<Seraphna> Jaime> If you mean mine... well we're hoping we might be able to extend their relationship to Geyze here. They are after all, mostly our family now.
<ChadWinters> Hopefully other regions don't see this is the Suisen Empire gathering up more power.

<DeathStar> *Lenneth stares, and shakes her head, propping her head up, tapping a pen like device on her datapad* Well, speaking about Geyze and Kumen and spirit-tech, I know Ymir has been busy with Tora rebooting the Net. There has been promising signs that we might see a new type of Net soon.
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> I'm hoping it might even benefit other races
<ChadWinters> And with it a whole potential new security issue many will have to prepare for.

<DeathStar> <Lenneth> Right. Taiga has the reality device prepped. She wants to know if there are any volunteers. One moment. *she turns on the screen where Taiga is working from her lab where Ren, Noire, even X is there it looks like*
<Seraphna> Jaime> It would be interesting to see other realities.

<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** Well the only ones Vyvy isn't clinging to are my daughter, Soren, and the surviving old guard.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Not wrong so much as... keeping them out of activity is weaking their stance with the rest of Geyze.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "by all accounts, she collects them like anime figurines."
* ChadWinters stands there listening.
<Seraphna> Jaime> If the spirits can't regularly answer the calls of their people, the people begin to lose their respect.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "That makes sense."
<Xanatos> <Marcus> One time I called for help from Chad and he didn't help, now I can't stand him.

<DeathStar> *Ren gets her wristwatch, then puts one on Noire and Jaime as Adeline arrives*

* ChadWinters glances at Taiga. 1"Kids and their rebel years." He notes about Id, his tone making it hard to tell if he's joking.

<DeathStar> *The group materalizes on what appears to be Kumen
<DeathStar> *Ren looks around* Well this doesn't appear to be so bad. *She holds up her hands, eyeing the neon lights and rain hitting her eyes*
<Seraphna> Jaime> INteresting how the location is always so different from where we left.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So...we're here. What now?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> You wanted to appear on an asteroid that Mom just recently repaired?
<Seraphna> Jaime> We get a sense of what's going on in this reality.
<Seraphna> Jaime> No but... it's like we teleport and reality shift at the same time.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "It's interesting, but I wouldn't complain about being here and not on the asteroid."
<DeathStar> *their wristwatch begins to talk, though crackly* <Taiga> Did you touch down fine?
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus starts doing the localized scans so Taiga has some data to compare against.
<ChadWinters> <Id> It's a good thing it's not point to point and is flexible otherwise those who need oxygen would die.
<Seraphna> Jaime> On... Kumen we think.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> *c* We're here Taiga, running scans.
<DeathStar> <Taiga on watch> Then I managed to transport you fine. The change in reality should be something to do with that location
<ChadWinters> 6Id scans the skys, looking for markers up there to hopefully try and pin point there location as long as things are relatively the same
<DeathStar> *As Marcus gathers data, something begins to approach them in the darkness of the Kumen streets*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If this turns out to be a mugger...I will be annoyed."
<Seraphna> **Jaime peers over through the darkness**
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "There are a lot of worse things it could be... but a mugger is just a waste of time, yes."
<DeathStar> *As Noire says that, a large peacekeeper like machine approaches, with Ymir's brand; a mechanical voice speaks* Halt. Identify yourself. Scanning for ID. ID lacking. Stand still for arrrest and processing. *more begin to appear out of the darkness, towering over the group*
<Xanatos> <Marcus> *c* We're being arrested.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...and these are?"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Man, Ymir's robots are rude."
<Seraphna> Jaime> You didn't even pause for us to make an ID.
<DeathStar> <Taiga on wristwatch> Do you want to be extracted?
<Seraphna> Jaime> I mean, I could happily pound these robots to scrap.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> *c* Can you pull us out even if we don't go through portal? If so let us get arrested and find out more?
<DeathStar> <Taiga on wrist> I can make a new portal at a new location, it'll just take time
<DeathStar> *The robots begin to fire stun rays*

<DeathStar> *Ren jerks and ducks*
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus considers and then jerks at the rays, trying to move to avoid.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "We could just break out if this... oh come on!"
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Nevermind, stomp their faces.
<Alicia> * CHarlotte ducks under the rays. "You have my permission to just trash the thing."
<DeathStar> *Someone from the darkness fires on the robots, and lands on them, leaving explosives*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps away with a tendril-assisted boost* "are we allowed to slag these machines?!"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Nope, this sort of force is absurd. **she sidesteps and sends a blast at one of the robots**
<ChadWinters> <Id> Interesting. 6Id floats about, moving to dodge.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Good work, Jaime and mystery individual."
<DeathStar> *the robots are damaged and blown up; the figure adjusts their trench coat and Asarar eyes the team, having a slight burn mark on her face* .... *she motions at the darkness at some figure*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> This might be a trap.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Asarar.
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus slowly and subtley...takes a picture of Asarar's face.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I'll take that into consideration."

<Jackieness> <Noire> "I think she suggests that we might eb he trap."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I don't even know what I'd be a trap for."
<Seraphna> Jaime> **rolls her eyes** Is everyone in this place so agressive?

<Xanatos> <Marcus> Uh. Hello. We're not from around here. You saved us again?

