<DeathStar> <Ben> Well, after a month's investigation and clearing almost everyone on the ship - even the scientists. it makes the mystery of how the other ship tracked us all the more troubling. *Seniga is there since Tora rarely shows up these days* <Seniga> It is troubling
<DeathStar> <Seniga> It would be nice to blame it on a Hunter among the crew but it might just come down to them having better technology, and somehow using it effectively. The comm channel could be the source somehow that we can't figure out and perhaps one of us turned it on and don't remember
<Jackieness> <Airym> "These pirates did not seek us out until after we interceded in their attack on the station."
<Seraphna> Cookie> And then they wouldn't let us go.
<DeathStar> <Ben> It seems the scientists brought it along with them; it was part of the plans to help battle the Serpent. They've moved the research to the PAX and Adeline is taking it over.
<DeathStar> <Ben> She might have to start from the ground up if the pirates got onto the station in anyway however.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "IT has been suggested that these pirates are agents of the Serpent, either directly or indirectly."

<DeathStar> <Ben> I've spent the month looking into them and it's not looking good. They're calling themselves a familiar name

<DeathStar> *Ben shows schematics for something on the planet* It looks like something is being done and only the Universal higher ups and EarthGov higher ups know. I sent in a request to be informed but it is taking time.

<DeathStar> *Yuki brings up the data* It looks like the pirates who attacked us is called the Red Pirates. Well, technically the Red Snake Pirates, but they're more commonly just the Red Pirates. Are they any relation to ... Fox's pirates? A splinter group who left?
<Seraphna> **Cookie muses** I was wondering how they managed to throw off my precognition.
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "... I haven't heard of them before."
<Jackieness> <Airym> "And yet they are claiming a significant name."
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "... people should emphasise the snake, not the red though. They're not our bunch."

<DeathStar> *The bar patrons all look depressed, even in the colorful bar, drinking. They seem to be wearing various rough outfits*

<Seraphna> **Nox tilts her head and orders a drink** So what's got people so glum today?

<Seraphna> **Nox winks and downs the drink, then vanishes into the crowd, or their shadows, popping up in Yuki's tails**

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Inside Luna itself. It seems there's caverns down there--- *she turns her head*

<Seraphna> Nox> Oh near the core machine or Tsuki's temple? **she peeks out of the tails, eating a snack**

<Jackieness> <Bella> "What if its a distraction while they hit the project site?!" *runs*
<Seraphna> Nox> **Taps comms** Ben we're checking out an explosion, possible distraction for a real hit at the site.

<DeathStar> <Yuki> It's possible. *indeed it looks like the streets leading up to the spot is full of people, some running toward the location, some running away. It looks like what was destroyed was an apartment complex, causing massive confusion all over the place. Police and emergency services arrive to try to do what they can, but it looks like people are trapped under debris and fire is burning*
<DeathStar> *on the scene is Chii, scowling as she helps*
<DeathStar> *and Lemon can be seen helping people*
<Seraphna> **Angela assists with healing people who were injured**
<Dias`> *Chad eyes his datapad as he begins locating people with Idlet's*
<Seraphna> **Nox m,uses and starts sending out tendrils to grab people under rubble from shadows and out to the streets**

<Alicia> * Jikuu and Akatsuki help with the rescue, Akatsuki not bothering to keep a low profile. Quite the opposite.
<DeathStar> *Christina orders people about from her car, getting officers in place to keep the people back*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Looks like some people we know are already on site."
<Seraphna> **3 Betas land nearby and start digging people out and putting out parts of the fire as Angela keeps working**
<DeathStar> <Yuki> It looks like it. *Cloé hurries to join Jikuu in getting people out of the debris, pulling it up as she pulls peope out*
<Seraphna> **Nox leaves a pamphlet in the pocket of each person she rescues about the benefits of worshipping Dark Spirit Nox**
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I think you're right and this was meant to be a distraction
<DeathStar> *She scans the area of nearby apartments*
<Dias`> <Chad> I think I have most of the civilians marked.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Its what mom would do if she planned a major hit..."

