While we never got a defintive group order, outside the Makas are on Team B, who we are focusing on today, so you can think on who you want to be on Team B. Team B has opted to deal with the Erusia Homeworld, while the other team is going to Madara Prime. (cont)

<Jackieness> 6* The estate grounds are overgrown and the palatial structure is practically crystalline rubble once they arrive.

<Jackieness> <Xeres> "Mmmmm... *moves through the ruined grand entry and then through a shattered corridor before descending down into underpinings of the main house* "This lower levels are still safe."

<Alicia> * Michiru heads down into the lower levels eagerly.
<DeathStar> *Sabrina follows her down, looking around worriedly*

<Jackieness> <Xeres> "Set up basecamp here. Next step is to identify our targets."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> That will be difficult. *she motions at Nicolette and Sabrina*
<Seraphna> **Thena nods and moves around** After all this we should make the place over!
<DeathStar> <Yuki> These two can maybe feel them out if they are close
<DeathStar> <Yuki> There are 7-8 left maybe
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I really hope the upper level is safe enough not to fall on us..."
<Xanatos> <Kellin> SO we have to figure out how to get them close.
<Alicia> <Michiru> "The lower level wouldn't be safe if it wasn't."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> We don't know how many are on this planet and are on the other planet.
<DeathStar> *Sabrina nods worriedly and sits, appearing at the others, not a good tactician*
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "This portion survived a bombardment without damage." *turns* "We're going to go into the city."

<Jackieness> <Xeres> "Reconnaisance. Identify our targets, then plan our assault. You cna call it sight-seeing if you like."
<Seraphna> Thena> We'll have to, you're the only one that doesn't stand out as a tourist.

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I'm a travelling performer. I'm at home anywhere!"
<DeathStar> *Yuki muses* Well, they would gather in places of power

<Seraphna> Thena> I'm the Princess of a supposed ally so we should be relatively okay...

<Jackieness> <Xeres> "We are within easy access of one of the two political centers of the Ascendancy. The... legislature meets here."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well, lets begin there. Maybe Nicolette can perform for them?
<DeathStar> *Yuki shrugs, not one for antics like Erica*
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *just stares at the suggestion*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> You got a better idea of hwo to get get close, lead the way
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "...while we do not get have many tourists... it would not be unheard of for visitors to tour the area."

<Alicia> <Hotaru> "Infiltration's not my speciality, so lets go with that."

<DeathStar> *as they near the entrance to get out, something feels off*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Performing for the assembly... that... might be a bit much. Like, I'm good, but that's world class or higher level."

<Xanatos> <Kellin> Infiltration is easy, just be confident that you belong wherever you are. 6* He stops behhind Xeres, squints and then feels it too and looks around.
<DeathStar> *the way out looks the same. Surely it's nothing*
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "Maka... sense your surroundings."
<DeathStar> *Sabrina turns to Nicolette* Remember, to try to sense a Hunter, we're looking for the Dark energy in them, or something... inside them that is off. Since we don't know the real person in them it makes it harder
<Ariel> * Nicolette pulls a card from her deck holding it in front of herself as she uses it to help focus.
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> So we need to try to look for things that feel dark or out of place
<DeathStar> *Sabrina focuses*
<Alicia> * Michiru focuses too. Can she detect anything? Who knows.
<Ariel> * Nicolette holds a hand out to stop the others, "...I think we were expected."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Great.
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "...so it seems... be ready."
<DeathStar> *Yuki peers at Michiru* If you're trying psionics, we've found that failed in the past. I'd look for something blank maybe
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Or something that can't be read
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Something is off maybe but unlike Nicolette I didn't detect anything definitive.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> *quietly* "I'm not sure what we're dealing with, but definitely a trap..."

<Jackieness> <Xeres> *nods and steps forward*
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin begins to hum 'Tiptoe through the window' as he forms a pistol in each hand, using his hypersense to feel out any energy fluctuations in a 30ft radius around him.
<DeathStar> *as Xeres begins to exit the lower level, she trips a wire that begins to explode the top level on top of them
<DeathStar> *that seems to be the trip Nicolette detected*
<DeathStar> *it seems the Hunter really went all out to dump the top level on them*
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *raises her hands and tries to use her TK to hold the mass up abov them* "NNnnnn... move!"
<Ariel> * Nicolette darts ahead now that it's clear, so she doesn't get squished.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin stops whistles and blinks, then runs as instructed, moving for the closest exit.
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Aai1 *she goes full magical girl otufit and flies forward, grabbing Yuki and Michiru and flies up as things begin to fall despite Xeres*
<Alicia> * Michiru is already ahead of Kellin somehow, moving for the exit herself.

