<DeathStar> <Cran> Assuming they're still in the system and not been reallocated by some military officer, the first project of note was a joint project between me and Venerator we deemed a failure and shut down and put away.

<DeathStar> <Cran> A joint Weapon/Dragoon after Zephyr. But if the younger Cran learns X succeeded, he might try to seek it out. We basically attempted to model it after Zephyr's power set and I can't remember which of the Weapons was deemed strongest at the time
<Seraphna> **Angela muses** If only you two knew there would be two successful Guardian DNA grafts after that.
<Dias`> *Chad crosses his arms* Well, the hard part is that we're not fully sure what his end goal is. If he wants to create back-up then that could be his first move.

<Seraphna> Angel> Well I was the weird one who figured out the simplest means to make them was sex.

<DeathStar> <Cran> After that, another military project of note was if the military was ever under attack and Earth was in danger, a project was designed to allow the President to take over everything and control all of EarthGov's forces from the Presidental Tower. I can't remember the details of the takeover box, but the idea was deemed too risky and it was shelved.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "... you don't say."
<Dias`> <Chad> So essentially a skeleton key.
<Seraphna> Angela> Yeah that would be pretty risky.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Also the presidential tower has changed a few times over the past."

<Seraphna> Angela> Curious, do we know what sin Cran represents?
<DeathStar> <Cran> Indeed to all those comments. And the final one was a test on if a human could make a Dragoon Mech without the need for a Dragoon. Since at the time they were the strongest mechs. A prototype was made but it was deemed that the pilot/dragoon pairing made such a single human type mech inferior, due the the reaction time,

<Seraphna> Angela> What did they use for the Mech? A Beta?
<DeathStar> <Cran> Honestly, I believe you've seen everything there is over the years that I cannot think or anything else "surprising"

<Dias`> <Chad> If we assume that his goal is something that the skeleton key could help him achieve, and that those three are something he'd go for, then it would make sense. The weapon/dragoon hybrid could handle the prototype you talked about and that could help him retrieve the skeleton key.

<DeathStar> *Cheryl muses* I wonder where the psionic weapon comes in. <Aya> It might be used to help him

<DeathStar> <Aya> Just know that the longer we go, the crazyier things will get on Earth. It looks like the other groups are slowly moving. *Referring to Atheos and Spade* I fear we might be having a little mini war here soon. And if the other sins come here to play..

<Seraphna> Angela> Let's hope the other teams stop their enemies then. Thankfully a couple at least seem to have no reason to look at Earth.

<DeathStar> <Andrea> 73 years, even with extended age most humans enjoy now, since when Venerator and Cran first began the first PAX - you realize that? And even longer since the Dragoon project.
<Seraphna> Angela> We're hoping to head off a new Cran from starting Cran like activities.
<Dias`> <Id> We're not quite sure what his plans are so we're hoping to get lucky.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Modern cran cannot remembr what would have motivated him."

The second is that you got a clone like that Alexander which is also hard to predict in some ways. And the third is it's from some point in the past, but which point. Is it before he went crazy? In which point, he's a sane Cran like him, or is he mad as a hatter like he was toward the end

<Dias`> <Id> It's more likely the later two.
<Seraphna> **Angela muses** Why do we think it couldn't have brought people from other realities? It's supposedly been invading them right?
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Well, if you think that is a possibility, have a reality scanner ready

<DeathStar> *The first floor has a check in for ID and whatnot, but the security and all that is in ruins, allowing them to just walk right through. There's signs showing record keeping going upstairs for the newest stuff and downstairs for older stuff*
<Seraphna> Angela> Well not everyone an say they kicked his ass. **She mumbles**
<DeathStar> <Chii> I think our dates will be downstairs
<Dias`> <Id> Yes. I'm surprised it isn't more secure.

