<DeathStar> *the group, since they have arrived a few hours ago, have been avoiding massive amounts of human bodies with reploid data in them, patrolling the areas*
<DeathStar> <Ren> There's so many now. That damn Thomas. I thought Seraphna was suppose to be counteracting them
<DeathStar> *someone can be heard eating their rations in the backpack*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...Ren, check the food..."
<DeathStar> *Ren hmmm's and turns around, lifting the backpack off her back, peering inside to see Akatsuki in fox form inside it*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...at least she's not going hungry..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> ...*hangs her head* There goes my share
<DeathStar> *Taiga slides down a hill, back from scouting* I think I spotted something important; lets get past these patrols
<Seraphna> Jaime> What's that?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> That Skull Fortress Seraphna was in? It's crashlanded someways away.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "That was totally a villain lair anyway..."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Perhaps we should check there.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I was about to say it's gaudy, but there's some kind of charisma in not even hiding your nature."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "It radiates massive confidence, don't you think?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... maybe it was her turn to go evil like the sages did."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I kind of agree. I wonder what Adeline would think
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Oh, absolutely."
<DeathStar> *Ren creeps along the sand dunes, avoiding the humans. They move along, eyes glowing like robot scanners*
<DeathStar> *Taiga keeps low, like a fox*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *goes stealthily*
<Alicia> * Charlotte likewise sneaks
<DeathStar> *suddenly, there's a crashing sound as their watches indicate someone is coming from ASteroid C. Alouette rolls along the sand* <Alouette> Hey, wait for me!!
<DeathStar> *all the humans in the area turn toward her*
<DeathStar> *Taiga facepalms*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Why did Hess let her come. *She whispers*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...this is a breach of protocol..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well, Hess has never manned the gate before.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...get ready for combat."
<DeathStar> *The humans aim their hands and begin to fire at Alouette*
<DeathStar> <Alouette> Aieee?!
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "So much for sneaking in.
<Seraphna> **Jaime yanks her to sdafety**
<Alicia> "
<DeathStar> *Alouette is partially damaged, but at least she is alive*
<DeathStar> *but it also means the enemy has noticed the team now
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I think we need to run
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Let's move!" *heads for the skull ship*
<DeathStar> *Ren runs for it, while Alouette looks dazed*
<DeathStar> *Taiga hurries along the sand*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Come on, Alouette." *leads Alouette along rapidly*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *com* "Hess, Alouette has been wounded. Why did you let her throguh?!"
<DeathStar> <Hess on comms> She insisted that she had data that could aid you all in defeating the mastermind there. Sorry!
<DeathStar> *Taiga's eyes go golden and her tail number grows as she lifts off the ground and punches the sand so hard, a mini sand storm erupts behind the team*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "*comm* "Then message us before you do a drop in! We have an army after us now!"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> *comm* "But it could've been delivered by comm, surely?"
<DeathStar> *As it swirls, the group reaches the ship by the time the enemy begins to emerge, weapons armed; a figure steps out of the ship. Leviathan. <Leviathan> Hurry inside.
<DeathStar> <Hess on comms> I'll keep that in mind
<DeathStar> *Ren ducks as shots begin to strike the skull fortress*
<Alicia> * Charlotte nods to Leviathan as she slips inside
<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses her tendrils to haul her team into the ship*
<DeathStar> <Leviathan> *talks to XX, and others* <Leviathan> I'll distract the enemy while you get the shields up
<DeathStar> *She swings her weapon and heads out*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> **comms** PULL THOSE LEVERS!
<DeathStar> *inside, it's clear the fortress has taken quite a lot of damage, with rooms sparking and lighting lickering. Soma and Fuyu are zooming around trying to make makeshift repairs*
<DeathStar> *Some rooms are so damaged it looks like they're completely crashed in*
<Jackieness> <XX> *ries to get the shields up*
<DeathStar> *XX would see that to get the right amount of power, she'll have to balance it like some Resident Evil puzzle*
<Jackieness> <XX> "...how annoying..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Why would you design it like that?
