<Dias`> <Chad> Well, here's a scenario. It jumped off Zephyr on to Hotaru. Either it's taken control of Hotaru or it used her as a ride to attach to someone else.

<DeathStar> <Adeline> A lot of modification would have to go through the system to apply that upgrade

<DeathStar> <Chii> Can you upgrade the network those cameras are on to make it so we can see other things like body heat or other sensors instead of what we can just see with the eyes

<Dias`> <Id> As long as the cameras already have that ability, yes. If it doesn't, at best I can add code that will give us the closest approximation to it.

<DeathStar> *as Chad brings up the buildings' cameras, the gnat indeed can be seen entering and moving into it; but the unfortunate thing is it seems to move up along a group of 5 Senators* <John> So it could be any 5 of them? <Adeline> I'll figure out where those 5 have been
<Dias`> <Chad> Taking a Senator would only be temporary. One individual can't change enough that quick.

<Dias`> <Chad> At this point, it knows we're on to them. It'll do what it can to get somewhere powerful quickly.

Thankfully, most of the familiars have been slowly been restored, outside a certain one. Cloé sits outside her home, looking out of it, while what Academy students are around are there celebrating Valentine's Day and a certain birthday*

<DeathStar> <Ren> So how do you plan to level up? Kill some low level slimes?
<Seraphna> Thena> Can find power again. Hard to find life again. Seems like a good compromise.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Group up with you and slay a high-level Hunter."
<DeathStar> *the group arrives finally at the spot underneath where Jikuu would have fallen; Ren cranes her head upward, then looks around, seeing no sign of a body*

<DeathStar> <Rio> N-No sign of Jikuu. Is that good or bad?
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "You haven't seen Jikuu around, have you?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I did not run into Jikku, no."

<Dias`> <Id> Well, if she fell from that height she might not have survived and we'd see some signs of a body. It's most likely she was grabbed.

<DeathStar> <Rio> Grabbed?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Perhaps by the Hunter."

<Alicia> <Kyouki> "No, it isn't."

<DeathStar> <Ren> *makes a noise, grinding her fingers into her arm* Can we try to do a scan of the area, pick up something?

<Alicia> <Kyouki> "We should scan for hunters too."
<DeathStar> <Rio> How should we go about it?
<Dias`> <Id> I will begin so now. *Id floats a bit above the group and begins scanning for Jikuu.* Scanning for Hunters is not so easy.
<DeathStar> <Rio> I'm all combat when it comes to Familiars, so I'm no good at scanning
<DeathStar> *Id begins to pick up signs that Jikuu definitely was here; as well as something else*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm? And all you cna do is fight?"
<Dias`> <Id> Interesting. I have picked up signs up Jikuu and something else. *Id creates a Hard Light arrow to point in the direction*
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "Is that our Hunter?"
<Seraphna> Thena> That something else could be the Hunter, or Juan from Accounting.

<DeathStar> *it looks like whatever it is, it grabbed Jikuu in the air as she fell*

<DeathStar> <Ren> Well, if we can't be sure what it is that grabbed her...we should--- *Suddenly a massive maka type blast rings out and hits the branch they are on*

<Alicia> <Kyouki> "... we have other problems right now."
<DeathStar> *The branch groans, then a piece of it begins to dislodge, sadly the piece they are on*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Id, extrapolate origin! Everyone, move!" *starts running for the tree side*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Run towards the branch that is stable!
<DeathStar> *she begins to run for it as it slides off into space*
<Seraphna> Thena> **grabs Rio and poofs to the stable area**
<Dias`> *Id floats as the rest risk falling. It begins to math what Noire asked it to do*
<Alicia> * Kyouki darkports as many people as possible to somewhere stable
<DeathStar> *as they safely make it, the piece of the branch that was shot off falls away*
<Seraphna> Thena> Hope that branch wasn’t too important.
<DeathStar> *Id calculates and it seems to come from another branch higher up*
<DeathStar> *the shooter begins to aim at their branch again, aiming to blow off another piece*
<Dias`> <Id> It came from above. And it appears to be ready to fire again.
<DeathStar> *as they can feel the energy building up*
<DeathStar> <Rio> This is not fair
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Teleporters, get us up there to say hello!"
<Seraphna> **Thena peer up and launches a TP assault at the energy source** BAD!
<DeathStar> *The energy pauses briefly*
<Seraphna> **Thena grabs Rio and a few others and teleports to it**
<DeathStar> *They arrive at the higher branch where Zayne is located; Gwen tied up at her feet. Zayne switches to her scythe and zooms in at Thena, slicing for her*
<Alicia> <Kyouki> "So, did Zayne finally fall, or is she being controlled...?"
<Alicia> * Kyouki senses for additional life signs
<DeathStar> *Zayne doesnt' seem to be giving off anything odd; her scythe slash curves, cutting at Thena's neck*
<DeathStar> *As she throws something at Kyouki's*
<DeathStar> *sadly, she doesn't seem to be being gentle*
<Alicia> * Kyouki blocks it with TK, whatever "it" is
<Dias`> *Id floats away a bit from the group, scanning Zayne*
<DeathStar> *it looks to be an energy blob*
<DeathStar> *That vanishes*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Contain her!"
<DeathStar> *Zayne forms her scythe into her gun again, aiming at them Noire and fires at her neck*
<Seraphna> **Thena pooped out of the way and away a little, and now comes at her with a Rio**
<DeathStar> *Rio zooms in and begins to punch at Zayne, trying to overwhelm her*
<Seraphna> Thena> Why you keep targeting necks!?
<Dias`> <Id> Because it's attached to your head.
<Seraphna> **Thena uses her Hyper Slap**
<DeathStar> <Zayne> Grah. *she holdsh er weapon up to protect her. Rio and the slap force her to roll, her face burning*
<Alicia> * Kyouki attempts to mindblast Zayne, in an attempt to bring her to sanity
<DeathStar> <Zayne> ... *makes a face and warps out, leaving Gwen behind*
<DeathStar> *Gwen wiggles, tied up*

<DeathStar> <Rio> Oh great, we lost Ren in all that.

