<Jackieness> <Airym> "Get on those sensors as on as we exit hyperspace. Ineed a quick sitrep."
<Xanatos> 6* Pepper prepares to do the yellow alert stuff when they drop, hands over the buttons.
<Seraphna> Cookie looks into the future just as they’re about to exit.
<Alicia> * Akatsuki watches the sensors
<DeathStar> *they exit and the shields automatically kick in since they did the yellow alert earlier*

<DeathStar> *they pick up a station not far from them, with a lot of pirate ships attacking it*
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Wow, this is a regular party.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Move to intercept. Whose station is it?"
<Alicia> * Akatsuki tries to ID the ships
<Seraphna> Cookie> Do we warn them off or blasty blasts? **she maneuvers them in, ready to go**
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Give them a warning first."
<DeathStar> <Ben> It seems to be a research station that is looking into classified Suisen research materials. However the nearest Suisen ship is still some ways away.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Alert the Suisen authorities of the situation and that we are rendering assistance."
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Ready to fire, weapons charged.
<Alicia> * Jikuu does that
<DeathStar> <Ben> I could probably request access to the materials if it's that improtant
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Our mission is to repel the pirates and provide any medical aid to the sttaion crew, if necessary."
<DeathStar> *The pirates begin to take note of the legendary Aquarius and some of their ships turn to deal with them, firing at the Aquarius' shields with surprisingly powerful hits* <Mireille> Ow.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> ...okay, not warning them now. Returning fire. 6* She begins to do so
<Seraphna> **Cookie hums and starts highlights targets as she spins the ship and starts avoiding hits**
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Return fire."
<DeathStar> *Pepper and Cookie clip the ships and damage their shields. However, suddenly the ships start to become harder to predict with Cookie's future vision, as they begin to fire back as if predicting their positions and nailing the Aquarius back* <Mirielle> Adjusting shields
<Seraphna> **Cookie blinks** I’m losing them in the future…?
<DeathStar> *Jikuu receives a confirmation from Syiean from the Suisen*
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "What kind of pirates are these?"
<DeathStar> <Ben> Maybe they really are Thena's.
<DeathStar> *He notes as he eyes his console*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan steps on deck, musing at the situation**
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Position us between the station and the ttackign pirates. Ben, attempt to compensate for the enemy's new pattern."
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Thena cannot see the future."
<DeathStar> *Ben nods and begins to work*
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "Can we overwhelm their future sight?"
<DeathStar> <Mireille> I could make us stronger and faster
<Seraphna> **Kaelan starts opening foxholes between enemy ships to start fucking with them**
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Focus on defense until Ben has a solution, or we see something we cna take advantage of."
<Alicia> * Akatsuki does similar
<DeathStar> *Mireille goes into the Aquarius to power them up. The pirates that are still at the station, begin to fire at the Aquarius as they near them*
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Until we drop their shields I can't target anything useful like guns.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Why the hell are they so strong.
<DeathStar> *while those with the foxholes around them use it to their advantage to protect themselves, too, and slowly work their way back to rejoin their allies*
<Seraphna> **Nox joins her mother, turning shadows against pirates** Dunno, let’s punish them for it.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Shame we cannot foxhole through the shields."
<DeathStar> <Ben> It looks like they might have a set of psionics on each ship.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan releases foxholes strategically so as they use them for cover they vanish as Pepper fires, Cookie coordinating them**
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Is future sight that common?"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> No, it is a significantly rare gift.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Psions can mess with the mind though, counter it.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> ...when did pirates get psions.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Why would they not have?"
<DeathStar> <Ben> ... I have an alarm going off.
<DeathStar> *the Aquarius' alarms are wailing*
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "If we could shut them down..."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I wonder… **she reaches out towards the ships and starts using Dark One power to attack psionic minds away from the ship**
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Report."
<DeathStar> *Ben brings it up on screen; it looks like one of the pirates had fired a moment ago something so small, it barel appeared; as Kaelan begins to try to do her attack, the foxholes begin to do something strange, even Akatsuki's, and suddenly the Aquarius begins to get yanked forward as well as the pirate ship*
<DeathStar> *As if it changed properties to a gravity hole*
<DeathStar> *tons of gravity holes*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> What the fuck!? **she tries cutting them off**
<DeathStar> *it doesn't react*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "How dare they."
<Seraphna> **Cookie angles the ship to fly back away from thrm**
<Xanatos> <Pepper> ...we may have to retreat here, Airym.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Maybe we should try our counter, Akatsuki."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> But what direction? There's so many?
<DeathStar> *As the Aquarius struggles*
<DeathStar> *even as a few of the pirate ships are caught up*
<DeathStar> *the station itself even is being affected a bit*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "No more foxholes. Mire, prepare for spirit mode. Yuki, what is the ETA of the nearest Suisen reinforcements?"
<Seraphna> **Cookie starts trying to feel out a route**
<DeathStar> <Yuki> It looks like a few hours. *Mireille nods and activates spirit engines*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I was going to try clearing them out with hyperspace."
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Ben, get comms to that station and arrange an evac."
<Alicia> <Celeste> "... someone tell me if that would work or be a total disaster?"
<Seraphna> **Cookie starts following the path she feels out**
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Hold position."
<DeathStar> *Ben can be heard communicating*
<Seraphna> **Nox holds out her hands trying to form a dark shield to help them resist the pull**
<Alicia> * Akatsuki and Jikuu assist
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Keeping shields up for now, we'll need to drop to do teleports. Better if they have their own evac methods Ben.
<DeathStar> *The dark shield does a little to help with the Aquarius' stuff, allowing them to remain in place and not approach the nearest foxhole, which they are moving along slowly and not getting sucked into the gravity wells; but it doesn't feel like they're making too much of an escape either. However, the station itself is DEFINITELY slowly moving closer to them*
<DeathStar> *the station slowly having pieces ripping off*
<Seraphna> Cookie> The station is drifting this way….
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Gravitational collapse like this could great planets and even starts if it was big enough...this probably won't be that big, but you never know. We could try to collapse the wells, pump a bunch of energy into it and hope that does the trick but...no clue if it would work.

