<Seraphna> **Jaime has made a statue of Liana in her honor of the great battle with the Cart, which Liana clearly won as she survived and the cart did not. Of course, it's just a statue and has her holding her sword and looking all regal.**

<Xanatos> 6* Xan finally adds the milk to the tea and takes the diffuser out, setting it aside. After a quick stir he takes a sip and lets out an "AHHH" sound.

<Xanatos> 6* Xan smiles and pats Thena before walking over to peer at the pictures.

<DeathStar> *she shakes her butt to soften the hair*

<DeathStar> *Lumi shows photos of Chad leaving Aya's house* This was taken it seems not long after I delivered the information about finding out about that destroyed thing you all said was a Weapon's spying location
<DeathStar> *the photos are blurry and not great, but you can see it is Chad*
<Xanatos> <Xan> That's his daughter's house. Do you have something more incremenating?
<DeathStar> <Lumi> *slides another* This is him heading in the direction of said area. *the photos are still not great*

<DeathStar> <Lumi> The station was just testing it's abilities
<Xanatos> <Xan> He likes to pretend his doesn't have his little fingers in everything but obviously he does. Sounds like maybe his group was attacked though, I wonder if there were any casualties.
<DeathStar> <Celes> With everything happening recently, I hate to think there's a quiet war going on.
<Seraphna> Thena> Can bring him here for interrogation and spankings?

<Xanatos> <Xan> The only way to get Chad to talk about something is catching him in the act and even then it's 50/50. We could go check out that area, look for clues. But that's about it.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> I expect he has some sort of defence against just reading his mind.
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Probably in under a month we should be able to have the station do things like scan and take pictures. So things like that attack can be investigated maybe. When it's ready we'll give you all access

<Seraphna> Thena> Chip in his head blocking Psionics. Can't be removed without killing him. But Ms. Tabetha overcame it once.

<Xanatos> 6* Xan takes the pictures and makes a note to send them to someone before nodding to Celes.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> For now, lets just keep an eye on him passively.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Small detour shouldn't take up too much of our time.

<Seraphna> **Jaime nods a bit** Wonder what we'll find there... don't they revere you there Slyphy?
<DeathStar> *the team soon arrives at the Naturalist main city by the carriage. Built inside the forest, the Naturalist Capital - also called Nature City - is built entirely from the forest itself. All the materials needed came from the forest and a medium size city was formed, built from wood. The people that live there are in tune with nature, using what comes from the woods or fielding and plowing. Having cut down a section of the forest, they now plow and scavange from the forest itself to survive. The city is itself is like a traditional forest city, only slightly bigger, with running water, mills, fields, wooden walls for protection, advanced building walls like something out of a medieval period, systems for getting rid of waste with the spirit's help, and more. The chief's house, a mansion like building, is in the Upper Quarters.
<DeathStar> *however, things feel a little different these days - there seems to be a small mercenary army here and troops*

<Seraphna> Jaime> Looks like they're arming themselves too.
<DeathStar> <Celes> It has been a theme.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon joined the team before leaving and is looking around curiously, while Xan is chewing on a piece of beef jerky, appraising the mercenary movements.
<DeathStar> *they seem well trained and know what they are doing in their training. Sylph frowns, clearly not liking what she is watching*

<DeathStar> *Sylph walks along in big form to Helen's building, wondering what Max's sister is up to*
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC walks along, peering around at the capital.
<DeathStar> *as they reach the manor they find Helen, the were-tiger, sitting at her desk signing papers, with two soldiers on either side*
<Seraphna> **Jaime waves gently, then blinks and pulls out a small package** Hello Helen.
<DeathStar> *Helen glances up at the group*
<DeathStar> <Helen> Wow, such a large group. What brings you all here.
<Seraphna> **Jaime sets the package down** Well first, Luci sends this with love.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon bows his head in greeting, Xan just does a not, neither say anything as they don't know who this is.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC looks Helen over and then the guards before turning her attention to the room