<DeathStar> *Asarar seems to have joined Kira and Logan, who is missing his arm and gotten a robo arm with rocket launchers*

<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, pretty sure I understand what happened now."
<Jackieness> <Kira> *moves on ahead to scout the way*
<Seraphna> **Jaime raises a brow** Hmm... so what happened to Luci? She was very vocal about trusting Ymir.
<Xanatos> 6* Logan keeps leering over his shoulder, though there is a bit of a sag in his shoulder at shunning her.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Who knows, but after we rebooted the Net and the Towers came online, she had Kumen under her control - every camera and piece was under her control.* Luci? Luci's dead.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> How was she able to do this alone? Surely you would need help.
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns, nodding to Marcus as that very well might be the change for this timeline**
<DeathStar> *Ren pauses, and Charlotte would sense she hears something at the end of the tunnel*
<Alicia> * Charlotte tilts her head, trying to hear it too. <What's that?>
<DeathStar> <Ren> Sounds like something flying?>
<Seraphna> Jaime> Also, how did she die? When?
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Who knows who helped her. As for who killed Luci, someone killed her - poisoned her meat.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Shhhhh."
<Alicia> * Charlotte nods to Noire.
<DeathStar> *Asarar pauses and the osund if something approaching the tunnel can be heard, flying toward them*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Down!!
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Yeah, something's coming."
<Alicia> * Charlotte grabs Ren and gets down
<Seraphna> **Jaime ducks before the yell, crouching low**
<Xanatos> 6* Logan slides to the sight, getting low.
<DeathStar> *blasts come flying down the tunnel and Asarar drops; Ren is saved by Charlotte*
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus drops to his belly, making a face
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves for cover*
<DeathStar> *the peacekeepers fly by down the tunnel; but they clearly are about to U-turn back*
<DeathStar> *Asarar smokes, having been hit*
<Xanatos> 6* Logan raises up, firing rocket arm
<DeathStar> *Logan blows them up*
<Seraphna> **Jaime turns and points, firing Hyperspace at their backs**
<DeathStar> *And Jaime gets the rest*
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus sits up, making a face at sewer gunk being on him.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Amazing how simply everything fits into place from just a few missing details."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Did this happen before or after the net was shut down?
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Oh damn, is she okay? 6* He look at Asarar
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Tend to her quickly and move on. They will undoubtedly send reinforcements to investigate why their drones went dark."

<Xanatos> 6* Logan shifts to kneel by Asarar, checking on her.

<DeathStar> *Asarar just gushes more blood out at being lifted up*
<Xanatos> <Logan> Kira is going to kill you all if you can't save her. 6* He moves to take her from Jaime and moves on.
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and cortorizes her wounds**
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Fucking wrap her wounds you idiots.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Oh, so now it's my fault."

<Seraphna> Jaime> This will suck for her but it's better than bleeding out.

<Xanatos> 6* Logan whistles down the tunnel for Kira.
<Seraphna> **Jaime burns the wounds closed, it's not pretty but it should stop the bleeds, she then uses one of those healing pills, giving it to her**
<Jackieness> <Kira> *thumps on the wall three times*
<Xanatos> <Logan> Asarar's Down. 6* He moves in that direction with her after giving Jaime time to do her thing.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> ...sorry I called you an idiot Jaime, you're smarter than me. Heat of the moment yaknow.
<DeathStar> *Asarar gives no response; even though she's a biotect, she's more organic than biotect and suffered major damage and blood loss. What sparks there are showing up is in her gut/chest area due to how deep the shots were, indicating what biotect parts that are in her have been pierced. It seems she is shut down right now*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I Think she needs a real doctor.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Where would one find a safe doctor?"
<ChadWinters> 6Id floats over Asarar and scans her body.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Oh yeah. Just keep her alive until then."
<Seraphna> Jaime> It's fine. And she does, I only know basic first aid from Jennifer.
<ChadWinters> <Id> I could perform it if I had extremities.

<DeathStar> <Aya> Our world has not had that problem due to the many wars on Earth. *she watches the blood silently as Evette takes a few tubes, making sure to have some back ups* If there is a reality roving pirate group out there, I see only two solutions. Find a way to close the gateways again or renew the alliance with your world and Wind's. Even with the alliance, though, finding a pirate band that just goes from reality to reality will be troublesome depending on how many worlds there might be now.

<DeathStar> *Aya muses* I suppose I can look into it. My dad ... As you know, Angela raised me while working with Alexander Cran to having a pilot mess with Cheryl so she wouldn't question her. I don't know if dad died or went under cover to stop her since he didn't have any allies at the time. A body definitely showed up but you know how smart you are. She even faked when she was caught that she was being held against her will. Years later she was busted but by the damage was done. Dawn had become Cheryl's pilot and was working on helping her. And I was sort of being watched by everyone. Angela's a better person now. I made the ressurection machine to try to help the damage done in the past. But many people think it's an abomination.
<DeathStar> *Aya shrugs* Maybe it is. *She agrees wistfully* I know my version of you thinks it's not right

<DeathStar> <Aya> I studied a lot of books. It's meant to try to bring back the real thing. Calling the soul back into a cloned body, but nothing is guarenteed in life. I still have research to do in everything.

<DeathStar> <Aya> That is a complicated answer. *she moves and eyes the wall, and one can tell it's a troubled answer for she is eyeing the walls like Aya might do when thinking really hard as she traces the lines on it* I had samples of dad and it was late at night, ready to bring him back as the machine was for him partially - as well as other heroes. I remember the storm outside as I had the sample loaded in and everything ready when a power outage occurred. I told me what staff that was with me that night - I did not have a lot with me at the beginning - to go restore the back up while I made sure on somthing in the next room. When the power was restored there was a noise in the room like the machine had started up and lights and as I walked in, it was indeed rumbling, but I believe in error mode and dad was standing there with a haggard look. There was no way he could have been ressurected that fast. He was eyeing the machine and told me that it was wrong to do this and taht I should stop before leaving.

But given what you've told me, there's no way he...I could react that fast under those circumstance unless I had been watching you and waiting. So my instinct says he's the real deal. Which explains your hesitancy over continuing this project.
