Adeline seems to be nibbling some sort of food* <Taiga> I been looking for where this Model A might have been taken into the Alternate Reality.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Tell me more."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Assuming this Alternate Noire was working for Zao, then it might have been taken to the Imperial Palace.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So I been focusing my scans there, but it's been heavily fortifed against my drones
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...how annoying."

<DeathStar> <Andrea> Every Noire related item I've gathered over the years. *She shows images of Noire after her victory of eating a planet, Noire being grumpy at the bar, Noire in Tokyo with Madison doing something that makes Ren tilt her head* <Andrea> I know eveeerything
<Jackieness> <Noire> "This is a fake me, mother! Pictures of the real me are irrelevant!"

<DeathStar> *Andrea begins to chant dark words from the tome after plucking a hair from Noire*

<Alicia> <Victoire> "Admiration for the smart and self-controlled sister of Reikana."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Ah, well. I think she's smart.
<DeathStar> <Ren> And a good cook
<DeathStar> <Ren> And nice. *begins to rattle off a ton of things*
<Seraphna> Jaime> She’s a frustrating person, but my friend.
<Alicia> * Charlotte pauses, obviously not wanting to say, but does speak. "Also admiration... and a hint of envy. How dare you be so much better than me."
<DeathStar> *Andrea seems amused*
<DeathStar> *As the hair grows, curling to point toward Noire*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> And here I thought you'd say you lusted after her body
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well... she is very attractive too."

<Jackieness> <Noire> *does an Ojou laugh*

<Alicia> <Charlotte> "It would be very powerful magic if it could detect an alternate Noire from here."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> IT'll change, trust me. Do you want me to help, or do you girls think you can handle capturing hr?