<DeathStar> *Taiga props Alouette against the wall; it looks like she's taken damage to the right part of her chest plate and arm*
<Jackieness> <XX> "Because she is crazy." *tries to get it power balanced*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How does it look?"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I didn't want to say it myself."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Reploids thankfully are pretty sturdy. Even non-fighter types like Alouette. We just need to have her avoid combat.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> Push more buttons!
<Jackieness> <XX> "I am pushign all the buttons!"
<Seraphna> **Seraphna picks up Allouette and puts her on a table, starting to fix her, she is amazing strong considering she's gotten even shorter**
<DeathStar> *As XX manages to restore shields,which is good since there's no sign of Leviathan anymore and the attacks are now hitting the Fortress*
<DeathStar> <Alouette> Ah. Thank you, Miss
<Seraphna> **Seraphna nods and smiles, quickly patching her up** Ah a classic design. One of my own I think.
<DeathStar> *Soma slows down* <Ren> It feels like you all were swarmed. <Fuyu> Thomas unleashed all the human bodies with reploid data. And we believe he's moving onto stage 2 of his plan.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Which is?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> Cheeky rascal.
<Seraphna> **Jaime sours** Wind came from a really screwed up reality.
<DeathStar> <Soma> We believe he's going to take over the Humanoids
<Jackieness> <Noire> "..the Humanoids?"
<DeathStar> <Alouette> It's what I went here to learn about.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> It's what you get when you start crossing animals and robots. **she says as a robot frog hops by**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "OK... Alouette, give us your information then."
<DeathStar> <Alouette> To make Reploids and Humans more equal, they created a law. Basically.
<DeathStar> <Alouette> To create equality between humans and Reploids, Legion created a law that humans must have mechanical parts, and Reploids have lifespans. Since both are now treated as humans, the only difference between them is that human-like Reploids have a red triangle on their forehead. Humans who have reached a certain age are given the same mechanical body as Reploids, and can replace part or all of their bodies with machines, with the original body parts being stored at a national facility,

<DeathStar> <Soma> Who became Humanoids
<Seraphna> Seraphna> This is why I stopped pretending to be human.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Something feels very bad about the laws being set by someone called Legion."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...pardon me...but that is insane troll logic."
<DeathStar> <Soma> So Phase 2 is now Phase 2 I think is going to go after the Humanoid bodies
<DeathStar> <Soma> That they gave them.
<DeathStar> <Soma> Not just the old ones

<Seraphna> **Seraphna starts tapping her comms** Leviathan, get your broken butt back here now. It's been more than enough time.

<DeathStar> *Levithan crashes through the skull eye*

<Jackieness> <XX> "Well, I thought you were scrap and I would ahev to do all this myself."

<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I remember thinking combining organic and reploid parts seemed like a good idea at one point..."

<DeathStar> <Ren> I don't know enough about them to know either way
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The funny thing is I thought that Alouette had done the Humanoid process to herself
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Hence her age up
<Seraphna> Seraphna> No just a very large upgrade. The higher marks of the original Reploids were near human as was.
<DeathStar> *Alouette returns with a device* Okay, I think I know where his lair might be. B-But you should becareful since this is where all these things are coming from
<DeathStar> <Alouette> And if he is there, security will be tight. *She holds out the device to Noire*
<DeathStar> *it looks like it's quite some distance - a vehicle will be needed*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *takes the device* "If we can get Thoas, we can cut the head off of the serpent."
<DeathStar> <Leviathan> Hm, Seraphna - anything flying still work?
<Seraphna> **Seraphna muses and checks** Well there's always BEAT, but... hmmm...
<Alicia> * Akatsuki hums a tune
<Seraphna> Seraphna> There's John's old Love Shuttle.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...Love...Shuttle?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Uncle John was here too?
<Alicia> * Akatsuki imagines a cute pink shuttle shaped like a heart
<DeathStar> *Ren pats Akatsuki*
<DeathStar> *Leviathan moves to take the shuttle*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *eyes the shuttle* "... .... ..."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> So many cuddly memories.
