<DeathStar> <Asarar> So I been looking into it and his creator apparently wanted to walk his own path when it came to making Biotects. Maybe call them Brigadoons. I have no idea
<Seraphna> Luci> I'll have a Sunspot.

<DeathStar> <Asarar> But the fact is the dude was poor as dirt and kept reusing materials. So I find it odd that he could make a robot guardian.
<Xanatos> <Logan> Wonder what an iteration equates because the Biotects only got up to...gen 6?

<DeathStar> *Asarar takes her drink, peering at the information* Anyway, my line of thought is this. Did BIX's creator have an assistant that is following in this footsteps - hence the lab on Kumen with the robot guardian

<Xanatos> <Logan> Question, how are new Biotects created today?
<DeathStar> *Asarar folds her hands* With Tora only being partially involved in Kumen affairs - Ymir. She practically runs the city with Ylva. Mark IX's and VIII's are the most common being made, due to how hard it is to make a X.
<Seraphna> Luci> Seems like it would be easier, less letters.

<Xanatos> <Logan> I imagine it's fairly expensive? If that's the case then it could be a similar reason to Bix's original creator. Cheaper to make.

<Alicia> * Sparkling looks up from her studying, apparently having taken Nicolette's spot.

<Sara> <Liana> I hope they didn't send us a bunch of crazy ones. *she notes quietly to her wife*

<ChadWinters> Well part of Nicolette's plan was my suggestion. On top of that, I have business with the shapeshifters.

<DeathStar> *Celes nods, then speaks more carefully* Anyway, the Makas should be here in a few hours. Nicolette strangely is missing, so Sparkling and Sabrina will have to be our vanguard until they arrive

<DeathStar> <Selena> Well, unless they got word of our plan, nothing should go wrong

<DeathStar> *Celes pauses, glancing at everyone. Sylph floats in beside a fruit and doesn't eat it*

<Xanatos> 6* Xan shows his doodle of Erevis to her, she has a hat and moustache as well but his art if far more rough.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Okay... so Nicolette is oddly missing and Sylph is not eating a fruit. Anything else weird?

<Seraphna> Jaime> They seem to like picking on Sylph, I keep having to put them in line over it.

* ChadWinters glances at some going outside then the others talking about kids and he stands up, moving out
<DeathStar> *Kito apparently has made the meal in the shape of a fox*
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and nods** I guess we can deal with the kids while we wait.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *has her meal*
<Xanatos> <Xan> Did you make sure they had a place to stay and meals to eat?
<Sara> <Liana> Hard to say. We practically need eyes in the back of our heads. If they want to do it in secret I'd expect them to start out by moving through the places where they'd be harder to detect, like the forests or the caves.
<Sara> <Liana> That's how any larger-scale invasion starts out, in the dark.
<ChadWinters> If there's a few of them, they can move from crowd to crowd, town to town without worry.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> *rises and moves to find the children. The kids are standing around, protcting Aimée and Mélodie, though it looks more like they're keeping them from leaving Chelsea's garage. The two spirits eye them like they might attack*
<Sara> * Liana folds her arms, feeling sure of this; but she is, in fact, no military strategist.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yeah I made them some places to live.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I'm not sure they get how guarding works.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Hm. *eyes a map when Sasha's vision suddenly darkens*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan followed Erevis and peers at the kids guarding then glances to Erevis.
<Alicia> * Kyouki follows Erevis, sighing a little at the attempt at guarding
<ChadWinters> But the best place for a shapeshifter to hide is going to be in big crowds. Less chance for someone to notice something different.

<DeathStar> <Selena> Well, if they are using caves and stuff, they might use the monster caves that giant slime monster made a few months back all over Geyze!

<ChadWinters> That would allow them to move without having the teleporters log them.
<DeathStar> *The kids - a mixture of boys, mainly, and some girls, peer up at Xanatos*

<Xanatos> <Xan> I did that job for years. Let this old man give you some advice, the being you're guarding is the boss. You follow them around and keep them safe from bad elements. You don't keep them locked up in their shop.
<DeathStar> *Kito's face twists in a sneer that doesn't match her normal face* What do you mean, mistress? I only did what I've always wanted to do. *she pulls Sasha's body closer, dragging her toward the closet*

<Alicia> * Kyouki looks to Erevis. "He really has grown, hasn't he?"
<DeathStar> <Kito> No, I'm afraid this time you're going to listen to me. After all, you've ignored my wishes for years, right? Pretending to look the other way. It's okay. I understand. Your death will be enough to make it up to me. *she opens the closer and tosses Sasha in next to Kito, it appears, who has been tied up, and looks pale, then closes the door*