<DeathStar> <Ben> We're straining the engines just slowly moving along
<Jackieness> <Airym> "What is it?"
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Move to match the movement of the station. What about that evac?"
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "Do you know which pirate ship is the flagship?"
<DeathStar> <Ben> They're ready to try an evac. The problem is they're closer to the gravity well then we are and none of their shuttles and whatnot can probably escape.
<DeathStar> *Mireille brings up on screen one of the surviving pirate ships that's monitoring the situation*
<Xanatos> <Pepper> We may need to teleport them to the hanger and try a light jump. That might cause a collapse here though.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Get us in front of that station. Open aft hangar ans try to get them on board."
<DeathStar> *probably not wanting to get close enough to the situation to risk themselves*
<DeathStar> *Even for the research stuff*
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "Can we get closer to them?"
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Yeah that's the problem; can we
<Seraphna> **Cookie tries** We’re extremely limited on the whole moving thing.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Mireille, burn as much power as we can
<Seraphna> Cookie> Much longer and we’ll be in their situation too.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Akatsuki... if that does not work... we will be in huge amounts of trouble."
<Seraphna> **Nox does her best to keep up, Kaelan helping her**
<Jackieness> <Airym> "...I need options. Can we safely use foxholes or progenitor or Dark one teleportaiton?"
<DeathStar> *The spirit engines begin to burn with more power than usual, taking the help given to her; but it's clear they're draining way too much power for this; Cookie gets more mobility*
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "If I can get one close to that ship, I think so."
<DeathStar> <Ben> You got your window Cookie
<Seraphna> Kaelan> We might be able to snatch some through the shadows but you might be ignoring the crazy gravity issue.
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "I don't think the commander will sacrifice themselves for the mission."
<Seraphna> **Cookie nods and starts moving**
<Seraphna> **Kaelan starts shooting tendrils into shadows to see who she can pull from the station’s shadows**
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Rerouting all power from weapons into engines as well, not like we need to shoot anything.
<DeathStar> *The Aquarius moves over to the station, which puts them closer and the ship begins to rock more in doing so. Alarms wail as they get in positions to rescue the station. Cloé arrives on the bridge* <Cloé> What is going on?
<DeathStar> *Ben shuts the alarms off*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Evacuate non-essential areas of the ship. Shut off life support in those sections to get us more power."
<DeathStar> *Kaelan begins to pull scientists over*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *from behind Cloe* "...ok...looks like it got serious up here."
<Seraphna> Cookie> Calculating the point we need to jump to escape.
<Xanatos> 6* Pepper begins to send out the warning for everyone get in the larger areas like the cafeteria and hangers. Giving a 30 second timer before things start getting shut down.
<DeathStar> <Ben> I will go help get the scientists moved over to the hanger
<DeathStar> *He stands up and moves off*
<DeathStar> <Cloé> *fiddles with her hands* This is bad. If we're using this much power, we can't even use the teleporters to leave
<DeathStar> <Yuki> *muses* Okay, so once we get all the civilians evacuated, we need to find a way to get going again
<Seraphna> **Cookie puts it up when they have to blast off to get out** We need to just worry about clearing out so Mire can regenerate power.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> So... what are ways to get clear. Blow the station up?
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Cloe, Bella go help Ben!
<DeathStar> *Cloé jerks and runs off*
* Alicia has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 186 seconds)

<Seraphna> **Cookie muses** I could use the station as a sort of bounce off point, let it take up the pull.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "We might need to do so. The station is doomed in the current circumstance."
<DeathStar> *Ben is helping move the scientists that Kaelan hasn't located from one spot to the other, even with the shaking going on. Cloé waves people like at a school crossing - thankfully the station seems to only have a limited number of people*
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Life support to unecessary sections is off, breathing tanks deployed as a safety precaution. That power's going to engines now...but this dicey.
<DeathStar> <Ben> Bella once the last person comes through close the hanger door
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Alright so how do we blow it up?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Will do!"
<DeathStar> *Ben returns to the bridge*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> It has a core right?
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Cookie, do you have an escape plan?"
<Seraphna> Cookie> Mostly a blast out if here with the light engine or spirit engine. I have a course calculated.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> It's going to damage the engine, no doubt about it, but damage is find if we survive, right?

