ramp as he walks down and hops off of it.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *hugs on to Gwen* "I'll keep you warm!"
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC begins to explain what a tact suit is to Gwen
<Alicia> *Asha listens, having never heard of these 'tact suits' either.
<Ariel> * Nicolette is clad in a heavy, fur lined coat, but doesn't seem to mind the snow
<DeathStar> *Celes follows along as Gwen leans into Lana; Selena opens the Guildd door, which has a nice jingle sound. Simon would see names and whatnot on the paperwork. The top list shows who owns all the Guilds - the Head of the Guild Systems, though it's redacted on this paper (likely Lumi has the copy in her huge stack)
<DeathStar> *the name under under it is the name of this Guild, which lists is a boring name of something something Snow probably, because Cliches, and under that the names of his employees*
<DeathStar> *as they enter the Guild, it warms up and they can see on the wall the list of the jobs for this region*
<DeathStar> *Selena shakes her long hair and warms up and Gwen relaxes*
<Xanatos`> <Simon> Hello? 6* He calls out as he fully steps into the guild.
<Alicia> * Asha puts out the fire as she heads inside.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC looks around the interior of the Guild, studying the layout and then the jobs wall

<Xanatos`> 6* Xan stays outside and begins to build a snowman.
<DeathStar> *a large man steps out and waves* Hello! Come to do a job?
<DeathStar> *Erevis kneels and begins to help him*
<DeathStar> *Gwen looks around at the various weapons being displayed - most of them ice/snow based, though they are not very strong*
<Xanatos`> <Simon> Come to speak about one, actually. We're from the Alliance. 6* He shows the paperwork.
<Seraphna> **Jaime works on a Snow-Gnome**
<DeathStar> *the man takes it and looks it over; during this, the two sprites come out from under Nicolette's hat and floats around the store, getting into displays*
<DeathStar> <Guild Owner> Ah, I see. Of course. *he hands it back* What can I do for you?
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC moves up close to the weapons now, studying them over.
<Xanatos`> <Simon> We are investigating the monster threat, as I'm sure you know all about it. We came across a drawing and I was hoping the drawing was from a scouting report at this branch. 6* He shows it.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC moves over to Simon now. 1"We would like to talk to them. Get some more information."
<Seraphna> **Jaime keeps making her snow gnome bigger and bigger**
<Seraphna> **Talia turns into a kitten and explores**
<DeathStar> *the man looks at, squinting, then moves to open his books. His Guild book seems to have a name of who gave him his license to run the Guild, but at the angle Simon can't see it*
<DeathStar> <Man> Lets see. *He flips through the various jobs* Hm... hm...
<Alicia> * Asha waits, looking over various things.
<DeathStar> *As they look, they see trinkets and amulets for sale, potions, and other things*
<DeathStar> *Erevis nudges Xanatos and points at the Snow Gnome* She is showing off again
<DeathStar> <Man> I have it here. *he writes down something and hands it Simon*
<Xanatos`> <Xanatos> Sometimes I think she got our worst qualities. 6* He says, though his smile shows he's joking.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I have no no bad qualities. *she TK knocks him into the snow. Face first*
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon looks at the paper with the writing on it.

<DeathStar> *it has the scout's name and house address*
<Seraphna> **Jaime looks pleased as she makes a snow gnome monument**
<DeathStar> *it seems to be down the street*
<Alicia> * Asha blinks at Erevis. "... wow. I was not expecting that."
<Xanatos`> <Simon> Thank you very much. Your guild has been doing good work, I appreciate all that you do. 6* He bows his head and moves to step out.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> Well, it is just giving him what he wants. But very well
<Xanatos`> <Xan> That's dirty. 6* He says, opening his eyes and sitting up.

<Xanatos`> 6* Xanatos gives a thumbs up. Meanwhile Simon walks down the street towards the address he was given.

<DeathStar> *as they approach the house, something feels a little off. Even Erevis goes serious and stands up, approaching*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> *walks on, oblivious as they approach a little hut*

<DeathStar> *As Simon steps around into a living room area, he'd see tons of vines, moving and shifting, with a figure sitting in a chair. A plant girl is standing in the center, looking young - newly born maybe? And the man looks to have a lot of the vines coming from him.*

<DeathStar> *Gwen tries to sit up from the vines, the vines seeming to come from the the center of the room where the guy is located*

<Xanatos`> 6* Simon shifts and throws the spear, not for her, but for her path to cause her to stop.

<Alicia> * Asha heads in after Simon and the others, ready to act as backup

<ChadWinters> 6SPoC snaps her rifle towards Erevis/Man then relaxes somewhat when they step out.

<Xanatos`> <Simon> Wai-6* He stops as Talia uses the fire, knowing it'll probably hurt the plant girl.
<Alicia> * Asha nods, before launching a small bird shaped flame at the first point, before pausing at Simon's comment
<DeathStar> *the vines burn the plant girl panics at the fire, moving away from it. She REALLY doesn't like it. The fire begins to weaken the vines*
<Xanatos`> 6* Do the vines seem to be connected to the girl still, or no?
<DeathStar> *no she seems seperate right now*
<DeathStar> *likely having come out of the bigger vines*
<Alicia> <Asha> "Can you take her away from the fire?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime moves over to the girl to lead her away**
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon begins to chant and forms an ice wall between the others and himself/plant girl.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> That works.
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon then kneels, keeping his hands out wide to show he's no threat.
<Alicia> * Asha waits until the plant girl is far enough away before resuming firebirding the vines.
<Seraphna> **Jaime blinks, presumably with Simon and the Plant girl now**
<DeathStar> *as Asha burns the remaining larger vines coming from the man, Erevis and Selena pull and break the man free, and they carry him out into the snow and lay him in it. The monster plant girl seems to be tired near ice, likely ice/snow tires her a bit*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *monitors the man, checking to see if the vines have withered enough to start removing them*
<DeathStar> *the sits there to rest*

<DeathStar> <Selena> ...I'm still not sure how we'll fix her up enough. *The man seems to have a lot of vines still inside him. But at least he's not attached to the mass inside*

<Seraphna> **Talia does some more healing, Jaime very subtly getting some samples off the drowsy girl, laying a hand on her a moment**
<Xanatos`> 6* Simon beings to focus and slowly emits more and more of a cold aura out of himself, trying to make the girl fall asleep completely so they can restrain her.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> So what do we do with a plant monster?

<Ariel> * Nicolette stays with the man, holding off on calling upon the cards to heal his wounds until they can do something about the vines.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, we could bring her back, maybe find a way to communicate? I need some time to see what she can do.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> It would be useful I guess if we could talk monster
<Xanatos`> <Simon> Yes that is my plan. Perhaps we can find a middle ground or perhaps a way to counteract the control.

<Xanatos`> 6* Simon pulls restraints out and places on her before lifting her up, his spear and ice wall disappating as he does so.

<DeathStar> *Erevis muses and tries to TK help Lana. The cold seems to be helping with the vines, but it's slow and Talia's magik healing points will run out perhaps*