<DeathStar> *Chii shrugs, moving to go downstairs; as they walk down the stairs, the door to the basement refuses to open, requiring an ID check. Unfortunately, no power runs through the building*

<Alicia> * Hotaru sighs, summons her scythe and just prepares to cut through the door

<DeathStar> *the basement seems to have several terminals hooked up to some sort of system. As they look around, dust has filled the room and at the back there's areas of dust taht has been disturbed, as if someone has rifled through these files. Large books can be found in the back, full of volumes of reference papers to old EarthGov stuff*
<DeathStar> *likely redirecting one to the terminals that are offline*
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "...he must have been here."
<Dias`> <Id> Someone was.
<DeathStar> <Chii> Isn't there anything ...you know... paper?
<Seraphna> Angela> BUt how did he get in?
<DeathStar> <Chii> We can't boot these things up
<Seraphna> ANgela> I've got that... one moment.
<Dias`> <Id> If it was him, he is resourceful.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "... probably an ID and a portable generator or battery."
<Seraphna> **Angela closes her eyes, a few moments later there's the sound of something landing outside and two Betas make their way in and set up generators**

<DeathStar> *Chii skims through the reference papers to try to find the ones they need*
<Dias`> <Id> probably could've powered up the individual terminals. *It floats over and after a moment hooks its own cable up.
<Seraphna> Angela> I was suggesting to.... **She shrugs, one Beta moving cables around**
<Dias`> <Id> I am ready on my end.

<DeathStar> *Chii sets down the papers*

<Dias`> *Id scans the papers then starts searching*
<DeathStar> *the joint dragoon/weapon was listed MIA under a General close to Cran some 35 years ago, close to his retirement, claiming that the item was likely destroyed in a base malfuction that caused part of it to collapse on itself. It was never recovered again*
<Seraphna> Angela> So if that exists, it's either still in that ruin or the general pocketed it.
<DeathStar> *The Prototype Gear is listed as being at a EarthGov military base that in the middle of the North American State, which is currently not responding after the Serpent attack; intelligence from the Asian branch believes the base is likely damaged from the Serpent's attack and has been wiped out*
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Split up again?"
<Dias`> *Id copes those files and then also searches to see if they've been accessed recently. And then also searching if any other files have been opened recently*
<DeathStar> *And the Skeleton Key currently is somewhere in the Asian branch Tokyo military base along with thousands of other items that were shipped from Mega City's branch*
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "Oh wow."
<Seraphna> **Angela muses** The key exists, we know where it is, and there's every chance it could easily be taken. So that's a priority.
<DeathStar> *it does seem as if the files were likely access recently*
<Seraphna> **Angela taps a relay and sends a message to Andrea to keep an eye out for a Cran accessing the Tokyo military base**
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "Oh yeah, that's an absolute priority... unless that's what Cran is thinking. Though if he gets it anyway, we're done."
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "We should probably send the full team."
<DeathStar> <Chii> We might can get lucky and stab him right away
<Dias`> <Id> These files were accessed recently so it woudl appear we're on the right track.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Call it into Cheryl too."
<Seraphna> **Angela nods and winks to Chii, letting Cheryl know**

<DeathStar> *Cheryl eyes the military base before them; the entire base is busy, taking on a lot of work these days and tons of troops are running all over. Zephyr scans the area and walks along, using her ID to get them in*
<DeathStar> <Aya on comms> Their storage area for all of the materials they have received from the other bases will be downstairs
<Dias`> *Chad walks along* We'll head there then.
<DeathStar> *As they walk along, cameras and troops are all over the place, with Zephyr having to ID check them a few more times along the way, even to get into the storage area; which leads down a set of stairs. Once down, they find a massive basement complex full of items*
<Alicia> * Hotaru hurries on in.
<DeathStar> *there are gears, large important looking weapons, storage lockers, and more. They all have ID tags to identify them and in the back are terminals*
<Dias`> <Chad> According to the file's....We're looking for...*He eyes the ID's as he walks along