<DeathStar> <Alouette> I'll come. <Taiga> Stay here. <Ren> I swear there's this smell
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "Not pink enough."

<DeathStar> *Ren makes sure to put Akatsuki in the backpack before putting it in the seat*
<Seraphna> **Jaime peers around** It's certainly got a lot of room to move around in...
<Jackieness> <Noire> *makes a face as she sits in the shuttle*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "This is a disappointment in so many ways."
<Seraphna> **Jaime peers over some pictures** This looks like Elayne, the Atlean abassador.
<DeathStar> *Leviathan has XX be her co pilot with the twins, Soma and Fuyu in the back; the shuttle cranks up and zooms out in super speeD*
<DeathStar> *the shuttle speeding along in rapid speed*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *makes a surprised noise, holding on*
<Jackieness> <XX> "This shuttle is highly visible and impractical."
<DeathStar> <Leviathan> That is true.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, it was John's shuttle..."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> He rather liked flying in heroically.
<DeathStar> *Akatsuki would spot a big cool button, calling to her*
<Seraphna> **Seraphna speaks on the comms**
<Alicia> * Akatsuki reaches for the button, then stops as Seraphna speaks up
<DeathStar> *dice jiggle*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Alright, it looks like we're getting close. *as they near the location, the map shows a rather normal looking facility that would normally not stand out, but the scans show a lot of hidden enemies on the ground and in the air are patrols of ships*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Alot of heat on the ground and in the air."
<DeathStar> <Soma> My sister and I could go down there and try to do something
<Alicia> * Akatsuki pauses, then presses the button!
<DeathStar> *the shuttle lights up and disco music plays, the seats vibrating and John begins to sing in a seductive voice*
<DeathStar> *Also, as the seats shake about, another button is revealed, this time a weapon button*
<DeathStar> <Ren> W-What the hell is this?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What the?!"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... Ah, my ears.
<DeathStar> *she flattens them*
<Seraphna> Seraphna> Ah lovely~ you didn't mention you brought a hatchling into battle though. They are quite useful.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Finally!" *hits the weapon button*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Wait. Why does the weapon button appear when the shuttle is in disco mode?!"
<DeathStar> *The shuttle begins to unleash a barrage of missiles into the air and ground*
<DeathStar> *it beeps empty after a moment as the area smokes, craters all over*
<Jackieness> <XX> "... ... ...so...it just fires everything it has...no chance to aim or stop firing..."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> I have been instructed to inform you that you have exceeded the budget.
<DeathStar> <Megumi> The shuttle cannot be restocked due to you emptying it
<DeathStar> *what forces remain advance and Soma and Fuyu exit and zoom after them; the disco music and vibrating continuing* <Ren> At least you seem to have taken out 80% of it
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Maybe design your shuttle better in future?"
<Jackieness> <XX> "The budget is annoying!"
<Seraphna> **Jaime warps out and starts helping them with her own progenitor kickassery**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...why is there even a budget when there is clearly no fucntioning economy anymore?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> John designed it. I just built it as he wanted. He was... DEEPLY convincing.
<DeathStar> <Megumi> ... *sniffs, sounding offended*
<DeathStar> <Megumi> You know how much money this mad woman spends a day?
<Seraphna> Seraphna> DRONES! FETCH THE MECHA PARTS!
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I have an idea."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Again... no economy means all money is worthless."
<DeathStar> <Megumi> Wind will be resinstated as President like the old days. Money will soar again
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, we need to save this world first..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Charlotte, let's hear it."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I meant how much she spends."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> That or a new economy will rise around exploring ruins and we will call money ZENNY!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...anyway... finding Thomas and saving the world."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... Seraphna really wants to be an archaeologist..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I get that feeling
<DeathStar> *Lev lands at the base*
<DeathStar> *she opens the shuttle door and steps out as a giant mechaloid raises it's fists to smash the back of the shuttle*
<DeathStar> *Leviathan rushes to stab it with her trident like weapon as it smashes down*
<Jackieness> <XX> *flies out and attacks the mechanoid with her buster*
<DeathStar> *the combined attacks damage it, with both XX and Leviathan partially being crushed down, but Leviathan taking the brunt of it. Infact, Leviathan's trident seems to have shielded XX enough that only a bit of her shoulder caved in while Leviathan kneels*
<DeathStar> *Ren has to crawl out of the bent shuttle back*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *pulls herself out of the shuttle*
<DeathStar> *Taiga gets out as well; the giant damaged mechaloid tries to charge up to explode*
<Alicia> * Charlotte pushes it away as much as possible with TK
<DeathStar> *it is shoved backwards*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Everyone, stay down.