<Seraphna> Nox> I mean, it distracts us, but it also alerted all our forces.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Alright, *she surveys the medical teams arriving on sight* It looks like they're mostly set up now at least

<Dias`> <Chad> I'm worried that if there was one there's going to be another.;
<DeathStar> *Yuki whistles to her team* Alright lets go *Cloé pauses and slinks off while Christina gets people rescued* <Lemon> No doubt. We should get ready. They probably want us on the surface.

<Seraphna> **Nox hops into Lemon's shadow and pops out of Yuki's**
<Dias`> <Chad> Well, we can utilize Angela's Beta's to react to any new bombings while we move on.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Sounds like a good idea. *messages Angela she's on savior duty*
<DeathStar> *meanwhile, Yuki eyes a manhole cover*
<Seraphna> **Angela smirks, Betas flying in from orbit**
<DeathStar> <Yuki> So how do we get into the core of Luna? The sewers?

<Seraphna> Nox> I could take us to the Temple, it's not that far from it. I don't know the core itself though.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "If its the sewers, then it would be cliche. Where did Kaelan go though? She sounded like she had an inside connection."

<Seraphna> **Nox nods and warps them to Tsuki's temple**
<DeathStar> *The group arrives near the Red and Blue crystal; Tsukiyomi appears before them, sensing them, Kaelan hanging off of her* <Tsukiyomi> I have more visitors, I see.

<Seraphna> Kaelan> Let me guess, they coming here or to the core?
<DeathStar> *Cloé makes sure not to touch it*
<DeathStar> *Seeing the red/blue crystal, for a moment Akatsuki could swear she sees the world all red for a moment*
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "... oh god, don't let anyone touch that thing."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Tsuki knows, she agreed to guard it for us.
<DeathStar> <Tsukiyomi> You all worry too much. *she reaches out as if to touch it*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Do not!"
<Seraphna> **Kaelan giggles a bit**
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "...seriously, that was such a pain... I'm still seeing red from the time I did..."

<Seraphna> Nox> Whole saving the Moon and everything.
<DeathStar> *Tsukiyomi floats, with Kaelan still hanging off and points*

<Seraphna> Nox> Let's go before Mom starts trying to make out with Tsuki again.

<DeathStar> *the group soon finds themselves in the hollowed out core of Luna*
<DeathStar> *Where they can hear work being done on using the technology left behind in it's center core, turning it into a defense system*
<Seraphna> Nox> Hopefully it doesn't quake the moon apart again.
<DeathStar> *Andrea is there, along with Cheryl, Zephyr, Kane and others, as well as workers*
<DeathStar> *Lemon arrives on scene, out of breath*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "What are you doing?"
<Dias`> *Chad comes up behind her, looking out of breath* ...That's way to much for my age.

<DeathStar> *Andrea turns to the new group arriving* I see we have a security breach

<Dias`> *Chad eyes them and looks at Andrea* There's a reason I recommended using power cancelers set up

<Seraphna> Nox> Oh hey Auntie! **she waves at Andrea, this may have been a compromise to stop Kaelan getting her kids to call Andrea Mistress tgoo**
<DeathStar> *suddenly there's an explosion from the temple's direction*
<DeathStar> *And smoke comes from that way*
<Seraphna> **Nox growls and darts into shadows to check on her mother**
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "I already hate those snakes."
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...like that..."
<DeathStar> *Tsukiyomi and Kaelan are down, being scooped up by pirates in power armor. As Nox arrives, her power is drained suddenly and she's contained in something*

