<DeathStar> *Cloé's armor rolls and she stands up in it all wobbily like while Seniga follows Kito the large dining hall where Selena is waiting and Nicolette seems to have returned. Various breakfast foods line up the table*

<DeathStar> *Seniga takes a seat and Cloé reluctantly gets out of the armor, sitting down*

<DeathStar> *She rises and glides out, motioning to Luna to follow*
<DeathStar> *Cloé slides into her personal mech and closes up, stomping after Selena, clumsily getting through the door way to get into the throne room*
<Seraphna> **Nell brings two more pancake steak sandwiches for the road and slides more into her subspace**

<DeathStar> *As they arrive in the throne room, they find Soren and Nell in the room. Some sort of barrier is up, because the group feels themselves passing through something*

<Alicia> * Sparkling blinks a little as she passes through.

<DeathStar> <Soren> It is a barrier to help not detect us spirits. I believe whoever took the adults is also after us. And I think you. I haven't been able to get in touch with Nocturne and Tenebrae. And my other spirits have insisted they're fine right now being further outside the field of influence.

<DeathStar> <Selena> Everyone went to bed a few nights ago and when you woke up, the adults over the age of 21 was missing. And Daemons from the Dark Lands were invading and after you
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I wonder how they vanished."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Since then we've learned that a coup has occurred there and Shinobu has been ousted and a spell was used to make this happen.
<DeathStar> <Selena> By her elder sibling, the previous leader of the Dark Lands who had gone mad. They used the chaos of Shade being gone and claiming Tenebrae, Shade's successor, was behind her
<DeathStar> <Selena> Do I have the jist of all this so far?
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Seems so."
<Ariel> * Nicolette nods thoughtfully.
<Seraphna> Terra> Is silly cuz we know what took our mommas…
<Seraphna> Terra> But then they took more Mommas. Makes Terra… not happy!
<DeathStar> <Selena> Here is where things become hazy. 1) Rain was unaffected by the spell, perhaps due to her vampiric nature and 2) she said the adults were still in the Dark Lands somewhere. So they have not vanished completely
<DeathStar> <Selena> So were they teleported?
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Probably... and didn't Rain say it was something to do with age? Probably."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Well, here is something else about the spell that might help.
<Seraphna> Nell> Have to be strong to hold MY Momma.

<DeathStar> <Selena> *brings a map of Geyze* *I* believe the spell was cast in the Dark Lands here. We know there are adults still in the Dark Lands, that have these ... symbols or protection? But I still beliece the spell was cast here. From there the spell grew outward in a circle. *She demonstrates it hitting Hapian and then Amazon's Lands*
<DeathStar> <Selena> I been using Soren to communicate - adults are missing witin this circular area. That is still growing.
<Jackieness> <Bella> *raises hand again*
<DeathStar> <Selena> I fear that in a few days, this circular space will grow and more adults might be missing. Yes, Bella?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "What about missing people on Kumen?"
<Seraphna> Nell> Yes how’s it reach up wayyyy there?
<DeathStar> <Selena> That's a hole in m theory. Unless, it's being cast again and again. Someone cast it on Kumen too. And if that is the case, it might can be cast elsewhere.

<Seraphna> Terra> If the spell penetrates the spirit realm it could be reflecting in Kumen.

<DeathStar> *she shuffles over to the side of the room and returns with something*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "In that case, it might've been cast from the spirit realm..."
<Sara> <Yurica> Well they all have to have gone somewhere.
<DeathStar> *it seems to be a piece of a giant crystal that was part of some technological device, judging by what was once hooked up to it.*
<Seraphna> Terra> Did we check the Spirit Realm? I’m not supposed to go alone…
<DeathStar> <Selena> I feel like I've seen this before but I cannot tell you where.
<DeathStar> <Soren> The realm is safe right now
<Seraphna> Nell> Is that… part of the time portal?
<DeathStar> *Seniga eyes the crystal* .....Don't ask me
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "So, it's not there? Or..."
<Sara> <Cherie> The what?
<Seraphna> Nell> Mom said it ran on crystals.
<Ariel> * Nicolette steps over to try to identify the device.
<Seraphna> Nell> So did the device that used to disrupt technology here.
<DeathStar> *The crystal/device seems to be almost alien, or at least something more advance. It would be nice to have more of it, if they could find it, to learn about it*
<Seraphna> Nell> I feel a little weird, like I should know what this is?
<Ariel> * Nicolette shakes her head, "Not familiar to me. Well, not in this state, at least."
<Seraphna> **Nell looks at Selena** You know?
<DeathStar> <Selena> Alright, here's my idea. Rain told us our parents are in the Dark Lands somewhere
<DeathStar> <Selena> I say we do a venture into there and see if we can learn something
<DeathStar> <Selena> Or...
<DeathStar> *She holds up a finger* There's another alternative that might be safer
<Seraphna> Nell> Wish we had Nocty. Hope she was with Kaelan fox when this happened.

