<DeathStar> <Sabrina> And that poisonous feeling counteracts what a Maka normally feels.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, again, soemthign unique was happening here. It was like a blackhole, pulling in others."
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Yeah, normal Makai don't do that.
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> They can thrall others, but not other Maka
<Seraphna> Jaime> Is that why Zayne went all… weird?
<ChadWinters> <Id> So what we're thinking is that the original source of this current situation is the original Makai being alive/free

<Seraphna> Jaime> This is a woman who carried Sunny into battle to keep her close. She even said she was going to take her somewhere safe then just… left her.

<ChadWinters> 6Dias takes a step forward, the ground cracking from his step. He suddenly disappears, and appears about 20 feet from the Makai that's been revealed.

<DeathStar> *Zayne begins to rail gun blast fellow Makai, looking like she is straining*
<Seraphna> **Alita closes her eyes and uses her healing field, so those close to her like Sunny feel warmth, healing, and refreshment**
<Seraphna> **Thena gets an idea, then splits into 7 parts, becoming her own chorus line and singing harder with all of herself**
<DeathStar> *Noire begin absorb the darkness while the others keep too many more Maka from turning, holding it at the line thankfully. As Dias leaps, he finds a depressed looking Makai who barely acknowledges him*

<Seraphna> **Threna fixes her glasses, then starts to sing as well, a song of hope**
<ChadWinters> <Dias> You look like you lost all joy. 6He kicks at the air then closes the gap to 5 feet, his right fist pulled back.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Zayne might not be with us much longer. *she goes hyperspace and begins to rush a few Makai that are trying to break the barrier. The spirit kids are combining their powers to try to hit the depressed Makai, who somehow avoids it and begins to send the cloud down, shattering the barrier so her Makai can begin to swarm the group*
<Seraphna> **Jaime glows green with hyperspace sparkles as she continues to amplify the positive emotions with Empathic waves**
<DeathStar> *Sunny would see Zayne go down in a horse of chainsaw Makai users while a bunch of lollipop Makai swing at the others, aiming to take their heads with candy*
<Seraphna> **Terra holds out her hands and a vine barrier starts to cover and guard people, it seems rather thin and see through... but it's full of thorns and those prickly seed things you can never get off your clothes**
<Sara> <Sunny> Mom!? *despite that she was in a safeish spot before she rushes over*

<Xanatos> 6* Xan pushes himself to his feet and takes a deep breath then steps forward and unleashes a laser from his eye aiming to knock some of the lollipop makai.
<DeathStar> *She seems to have been mimcing spirits when she loses sight of her*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *forms her Dark Edge and defends herself while trying to drain the dark energy from the nearby Makai*
<ChadWinters> 6Dias swings his right fist at the OG Makai, aiming to knock it back upwards.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix kneels and then blasts off, crashing down for the chainsaw makai
<DeathStar> *The chainsaw Makai struggle against Bix, cutting at him and trying to go for his head*
<Alicia> * Sparkling joins in the fight, firing off her own beam at the OG Makai, whether to support Dias or to try to take her down herself.
<DeathStar> *Noire is hit with lollipops that make her sticky and stick to the ground*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX throws big blasts of fire out, trying to keep them high so they don't hit Zayne who's down.
<DeathStar> *Xan shoots some of the lollipop off of Noire into the sky*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Gaaaah!" *trying to tear herself free with her tendrils*
<DeathStar> *As the barrier rises back up, the other Makai that haven't gotten in begin to slam against it, hitting it with all their might*
<DeathStar> *Up in the sky, the original Makai finally seems to focus on those attacking her and grunts, something moving across her body - likely her pet and something stirkes the two back*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon continues to work on his runes and then one by one Ice Simons step out from his body as he combined his ice magic with his time abilities and the ice simons move out to do 3 things, one goes to heal Zayne. One goes to reinforce the shield with a layer of ice, creating a large ice wall spell and the third enhances the ice wall spell....with ice spikes.

<Seraphna> **Talia sneaks up behind Zayne and casts a healing spell on her, then starts blocking for her with Mana currents**
<Seraphna> **Jaime breathes in, then forms with Gnome and sends a chunk of hyperspace laden earth up at the Makai cloud**
<DeathStar> *Zayne seems to have returned ot normal from Talia, then grabs Sunny suddenly*
<Alicia> * Sparkling flies up, circling around the Makai, firing on her. "...what made you like this?"
<ChadWinters> 6Dias eyes the bing chunk of Earth go flying up and leaps on to it for a ride.

<DeathStar> <Original Makai> ... *her hand reaches upward, something moving along it as she begins to do something to crush Sparkling when she peers down at Dias* ?

<DeathStar> <Zayne> ... *she begins to tighten her grip on Sunny, almost painfully, when the Makai on the ground begin to close in on those still down there. Holding their weapons and she pulls her close*
<ChadWinters> 6Dias dashes along it and leaps off the front of it and twists in the air to kick the OG Makai to the ground, his leg aiming directly for the arm
<Sara> <Sunny> Aah! M-Mom?…
<DeathStar> <Zayne> S-Stay behind me. *She holds up her rail gun with her good arm*
<ChadWinters> <Id> The singers should aim for the Makai up there.
<Seraphna> **Talia blasts at one with her mana**
<Alicia> * Charlotte moves to Guard Zayne and Sunny... or at the very least, assist her.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...running out of steam..." *takes a breath and weaves her mecha armor to fight them*
<Seraphna> **Jaime lets the hyper rock explode when it reaches into the cloud, chunks targetting Makai in the air**
<Xanatos> 6* Xan tries to pull Erevis to her feet.
<DeathStar> *Erevis wiggles by Xantos after the stun shot and gfrees herself as the combined attacks knocks the OG Makai into the ground near Zayne's group. Sylph comically tosses Ellie over to her when suddenly magic begins to drain from everyone*
<Xanatos> 6* BIX backs up, putting his hand into his pocket then pauses looking oddly as his arm and hand.

<ChadWinters> 6Dias flaots in the air a bit before starting to fall. "Awkard magic girl. Throw me down at her.

<Xanatos> 6* Simon, in the middle of chanting a mass healing spell, frowns as it dissipates.

<DeathStar> <Og Makai> ... *she pants, then begins to try to talk... likely not having done so in so many centuries it comes out in a hoarse whisper* Enemy... not like me... sealed me away... could not kill. ha..ha... sealed so long. *she grabs Zayne and begins to whisper something into her ear as she lifts Zayne up; at closer examination, it looks like her body is decaying and the magic absorption is repairing it*

<Alicia> * Charlotte moves to assist Noire, as Sparkling jumps to try to save Sunny

The Makai, even with the cloud gone, begin to step forward with their insane look when Sunny begins to glow and transform like a proper Magical Girl, complete with long transformation sequence that lately Sabrina and Sparkling and Nicolette skip. Zayne watches it all, quiet, but probably this is what she has been waiting for*
<DeathStar> *Kito is trying to make another blood shield, looking exhausted due to loss of blood. Erevis struggles to go into hyper form, leaning on Xanatos while Ao arrives to back them up*

<Sara> * Sunny floats slowly back down to her feet after the sequence, pointing a staff at a Makai. “Because of all of you, mom got hurt. You hurt people! It’s not okay!”

I did not sense them overly evil, but they were not good men even if they were trying to stop what was coming for their own sake