<Jackieness> <Bella> "We shoudl split up,s ome of us head to the temple and the others stay here to keep this place secured."
<Seraphna> **Nox cries out and growls more, banging agiant her container**
<DeathStar> *Andrea begins to have shields drop to close the chamber*
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Well if you're going go now, I'm closing this place up
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "I'll join whoever is more likely to wreck the snakes."
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Let's go!" *heads abck down the tunnel*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "What is going on, anyway?"
<DeathStar> *Cloé hurries out with Bella*
<Dias`> <Chad> ...Someone bring Jikuu up to speed. She's apparently lost already.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> We're using this device along with Dark and Suisen tech to prepare a shield to hopefully withstand the Serpent's attacks when the time comes. It looks like someone wants to set us back a few months - your pirates
<Seraphna> **Nox keeps banging against her container, grabbing her shield bracer and trying to activate it**
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Ah. Alright then. Carry on."
<Jackieness> <Bella> *speeds down the tunnel*
<DeathStar> *Bella comes across the pirates approaching; they open fire on her and Cloé*
<Alicia> * Jikuu heads off with Akatsuki to deal with the pirates
<DeathStar> *in the back Tsuki, Kaelan, and Nox are in containers being taken away*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Oh, fu-!" *tries to evade the fire*
<Seraphna> **Nox is not actively trying to break her container, looking far more focused and well, angry, than she usually is**
<DeathStar> *Cloé rolls in the tunnel as they fire as Akatsuki and Jikuu as they approach as well*
<Alicia> * Jikuu uses TK shields to try to block, throwing balls of dark energy back at the pirates
<Jackieness> <Bella> *comm* "The pirates are on their way to the Core. They have captured Nox, Kaelan, and Tsuki."
<DeathStar> *The pirates stumble; a TK attack grabs Jikuu to her knees and a weapon is aimed at her, that begins to charge up and fires a strange beam. It seems dangerous*
<Alicia> * Akatsuki lashes out with a tendril to knock the weapon off target. "Don't you DARE."
<Seraphna> **Nox scrambles against one side of her container and leap bashes into the other**
<DeathStar> *it hits the roof and part of the roof enters a container*
<DeathStar> *Nox rocks about for now*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *pops out and then begins a dash to try to get past the armord pirates*
<DeathStar> *The pirate turns to eye Bella, firing normal shots for her*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *picks up the pace and then leaps, starting a wall run*
<DeathStar> *the pirates try to shoot Akatsuki to capture her*
<DeathStar> *Bella manages to evade for now*
<DeathStar> *Cloé leaps up and tackles one of the pirates to the ground, turning purple haired and begins to pound her fists into their faceplate*
<Seraphna> **Nox doesn't give up, bashing herself into the container like a wild animal**
<DeathStar> <Cloé> Bad...bad...bad..
<Jackieness> <Bella> *grabs a clump of dirt and then tries jamming it into the beam weapon once she gets close enough*
<Alicia> * Akatsuki opens a foxhole in front of herself to protect against the shots
<DeathStar> *the beam weapon curses and tackles Bella, while Akatsuki's attacker curse;s the TK lifts on Jikuu and grabs Akatsuki*
<DeathStar> *meanwhile Nox breaks free*
<DeathStar> *Cheryl paces, waiting on pirates, while Kane and Andrea's people wor8
<Seraphna> **Nox pants and starts to work on releasing her mommas**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries slamming her fist against the faceplate of the guy grabbing her*
<DeathStar> *Nox is suddenly grabbed by a pirate*
<Alicia> * Jikuu attempts to grab the pirate in return
<DeathStar> *The pirate strains against Jikuu in a TK off*
<DeathStar> *Bella defeats her pirate, revealing what looks to be a human*
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "Why are you even doing this?"
<DeathStar> *Cloé shakily raises from her pirate*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries cleaning off the containment beam and tries firing it at one of the other pirates*
<DeathStar> *by now, it appears to be only the pirate TKing off with Jikuu and Akatsuki*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *fires at that guy's head*
<Dias`> <Chad> The explosions have died down, atleast. *He checks the terminals to make sure the defenses are holding up
<DeathStar> *Cloé approaches slowly, looking a bit scary in her purple mode and as she reaches to crush him, Bella fires right then*
<DeathStar> *making Cloé step back as the helmetted armor melts a bit and he falls over*
<Jackieness> <Bella> W"eird weapon, but...we won?"

And I imagine when the Universal project came up and we began to aid them, which meant aiding the Cartel in part, more people quit, some of them might have joined this new pirate group
