<DeathStar> <Lenneth> So far we have been observing the situation as more and more have been arriving
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "I want to know the details too. This is absolutely something huge."
<Seraphna> Leyaeh> Some kinda magic beacon that sapped the mana users of their energy for a bit. Then the Maka and the young, Maka aged casters all started having nightmares.
<DeathStar> *Lenneth eyes her notes* And what are the chances the PAX will be affected by all this?
<Dias`> <Id> And this beacon originated from here?
<Seraphna> Leyaeh> Well seeing as we're sitting on the planet this is occurring on... massive?
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I would be amazed if we were not."
<Seraphna> Leyaeh> Jaime's notes say the artifact disappeared in the rubble when deactivated, but she believes it might actually be of Maka origin.
<Dias`> <Id> And any ideas on how it got here?
<Seraphna> Leyaeh> A plant maybe, or maybe the Maka in their reality had been there at some point.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> We might have to send some of our people down there to help them. This will allow us to investigate
<Dias`> <Id> And these nightmares they were having, are any connected? Or they just random nightmares?
<Seraphna> Leyaeh> Well some of our people are still technically a part of their Peacekeepers.

<Seraphna> Leyaeh> I'd say connected, coiincidence is wishful thinking.
<Dias`> <Id> So you don't know if the nightmares they are having have connecting elements.
<Seraphna> Leyaeh> Id for one. Jennifer and Sammael were down there for a while too.

<Seraphna> LEyaeh> Seems the Summoni were unaffected at least. As were the Spirits.

<Seraphna> Leyaeh> So non-Mana users basically are neutral parties here, or at least not under direct connection to the threat.

<DeathStar> <Neekito> Kito claims it's them. *her ears flatten* And she was the one who found the relic.

<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I don't think that's what it does. Well, not the main thing."

<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I don't know what it does, but giving us nightmares doesn't seem like something a relic would be made for."

<Sara> <Ellie> If the relic had been swapped out or something and they were tricked into activating something more malicious than they had intended...

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Oh, the nightmares are undoubtedly a premoninition."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Given how it looked different, it definitely could have been."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Right, that's... oh, that's bad."
<Dias`> <Id> I would need to see pictures of it to determine if they look like anything from my records.

<Xanatos> <Simon> It couldn't hurt. What makes you believe it is a premonition?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "And yes, I want to dig about and see if there are remnants that might lead to how it got here, or who left it here.

<Xanatos> <Simon> Yes. More power means more blood which can involve sacrifice. It depends on the individual.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "In a way. It depends though... you cna extract a small amount of life energy from blood, easily replenished. Alternatively, you cna use it to commune ith some really wicked entities and get your power boost from them."

<DeathStar> *Neekito glances at Ellie to see if she wants to go. Cypher meanwhile walks up with Sunny, having her dressed up for school*

<Sara> <Sunny> I guess so.
<DeathStar> *Cypher nods, sending her off to Fae and Terra*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon moves to go with Lana. BIX meanwhile marches around checking on Maka, offering them coffee.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Simon, could you arrange a cold-weather carriage for us to travel in? I'll get the equipment for the dig."
<DeathStar> <Selena> I'll remain here for th time being and see if I can help my Aunt with the sitution here. If any of you need my help, just let me know. *She heads off to check on the academy*

<DeathStar> <Neekito> Maybe. With all the Maka spread out, looking for what is causing their nightmare, and the Peacekeepers hunting for the Blood Mage, I'm reading through their reports. Hoping to see if there's something in them that Lumi missed