<DeathStar> *Kidd and the others peer at each other and group huddle*
<Seraphna> **Jaime giggles softly** Well he seems able to talk to them.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...K...Kito..." *tries to check on the real Kito*
<DeathStar> <Kidd> Oh, all right. *they move aside and the two Spirits move outside, hmphing and run off to play, Melodie running to Sparkling*
<DeathStar> *Kito looks poisoned as well, her magic keeping her alive - barely*
<DeathStar> *Selena seems to be studying the charted underground tunnels* Well if they are using them, mother, they could possibily go to a lot of minor cities. And then walk to major cities. <Celes> I will ask Lumi and the Peacekeepers to keep guard in the tunnels then
<DeathStar> <Celes> Just to be safe.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *tries to see what magic she can still muster*
<Alicia> * Sparkling hugs Melodie, putting study aside
<Seraphna> Jaime> I'll have to check up on them for a bit to see if they correct their ways.
<DeathStar> *As they talk the Maka begin to arrive - since they do not use ships, they can see a few Maka arriving nearby* <Sabrina> Oh - look.
<DeathStar> <Mélodie> When Sparkling get boring and study all the time. It is summer
<ChadWinters> Could set up security cameras, trip lasers, and the like for ones they can't cover
<Xanatos> <Xan> Nice work, if you ever need advice just find me. 6* He holds out a fist to bump to Kidd.
<DeathStar> *Kidd eyes his fist oddly, then mimics uncertainly*

<Xanatos> 6* Simon pulls his arms behind his back as he watches the Maka approach, standing there to greet them.

<Alicia> * Sparkling nods quietly, unsure how to explain
* ChadWinters glances off to the side. 1"Seem's the Maka have arrived."
<Sara> <Liana> ... Is that one riding a broom? Man, Maka are strange. *she notes quietly to her wife*

<Sara> <Liana> I mean, I'm not one to make fun of their customs, it is just an adjustment for sure
<DeathStar> *one Maka, DS will let Sara handle another, approaches, looking to be 12ish, peering about and looks to be nonchalant with a big hat on their hat and oversized weapon that's too big for them*

<DeathStar> *Sasha would find her magic is there, barely, at 10% it's usual power as her health is dropping steadily, when the Ancient Temple activates suddenly. It glows and Celes looks that way*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *hugs on to the real Kito and tries to cast her fire trap combined with the double jump magic to try to blast the pair of them out*
<DeathStar> *the Temple being the place Sasha lives in*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Um. What is that?
<Xanatos> 6* Simon pauses, glancing to the temple and then glances to Celes.
<Seraphna> **Jaime blinks a bit, looking over towards the sudden glow** That's abnormal.
<Xanatos> <Simon> I'm afraid I don't know.
<DeathStar> *Sasha busts out of the place and lands near the balcony*
<Seraphna> Talia> Glowy thing! Might mean special loot event!
<DeathStar> *the Ancient Temple seems to be lifting off the ground*
<Sara> * The other Maka in question looks maybe a little younger, wearing a robe that is entirely too big for her and is carrying a large... mop
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *pulls Kito on to the balcony*
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "...you don't think there's a shapeshifter in there, do you?"
<DeathStar> <Celes> ...*looks at it rising up. Kito stirs and opens her eyes, glancing around, then sees herself approaching them*
<DeathStar> <Kito> ... eh?
<ChadWinters> Is that normal?
<DeathStar> <Celes> That place is suppose to have no power
<DeathStar> *Sabrina stares with the hat Maka*
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses, then starts skating over there** May as well make sure there's no problems then.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "Someone powered it up, it looks like."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Lets go!"
<ChadWinters> <Id> If that's not normal, then yes, I believe people should approach it quickly.
<DeathStar> <Selena> I didn't know Aunt Sasha's "house" flew
<Sara> * The other Maka meanwhile hops on her mop and flies over that way, without even asking them if it's normal or anything
<DeathStar> *Erevis elbows Xanatos* Fly me there. Like them
<Xanatos> 6* Simon moves after the others quickly, forming his spear.
<Sara> <Liana> ...I don't think any of us knew
<Xanatos> 6* Xan lifts her up in his arms.....then just runs along while holding her up.
<DeathStar> *the temple by now is about 20 feet above the ground while the Shapeshifter Kito corners Kito and Sasha on the balcony*
<DeathStar> <Shapeshifter> Come back in and die slowly. Unless you want to plummit. <Kito> ...
<ChadWinters> <Id> It is quickly ascending.
<DeathStar> *the other Maka with the hat grabs a big hammer and flies after and Sabrina goes with them; while Erevis holds onto Xanatos. Selena makes a noise and grabs Liana*
<Seraphna> **As Jaime arives she crouches, then a column of earth bursts under her sending her flying up**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "..." *grabs the leg of one of her patio chairs and tries to swing it to knock the false Kito ovr the balcony's edge*
<DeathStar> *selena's eyes go red and Aska's powers quick in as she glows with light energy, zooming up and gliding upward*
<DeathStar> *the False Kito grabs the chaitr and knocks Sasha and Kito over toward the Makas as they fly up*
<DeathStar> <Shapeshifter Kito> ...
<Seraphna> **Jaime looks about as she gets high enough, then teleports to the balcony**
* ChadWinters makes his way under, peering up, then scratches his face.

<Sara> * The mop Maka catches Sasha on her mop
<DeathStar> *the other Maka grabs Kito*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon stands under, preparing magic to catch them but stops when the Maka have it under control.
<DeathStar> *Jaime would find herself in Sasha's room but it looks more glowy as a wall has lifted up, revealing an ancient chamber*
<Xanatos> <Xan> So there's two of that assistant of Sasha's.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *walks ove rbeside Gwen* "...the mechinery under there was practically scrap. Someone must have worked overtime to get them working... and in secret."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, this is awkward.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "I didn't notice anything wrong."
<DeathStar> *with magic runes and spirit devices*
* ChadWinters glances at Durran. 1"Any ideas on how to get up there?