<Alicia> * Hotaru pauses a moment, then moves. She's not going to be any use here.
<DeathStar> *as they reach the top level, an assassin steps out and begins to tackle them in the crumbling building, attacking*
<DeathStar> *knocking Sabrina down with a slash and bouncing her along the floor *
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Shit shit shit
<Alicia> * Hotaru summons her scythe, moving to intercept the assassin
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *with effort leaps forward as she releases her TK. She forms ehr warp blade and slashes at the assassin as she sails at them*
<Seraphna> **Thena teleports behind the assassin and strikes with a Hyperfist**
<DeathStar> *the Assassin is slashed and hit by the attacks; despite this, it seems he's not without more surprises, an explosion knocking some of the rubble on the ground level and throwing it at Thena and knocking her skyhigh comedically*
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "We have no time to play with this one. Outside now!"
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin moves to pull Sabrina up and out of danger.
<Alicia> <Michiru> "Are you okay?" *follows Kellin and Sabrina*
<Seraphna> **Thena teleports outside and to safe ground, while Si leaps away**
<DeathStar> *The Hunter rises, bleeding dark blood and Sabrina stumbles up and leans on Kellin as it explodes more things to send stuff flying at them. Yuki puts her gloves on and dashes away*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Just how much prep time did this guy have?!" She pulls her deck and lets her outfit transform in a wave of magic.
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *turns and TK shoves everyone not movign out the door before dashing to escape herself*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Too much, TOO much
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin fire a few hyperspace pistol shots for the hunter.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "Is it alright to just leave him here?"
<DeathStar> *Yuki turns to face and waits for the Hunter at a safe distance* No. We'll deal with him on our terms
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "No, he must die now. However, we cnanot let him decide the battlefield."
<DeathStar> *the hyperspace shots burn through the Hunter and it seems to massive damage as he emerges after them. He roars and leaps high into the air*
<DeathStar> *Sabrina shakes herself and recovers*
<Ariel> * Nicolette pulls one of her cards, and reveals "The Fallen". Chains of energy leap out of the ground and attempt to shackle the hunter.
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *focuses and collapses a Singularity right into the Hunter's flight path*
<Alicia> * Hotaru readies herself to strike once the hunter comes down.
<Seraphna> **Thena forms three motres and concentrates them, as he comes down, she fires her Hyper Blast at him** Bad Hunter!
<DeathStar> *The Hunter is shackled before doing a massive ground smash to knock them all away and a singularity blasts it, stripping it of most of it's black mass. Hotaru's strike then does in of most of it's life when Thena then does it in. It then begins to dissolve into nothing*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I think we're getting better...
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "Nice teamwork."
<Seraphna> Thena> Go team Thena!
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "We must have had a mole. We need to expedite our schedule then."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I suppose that's more likely than him waiting here, with his traps, for years in hope that we show up."
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Wow. You all are very strong. I picked the right team to join.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well, we did encounter one before coming here, so Nicolette is probably right - he was likely just waiting

<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Kind of sad to just wait day in and day out for someone to show maybe..
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "No sense navel-gazing over it. The faster we move, the less likely they are to react effectively." *nods rthen heads out toward town*
<DeathStar> *Sabrina holds her side, her magical armor barely protecting her skin as they head in*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Are they... people? The ones we've seen have been much more like... constructs for a purpose, than actual individuals."
<Seraphna> Thena> Hunters were made for a purpose and live for that purpose. Unlike the others who are adapting to new lives.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> The Shapeshifters are people, but the Hunters seem to be... I don't know. They are like high level Shapeshifters. But are more...
<DeathStar> <Yuki> They'll even kill other Shapeshifters if it'll mean keeping their identity
<DeathStar> <Yuki> They are made to hide and adapt and take over
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "So like... non-contagious zombies of the shifters. Got it."
<Seraphna> Thena> They are probably more Dark One than the other shifters.
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "One wonders if they would be willing to wipe out their own people just to continue their shadow war."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well, from what I understand, the Shifters just wanted a place like Earth, being part Human once. These Hunters seem to be more Dark One than Human
<Xanatos> <Kellin> That's good, no regret wiping them out.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "... I actually wouldn't be surprised if they'd be willing to, then..." * She sounds sad saying this
<Seraphna> **Thena huffs a little**
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Well, if they would just talk instead of attacking... But they seem to think they can take over the governments...
<Jackieness> 6* They approach the political center od the worl, and by extension, of the Erus Ascendancy. Crystalline domes and spires spread out like a crystalline sea.
<Ariel> * Nicolette's eyes twinkle as she admires the archtecture