<DeathStar> *Taiga begins to input the Alternate Reality coordinates*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Alright then. Try to get the Model A back. And while there learn more about the situation with Zao.
<Seraphna> Si> I made a special device for this.
<Seraphna> **Si holds out… a net on a stick**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Anything we can learn about why they wanted the Model A and this heart will be useful. It might even help with the Classical Reality and why Wind took Kaori's reality powers. I'm beginning to think everything is tied together
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...its always tied together."
<Seraphna> **Jaime leans on Adeline**
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Ready?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ready."
<DeathStar> *Ren twirls magical girl style as her strikers outfit zips up*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Always ready."
<DeathStar> *she kneels by Akatsuki, who is 5ish now* Help watch the station with grandma
<Seraphna> Jaime> **shifts her dress into a uniform** Skin tight uniform ready.
<DeathStar> *She hops through, taking Victoire if she decides to come*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *passes through the portal*
<DeathStar> *Adeline zips up and heads through. Taiga tosses Akatsuki a snack*
<Seraphna> **Jaime follows Adeline**
<Alicia> * Akatsuki nods to Ren
<DeathStar> *The group arrives in the Illium controlled city, ships patrolling the skies now*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...well...things have gone downhill. We need to get close to the palace, but we shoudl also stay off the street."
<DeathStar> *it looks like the city is now has mandated martial law*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Yeah. And it's night
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks for a sewer entrance*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I'm guessing getting in touch with the Arcana will be tougher. *The hair in Noire's hand suddenly splits*
<Alicia> <Victoire> "I bet this place doesn't even have a Reikana."
<DeathStar> *one half pointing at hr and the other half pointing not toward the palace, but toward some place in the city*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Interesting
<DeathStar> *there doesn't appear to be a sewer entrance on this street, but perhaps on the next street*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Good. Getting to the palace will be tough, but getting to... some place? Not so hard."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hm, if we want to go below, I could try to foxhole it
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...we should be careful. Limited powers too." *tries going by way of alleyways*
<DeathStar> *The alleyways are tight as they get off the street. Those with good hearing would hear the sound of something passing by on the street as they reach the next one. A large hovertank patrols with a sewer grate nearby. The split hair continues to point deeper into the city*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *signals to wait for the hovertank to move past before going to the sewer grate*
<DeathStar> *The hovertank slowly does it's patrol pass like in a video game as Adeline kneels by the grate and Ren joins*
<Alicia> * Charlotte follows, Victoire following her
<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries to get into the sewers*
<DeathStar> *as they get the grate open, Ren hops down after Noire; the smell is just LOVEly. Adeline makes a face*
<DeathStar> <Ren> *holds out her hands to catch Charlotte*
<Alicia> <Victoire> "Ugh, this place smells of Xevil."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "This isn't our first time."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I take it this Xevil enjoyed playing in sewers?
<DeathStar> <Ren> Lead the way, Noire.
<Alicia> <Victoire> "No, he just stinks."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *follows the hair as best she can given the constraints imposed by the sewers layout*
<DeathStar> *As they twist an turn in the sewers, sometimes having to backtrack, they begin to get closer when they suddenly hear a noise*
<DeathStar> <Ren> ...
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves against the wall and quiets down*
<Alicia> * Victoire sings a rest... which is to say, she stays quiet.
<DeathStar> *As they press against the wall, a wall of green liquid stuff begins to head down their way as someone seems to have opened a flood gate somewhere ala Friday the 13th Part VIII.* <Adeline> That's enough to sweep us away. *She looks around* <Ren> Ugh.
<Alicia> * Victoire near-panickedly searches for an alcove to hide in
<Jackieness> <Noire> "With me, now!"
<Seraphna> **Jaime moves over to her**
<Alicia> * Victoire rushes over and practically clings
<DeathStar> *Ren and Adeline grab on
<Alicia> * Charlotte grabs on too
<Jackieness> <Noire> *deploys her tendrils and tries to cocoon the team with the tendrils ebfore the wave hits them*
<Alicia> * Victoire transforms to fox form inside the cocoon to save space
<DeathStar> *The cocoon wobbles about as it tries to go with the wave an after a bit it seems to end, the water being drained somewhere further down. Ren, also doing the fox form with Victoire, yips*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *waits a bit for the sound to subside before releasing everyone*
<DeathStar> *Ren climbs Charlotte while Adeline makes a face* I can't tell if that helped the smell or made it worse
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Also, did you manage to hold onto the hair during all that?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm, I still have it."
<DeathStar> *it seems to be pointing upward now*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...above." *looks up*
<Seraphna> **Jaime peers up**
<DeathStar> *Ren climbs into Charlotte's cleavage; Adeline glances up* I see no manhole right now; interesting.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> A building above us?
<Alicia> * Charlotte looks for a way up that doesn't involve shadowporting, foxholes or progenitor powers.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Sometimes there are secret passages into the sewers from buildings
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...then we need to find either a secret door or a nearby sewer grate."
<DeathStar> *Adeline begins to TK the sides of the sewer*
<DeathStar> *As Charlotte looks around, all that she can really discover without using powers is that this area of the sewers is more straight in some places, instead of curved*
<Alicia> * Charlotte looks for secret doors
<DeathStar> *Ren in fox form eyes it*
<DeathStar> *There are a few discolored bricks on the straight wall*
<Alicia> * Charlotte presses them
<DeathStar> *theres a noise as the wall rises up*
<DeathStar> *And stairs are revealed*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... well done, Charlotte."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Once Adeline mentioned secret passages, I knew exactly what to look for."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods and then head sup the stairs*