<DeathStar> *Helen takes the package, holding a hand as a mercenary moves as if to stop the exchange, then begins to open it*
<DeathStar> <Helen> I heard that Luci and Max are opening a new club on Geyze and are newly finished
<Seraphna> **It contains some pictures of Nell, cookies, and an invite to the new club**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yep! She's busy getting the final touches on so asked I deliver this while we came out here.
<DeathStar> *Helen nods and puts it up in her desk for later* I will be sure to stop by
<DeathStar> <Celes> *puts a hand on Liana, as if this was all her idea* We just wanted to make sure you were okay. *she motions around at all the soldiers*
<DeathStar> <Helen> We are quite well, Empress Celes. *she smiles politely*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Lady Helen, suddenly gathering arms, while perfectly within your rights, is simply making some of us wary. Have you been having issues protecting yourselves?
<DeathStar> *Helen sets her pen down* It is just there are several things that have been concering us lately. We have been hearing several things that have concerned us. *she plays coy with her answers, as if not wanting to tip her hand - for some reason*
<DeathStar> *Erevis looks annoyed a little*
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Perhaps these are problems that we can help deal with.
<Alicia> * Kyouki quietly 'listens' to surface thoughts and feelings.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Any trouble with those plant people or the monsters? 6* He asks absent mindedly as he leans against the wall by the door.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Perhaps if we knew the concerns we could clarify some things?
<DeathStar> <Helen> You are well informed. The Ents are arming themselves and that is troubling. We have been hearing that the Spiriralist are up to something. The Legion, with it's new Kaiser, there are rumors cropping up lately that they plan to make a super empire with the leader of the Dark Lands. And there's finally the troubling rumors of the monsters on their island, as well as something about some group spying on all of us
<Xanatos> <Xan> That is a lot of stuff that is close but not quite right.
<DeathStar> *Celes muses on that*
<Seraphna> Jaime> The Legion for one, the marriage between the new Kaiser and the Daemon Empress has been annulled.
<DeathStar> <Helen> Is that so?
<Alicia> <Kyouki> It is so.
<Seraphna> Jaime> And as the Wife of Gnome I can attest that the Ents are focusing on security against monsters. Under our request now.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> I would seem that there is some confusion between the groups.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> To be honest, it's quite reasonable... and yes, I agree.
<Xanatos> <Simon> This information, is it being shared by a third party? It seems as if a fair amount of misinformation is being shared amongst all kingdomgs.

<DeathStar> <Helen> Well, if the marriage has been annulled, I suppose my sources could be incorrect about other things.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Have you tried to talk to the leaders of the other nations?
<Seraphna> Jaime> A divorce is on record and has some law still governing the fact that it was a thing, an annulment is a complete cancelling of the marriage.
<Xanatos> <Xan> And you're 100% sure this has happened? That's a very personal bit of information to get incorrect
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yeah, Alita told me when I asked if it was going to be awkward in meetings now that Mykel isn't just a stooge.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Fair enough.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Also Talia's been running around declaring she's a princess and battling Thena over the kitty princess title. Good times.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon tilts his head after staring at the two for a bit before glancing back to Helen.
<Xanatos> <Simon> In any event, conversations between the leaders of the kingdoms would be ideal. It seems as if these things are...more easily cleared up with a small amount of conversation.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yeah, I have a feeling the people spying on everyone are the same people dealing in all this misinformation.
<DeathStar> <Helen> I will consider it at the next meeting then. Thank you for coming.
<DeathStar> *she nods her head*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Very well, and please contact us at any point if you need anything. 6* He bows his head and moves to step out.
<DeathStar> *as they step out, a man in an advisor outfit studies them from one of the upper levels, a pet dragon on his shoulder; he moves to step into a tree house after staring at them curiously*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Well, let us head to this spy thing and be on our way.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Anyone else notice Suspicious McSuspicious up there?
<Xanatos> <Xan> Chip chip, cherrio. 6* He does a dramatic flourish with his hands and moves on for his shuttle.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> I feel like her new advisor is not as informed as one would hope.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> No. 6She peers around but he's gone.
<Xanatos> <Simon> Perhaps he's more informed than we are.
<Alicia> * Kyouki says this quietly, so as not to be overheard
<Alicia> * Is it politeness, or suspicion? Perhaps a bit of both.
<DeathStar> *after taking their rides, they soon reach the spot of a crater. It seems the spot has been already been cleaned out of clues*
<DeathStar> *it looks like a clearing upon a glance so whoever was here must have had tech to just blend in*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon stands at the crater edge and glances around curiously, while Xan actually slides down into it and activates the scanner on his eye to loop through various spectrums to try and find anything weird.
<DeathStar> <Celes> ... Well. Okay
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC kneels down at the edge of it, peering down in to the crater and then around.
<Seraphna> **Jaime peers around, then takes off her boots and digs her toes into the dirt of the crater a bit, she starts feeling out for anything that might have been buried under the crater due to the impact that someone cleaning up the surface might have missed**
<DeathStar> *Xanatos' device picks up something under the sand, deeply buried*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Very curious. If Mr Winter's group is doing this I could think of some Alliance Laws to bring them up on. SHould there be survivors.
<Xanatos> 6* Xan pauses and begins to dig in that spot.
<Seraphna> **Jaime slides over to Xan** Want some help Dad?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> He is playing in dirt. <3
<Xanatos> <Xan> There's something here pretty deep.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Could just be a lump of metal, but who knows.
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods, then touches the ground and starts to create a hole by slowly parting the ground around it, trying to raise what it is up**
<DeathStar> *they bring up a broken piece of tech that looks somewhat familiar*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> ... *looks around bored when a twig snaps near the group*
<Alicia> <Kyouki> If this is Chad's...
<DeathStar> *in the clearing*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon pauses and glances toward the clearing.
<Sara> * Ellie looks around
<Xanatos> 6* Xan scans the tech over.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC grabs her rifle off her back and looks towards the sound.
<DeathStar> *As Simon turns, an ice spear hits Sylph and does double damage to her, being the element that hurts her most, sending Sylph flying into the crater with it going through her. The Corrupted Ice Spirit stands, holding another spear above her*
<DeathStar> <Corrupted Ice Spirit> Well well well. WhAt do wE havE herE.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon blinks and forms his own ice spear.
<Sara> <Ellie> N-No, Sylphie!
<Sara> * She runs over to Sylph's side
<DeathStar> *Sylph lands beside Xanatos with an oof, wincing in pain*
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns and summons Salamander** The Corrupt Ice Spirit, be careful! **she stops and throws a stone wall up in front of the group*(*
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC quickly trains her rifle on the ice spirit, then loses her ability to see the spirit and so starts moving backwards to get new sight
<Xanatos> 6* Xan shifts over to check on Sylph to see if he can help at all.
<DeathStar> *As Xanatos' scan nears 100%, the Corrupted Ice Spirit tchs at Salamander appearing*
<Sara> <Ellie> Listen, I can see that you're upset, but hurting us and the ones we love isn't going to make you feel better!
<DeathStar> <Corrupted Ice Spirit> *whistles and the Corrupted Water Spirit appears*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon leaps toward the wall, then a rune platform appears below him and he leaps again off of it to land on top of the wall to get a better sight on the ice spirit.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> Does it really have to be like this?
<Xanatos> <Simon> Why are you attacking us? 6 *He demands, holding the spear ready.
<DeathStar> <Corrupted Ice Spirit> iS thAT right? *Sylph begins to pull the ice spear out slowly*
<Seraphna> **Jaime summons Gnome behind her** Focus on the Ice Spirit, Sally, I've got her.
<DeathStar> <Corrupted Ice Spirit> Just seeing yOu all brings out the worst in mE I gueSs. But AlsO I wanT what's in Your HandS.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Why do you want it?
<Xanatos> 6* Xan pulls some first aid spray out, seeing if it helps Sylph, all of this is distracting him from scanning the tech.
<Sara> <Ellie> More importantly, what even is it?
<DeathStar> *the two Spirits begin to circle. Salamander burns and and leaps for the Ice Spirit*
<DeathStar> *Sylph gets it out and pants and gives Xanatos a faint smile*
<Xanatos> <Xan> It's technology, likely from earth or one of its allies. Here someone help Sylph and I'll finish scanning it then they can have it.
<Sara> <Ellie> No... *she slumps, seeing Salamander going in like that*
<DeathStar> <C. Ice Spirit> somE people Who Are Helping us want It. You being Here is a Bonus for Me
<DeathStar> *Salamander is cut off by the Corrupted Spirit who splashes her*
<Sara> <Ellie> We have no reason to be enemies other than things other people say...
<Seraphna> Jaime> Helping you, or using you?
<Xanatos> <Simon> Chad Winters or Weapon XII? 6* He watches her to see her reaction to see if those names register for her.
<DeathStar> *And the Ice Spirit begins to skate around toward Xanatos* We'Re still alive, aren't WE, thanks to Them. *she lands, tilting her head at Chad's name like she recognizes it, but not the latter*
<DeathStar> *Selena focuse her sword and circles the spirits, to keep them from Sylph who is making a wind shield*
<DeathStar> <Celes> ... Hrn
<Seraphna> Jaime> You call this life? **she combines with Gnome**
<Xanatos> <Simon> Leaps off the stone wall and lands between the ice spirit and Xan, chanting before stomping out to make an ice wall in front of him.
<Xanatos> 6* Xan sighs and gets back to scanning.
<DeathStar> <Corrupted Ice Spirit> ... *she touches the Ice wall and absorbs it*