<DeathStar> *The mechaloid blows up the front entrance of the base, sending debris everywhere*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... convenient."
<DeathStar> *Leviathan sits, opting to guard the shuttle after the damage*
<Seraphna> **Jaime lands, rejoining the others**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Alright lets do this. *Ren creeps into the hole slowly*
<Seraphna> **Seraphna mumbles over the comms** Used to crash it too but we weren't looking where he was flying.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I think I heard TMI
<Jackieness> <XX> "I'll go in."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads into the exposed entrance*
<Jackieness> <XX> *hangs back to guard their rear as the descend*
<DeathStar> *the group enters the base where surprisingly there is no sign of anyone*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Odd
<DeathStar> *Ren looks around the entrance bay*
<DeathStar> *it looks to be a typical bay to bring in supplies for stuff and so Ren walks along through the base, where cameras are watching them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...security cameras."
<DeathStar> *as they walk along, they reach a large elevator bay that goes downward* <Taiga> Hm. *She eyes the device given by Alouette, the signals coming from down below*
<DeathStar> <Ren> We have to go down there?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "NAturall. The villain is always on the bottom or top floor. This is a subterranean base, so its bottom."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Bets that there will be 8 guardians on the way?
<DeathStar> *As they get on the elevator, Taiga sends them downward*
<Jackieness> <XX> "How annoying if there are."
<DeathStar> *As they reach the bottom, the area is full of fleshy muck all over, with cords and wires hooked into it.*
<DeathStar> *the entire lower level seems to have bodies and capsules as well*
<DeathStar> *and screens with data flashing by with strange words flashing*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Is Thomas is now a mutated flesh blob?"
<Seraphna> **jaime eyes the data**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... *Walks along the flesh floor when Thetis swings his lance at her, clipping her ear, making her drop and howl*
<DeathStar> *As she hits the ground, the flash begins to crawl over her, incorporating her*
<Jackieness> <XX> *fires at Thetis with her buster*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Crap, mom!
<DeathStar> *He leaps back, trying to avoid XX*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries to pull Taiga free with ehr tendrils*
<Jackieness> <XX> *steps forward* "Fight me."
<DeathStar> *Ren helps Noire, pulling Taiga free who pants, her clipped ear healed. Thetis hmphs, then swings his lance and dashes at XX, going in at her*
<Jackieness> <XX> *fires her jet packa dn then flies at Thetis, charging her buster*
<Seraphna> **Jaime warps behind him as he commits to his attack and throws a chunk of metal at his back**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Taiga, can you still puzzle out these machines?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga nods and moves over to study*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *guards Taiga*
<DeathStar> *Thetis is double teamed and uss his water stream to strike at both*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *flies in a zigzag fashion to try to avoid the streams*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It looks like he's trying to make a new type of human transformation that will take ages. And I think I'm detecting ... Illium tech here.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It's why more advance than it should be for this reality. ... It looks like it might be coded to something in space.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...at this stage, not a surprise. They will invitably betray him though."
<Seraphna> **Jaime forms a stone wall to push the water away from her, then slams the wall at him**
<DeathStar> *He's knocked back and then tries to flip andk nock into the flesh so hard it's knocked at Jaime and XX*
<Seraphna> **jaime grabs XX and warps them to the side**
<Jackieness> <XX> *fires ehr buster at Thetis right after they warp*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *Tries to trace where the signal to space goes to*
<DeathStar> *Thetis is knocked down and sparks; when the sparking appears, the flesh begins to climb all over him and engulfs him*
<DeathStar> *Ren bashes him to make sure he doesn't escape it*
<Jackieness> <XX> "And good riddance."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Okay, I think I got a location down -- there's still stuff down here. *She points at a hallway.* <Ren> There's people in the chambers. I can't tell if they're alive or not. <Taiga> I think they're humanoids that they're experimenting on for the space station.