<DeathStar> *As they head up, Adeline TK pulling Jame along, they arrive in what looks like the basement of someplace, coming up amongst storage of a lot of items - weapons, strange devices, and a ton of Illium stuff*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around and then at the hair*
<DeathStar> *it seems to be curled up. indicating somewhere in the building*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods and then slowly explores the basement*
<Alicia> * Charlotte does likewise
<DeathStar> *Noire would find various PAX like stuff, to advanced Illium tech that seems like it could be PAXish but much, much more advance that it's too hard to tell what it could do
<DeathStar> *some looks like weapons to others being defensive*
<DeathStar> <Ren> So this is what Mom and the others fought as kids?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Must be, but why is it in some random basement?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Good question
<DeathStar> *There seems to be movement; Adeline motions to find a spot to hide*
<Sara> <Kaori> Must not be so random.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...is it possible that fake me actually worked for the resistance or was captured by them?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime hides**
<Sara> * Kaori hides
<DeathStar> *Ren squeals at Kaori appearing, turning to eye her coming up from the sewers*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *hides*
<DeathStar> <Ren> ... ga...gaaa.... one day...you gotta stop..that
<DeathStar> *she finds a spot to hide among all the stuff in the basement*
<DeathStar> *Illium soldiers come down with Noire; they begin to go through the boxes, some of them coming close to the hiding spots*
<DeathStar> *The Noire standing there seems to have the powers of Noire as well as the Arcana, peering about; she scans the room, as the soldiers take the gear and begin to head up leave. Drifting around, she nears Charlotte and Noire's spots*
<DeathStar> <Alternate Noire> ... *Then turns and begins to go*
<DeathStar> *Ren peeks her head out* ... did we do it?
<DeathStar> *After the coast is clear*
<Alicia> * Victoire looks out. "Looks like it."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...definitely the right place. This could be a barracks."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I felt for a moment she seemed to be drawn to Charlotte and Noire. But I might have been imagining it
<DeathStar> <Adeline> The smart thing would be to find a way to blow this equipment up and take the building out. The gun I gave Kaori could do it. But that might have it's own drawbacks
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "We could just... take it?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...how many buildings like this can be found across the city?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> No one else felt this was like a storehouse raid?
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hm, probably a few. <Adeline> But only one has a Noire in it. But the problem is we need her to tell us where Model A was taken
<DeathStar> <Adeline> So even if we blow it - or raid it as Charlotte says - we need to interrogate her.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm-hmmm... and while we cna take her alone, she has thos Illium troops around her."
<Sara> * Kaori eyes her gun
<DeathStar> *Ren grabs a few weapons and defensive stuff, dumping into her sub-space*
<DeathStar> <Ren> There, anything else you think I should grab, Charlotte? *she eyes a few Illium items that look like they are discs - who knows what they do. She grabs one
<DeathStar> *dumping it*
<DeathStar> *There's also a strange grappling hook like item and dumps it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... I wonder if any of thse weapons are effective against their strengthened physical structures."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well, I've basically filled my sub-space. I doubt I can rob anything else.
<Alicia> * Charlotte grabs as many discs as she can easily carry
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I jusrt hope you both don't blow yourselves up
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm...now for our next move." *moves for the door out of the basement and listens*
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses, pocketing a few things in mud**
<DeathStar> *Noire can hear Illium soldiers - two - on patrol. Ren prepares herself* Outside maybe Jaime, I'm the fastest one here. I'll rush out and take one - the rest of you can handle the other if I fail
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Remember the eyes are what you need to go for. No matter how strong you are, it matters little if you go wailing on their body and it does nothing
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... Ren and Jaime, hit each one first. Charlotte and I will support you in a followup attack sicne oru abilities are essentially their weakness."
<Jackieness> our abilities
<DeathStar> *Ren hunches over by the door, tensing, then surprisingly sinks into the floor like a shadow*
<Alicia> * Charlotte feels out for if that was intentional or not
<DeathStar> *she appears beside one of the enemies' shadow, driving for their eyes with her wire weapon and knocking them over, attacking like a wolf like beast, not caring how messy it is*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Jaime, you're up. Take out guard two."
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses, waiting a moment before poofing right in the face of the other, punching it with a muddy fist, the hyper infused mud gunkily spiking for it's eyes&&
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Charlotte, support Ren. I'll support Jaime if they need it." *goes through the door*
<Alicia> * Charlotte follows up Ren's attack to take down the enemy
<DeathStar> *before the guard can attack Ren's back, he falls over and hits the ground. Ren uses her wire to jerk him up by the neck to let Charlotte strike him, kneeling there as she shakes blood off her hands*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Alright. Hallway clear.
<DeathStar> *Adeline steps out. *the hallway seems to be the first floor of a base alright. No one seems to have noticed them yet*
<DeathStar> *They could run past a few doors and try to run out the front foor, but there are stairs nearby to go up to the second floor*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *checks her hair*
<DeathStar> *it looks curled up; the other Noire is still in the base*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...let's check upstairs."
<Alicia> * Charlotte nods and starts up
<DeathStar> *As they go upstairs, two Illium leap and tackle the group down the stairs. Adeline oofs onto her rear as the Illium begins to aim their weapons*
<DeathStar> *the rifle like weapons begin to charge. Adeline rolls to the right away from the stairs, tKing Kaori with her*
