<DeathStar> <Ymir> In a way. They were first created by CorSec before the corporations got their hands on them and began to mass produce them. CorSec made them for various reasons. Models I-V had no emotions and even though they looked almost fully human they were were limited. When the corporations got their hands on them they used them for various tasks. Sex workers, used for various work that was too hard for humans like contruction, mining, terraforming
<DeathStar> <Ymir> After that CorSec and the corporations worked on Mark VI that had limited emotions, and VII had more emotions up to Mark VIII that had perfected the Biotects to be like real people.

<DeathStar> <Ymir> Yes. She is a Mark X. She could probably even have kids. She was once human after all. *she pulls out the paperwork she was looking for* I was asked to look into Bix's head while you all were monster hunting
<DeathStar> <Ymir> And tapped her a little since she knows about these things
<DeathStar> <Ymir> From what little she sent me in the prelimary reports, the head here could or might not even be Bix's head. It's a Mark VIII. So either Bix got an upgrade, or it's another Biotect that looks like Bix. A really old Biotect that looks like Bix.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Hmmm... old enough to actually be a Mark VII, or older than it should be, and thus evidence of tiem travel?"
<ChadWinters`> <Id> If it looks like Bix then why does it seem to have his memories?

As they move about and walk about the citizens, moving along the areas, they soon reach the area of Sector 1's entertainment places and find lots of hotels, food places, and along the road a massive club*
<DeathStar> *Erevis smiles at him, holding his hand as they approach the club. The club would not look like a place you would find people who do cases - it is made up to be a drinking establishment with dancers and other entertainment inside as you enter. There is the bar, seating, and singers and dancers in the back, with stairs going up to the rooms up top*
<DeathStar> *Asarar is leaning against the bar in a black dress, talking to someone - it seems to be Caesune Guane about something.*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Hello Asarar. 6* He bows his head in greeting.
<Seraphna> **Luci is in a little pink dress, behaving much younger than she actually is as usual, sitting with a sunspot served in front of her**
<DeathStar> *Asarar turns to them* Simon. *she talks to a tall bartender, who nods to them and hands them all drinks. A mixture of alcoholic and non so they can choose*

<Xanatos> 6* Logan sits at the bar, slowly drinking from some type of whisky, he glances over at the group.

<DeathStar> *Gwen takes one and drinks it slowly, going for the alcoholic one. Selena pauses to see if Liana will suddenly materialize and reaches for an alcholic one*

<DeathStar> *and takes a seat nearby, holding her drink; she looks a little jittery at times, mouthing to herself at times, but other times looks eagle eyed sharp*

<DeathStar> *though she looks like Cypher's twin, there are differences. She seems to have a more toothy edge to her and a more impish nature to her, showing her teeth more when she smiles. While she waits for Nicolette's answer, she motions for Luci to take Bix's folder*

<DeathStar> <Asarar> It is mock a Mark VIII. It's not a normal Mark VIII. It's hard to put it into words. Without being able to examine the real Bix I can't tell you if it's him.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I hooked his head into a computer to try to get some information but there are safeguards. But I was able to get some information.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Where did we put BIX?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> He's probably guarding the Academy or on the PAX doing his job with Shion

<DeathStar> <Asarar> *tries to put it into words* It varies on the Mark number. The older Marks are more machine like
<DeathStar> <Asarar> The more advance become more flesh and blood
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Which would make it hard to access. Makes sense
<Xanatos> <Xan> Flesh and blood in a synthetic way? Or are they able to generate the cells to actually manifest real flesh and blood?

<Xanatos> <Xan> Well to be fair we're all just being controlled by the machine that is our brains. Yours may be different but being able to fleed and regenerate those cells is damn impressive.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> So the earlier Marks, it's probably less brain matter, and more machine. Until Mark I-VI which is just more machine

<DeathStar> <Asarar> Now your friend Bix is a Mark VI. This is a Mark VIII. If this is him, it would explain why it's a hodgepodge.

<Xanatos> <Simon> Did older Biotects have a designator like Bix does? He sometimes calls himself...Brigadoon 9 I believe. is that a designation similar to other you've heard?

<Seraphna> Jaime> Is that why we call him BIX?
<Xanatos> 6* Simon shrugs, not knowing the answer to either of those questions.

<DeathStar> <Asarar> Some people used Biotects as a design platform and made their own. Ymir is probably a better person to ask since her family made Biotects
<DeathStar> <Asarar> But lets say I wanted to make a Biotect
<ChadWinters`> <Id> It does. So it's very possible that could be the next version of Bix.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I could take my own designs as a baseline, and go from there and make changes.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> It sounds like Bix's creator did just that
<DeathStar> <Asarar> And from what I dug up, Bix is the ninth in his line
