<DeathStar> *Taiga leans back as she eyes the information the Alternate Noire gave them*
<DeathStar> *Ren plays with string,somehow tangling up her hands while Adeline muses over documents. The teenage Alternate Noire looks sour*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It looks like Model A is being held here. *She sets down hand drawn maps*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...and that place is...what?"
<Alicia> * Charlotte examines the map while waiting for an answer
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It looks like an Illium military lab that is manfucatory stuff. Their Noire knows little about what they're making, but it's located in the city and believes it's helping to locate the Hearts. Having a piece of another reality's object - and having one from our reality - will allow them to find all the hearts easier.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Of course not being able to get to Tareh will likely make that harder.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I'm assuming they don't have a Tareh of their own."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Only one Tareh to my knowledge
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... so we at least will ahve time."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Unless there's an Oddverse version, but even then that wouldn't meet their requirements
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "What exactly are their requirements?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... still, they stole from us and from a reality friendly to us."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> At one point, the Alt Reality, the Classic Reality, and our Reality were all tied while Tareh was still connected to the Prime Reality
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I've been using that connected link to try to borrow through Tareh's block these past few years to try to get our people back
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So all I can assume is these hearts has something to do with that time
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "A reasonable assumption."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... Centerpoint would have existed at that time, correct?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Oh yes. Centerpoint's destruction is what practically seperated the realities
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We lost contact with all of them
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And then the pieces went on to form the Mirror Universe in the end.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well... we know people who are intimiately connected to centerpoint."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "You don't think they're after something to do with Centerpoint?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Its the common factor."
<DeathStar> *Taiga taps her pencil on her pad* It's possible. We can't dismiss the idea. There would be people who are tied to it here. And they have Alternate Counterparts. I'm not too sure about Classic. And I believe Tareh might have some counterparts
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "And Centerpoint... is related to Reality itself..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... what about Wind? The other one hijacked Kaori's powers."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I thought there was only one Wind?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I suppose Classic, being Wind's reality, could be a target as a Heart if we view him unde the Centerpoint theory
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Kaori and Jaime's brother for our Reality
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Right now, its all we have." *looks over at her Alt clone* "...mmm...unless you have overheard something from your time specnt in indenturement?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'd need to look into Alternate's files to see who might fall into the proper parameters.
<DeathStar> <Alt Noire> I know little if these Hearts are people, objects, or places. But Zao is definitely preparing a large scale operation soon.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "To what end?"
<DeathStar> <Alt Noire> To secure power in the realm, then if he is anything like his father, perhaps start another Illium War. <Taiga> Sounds like he needs a spanking. Their Ao would be ashamed.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If he intends to invade our reality again, then we are going to have to be more aggressive than I had originally planned."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I wouldn't be surprised."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... so who is up for a revolution?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Either way we need the Model A to start our plans in the Wind Reality
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Stuff is brewing there too. So many little fires.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Get the barrier down to Tareh, stop Zao in Alt, and find Wind to Kaori's power back
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I suspect that we'll run into Wind sooner or later by following this trail of hearts."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I'd be surprised if we didn't."
<DeathStar> *Taiga begins to prepare the gate* Alright lets sneak in and get the Model A - as well as start some trouble
<DeathStar> *The other Noire clads herself in shadows while Adeline checks her uniform*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "How has research on the discs gone?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...let's."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They are explosive tracker discs. Toss them at an enemy and they will fly at them or attach to sides of things; but the problem is if there is no one around, they might attach to a nearby party member. You can attach to the sides of buildings if you don't want to throw
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I was more asking if we can produce our own yet."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, the problem is thay the Illium use very advance PAX tech. We could probably make cheaper copies using the PAX technology
<DeathStar> <Taiga> If Lenneth lets us
<DeathStar> <Ren> I mean
<Sara> * Kaori untangles Ren
<DeathStar> <Ren> Me and Char could ask... ah! Thanks!
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Perfect."
<DeathStar> *Ren wiggles her hands*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... were you tied up the entire time?
<DeathStar> *Alt Noire steps through first once the gate forms; Taiga blinking*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... I am more concerned in having coutnermeasures to things they might throw at us."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *shakes her head and then goes after her Alt self*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'll work on that too
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Consider me R&D
<DeathStar> *Ren grabs some stuff and moves through with Adeline*
<Alicia> * Charlotte heads through
<DeathStar> *They arrive in the city where even more patrols are flying about; hovertanks and sky patrols. No one is seen on the streets now, but at least it's night*
<DeathStar> <Taiga on comms> I've placed you as close to the location as I feel comfortable
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around for her Alt version*
<DeathStar> *She is a little up ahead, staring down the street*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves to catch up with her*
<DeathStar> *Ren and the others catch up* <Alt Noire> They'll have cameras hidden around
<DeathStar> *further down the street, out of the city proper, is the military lab, with patrols between them and it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Of course... especially after that last battle we had."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hm. How do we get that far without being seen? *it looks like a bit of distance to the base*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "There are areas that don't have cameras... we just have to find them."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Any ideas?"