<Seraphna> **Jaime teleports behind one andputs her hands on his head, repeating the mud move**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *lashes with her tendrils at their eyes*
<DeathStar> *The Illium blindly fires, blowing a chunk of the ceiling down on top of Ren's tail*
<DeathStar> *The other turns to fire at Jaime point blank*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Jaime!
<Seraphna> **jaime remains on his back so when he turns he's firing at nothing**
<Seraphna> **Jaime keeps the mud up crushing at his eyes**
<DeathStar> *the area explodes with ceiling/wall/gore*
<DeathStar> *making stuff fall down*
<Alicia> * Victoire moves to try to keep anything from falling on anyone... except the Illium... with tendrils
<DeathStar> *Adeline TK works to help her*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> At least they made a hole to the third floor
<Seraphna> **Jaime leaps off his back using him as a shield from the blast**
<DeathStar> *as alarms begin to go off*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I need to quicken that brain penetration somehow.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Move." *heads up the stairs*
<Seraphna> **Jaime leaps up the hole as she pulls a PAX shielding unit out of her mud**
<DeathStar> *As they walk up the stairs, Illiums begin to flood around the corners of the second floor from both sides. They seem to now have protective head now*
<DeathStar> *Adeline TK floats Kaori along behind her*
<DeathStar> *Ren leaps up the hole to the third floor as the blasts begin to come in and Ren pulls out her single disc* <Ren> Okay, lets see what this does. *She tosses it down to the second floor as Adeline climbs up*
<DeathStar> *the disc suddenly zooms toward the nearest target - almost latching onto Noire*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...what?"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Homing devices?"
<DeathStar> *it zooms past her and Charlotte, and hits an Illium. It latches on and vaporizes the target*
<DeathStar> *As well as the two next to him*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...well...keep at least one handy for study, please." *forms a dark matter singularity and tosses it at the group comign from the other direction*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I Think Charlotte grabbed quite a few
<DeathStar> *As the dark matter singularity slows the Illium down*
<DeathStar> *As they reach the third floor, it seems much quieter, most of the Illium having rushed down to floor 2*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I sway we only have a few minutes before they come back up
<Alicia> <Victoire> "Lets do what we can to prepare."
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** For one thing, we gotta get more of those discs later.
<DeathStar> *Ren looks around; the third floor seems to have quite a few important rooms up here.*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *goes to look for her copy*
<DeathStar> *As they walk along, they come across rooms like "data center" and "intelligence center" and "reality data". As they walk along, suddenly, a tendril flies out and nearly takes Noire's head off*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...the fake..."
<DeathStar> *Arcana Noire> Annoying...
<DeathStar> *She closes the door to an office*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And now you imitate my catchphrases?" *stalks toward the door*
<Seraphna> Jaime> That's a catchphrase!?
<DeathStar> *the sounds of Illium coming up the stairs can be heard* <Ren> Charlotte, toss some discs down the stairs
<Alicia> * Charlotte throws a couple down
<DeathStar> *the sounds of vaporizing can be heard*
<DeathStar> *Adeline stands guard at the top of the stairs with Kaori* We'll be here
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and creates columns of mud that harden into rock along the stairs after that to slow them down**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Charlotte, Victoire. With me."
<Sara> * Kaori nods at Adeline
<Alicia> <Victoire> "Got it." <Charlotte> "Right."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *then uses her tendrils to force open the door*
<DeathStar> *The door is forced open and suddenly it's vaporized, a disc having been placed on it*
<DeathStar> *The tendril with it*
<DeathStar> *The Arcana Noire launcng her attack with tendrils with greater power at anyone near the door*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *brings ehr other tendrils to bear at the Arcana Noire*
<DeathStar> *and zooming forward, moving like a Dragoon almost, to try to uppercut with a dark axe, cutting the other tendrils*
<Alicia> * Victoire sings to boost Noire and Charlotte's strength as Charlotte launches her own tendrils
<DeathStar> *she urks, getting hit by the other tendrils*
<DeathStar> *As the mud begins to be knocked down by weapons, Adeline gets ready*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *forms her Dark Edge and follows up the blindsiding from Charlotte*
<Seraphna> **Jaime pulls a PAX grenade out of the mud and tosses it down next**
<DeathStar> *Noire knocks Alternate Noire aside and she turns into some Dark Mech, aiming a weapon at Charlotte and Noire, firing missiles*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Holy crap
<DeathStar> *the grenade seems to pause the attack*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries opening a shadowport in front of herself, opening up behind the 'mecha'
<DeathStar> *Alternate NOire grunts. Ren rides on Charlotte's head to cheer her on*
<DeathStar> *the Dark Mech begins to shoot out massive tendrils to try to grab Noire*
<DeathStar> *suddenly, under Adeline, Jaime, and Kaori, the Illium break the floor open to try to pull them down*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... damn it all
<Seraphna> **Jaime grabs them and teleports down the hall a bit**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps forward, slashing with ehr Dark Edge*
<Seraphna> Jaime> You might want to use my special gun, darling.
<DeathStar> *Adeline loads a bullet*
<Alicia> * Charlotte backs up Noire with tendrils and TK
<DeathStar> *and fires at the eyes*
<DeathStar> *Alternate Noire's mech explodes and she landso n her butt*
<Seraphna> **Jaime forms a blade of stone, which turns to fire, wreathes in water, shadow, and a strange buzzing aura of time, before a breeze flows about it and forms into a somewhat stable looking blade** Still a bit to go, but let's see how they handle this.
<Sara> * Kaori also fires one of the weaker bullets from her gun
<Seraphna> **Jaime sends a blast of combined elements at thier heads**

<DeathStar> *The Illium aim at Victoire, as Ren leaps on their head in fox form, knocking their aim down as Victoire runs through*

<Seraphna> **Jaime has the sink holes start to eat the two as she moves along with Adeline**
<Alicia> * Charlotte strikes at the Illium's eyes, not even caring if they go down completely, just as long as they're disabled long enough for everyone to escape

<DeathStar> *As they return to the Asteroid C after disabling the two, Taiga is there waiting*