<DeathStar> *Ben sits* Also keep in mind the pirates waiting
<Jackieness> <Airym> "We have little choice. Its this or the gravity well."
<DeathStar> <Ben> We'll want to escape them
<Seraphna> Kaelan> That I can do.
<DeathStar> <Ben> I've done a search on them and it seems to be a group that might be working with the Hunters.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan and Nox join hands**
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Alright here we go
<DeathStar> *Yuki takes a deep breath*
<Seraphna> **Darkness seeps off the two as the start doing something all Dark like**
<DeathStar> <Ben> I believe the two are going all native, Captain
<Seraphna> **Cookie waits for the all clear then starts boosting the ship out**
<Jackieness> <Airym> "If it gets us out of this situation, then by all means."
<DeathStar> *the problem remains they are still too close to the multiple wells so even as they try to boost, they cannot get away from the station*
<DeathStar> *so whatever the two did, it amounted to..nothing*
<DeathStar> *but it does look like the pirates are checking something out on the monitor*
<Seraphna> **They haven’t done it yet**
<Xanatos> <Pepper> ...this is dicks. 6* She looks at the wells ont he scanners and tries to see if there's anyway to fly towards one and slingshot at the last minute.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I agree with the sentiment, Pepper."
<Xanatos> <Pepper> We're stuck here, we're going to get ripped to shreds unless we can collapse these fucking things or slingshot out.
<DeathStar> *it's a very dangerous proposition, because it takes them even lower than the station currently, but it might be doable*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> You want to do what?
<Seraphna> **Nell comes up and starts using magnetic flows to push the ship forward too** Pick a direction.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Drop a damn nuke in there and try collapse them...if we even have anything that powerful. OR fly towards it along the edge and boost at the apex to try and break hold.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Mireille, how much strebgth do you have left?"
<DeathStar> <Mireille> We can put our speed into the slingslot manuever Pepper suggested
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Make it so."
<Xanatos> <Pepper> IF the ship can't hold and we all die in a giant explosion...this has fucking sucked, but you all were alright.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Ready to go if you are Mire.
<Seraphna> **Cookie grumbles as her nose bleeds, putting in the vector calculations and moving the ship for the manuever**
<Xanatos> 6* Pepper works with Cookie using the bond, making a face at the instant headache of...well allt he stuff Cookie is doing.
<Seraphna> **Nell works on a magnetic field to increase their push as the Dark Ones keep cooking**
<DeathStar> *Mireille beeps a green light for Pepper, 420 times, as they use gravity well, to slingshot and begin to boost up, the Aquarius shaking and as Cloé steps in she falls over*
<Seraphna> **Cookie holds the controls and keeps them on course, adjusting ever so slightly ever time she notices a need for correction, using the full power version of her Spade move**
<DeathStar> <Cloé> This is making me dizzy. *As they begin to escape, the pirates begin to move toward them. Ben checks if they have enough power left to jump with the Tiger Engine*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries to steady Cloe*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan and Nox let out a gasp as they form a giant, terrifying Dark One looking abomination in space outside the ship and it goes Pirate Hunting**
<Xanatos> 6* Pepper holds her hand to her nose, wiping away blood.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Ugh...Cook...your brain okay?
<Seraphna> Cook> I'm doing fine this evening Skipper. Is it nearly time for the 3 hour tour?
<DeathStar> *the pirates pause, as if studying it, then begin to prepare a weapon, causing alarms to go off*
<DeathStar> <Ben> They're preparing that weapon again
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Oh no, Cook is cooked. Mire are you okay, can we tiger jump? Random coordinates ont he safe list?
<Seraphna> **Cookie readies their jump** Let's a go Luigi!
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Get us out of here."
<DeathStar> <Ben> ... I don't know if we have the power, but we can't wait around. *hits the button and they vanish*
<Seraphna> **The abomination heads for the weapon wearing a dark bib**
<DeathStar> *a moment or two later, the power seems to shut off and Mireille is ejected, smoking as the ship exits and they find themselves in a giant tree*
<Seraphna> Cookie> I didn't order broccoli!
<DeathStar> <Cloé> Are we in a space tree?
<Seraphna> **Kaelan and Nox collapse, needing an evil nap**
<DeathStar> <Ben> ... *eyes his dead console, looking lost*
<Seraphna> **Nell peers around, then feels for ore, minerals, etc below them**
<Seraphna> *Like a planet**
<Xanatos> 6* Pepper moves over to check on Mireille
<Seraphna> Nell> We're on a planet of some sort.
<Seraphna> Nell> I can feel the ore and the minerals of the soil and crust.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Attend to the injured. Try to get Cookie on her feet so we can evaluate the ship for repairs."
<Seraphna> Cookie> Happy New Year!!!
<DeathStar> *Mireille sits up her blonde hair looking all punk*

<Seraphna> Nell> I'd say we're lucky, we're in a place we can start repairs and with most of the crew alive.
<Seraphna> Nell> Mire should rest and eat though so she can start recharging.