<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns and peers over, in her Gnome Combo form** Well we need to know a lot more before just handing it over then...

<Xanatos> <Xan> I maybe secretly have some DNA from a few of Chad's weapons, it's definitely Weapon XII dna on this thing at any rate.
<DeathStar> <Corrupted Ice Spirit> Well if there is no real tech here I guess the person would get annoyed if we killed you all. *the two look a bit insane like they might want to fight anyway*

<Xanatos> <Simon> I'm more troubled that there was an attack here and we only have a guess at who one party involved was.

<DeathStar> *the Corrupted Ice Spirit waves the water one away and focuses, not needing them to touch her, and suddenly the group is warped, feeling icky with corruptive energy. They all appear in front of Chad, wherever he may be*
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "Ugh... that felt disgusting."
<DeathStar> *Sylph looks illish and Gnome does too*
<Sara> * Ellie hugs on Sylph
<DeathStar> <Gnome> At least that was not near my element..
<DeathStar> *she rises sooner than Sylph does, who leans against Ellie*

* ChadWinters is standing in the back yard of Aya's place, a tea cup in his left hand as he looks down at a table with some paperwork on it. He pauses a bit as he hears new voices, his body tensing a bit.
<Xanatos> 6* Xan pauses and then pats all of his pockets and narrows his eyes at the ice spirit.
<DeathStar> *the Ice Spirit seems to be gone during all this as they are back at the snowy Academy it seems*
<Xanatos> <Xan> ...goddamnit she stole the piece from me.
<Seraphna> Jaime> So... Chad, there's a lot of explaining to do I think.