<DeathStar> <Selena> As I said, the circular field is getting bigger. The Daemons are going out and grabbing people. We might can witness what they are doing to a new group and stop them there. But it would answer perhaps what happened to our parents.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Which one would you kids rather try?
<Seraphna> Nell> Well the alternative sounds like an actual plan.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "If we can find them grabbing people, we can actually do something."
<DeathStar> *Cloé looks at Cherie*

<DeathStar> *Selena looks at Luna* You should stay here where it's safe. Kito will watch over you.

<DeathStar> *the kids are all piled into the flying carriage and are going along toward the Legion territory. Seniga props her head up while Cloé, outside the armor since it's too heavy, clings to Cherie*

<Sara> <Yurica> Well, of course! *she huffs, as if the mere thought of otherwise is absurd*

<DeathStar> *Cloé makes grumbling noises when the carriage rocks as they begin to enter a foggy area, despite it being the legion territory where it's mostly just hot* <Selena> Unusual.
<Seraphna> Nell> Evil spell? Fire Spirit having a swim?
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Turbulence?"
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Water and fire is steam."
<DeathStar> <Selena> We are approaching a village. Let us land. *she lands the carriage and up ahead in the fog shapes can be seen moving* <Seniga> Cherie - use your Aurit eyes and tell me what you see

<DeathStar> *The figures seem to be aproaching the houses - maybe oging inside them*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Do we follow? *another set of shadow figures seem to be stalking the first set*

<Seraphna> Nell> Sure. One’s got to be the Daemons. Bets are the other is the Legion not taking this laying down.
<Seraphna> Nell> Maybe the good Daemon empress escaped and warned them.

<Jackieness> <Bella> "Ummmm..hard to miss the countries are emptying out..."

<Seraphna> Nell> Considering comms issues, news might be traveling slow like in our parents days.
<Sara> <Cherie> I feel nervous
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "What's wrong?"
<DeathStar> *As they begin to see shapes of buildings, there's a commotion in the fog - fighting has broken out*
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... *She lights up in her spirit form and zooms off out of sight into the mists*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Hey!
<DeathStar> *Cloé quakes*
<Seraphna> **Nell sighs and focuses, grabbing Seniga and hopping out, gliding after her**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *gets down low and peers into the mist*
<DeathStar> *Seniga makes a noise as Nell does that. The two find themselves amongst a bunch of Daemons holding babies*
<Ariel> * Nicolette tries to keep up with Selena, using an air spell to part the mist for two meters around her.
<DeathStar> *Selena and Nicolette run into their owwn set of daemons holding babies*
<DeathStar> *Selena blinks when Neekito and Fae and Edna join them and jumping the daemons and retrieving the babies, even as more rush off into the fog with their babeis*
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... baby snatchers!
<DeathStar> *She tries to take them down gently*
<DeathStar> *A few of the daemons run by Bella, Cherie, and Cloé, holding babies*
<Sara> * Cherie shudders
<Jackieness> <Bella> *springs forward, trying to get barrier dust in a circle aorund the fleeing daemons before they get too far*
<DeathStar> *Neekito uses her powers to aid Selena in stopping Daemons around them and Fae floats, the young spirit wind snatching babies*
<Seraphna> **Metal bars fly out and wrap around Daemon legs as Nell summons them from subspace**
<Ariel> * Nicolette attempts to snatch a baby to safety using the power of air.
<DeathStar> *The group manages to stop 80% of the Daemons and are holding babies, Selena juggling her's*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> I'm lost ... again
<DeathStar> *Cloé opens her eyes, looking around*
<DeathStar> *even as a few daemons recover and one tries to grab Cloé and run*
<Alicia> * Sparkling zaps the daemon that grabbed Cloe, and rescues her
<Seraphna> Nell> They’re taking BABIES now? These Daemons are buttholes. **she sends a candlestick that looks suspiciously Hapian for the Don holding Chloe**
<Sara> <Cherie> Cl-Cloé! *she holds on to her after she's rescued*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Did we have a plan for what happens after this?"
<Seraphna> Nell> We we’re gonna follow the Daemons but… babies?
<Jackieness> <Bella> *just shakes head*
<DeathStar> *Cloé clings to Cherie*