<Seraphna> **Thena picks up the Gwen** This shouldn’t be here.

<DeathStar> <Gwen> Shwa. She's lost her marbles. She cut my neck after giving Sunny her present, and after saying "you're fine", she healed me and tied me up!

<Seraphna> Thena> Huh… do hunters have a neck thing?

<Dias`> <Id> Yes. I relayed what Lemon and Kane's group ran in to before we descended.

<Jackieness> <Noire> "There must be a purpose in her actions. Gwen, is it? Did she say anything?"
<Seraphna> Thena> **muses and sends a message to the Peacekeepers that they found a Gwen**
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Just that I was fine. She did seem like she had something to do here and was in a hunting mood. She plopped me down and aimed at you all, blowing that tree

<DeathStar> *Rio looks around, holding the back of her neck, afraid of Zayne now*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmmm...to get us up here."
<Seraphna> Thena> Hmm. **she inspects Rio’s neck and kisses it**

<DeathStar> <Adeline on comms> The other 4's schedules, and the cameras are backing it up, are remaining in their office all day with their staff
<DeathStar> *John walks for the airport* This senator will have a personal shuttle.
<Dias`> <Chad> Just keep tabs on them for now then. *He looks at John* We should hurry then.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Could make sure it needs sudden maintenance.
<DeathStar> *as they step onto the airport, the Senator's shuttle is already being prepped; the senator is onboard with his staff. Thankfully, it's not on the runway yet*

<DeathStar> <Cheryl> So, I wonder why this guy wants to go to Luna suddenly
<Seraphna> **Tabetha peers over the model, if there’s something she can TK so it fails launch check**
<DeathStar> *it seems to be the top of the line civilian model, but if she wanted to run onto the runway, she probably could find something to TK off*
<Dias`> <Chad> Considering what's up there. It makes sense.
<DeathStar> *Cheryl works her way through the airport to talk to the airport staff about delaying the flight; unfortunatly the airport is as unhelpful now as it was in the past. Cheryl gets tangled up dealing with them, so John just walks around toward the terminal*
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "I wonder... is he running away, or trying to get somewhere specific?"
<Seraphna> **Tabetha muses and heads that way** <Can sold them down.>

<DeathStar> <John> I can think of only one thing that's up there that a Hunter in league with the serpent might want to mess with. The shields

<DeathStar> <John> Do an inspection maybe, break stuff.
<Seraphna> **Tabetha heads to the runway and works to cause a failure via TK**
<DeathStar> <John> <Go for it> *As Tabetha pulls things off, the Senator, perhaps sensing danger is coming for them begins to pilot the shuttle away. John rushes toward the terminal, eyeing the shuttle starting to move away slowly*
<DeathStar> <John> IF that thing is on that shuttle, we can't let it get off of it
<Seraphna> **Tabetha hmms, and tears a rotor on the shuttle’s landing gear**
<Dias`> <Chad> Can you punch it? *He unholsters his gun as he aims it towards the engine of the shuttle
<DeathStar> *The shuttle tries to lift off. John grabs Hotaru and goes Dragon Mech form*
<Seraphna> Angela> Got a lock… if it gets up I can bring it back down.
<Seraphna> **Tabetha tries pulling it with TK to slow it more**
<DeathStar> *the shuttle, perhaps knowing it can't get away now, begins to veer off to the civilian flights, aiming to "Crash"*
<DeathStar> *that are trying to land*
<Alicia> * Hotaru tries to keep the shuttle away from other flights
<Dias`> <Chad> I think that's the confirmation we're looking for. *He taps his comm* John, stop that shuttle.
<Seraphna> **A Montana lands in front of it**
<DeathStar> *Thankfully, it's being forced low*
<Seraphna> **Or rather stops falling and thrusts to float**
<DeathStar> *Hotaru and John latch on like a dragon*
<Seraphna> **Montana latches to the front**
<DeathStar> *John rips into the side of the shuttle and moves inside, transforming back with Hotaru*
<DeathStar> <John> Hota - grab the Senator for me and put the gnat in a bottle
<Alicia> * Hotaru goes to do just that
<DeathStar> *the Hunter tries a last minute leap off of the Senator for Hotaru*
<DeathStar> *Running for her neck*
<Alicia> * Hotaru swipes at the Hunter, sidestepping as she does
<DeathStar> *Hotaru manages to grab it*
<Alicia> * Hotaru bottles the Hunter!
<DeathStar> *John meanwhile helps Montana and Tabetha, landing it. Their gnat of a Hunter bounces around in the jar*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> We stopped a Hunter and saved a kidnapped Senator. High fives all around!
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> *arrives with the airport staff*
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> They're willing to help finally

<DeathStar> <John> Okay. *As the shuttle lands and the crews surround the shuttle* We should go to Andrea and help debrief this Senator.

<DeathStar> *going back in time, Jikuu makes a noise as she falls from watching the view, having slipped (?).