<DeathStar> <Yuki> It looks a little like Centerpoint did before it was destroyed and became that tree
<Alicia> <Hotaru> It does.

<DeathStar> *Sabrina just looks lost*
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "The largest of the domes is where the assembly meets. I was there as a child before." *gestures* "Come... that is the location to start."
<Alicia> <Michiru> *looks to Sabrina* "Don't worry, it's old person stuff."
<DeathStar> *Sabrina and Yuki walk along and Yuki glances around, studying the place, musing on something*
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin is back to whistling, his eyes moving to each and every person they pass.
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *leads them on a more indirect route so that they are les-likely to be spotted along the main approaches*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> This place is impressive. You know, they say the PAX with it's Progenitor is the height of technology, but the Erusians are the second height of power some sa with their technology. I wonder what could be achieved if the PAX and Erusian technology ever made something
<Alicia> * Michiru keeps an eye out for anyone who doesn't feel like they belong

<Jackieness> <Xeres> "It depends if the full assembly is in session. Othrwise... hard to say." *moves for a side entrance*
<DeathStar> *Yuki follows Xeres inside and Sabrina lets a few breaths in, holding her side*

<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Nicolette can do it, I know it

<Xanatos> 6* Kellin refreshes his hypersense with an ability point as they move along. Though it hasn't worked much in the past it's still worth a shot.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Eheh... well, we'll see. The cards can be fickle." *clutches the deck to her chest*

<Jackieness> <Xeres> "The full assembly meets in the great amphitheatre here." *moves from the perimeter to overlook the great circular depression that takes up most of the space.... extending down below as far as the dome above rises*
<Alicia> * Michiru attempts to sense a... lack... psionically.
<DeathStar> *Sabrina looks down to see how many people are down there*

<Jackieness> 6* Clusters of people have formed their own numerous groups, articulating various distinct topics in a sort of open forum.
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> A lot of people...makes it harder...
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Trying to narrow down a single person or eight... oh boy, this will be tricky."
<DeathStar> *not bad. At out 5's, Michiru gets a faint sensation out of cluster 1, Nicolette out of cluster 4, and Sabrina out of cluster 3, but there's a lout of people in each of those*

<DeathStar> *Sabrina points* I feel somethign in that cluster. But not who it is
<Alicia> <Michiru> "Pretty sure there's one in that cluster... but I can't say who."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> There should be more of them in here I would think. There's 6-7 left. Why only 3...
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Probably more but they're better at hiding. That or most of them went to throne homeworld isntead.

<DeathStar> *she holds her head, plus she gets to hear Thena yammer*

<Jackieness> <Xeres> *raises a hand and moves forward to speak to some Erusians before placing her hand on a device to confirm her identity* "This way." *walks through a door*

<Seraphna> **Thena walks with sudden grace and poise**
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "The rest of you wait in this antechamber. Be ready for anything." *then steps through another door into the asembly chamber*
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "House Xeres is sponsoring an address by the princess of the Suisen Empire, who is on a diplomatic mission!" *moves aside*
<Ariel> * Nicolette starts working out plans on a pad of paper, in case they end up with a literal riot.

<DeathStar> *Kellin and Nicolette's feeling gets further away and it seems to be going down the hallway*

<Ariel> * Nicolette quickens her pace, holding the card out in front of her as if it's guiding her.

<Xanatos> 6* Kellin quickens his place, trying to decide if firing his gun is going to cause a bunch of alarms.