<DeathStar> *the patrols seem to be made up of hovertanks and soldiers, the distance is an open area for the most part with some buildings here and threre*
<DeathStar> *that indeed have cameras on them*
<DeathStar> <Ren> We could try to put cardboard boxes on us?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *turns and just looks at Ren*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "That only works in places where you'd find cardboard boxes."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ...
<DeathStar> <Ren> Ohh
<DeathStar> *Alt Noire stares*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...we are not using the cardboard box strategy."
<DeathStar> <Ren> We could have our striker uniforms mimic the soldiers clothing
<DeathStar> <Ren> And try to sneak in
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "As long as they can't identify us."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We'll form a patrol,s atying away form the other patrols. We'll get their pattern first then proceed."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Right. Remember to act like you're actually patrolling."
<DeathStar> *Adeline uses spy glasses, then has her Striker uniform mimic what she sees, the Striker clothing turning into it* How does it look?
<DeathStar> *The Illium armor looking a bit big on her*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "A bit big, but authentic." *does similar*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks at Alt* "Your opinion?"
<DeathStar> <Alt Noire> It will pass if people are not paying too much attention. Illium after all do not look like someone like her. But if you keep our heads down
<DeathStar> <Alt Noire> And head straight
<Jackieness> <Noire> *turns to the others* "Got it? Adeline, share the uniform parameters with us please."
<DeathStar> *Adeline gives it out one by one for each of them based on their sizes*
<DeathStar> <Ren> *Does so* How do you know what my bust size is?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...you don't see me complaining, Ren."
<Sara> <Kaori> Probably... about a C? *she eyes Ren*
<DeathStar> *Ren gasps at Kaori*
<DeathStar> <Ren> C-riffic!
<Jackieness> <Noire> *stares at them flatly*
<DeathStar> *Alt Noire just begins to march*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Fall in." *falls in behind Alt Noire*
<DeathStar> *Ren and Adeline do so; Ren's tail whapping Kaori and Charlotte*
<Alicia> * Charlotte marches, using shapeshifting to make herself look more Illium-like
<Sara> <Kaori> Ack!
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Very good.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...Ren', tuck in that tail, soldier."
<DeathStar> *Ren jerks and focuses, pulling a Lorelei and the tail and ears vanish; probably the first time she's done so*
<DeathStar> *As they walk around, the other patrols only give them a passing glance for the time being as they reach the base door; a light glowing over them as Alt Noire steps into them. A guard staring at them and whispering into their device*
<DeathStar> *as they get further into the base proper, Alt Noire finally speaks* <Alt Noire> Since this is a labatory of sorts, it will likely be somewhere being studied
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I'm not sure how much time we have until we're discovered."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So research facilities."
<DeathStar> *Alt Noire nods and begins to follow the signs toward them; the labs look quite advanced, like something out of the PAX's Megumi labs*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Tell me a Megumi doesn't run this place
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Does this place have a Megumi?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga on comms> I can't remember if Alternate Megumi is alive - I know their Chii is living in our world
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Then let's think... where would Megumi keep this if she were."
<DeathStar> *Adeline thinks*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Probably in the most secure testing facility. This way
<DeathStar> *She begins to take the stairs*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *follows Adeline's lead*
<Alicia> * Charlotte follows
<DeathStar> *They soon arrive in an area with a lot of guards and scientists before a massive facility, full of technology that makes even Adeline raise eyebrows. There seems to be large machines running from the floor to the roof, running calculations and building things from weapons to computing things. And in the center in the far back is Model A hooked up to a massive mainframe, having tests run on it, computers running and computing on it*
<Alicia> * Charlotte looks over the computers. "I bet the moment we extract it, the alarms will go off."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Obviously."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Assuming we can even reach it
<DeathStar> <Ren> Go, Kaori! Sneak up and grab it.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around* "There's alot of weapons undergoing testing in here. What if there were an... accident?"
<DeathStar> <Alt Noire> *nods* And what sort of accident would you like?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Hm. *studies the area*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "There's still going to be an alarm... but if we make the place seem dangerous without specialised safety equipment..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Something with enough punch that it would look like it just happen to knock Model A free while everyone loses their minds."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> They are probably on different systems. But I could try to cause a distraction.
<Sara> * Kaori ... tries to sneak over
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I better move it
<DeathStar> *She heads to a weapon test while the people at Model A so far don't notice Kaori*
<DeathStar> *running their tests* <Model A> I'm a prisoner of war!
