<Chaintan> <Ruhi> its like i cant figure out if those daemons want kids or might be why theres no grown ups, if we cant figure out what they want, we cant really do much other than hit them when we encounter them

<Chaintan> <Ruhi> exactly, cause if they were just gobbling up kids, then we know we arent safe. But all the grown ups are gone so it seems all the more odd

<DeathStar> *Seniga hops down and glances around the Dark Lands; it looks like any other place, except the plant life and tree life looks much darker than the Hapian and Academy they were at, along with purple plants and the aether here being more dark magic inclined*

<DeathStar> *As she says that, there's a sound on the road - a carriage and wagon*
<DeathStar> *approaching steadily*
<DeathStar> *Cloé flails and rolls behind the trees*

<DeathStar> *Seniga nods and takes Ruhi behind the trees; passing them seems to be full of daemon adults and children from other regions. The Daemon adults seem to be frowning as they carried off in what looks to be some sort carriage cage*

<Jackieness> <Bella> "Ummm..what oes it mean though?"
<DeathStar> *As she says that, their school communication device flashes and a voice is heard* Children, can you hear me?
<DeathStar> *Seniga blinks and glances down, pointing at Bella*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Ummm..." *holds up the comm* "Yes?"
<DeathStar> <Voice> Thank goodness. I hadn't heard from you in almost a day now. Is everyone alright?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Ummm... we were just on Kumen. Now we're on the Purple Place."
<DeathStar> <Voice> The magic in your communication charms is telling me you're far into the Dark Lands. I take it you have learned a little about what is happening. I would have rather brought you to me, but that would be difficult now.
<Chaintan> <Ruhi> not like we had much options...
<DeathStar> <Voice> I'll try to get you out of there and explain what has happened. I'll send some help to your location. <Seniga> Uh, do we know what is happening?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Ummm...ok."
<DeathStar> <Voice> Just becareful of approaching the Capital. A coup has happened. Those who have done it seem to have caused the commotion

<DeathStar> <Voice> I believe they might be behind the disappearance of everyone

<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks at the others* "This seems weird though."

<Jackieness> <Bella> "Why did she call them communication charms?"
<DeathStar> *Seniga shrugs and opens the communication device* Lets find out*

<DeathStar> *Seniga pops open the metal casing and inside seems to be a magical talisman of sorts that most likely has a duplicate somewhere else*
<DeathStar> *Seniga puts the caseless charm up where they'll no doubt lose it, walking along the road*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Ummmm...ok..."
<Chaintan> 6*Ruhi sighs and shakes her head
<DeathStar> *As they approach a village along the way; it seems something is happening inside, with soldiers rounding people up*
<DeathStar> *Cloé flails's the armor's arms and turns to go back*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> *crouches* Think we should go see what is up or go around?

<DeathStar> *She keeps an eye on the chaos in the village from a distance; it looks like the soldiers, wearing certain markings on their arm, are behind the round up of both adults and children; Cloé stomps along after the group*

<Alicia> * Sparkling pauses, then nods, firing off a magical firework to explode behind the soldiers, making the launched part as hidden as possible, and the explosion as loud and easily seen as possible... which is pretty loud and visible.

<DeathStar> *As Bella controls them along, they soon escape the soldiers and hit the open road*

<DeathStar> *As they approach the Dark Lands capital, it seems to be a massive city with a large tower in it. It's immediately clear something is off about it with the number of soldiers standing guard around the gates into the city. Sabrina lands by the carriage*

<DeathStar> *that
<Jackieness> <Bella> *stops the carriage*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Something is definitely going on there."
<DeathStar> <Seniga> How do we get through the gates?
<Seraphna> Nell> Are those adults?
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Yeah, it looks like there are some adults alive in the Dark Lands
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I definitely missed something."
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *uses magic to spy ahead* These soldiers have arm bands with some sort of symbol*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We woke up and the adults all disappeared!"
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "So, you don't know much more than me, then."
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Well, my job is to get you all into the city. Sparkling?
<Seraphna> Nell> Like magic symbol or bad fashion symbol?
<DeathStar> *Sabrina shrugs* I don't know. Could be a house symbol*
<Alicia> * Sparkling attempts to work out if it's magic
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> I'll attack the front gate and provide distraction. You get these kids inside and help them find clues to what they're looking for. After that, help them meet with the Queen.
<Alicia> * She has no clue if it's a fashion or house symbol though!
<DeathStar> *Sabrina zooms forward to the gate and begins her attack/distraction*
<DeathStar> *soon the gate is cleared as Sabrina aggros it*

<Jackieness> <Bella> *starts driving for the gate*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "It's a magic symbol... I wonder what it does"
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Umm... maybe it keeps them from poofing like our parents."

<DeathStar> *As they enter the city, for the most part it seems normal; but they'd find a lot of the citizes that are adult have the strange armbands on*

<DeathStar> *however, it does feel like the city has lost a lot of it's population*

<Jackieness> <Bella> "If we got the armbands off of one of them, we coudl see what would happen..."

<DeathStar> *after a bit of work and some vampire search spells, the group stands before a low rent neighborhood*

The maid guides them to a large comfy couch and beautiful paintings of both the Dark lands and Hapian art styles*

<DeathStar> *Seniga sinks into the couch and Cloé opens the armor and steps out, leaping onto the couch to sink into it*

<DeathStar> <Rain> With Shade and the spirit situation, the Dark Lands had become the perfect ... boiling pot and this person used Tenebrae's name to cease power. And made promises. Shinobu mentioned one of them was to seize control of all the leaders of Geyze
<DeathStar> <Rain> Their minds and change them to benefit the Dark Lands
<DeathStar> <Seniga> I'm still not quite follow
<DeathStar> <Rain> I believe she did a spell that has allowed her to take hold of everyone in such a way to supplement thoughts and make them stick.
<DeathStar> <Rain> I'd have to look into it more to tell you what type of spell that is though
<Seraphna> Nell> Yeah but why did our parents poof from that?

<Alicia> <Sparkling> "So the magic sign was a control sigil!"

<DeathStar> <Rain> Well. They could be in the tower. Or she is holding them somewhere else in the Dark Lands, awaiting her brainwashing

I imagine the spell in itself was used to "stop" the parents and allow the Daemons to take them. I've been studing them, but it might help you. Take this to Selena

<DeathStar> *Selena warps them via the map into a dark chamber. Cloé freaks out in her armor and begins to run into walls. Death floats in the chamber, looking and studies them; the controls are in down form, two lock downs are the far end of the room*