<DeathStar> *Lana's group arrives in the deep snowy region. It is hard to imagine Kito discovered the relic in this mess of terrain and weather*
<DeathStar> *Sabrina hops off the carriage and uses her magic to try to keep warm while Cypher makes a face*
<Dias`> <Id> Please becareful of your step, less any of you disappear beneath the snow top.
<DeathStar> *Sabrina plops and vanishes*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "This is a very specific spot... and a strange one to come to randomly."
<Sara> <Chelsea> Which means there had to be some reason, surely...
<DeathStar> <Cypher> Was this during the time she was commanding you know who to find her relics?
<Dias`> <Id> Indeed. So either it was planted or Kito got very lucky.
<Alicia> * Ceilidh scans the area carefully
<DeathStar> *Sabrina floats up out of the snow; up in the sky Maka can be made out*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Oh, the Death spirit? That would make sense..."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon tilts his head after kneeling to help Sabrina, as he watches her float up he spots the other maka.
<Xanatos> <Simon> What are those Maka doing?
<Dias`> 6Id floats up slightly and begins scanning the area, looking for any out of place energy signatures first.
<Seraphna> **Talia pops out of Lana's cleavage, yawning**
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Uh...
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Monitoring?
<Sara> <Chelsea> They do seem to be EVERYwhere after all...
<Jackieness> <Lana> *walks out into the snowfield, looking around for depressions or other signs of something buried*
<Dias`> <Id> If there all here, then who's protecting the worlds they went to from Makai?
<Seraphna> Talia> Not think it all them. Planet would be really flooded!
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...chance the Makai were all drawn here too... would explain why Zayne disappeared."
<DeathStar> *there seems to be no relics or any tomes being detected in the snow; likely whatever remains has been found by Kito and others after the destruction of the monestary 2 years ago by Death/Shin. Their scans are picking up no signs of anything anymore*
<DeathStar> *Except, the Maka up in the sky*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "... do you think something is drawing them?"
<Dias`> <Id> I do not think there's enough Maka to flood a planet.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I wonder if there are ruins under here..."
<Sara> <Chelsea> Really? They're a significant population percent from a planet of their own.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon goes another route and forms the runes for his energy detection spells just to sort out what type of mana, spirit, or other type of energy may be here.
<DeathStar> <Cypher> I mean, the destruction of the original monestary happened 2 years ago and what was recovered was around that time. Are you thinking we can find a trace of the stuff now?
<Jackieness> <Lana> *claps her hands together then starts to weave a mini-gear type construct*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "There might be something about the terrain itself?"
<DeathStar> *as Simon does his thing, he does pick up something*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon pauses and focuses in on it.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *moves the constuct around from inside and uses it to start digging*
<DeathStar> *it seems to be hidden under the snow and is given off unusual mana energy*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> ... *begins to look uneasy*
<DeathStar> *Lana hits an ice block of sorts after a bit, right where the mana readings are*
<Dias`> <Id> Did you find something Lana?
<Xanatos> <Simon> I'm getting unusual mana energy from that location, Lana.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *tries pullling it out of the snow* "I found somethign solid!"
<Dias`> <Id> Interesting. My scanners didn't pick it up.
<DeathStar> *it doesn't budge; Sabrina uses her magic to blow the snow aside and the ice block is actually a cave entrance*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Oh, its a cave!"
<DeathStar> *that's a foot or two wide at a slant*
<DeathStar> *The snow then lands back on her head*
<Sara> <Chelsea> Huuuuh.

<Dias`> <Id> Perhaps we should make an entrance through the ice and explore the cave.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *shakes off the snow and then starts to excavate around the cave*
<Seraphna> **Terra peeks around the back of Ciel's head**

<Seraphna> Terra> Need to feel ground more.
<DeathStar> *as Ceilidh asks that, the mana begins to increase more on SImon's readings*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "OK, I think we cna squeeze through."
<Xanatos> <Simon> Something is happening, my readings are increasing.
<DeathStar> *and something begins to swirl inside the cave right at Lana*
<DeathStar> *Drawing the Maka's attentions*
<Dias`> <Id> It would appear we've either somehow distrubed what's in their or it's finally "activating"

