A meeting is held on the PAX with Universal members, being hosted by the Suisen Empire; their hope is that Fate might can shed some light, assuming that she'll arrive; in the meantime, a meeting is being held*

It is a clever use of the Serpent's power in an attempt to weaken you and tap into the Serpent; but I do not think it really believes that it will do all of you in, merely the weaker of you
<DeathStar> <Fate> As for the marks, I know. It is going to attempt to rip your minds away into insanity soon. But you should have time if you can hold on.
<ChadWinters> So it's not worried the Serpent could win and end things? *He studies her*

<ChadWinters> I think going forward, we should assume that they found a way to make it hard for even Andrea and Noire to locate them*
<DeathStar> <Fate> They'll want to sabotage you from getting near the tree when it's time and to stop operations to stop the Serpent from being hurt
<DeathStar> <Fate> As for the other being, I would avoid getting into battles with them. I will attempt to deal with them for you and slow their operations
<Seraphna> Jaime> I may have an idea then. **looks to Adeline like they’ll plan after**
<Xanatos> <Kane> Back when we first encountered the Hunters we tried many ways to find a way to detect them, it was only dark ones and maka. If they're able to protect themselves from those types...hm. That is not ideal.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> If we can find a way to make a new detection it would help

<DeathStar> <Fate> I've been slowing the Marks down for the past few years, but it's gotten to the point I cannot affect it anymore.

<ChadWinters> So those with marks and advanced marks are going to become a liability going forward?
<Seraphna> **Jaime reveals it and grimmaces** Not the gang colors I should be wearing.

<DeathStar> <Fate> At this point, I'm not shocked she is not having constant insane visions; it is likely due to her psionics and mental fortitude.
<DeathStar> <Fate> If it keeps advancing, she will be in trouble

<Xanatos> <Xan> If it becomes too debilitating, would putting someone in stasis protect them?

<ChadWinters> Do you know what happens to the mark if a person is killed that has it?
<DeathStar> <Fate> The mark might still progress but it would matter not

<Xanatos> <Marcus> Chad wanted to murder and then revive them I'm sure.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I think it would just resume once we were brought back.

<ChadWinters> If it resolves the issue. Clinically killing them isn't a problem. It just depends on if the mark disappears or not.

<Xanatos> <Marcus> If the mark was linked to life and then ended upon that life ending...then reviving them after. It's not a bad idea but it sounds like the Mark is linked in some other way.

<DeathStar> <Andrea> As some of you already figured out, I plan to pump my power into the leylines to protect as much of the Earth as I can when the Serpent awakens and begins to do his universal attacks; being so close, I figure Earth, Geyze, and Kumen will suffer the brunt of the attacks, so I plan to shield as much of the planet as I can with the Earth Defense Shields along with my own dark shield

<ChadWinters> I think with Angela's Beta's we can increase the protection area and help reduce casualities.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> I'll tap into the tomes to help power myself up. Plus I've avoided fights for the past few years to allow my dark energy to increase once again.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Everywhere that's not earth will be fucked though, right? Should we try to convince them all to come here...do we even have capacity to do that?

<ChadWinters> I figured that's where the Beta's would focus on.

<Seraphna> Angela> I’ll have to analyze the total coverage to see how many Montana Units it’d take.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> My hope is this serpent is defeated before it gets near Earth

<ChadWinters> I do have a suggestion. And it's up to you Andrea. But you could allow Id in to Earthgov's systems. Angela, you could do the same. And Id would be able to help coordinate and a much higher level than anyone here could.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> The Lunar Shield isn't as strong as what I'm making, but it should be able to protect it fairly well. If it looks like it'll fail, I'll attempt a mass teleport to Earth

<ChadWinters> That would be up to Id to decide. But yes, I know that that is a possibility you have to consider.

<Xanatos> <Kane> In that case we would make haste to the tree and fight back, would we not?

<DeathStar> <Andrea> Yggdrasil is massive; that means the Serpent is also going to be massive.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> It is going to emerge from Yggdrasil, and attempt to .. eat it?
<ChadWinters> *Chad looks at Angela* And I already have something that could work with that. In a way. It's a prototype so it's hard to say it won't overload and fail
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Fate is suppose to warn us so we can have a massive united fleet of all our united races to attack it, so this is probably going to be a space battle. If it ends up being a battle on foot...