<DeathStar> *suddenly there's a mini noise from the weapon test further down*
<DeathStar> *As it begins to fire wildly*
<DeathStar> *drawing attention to it*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Model A has gone wild! Secure it quickly!"
<DeathStar> <Model A> I-I'm not wild, I swear!
<DeathStar> *The scientists workin on the project pull Model A off the wall and begin to put it into a container*
<DeathStar> <Model A> *muffled*
<Sara> * Kaori jerks
<DeathStar> <Scientist> *to Kaori* Come, let us secure it.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...this is perfect. we just need to make sure that scientist never gets to his destination."
<DeathStar> *Ren nods*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Good work. We'll take it from here."
<DeathStar> *they begin to walk away while the weapon test keeps firing*
<Sara> * Kaori shifty-eyes and moves over to take it, realizing she's somehow been mistaken as one of them
<DeathStar> *they hand it over to her* You know where it goes?
<Sara> <Kaori> Of course! *she salutes*
<DeathStar> <Model A> *muffled*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Yes, let us escort it. *She goes to walk with Kaori now. Wishing she could twitch her ear*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *falls in with the team as they escort Model A out*
<Sara> * Kaori walks along, surprised it worked out so easily
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...we need to figure out how to hide this contanment unit before we get stopped."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, this went surprisingly smoothly."
<Sara> <Kaori> Yep.
<DeathStar> <Alt Noire> Can't you make it vanish?
<DeathStar> *As she leads them back the way they came, Adeline joining them as a weapon bolt fries a scientist*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ren? Can you do anything?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Ah... Hm
<DeathStar> <Ren> If I dumped the weapons out of my subspace we'd be caught
<DeathStar> <Ren> So...
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...you really need to reduce what you keep in your subspace n case things like this happen."
<DeathStar> *Ren reaches out, her fingertips glowing a moment and touches the container in Kaori's hands; they glow blue and it vanishes, though Kaori can still feel it's there*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Nice illusion."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I adjusted reality so you're not seing it
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Good job. Kaori, you just need to hold it so its less obvious, and we cna walk right out the front door."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I can't say how long it'll last since my reality powers are weak now
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Let's move then."
<DeathStar> *As Adeline begins to lead them back up the stairs8
<DeathStar> *there appears to be a group of elite troops at the entrance*
<DeathStar> *The door man pointing at a picture of something and pointing the way they went*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Change of plans."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Can we hide while they pass?" *looks for a place to do so*
<DeathStar> *There are indeed lab rooms they can try to hide or go upstairs*
<DeathStar> *or back down*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Question will be how thorough they will search. Hopefully they go straight down
<Alicia> * Charlotte points out a good hiding place to the others. "If they pass by us, we can slip past."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads into a lab*
<DeathStar> *Ren heads into the labs with Kaori, shutting the door and ducking down; the troops beginning to pass, doing brief looks into the rooms on the way by*
<Sara> * Kaori gestures
<Jackieness> <Noire> *stays near the wall with the door so they cannot see her just by looking in through the door window*
<Alicia> * Charlotte likewise avoids windows
<DeathStar> *they seem to continue*
<DeathStar> <Ren> *lets out breath, ears popping out*
<Alicia> * Charlotte uses future vision before opening the door.
<Alicia> * Charlotte slips out once the coast is clear.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves out after Charlotte*
<DeathStar> *the doorman sits there, blinking and goes to say something when Ren leaps on him and sits where he was at*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Well, now all we have to do is get back across the field
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Good work."
<DeathStar> <Alt Noire> *muses* I suppose I will remain here - you all will be working on that Model A for a bit but the situation here will contiue to grow worse
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Will you be alright here?"
<DeathStar> <Alt Noire> I'll gather information about Zao and see about crippling the Illium forces. *As they step outside and try to casually walk across the field, Ren putting a hat on* And get you more infomation on these Heart people
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Stay safe."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And good fortune."
<DeathStar> *suddenly there's an explosion in the city somewhere and Illium forces begin to head that way*
<DeathStar> <Taiga on comms> I just got data - it looks like the Arcana Dragoons might have been cornerned
<Alicia> <Charlotte> *comms* "Lucky break for us."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Understood. We need someone to get Model A back to Asteroid C while the rest of us provide assistance."
<DeathStar> <Taiga on comms> Right. I'll...come retrieve it.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Only fair, I guess, to assist in response."