<DeathStar> *the Daemon is candled*
<Alicia> * Sparkling makes a victory sign with her fingers
<DeathStar> <Selena> *eyes all the babies* Hm. Someone check the houses
<DeathStar> <Selena> Find everyone else
<DeathStar> *Seniga slowly creeps through the mist toward the houses*
<DeathStar> <Selena> In the meantime I'll take the babies to the carriage
<DeathStar> *She takes them over to the neaby carriage*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Thank you for the help
<DeathStar> <Fae> *flutters* We been trying to find mom. <Neekito> Ellie vanished
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I still feel her
<Jackieness> <Bella> *goes low and heads to the houses with Seniga*
<Ariel> * Nicolette hugs Neekito, "Are you all okay?"
<Seraphna> Nell> So they are being taken elsewhere.
<Sara> <Yurica> You still feel her? You think they're maybe still here but like out of phase or some technobabble like that?
<DeathStar> *The houses are empty - the adults once again missing. Seniga glances around - some of the houses have kids sleeing as if under a spell - perhaps the mist. Outside there are large daemon carriages to no doubt stuff the kids in along with the babies perhaps. As Seniga and Bella search, they find adult clothes in the beds* <Seniga> Ew
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Nekkie."
<DeathStar> *Neekito returns the hug* Her energy is ..... definitely not right. It's like she's Ellie but not Ellie as I know her. *She looks tired* I am tired. I been keeping Fae with me to protect her.
<Seraphna> Nell> Great my Mom and Dad are naked somewhere.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "...it looks like some kind of messed up teleportation spell."
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Weird.
<DeathStar> *Selena calls out* Bella, Seniga. Find me clothes for the babies. None of them are clothed.
<DeathStar> <Selena> I think the Daemons just grabbed them as they were
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Why else would they leave the clothes behind?"
<Seraphna> Nell> Maybe Terra had something when she mentioned the Spirit Realm.
<Jackieness> <Bella> *blinks then grabs baby clothes*
<Seraphna> Nell> Like they might be getting shifted into something like it?
<DeathStar> *Bella would find only one or two houses has baby clothes - and those actually has a baby in it*
<DeathStar> *Still asleep*

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "She... hmm. That's another complication."
<Jackieness> <Bella> *creeps to the daemon carriages*
<Seraphna> Nell> Wait….

<DeathStar> *They seem to have a few people stuffed in it right now, sleeping teens and a few kids around 7 to 10, but it looks like the babies were the higher priority*
<Seraphna> Nell> Guys? I think the babies are the adults.

<DeathStar> <Selena> The babies?
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "...oh... that explains everything! Somehow."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "That... does explain things, yes."
<Seraphna> **Nell nods** The naked ones.
<DeathStar> *Seniga eyes the babies*

<DeathStar> *Fae floats around them* .... they don't look very adulty
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Neekito... is Ellie a baby?"
<Seraphna> Nell> The adult clothing is left, but that would happen if they de-aged.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> If Ellie was an adult, ... that could explain why my connection to her is not quite right. She is a little baby

<Jackieness> <Bella> *sabotages the daemon carriages as best she cna so they can't fly without repair*
<Seraphna> Nell> And it didn’t seem to effect the surviving adult spirits like Death because their forms aren’t age dependent.

<DeathStar> <Cloé> I don't want my momma to be babies
<DeathStar> *She cries*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "So they're easier to kidnap, obviously."
<Seraphna> Nell> I’m sure we can fix it.
<Sara> <Cherie> I'm not ready to be momma's mom...
<DeathStar> <Selena> And there are various rituals you could do with babies. Maybe even ....alter their minds before reaging them back up
<Seraphna> Nell> Or just raise them up again under new teachings.