<DeathStar> *Nicolette runs into nothing. Suddenly something drops down onto the ground and begins to move under the doorway - a giant spider*

<Seraphna> **Thena slows once they're secluded and turns**
<Ariel> * Nicolette EEKS and attempts to stomp the spider
<DeathStar> *Nicolette catches one leg as it slides under and scurries away*
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Oh gross. 6* He tries to get through the door.
<DeathStar> *Kellin goes through and alarms go off. The giant spider limping away*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Creepy freak... freaky creep..."
<DeathStar> *Thena's stalker pauses as the alarms go off, having stalked her and Xeres into a corner*

<Seraphna> **Thena slowly smiles** You know, assault on a Suisen Princess is famously a terrible idea.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> ...sigh. 6* His arms and legs melt away revealing the hyperspace being underneath and he moves forward at double speed, then tries to smash the spider thing.
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "May we help you?"
<DeathStar> *The spider is smashed and it attempts to bite Kellin and inject venom into him*
<DeathStar> *as it twitches*
<DeathStar> *The Hunter pulls out a poisoned blade and stabs at Thena and Xeres without preamble*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> *runs up and tries to squish the spider repeatively, and enthusiastically, under her boot*
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin tries to adjust so he gets hyperspace and not skin
<Seraphna> **Thena giggles and poofs into carbon dust, and the real Thena blasts into his back with a Hyperblast**
<DeathStar> *The spider twitches and falls down, then dissolves. Nicolette and Kellin win and beat their target*
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *moves to evade the attacker, follwing up with a strike to try to disarm it*
<DeathStar> *The Hunter stumbles and he turns into a strange monster from an unknown world with 6 arms, 3 going for Xeres, 3 grabbing at Thena and slashing at her*
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Go try to find the others, I'll see if I can get the alarms to stop.
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *tries to evade the arms
<Seraphna> **Thena glows with Hyperspace around herself and dodges to one side, cutting at once as she goes** Yar har me hearty!
<Ariel> * Nicolette nods, "Alright." She doubles back.
<DeathStar> *Xeres dodges and the monster leaps back and pulls out 6 blades*
<DeathStar> *meanwhile, Yuki, Sabrina, and Alicia's heroes stalk the third one as they exit the building*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Where are they going...
<Seraphna> **Thena hurls three orbs of hyperspace and simply slams them at the monster, no fancy moves, the orbs moving to burn and devour what they touch**
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *raises a hand and then launches a singularity into the center of the hunter*
<DeathStar> *The monster burns and yells as it stumbles and is hit by the singularity, struggling to move and leaps and ebgins to slash at them rapidly, it's strength doubling as it moves and slashes, missing Thena by an inch, then missing Xeres entirely, missing Thena entirely, missing Xeres barely, missing Thena barely, missing X entirely, entirely miss, miss*
<DeathStar> *all 6 strikes miss*
<Seraphna> **Thena teleports a bit back and splits into two, each hurling Hyperspace orbs at the beast as the third challenger enters the ring, Si leaps in with a flaming kick** BUNNY DRAGON KICK!
<DeathStar> *the 6 arm shapeshifter is destroyed, leaving just Yuki's now*
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "Let's go find the others." *moves out*
<DeathStar> *Yuki watches the last one move toward the spaceport*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> ...
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "After him!"
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Right
<DeathStar> *Yuki punches her gloves together* I don't like whatever he is up to
<DeathStar> *Yuki dashes in, despite there being civilians about now likely and rushes in and throws a punch*
<Alicia> * Hotaru follows behind, not ready to swing her scythe with civilians nearby, waiting for them to clear out somewhat before she starts.
<DeathStar> *the shapeshifter is hit and turns into a some giant Lizard creature and swings it's tail as people clear out and knocks Hotaru with it*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *chants and magical outfit transforms into an archer form, tkaing aim and firing magical shots*
<Alicia> * Hotaru is knocked back, but rolls with the hit, and swings her scythe to attempt to cut the tail off when she recovers her footing
<DeathStar> *the tail flops around and the Shapeshifter stumbles as Nicolette arrives on the scene due to Kellin sending her*
<Ariel> * Nicolette blasts the tail with a bolt of magical energy from her rod, not taking chances about shapeshifter bits.
<DeathStar> *Yuki makes a duplicate of herself like Cheryl used to do, and as the tail burns away, the two climb up the lizard and punch the lizard from both sides*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Hey, Nico. *She fires another bow into it as the others begin to arrive, even Kellin*
<DeathStar> *freezing it*
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "Nice timing." * She keeps slicing at the lizard, moving from the tail to the body.
<DeathStar> *Yuki recombines as Hotaru shatters the Shapeshifter as it is frozen and pieces slide about*
