<Sara> <Ellie> I've put together all of our information on the other spirits' appearances, and what we know... *she puts down a folder*
<Xanatos> <Simon> The existing portals should be investigated. However we do know that the spirit realm was a hidden planet that ourselves and Kumen used for very different reasons. If it still remains...it may be out there in a similar location to where it wasi nour world.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Out of curiosity, how aggressive have your people been looking to see if it still exists?

<Sara> <Ellie> It's a good idea. I mean, that's one of the places that was the most connected to the Spirit Realm before everything.

<Sara> <Ellie> That, of course, would be on Kumen, from what we've heard... I don't know much about Kumen even though I've been there a few times.
<Sara> <Chelsea> Well the city's a dump but the planet's nicer than it was, y'know...
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I imagine Kumen would be a good place to start. Easiest place for them to hide. Granted if they're actively on this planet, they also have a good place to hide.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Side note, but a big invisible planet surely would've been...crashed...into by now right? At least if it was close to Kumen and Geyze.

<Xanatos> <Simon> To me the spirit realm is more important. But if everyone believes we should investigate the spirits more I will certainly defer to the group.

<Sara> <Ellie> I feel the spirits are the priority. We don't know for certain that the Spirit Realm would lead us to answers that would help the other situation.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Plus it would be better to know what they’re doing if they’re bent on replacing ours.

<Sara> * Ellie looks over at her curiously at the words 'other self'
<ChadWinters`> <Id> They only seemed to know when they started making pacts. Unless we want to use them as radars.
<Sara> <Ellie> It's safe to say that our spirits can't simply detect or sense the 'other' from a distance.
<DeathStar> <Selena> I think maybe the same Spirit can with the other by getting a massive power loss.
<DeathStar> <Selena> But that is about it
<Alicia> <Asha> ...that feels like the worst way to detect things.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> A lot we don't know about them.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> It maybe possible for them to feel out for them if they try hard enough or know exactly what to feel for
<Seraphna> **Jaime sits and puts her feet up, barefoot** Gnome has no idea they were even here.
<Xanatos> <Simon> There are detection spells for various magicks that I could attempt to use to focus on earth-based. But if they are not using their power, or are masking it to hide...it would likely yield nothing. 6* He reasons aloud as he thinks.
<Sara> <Ellie> Besides, using all that power to find them -- that's not an acceptable cost, frankly, you know? We care about these spirits -- they are among our dearest friends, or for Jaime, Vyvy and myself, even more than that. We have to care for them.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> She wasn't actively looking for her counter-part nor were they trying to steal pacts
<Sara> <Ellie> *quietly* ...wonder where Vyvy is, anyway...

<ChadWinters`> <Id> We don't even know to how much 'power' they'd need to search for them. So it's a moot concern
<Xanatos> <Simon> Last I heard she was with Shade. Have they returned? Perhaps we shoudl go speak with them while we wait on Xanatos and Chelsea.

<Seraphna> Alita> I kind of think Erevis had the right idea learning more about them. I don’t see how finding them will be useful if we can’t reason with them.

<Sara> <Ellie> I wish we were just here for recreation, but we're gathering information on the 'corrupted' spirits. They came to the Academy making pacts. And frankly, I feel like they are broken and hurting, and no one deserves to be in that state.
<Seraphna> **Jaime walks over to sit with the younger ones, having a pact with them**
<Xanatos> 6* Simon glances to Ellie and listens, nodding at the broken and hurting part.
<Xanatos> <Simon> We simply want to resolve this as peacefully as possible, as I'm sure you understand.
<DeathStar> *Shade nods thoughtfully* Yes. Vyvy sensed them too and has been looking into it. She was always one for such causes.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Someone tried to have Void remove them in the past.

<Seraphna> Jaime> What did happen there? They seemed certain Alita would try it and says it was tried before.

<Sara> <Ellie> If I understood correctly, someone from Kumen told the other spirits that if they kill one of 'our' spirits, it will fix what is broken in them

<DeathStar> <Shade> The block is more like this for the rest of us. Picture something on the tip of your tongue. Some memory but if you try to focus on it, it will go away. But if you do not focus on it you might recall it. Her time rewind was like that - incomplete

<Sara> <Ellie> Troubling. Well, whatever happened to them, we want to find them and help them, or if we have no choice, stop them.

<DeathStar> <Shade> I am beginning to wonder about this one. You are saying a cult is manipulating them now

<Sara> <Ellie> That's speculation. But someone is telling them that if they kill one of 'our' spirits, they'll be healed. Is there any basis whatsoever for that?
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I don't know if it's a cult... but someone is."

<Seraphna> Jaime> They did tell us someone was instructing them.
<DeathStar> <Shade> ... ... Without the Spirit Realm.... Yes. The previous Spirits were the Spirits of this land. They have the same spirit wave lengths. It is feasible
<DeathStar> <Shade> If say the Corrupted Wind Spirit was to supplant Sylph here, she could take her remaining Wind Spirit for herself
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...ummm... what if their 'wavelengths' were tweaked a little?"
<Sara> <Ellie> Obviously, it's not something we can allow. But you're saying were something like that to happen, they would stop being insane? Why?
<DeathStar> <Shade> Spirits rely on two things. Belief in them and their own Spirit power.
<DeathStar> <Shade> Even if one wanes, the other might supplement them for a time.
<ChadWinters`> <SPoC> Well the lack of belief in them is starting to effect there sanity
<Xanatos> <Simon> Speaking of the spirit realm, you sought it out. Any information on that front? It would seem like finding and reestablishing that connection would solve the issues with the corrupted spirits?
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Is it really as easy as believing?"
<DeathStar> <Shade> I am not sure if it would fix their insanity, but it might help them. They are corrupted still. I would have to see them for myself but I have to assume their Spirit energy is nearly depleted.

<DeathStar> <Shade> They are probably nearly on the verge of vanishing

<Sara> <Ellie> Well, I'm not against them having followers if they behave, but the fact that it harms our current spirits is the problem...

As she begins to take her hand, suddenly she grabs her head in pain and howls and swings her hand, a wind whip appearing and it wraps it around Elyph and tries to do wind damage - doing zero damage*

<DeathStar> <Void> And I did not use my original ability on them exactly but in a battle with them in it.

<DeathStar> <Void> If the spirits owe the person for helping them figure it out, then the spirits owe them one maybe. Or maybe they are a good person in their eyes for telling them. Or perhaps simply they believe they are correct in their assessment and found no other way

<Seraphna> Alita> Also... what will happen to the Lightning Spirit with the new one already dead?
<DeathStar> <Void> Most likely he has taken the mantle already and is now storing up his spirit energy. They are all probably low. And dying
<DeathStar> <Void> The closer to death the more they will act on their insane nature

<DeathStar> <Void> A spirit is typically anchored when they are born to their location
<DeathStar> <Void> Kumen Spirits are unnatural to begin with - look what happened with them

<DeathStar> <Void> Brooke... Brooke was not so much attached but scattered and began to parasite on it.

<DeathStar> <Void> They are nearly wiped out as it is. IF you wish to destroy them at this state, I would not suggest it

<Seraphna> Alita> Yes... hrm... if there was some way to realign those cores... like channeling mana to a new conduit... I’ll have to think.