<Seraphna> **Talia grabs Lana and shifts to land with her in human form**

<DeathStar> *The Maka falling and striking down as Makai coming out in droves*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Oh no.
<Dias`> <Id> ..Interesting. A cave of Makai.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Why? Why are they here?"
<Seraphna> **Terra titls her head, then closes the cave entrance with stone suddenly**
<Dias`> <Id> That is quite the mystery.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon forms his spear, backing up.
<DeathStar> <Cypher> I guess they were drawn in like the Maka.
<DeathStar> *as Terra slows down some of them, many of the Makai have gotten out*
<Seraphna> Talia> But from where! They underground!
<Dias`> <Id> Into the cave? Then frozen behind it?
<Sara> <Chelsea> There's so many of them!
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "... won't we have to deal with that sooner or later? We can't just seal up the cave and leave it be..."
<Sara> <Chelsea> Were they... were they sealed in here??
<Jackieness> <Lana> *buried ehad first in the snow wiht legs sticking out*
<Seraphna> **Terra sends a proxy to the academy to warn them**
<Seraphna> **Talia lands on Lana's butt unscathed, then helps her out**
<Xanatos> <Simon> We need reinforcements, who knows how many are in there.
<DeathStar> <Cypher> Unless they were travleing under ground this entire time
<Sara> * Some of the Makai have dispersed but others are closing in on the group
<Dias`> <Id> If that's the case, then either this is quite the trap set up. Or the Maka/Makai have been on this planet at some point in the past. I would need to review my logs from this planets history.
<Seraphna> **Talia forms her Familiar Blade**
<DeathStar> *Cypher leaps into the carriage*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *flies up to deal with them*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "....ohhh...what happened...?"
<DeathStar> *one Makai grabs Lana's leg and flies up with her*
<Seraphna> **Terra wiggles her arms wildly and large stone fists fly at the Makai**
<Sara> * A Makai with a whole LOT of swords begins spinning in some kind of magic sword dance attack at Simon
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhhhhh!"
<DeathStar> *said Makai aims her wand and poison begins to crawl up Lana's body*
<DeathStar> *The Makas put up defensive spells for the group, in the form of teddy bears*
<Seraphna> **Talia aims and blasts mana at the Makai on Lana**
<Xanatos> 6* Simon does his best to defend, parrying and backing up as the sword attacks come in.
<DeathStar> *the Makai is knocked off Lana*
<Dias`> <Id> On a positive note, if all the Makai are here/drawn here. Then the Maka can remove a lot of them in one fell swoop
<Seraphna> Terra> Sent another me to tell Ms. Lumi
<Sara> <Chelsea> I hope they've noticed by now because there's a whole lot of them!
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *Sword fights one, getting knocked around*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *falls into the snow again*
<Sara> * A laser-bit-based Makai aims an entire array of lasers at the group and starts firing them, like something out of a robot show
<DeathStar> <Cypher> Oh - yeah, that's wonderful. *She begins to speed the carriage away, holding out her hands* Come on, we're going
<Dias`> 6Id floats to use Chelsea as a shield
<DeathStar> *she reaches for Lana, when the lasers hit the carriage and it flips*
<Sara> <Chelsea> Wh-What are you doing! *she flails*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...don't feel so good..."
<Dias`> <Id> Hiding behind someone capable of defending themselves.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "We're leaving already?" *is already starting to fight the Laser Makai*
<Seraphna> **Talia holds out her hands and absorsbs some of the laser shots mana, then turns it around and fires back**
<Dias`> <Id> It's becaue you've been poisoned Lana.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Poison? What sort?" *attempts diagnosis*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...must be...magic poison..."
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> ... *aims at a group of Makai and fires her ultimate beam attack, then falls into the snow*
<DeathStar> *it seems to be a type of despair poison that grows as Lana despairs*
<Sara> * A hysterically-laughing Makai comes up behind Sabrina and puts some kind of glass-like jail around her, lifting her up
<DeathStar> *A teddy bear follows Simon arround to try to take hits*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Don't worry, this will be easy to cure." * Ceilidh works on a cure that's... absolutely more difficult than she says
<Sara> <Chelsea> Sabrina took some of them out!
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> .... *begins to pound her hands on the glass* ....... *glares*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon activates a few runes before doubling his stats. He throws up an ice wall to separate himself from the sword makai and then sprints to try and knock Sabrina free from the glass.
<DeathStar> *Erevis, Xanatos, etc. arrive with Selena and a few others*
<Sara> * The Sword Makai is finally defeated as the ice wall flings her up into the air comedically
<DeathStar> <Erevis> What in the world
<Sara> <Chelsea> Oh thank the spirits!
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "You're welcome."
<Dias`> <Id> Oh, yes. I forgot to mention. Erevis and her allies were on their way.
<Seraphna> **Jennifer appears, then holds out her hand and forms snow into ice shards firing them at Makai**
<DeathStar> *Selena goes into her spirit form and zooms in at Makai*
<Xanatos> <Xan> It's uh...little girls?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Vicious little girls
<Alicia> * Sparkling fires her own beams at Makai, before spreading wings of light to magic dogfight
<Seraphna> **Thena splits a few times and starts firing multiple blasts, one Thena fires a sniper rifle, wearing a a Ninja costume**
<Xanatos> <Xan> ... 6* he goes to check on the overturned carriage instead of fight.
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "It's kind of impressive really." *likewise checks on the carriage*
<Sara> * Chelsea gets knocked into the snow by a Makai with a giant rubber hammer... with metal spikes
<Seraphna> **Terra sends stone fists at a Makai to bounce her around** Look Grandma! I'm kicking butt!
<Xanatos> 6* Simon begins to focus on healing, starting with Chelsea since she just went down.
<DeathStar> *Aimee shows up to battle the Makai with a hammer*
<Dias`> <Id> ...I was wrong. You are not a good shield. 6Id reinforces it spirit shield and begins to float away
<DeathStar> *Sabrina floats up to charge another energy attack while the Maka begin to do their thing, sending killer candy at the Makai*
<Sara> * Some of the Makai finally decide this isn't worth it and retreat
<DeathStar> *as they retreat, a chime sound is heard much like at the tower and the Maka and Makai go down*
<DeathStar> *with the nightmare like visions*
<Dias`> 6Id instantly begins scanning for a direction or source
<DeathStar> *Sabrina drops, her blast tearing up the landscape with her no longer in control*