<Jackieness> <XX> "We're here now, so we may as well do what we can."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> I miss the old Station. Dominator had to go and fly it into the ocean...
<DeathStar> *Taiga muses as they move to the hallway*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...what do you think, Taiga?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Hm? Just taking note of the station in the ocean. Interesting trivia. Might be worth---- *As they enter the next part of the base, it seems to be a command center when legions of the humans with reploid data pour out, surrounding them; even more come out from the area they were just in*
<DeathStar> <Ren> ... oh great.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well... this screams trap.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... and when do we hear the villain speech over the intercom?"
<DeathStar> *one of the humans holds up comm* <Thomas> How much do you all know? And where is Seraphna?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ah, there it is. Mmmm... we know enough that the Illium will inevitably betray you as your vision has no place in their grand order."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> You seem quite familiar with them. And the location of your mad scientist friend?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'm not her keeper."
<DeathStar> *Taiga and Ren count them all while Thomas seems to be thinking*
<DeathStar> <Thomas> *gives a coded message to his people and the comm is put up*
<DeathStar> *The reploids direct the group along away from the command center back toward the previous room*
<DeathStar> (humanoids)
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks at the others*
<DeathStar> *Taiga indicates there's a lot of them, but that they need to do something, especially as they seem to be being led toward the fleshy capsules*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... very well..." *looks at Jaime* "You and XX... rock their world." *jerks her head back to the command center*
<DeathStar> *The humans reach out with a sharp blade, preparing to cut them and shove them into the capsules*
<DeathStar> *Ren tenses*
<Seraphna> **Jaime with ahand on XX warps the both of them away a bit and starts TK shocing a bunch of the huumaoids around**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *then flings mini dark matter balls out at the 'humans'*
<DeathStar> *Taiga swings her weapons as Noire and Jaime attacks, and Ren goes on the offensive*
<Jackieness> <XX> "Get us into that command center, then use your walls to lock the army out while I damage Thomas' toys."
<DeathStar> *Chaos ensues with the massive group of enemies; the dark matter balls of course does a lot of damage due to the large amount of them, but due to the overwhelming, the jump Taiga and she goes down into fleshy ground*
<DeathStar> <Ren> ... *leaps and rushes for it, suffering cuts along the way*
<DeathStar> *Jaime gets a cut herself, flesh creeping up her body*
<DeathStar> *XX is safe due to being a reploid*
<DeathStar> *So they try to blast her*
<Seraphna> **jaime glows with hyperspace
<Jackieness> <XX> *uses her jetpack to try to evade while charging up her buster*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... let's try something different..." *stabs her tendrils into the flesh and tries to 'infect' it with dark energy*
<DeathStar> *it bubbles a little in a small area with darkness*
<DeathStar> *A group of four leap on Noire, swinging with blades*
<Seraphna> **Jaime burns the flesh on her and starts blasting at more of them**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *forms her Dark Edge and tries to parry the attack* "I got their attention!"
<DeathStar> *Jaime blasts people away as Ren taps on the computer, beginning to lock the previous room down* Come in! Hurry!
<DeathStar> *the surge of people try to grab Jaime, XX, and Noire*
<Jackieness> <XX> *tries to evade the surge of people*
<DeathStar> *XX shakes them off*
<Seraphna> **Jaime grabs Noire and warps in**
<Jackieness> <XX> *then turns and then unloads every weapons Seraphna installed in her toward the command center*
<DeathStar> *Ren ducks as she does that, being in there with the computers; the systems blowing up*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Aieee!
<DeathStar> *Ren sits up afterward*
<Jackieness> <XX> *flops forward*
<DeathStar> *The command system is now a charred room; the flesh room sealed off still*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...well...that was a thing..."