<DeathStar> *Taiga appears beside Kaori, lifting up the box, making it seem like she's floating up*
<DeathStar> *Alt Noire and Ren begin to head into the city, with Adeline trailing behind*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads with the team*
<Sara> * Kaori jerks
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I got this. Good luck, Kaori. <Model A> *annoyed muffle*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *exits*
<DeathStar> *as the team enters the city proper, there's fire already burning*
<DeathStar> *As the Illium tanks are bombing a city block*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... alright, I was a little hasty saying this was a lucky break for us..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> ... *scans, spotting the Arcana inside the warzone with looks like Alt Katrina and Aya, protecting them*
<DeathStar> *Haruki is dispelling attacks from hitting them with her moves and Haru is countering with blasts of her own, blowing up tanks*
<DeathStar> <Ren> They'll be overrun soon
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I can't see how we can take out all the Illium forces
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We don't. We just need to breach their line and create an opening."
<DeathStar> *Ren glances at the planes in the air, around 3, and the many tanks on the ground, as well as soldiers* Hm
<DeathStar> <Ren> I think that's up to you shadow girls
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Do we even need to be subtle any more?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> I can go all out but I'm not sure how much damage I Can do to Illium metal.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We're not sneaking now. We hit their back line and form a breach so the Arcana can escape."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Okay. Then let me do my best attacks
<DeathStar> *Ren begins to focus, a second Ren appearing*
<DeathStar> *They both encase themselves with foxfire like an armor, then dive into shadows*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *in the meantime, she raises her hand and begins forming a dark matter ball*
<Alicia> * Charlotte shadow dives herself, preparing to strike simultaneously with Noire
<DeathStar> *Ren leaps out of ground and uses her ultimate reality bend power with her duplicate in the middle of it, then both drop to the ground as a large chunk of the Illium forces begin to get bent and turned inside out and broken up, as if being erased*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *sends her dark matter ball into the air toward one of the planes, moving her hands like she was puppeteering it*
<DeathStar> *Illium, already in disarray, begins to get damaged and taken down*
<Alicia> * Charlotte tendrils Ilium as Noire does this, better at taking down the ground forces this way
<DeathStar> *The Arcana Dragoons begin to go on the offensive and join in, using their various skills to aid in the battle, designed by the Illium and it seems their powers quickly help in sending them packing. The sounded Katrina lets out a sigh of relief as the Illium planes try to drop a bomb but Adeline throws a disc and intercepts, blowing it in mid-air*
<DeathStar> *the hovertanks, which ones remain, try to fire shots as they retreat at everyone, and the planes, which few remain fire shots*
<Sara> * Kaori fires something medium at them
<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses ehr hands and splits the dark matter ball, before clapping to crash the plane between the collding balls*
<DeathStar> *The medium shot does a surprising fireblast, a huge fire storm rising up and washing over the enemies*
<DeathStar> *And leaving their Illium metal partially melted into the ground and taking out their return shots*
<Sara> <Kaori> Oops. *deadpan*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> At least I can check out their tanks now
<DeathStar> *as whatever enemies are left have run for it*
<DeathStar> *the two Rens meanwhile lay KOed and Haruki and Haru run over to join the team*
<DeathStar> <Aya> Your timing is most appreciated.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... you certainly delivered today, Strikers."
<Alicia> * Charlotte goes to move Ren(s) somewhere more comfortable
<DeathStar> *Haruki bows* We thank you for saving the President. <Katrina> And me
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... we shouldn't linger."
<DeathStar> <Aya> They are right. We need to hide and plan. <Haruki> Of course
<DeathStar> *Haruki begins to lead her people away. Haru nods*
<DeathStar> <Alt Noire> Good luck. *She heads her way too*
<DeathStar> *Taiga opens the gate while Adeline eyes the two Rens*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... double the trouble
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads through the gate*
<DeathStar> *Adeline TK drags one along through the gate if Charlotte needs help*
<DeathStar> *Taiga is sitting at her desk*
<DeathStar> *with Model A floating there, yammering annoyedly*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It won't let me study it at all
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... no wonder they practically buried it."
<Seraphna> <Si> I have a solution to that. **she holds forth rope**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I was thinking maybe someone should try to use it so I could get data before we take it back to Alouette and the others
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Any volunteers?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "If it'll let me."
<DeathStar> *the two Rens lay, tossed on the floor by Adeline, as she walks over. Model A floats over to Charlotte*
<Seraphna> Si> Or me. I like you studying me.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm.. how do we re-integrate the two Rens?"
<DeathStar> <Model A> You're not Grey. But.... *transforms Charlotte, giving her Mega Man A powers*. <Taiga> Mmmm. Interesting. *peers at Ren* She used a ton of power while split. Probably not a good idea. I'll wait until her vitals are more stable and try to wake them.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I imagine we'll be a few days while Ren recovers and I grab data. You all should rest too
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I feel like my copy powers just got a lot stronger."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Alright, Strikers, vacation starts now."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Right. Have fun Char
