<Dias`> *Cel swalks up to the group, having done a sweep of the area*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> 6. *the information on this building lists it as a government building for record keeping on what appears to be government oversight. The few papers that survived on the upper floors seem to indicate that is the case, but a massive vault in the basement seems odd*
<Seraphna> **Thena hops over and starts cutting a hole with hyperspace**
<Xanatos> 6* Kane looks around the area, trying to figure out how this was powered before the damage was done.
<DeathStar> *it looks like it was hooked up to the city's power grid, and when that cut out it had a back up power grid system. But it looks like all that eventually went out*

<DeathStar> *Warren grinds his cane into the ground* Give Kane time
<Seraphna> Thena> Once again we face our most fearsome foe. A door.
<Xanatos> <Kane> The power charging this is inside along the right wall, in this direction. 6* He starts to point it out.
<Alicia> <Red Fox> "It's not like we don't have time."
<Seraphna> Sephie> Doors are so last century.
<Xanatos> <Kane> Perhaps we can destroy that and then hyperspace through the door once the defense is down.
<Dias`> <Cel> If we can find a terminal, you could try and hack it.

<Seraphna> **Libbie feels along the wall, using sensors to pinpoint the power lines**
<DeathStar> *Using Kane's direction and the feeling of the wall, the power source is located rather easily, being a little high up on the wall to the right of the door*
<Seraphna> Libbie> Will cutting the line work?

<Seraphna> **Libbie’s arm shifts and an energy blade turns on, she tries cutting the line through the wall**

<DeathStar> *The place looks decades old, with tons of folders all over the place and in the far back a trapdoor*
<DeathStar> *Adeline lifts up some folders* .. Interesting. *She holds it out to Kane*
<Dias`> *Cel picks up a file as she walks around, looking. She glances at it*
<Alicia> <Red Fox> "Sephie, you read Art of War too? Charlotte loves that book."

<DeathStar> *They seem to be black ops folders, dating back decades. Tons of projects are listed here, who supervised them, what the project is, the outcome, and where they are stored*
<DeathStar> *Kane's talks about the clone projects under Cran back in the day, leading to his continual clone degradation as he moved his mind from clone to clone*
<Alicia> <Red Fox> "Says that's the perfect way to take over."
<Dias`> <Cel> Hmmmm. *she makes a face and pulls out an Idlet which floats up and starts moving about, scanning files as she opens them for it*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane pulls out his datapad and starts scanning to digitize this folder so he can look over it the data later.
<Seraphna> **Libbie rifles through papers, scanning at the rate of seeing them** Lots here.

<DeathStar> *Adeline flips documents* It looks like there is a ton of black ops projects, mostly old ones.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> *She tosses one down on Adam and Cassandra*

<DeathStar> *Adeline begins to sprawl the folders out; as she does, it becomes obvious in the corner, there's a taped number on each, beginning with #1 up to 150. But a few numbers are missing*

<Seraphna> **Sephie begins speed scanning and counting out what’s missing**

<Xanatos> 6* Kane peers the folders over.

<Dias`> *Cel pulls out a flashlight and shines it down the trap door hole*

<DeathStar> *the light reveals a ladder going down into darkness*

<Dias`> *The Idlet floats by, looking at it quickly before moving to the files that Adeline has set out, quickly scanning them*

<Seraphna> **Thena and other Thena hug as one goes down**
<DeathStar> <Lemon> It looks like a spare index card on where to store the folders. *she points at the places the folders fell out*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane looks to see where the folders fell out, making sure nothing else happens.
<DeathStar> *they land in what looks to be an empty labatory, in disuse long ago*
<Dias`> *Cel listens for a moment and then heads down after the not dead poofed canary*
<DeathStar> *their footsteps echoing among the containers that have not seen use in god knows how long*
<Dias`> *Cel shines her light around, looking for a 3rd set of foot prints
<Seraphna> **Thena forms a crystal light and peers around**
<DeathStar> *Kane would see a box labled Spade experiments. Adeline compares it, and sees 45 likely came from that area's box.*
<Seraphna> Thena> Space Pirate Thena calls loot claim.
<Xanatos> <Kane> Perhaps this is all to teach us more about what happened to him.
<DeathStar> *the ground down below has wet spots and indeed they do find something, near a empty lab container, where it appears someone was standing*
<Seraphna> Thena> It’s empty!
<Dias`> <Cel> Id. Here now. *After a moment the Idlet turns and heads down to where they were and begins scanning the lab container*
<Dias`> <Cel> The question now, is for how long.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> We'll see. *She moves around, trying to determine* He took something on a psionic experiment. And ... Something more recent. *She quiets*
<Alicia> <Red Fox> "Okay, now that's useful."
<DeathStar> *the container, as Cel scans, has a faded label on the bottom*
<Seraphna> Sephie> What was it Momma?
<Alicia> <Red Fox> "I wonder what the something more recent was..."
<Dias`> <Cel> Adeline. When you guys are done up there, we've got an empty lab container down here. *She kneels down to try and make it out*

<DeathStar> *Adeline turns and heads down the trapdoor, floating with her TK*
<Seraphna> **Sephie and Libbie head after her**

<Alicia> * Red Fox sighs quietly. "I guess we leave her to get over what's bothering her."
<DeathStar> *The scans mostly pick up very old DNA fragments from long ago in the tube*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane looks to see what she was looking at, before following.
<DeathStar> *Adeline arrives at the area where the others are in the alb*
<Dias`> <Cel> Id, scan the label and try and decipher it. *She looks at the lab container*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> What do we have here?
<Seraphna> **Sephie hugs Adeline from behind and peeks**
<Dias`> *The Idlet drops low to scan it* <Id> I am picking up very old DNA fragments. I will try and cross reference with known samples.
<Alicia> * Fox quietly follows, letting the subject drop for now
<Xanatos> <Kane> Check Spade's sample first.
<Dias`> <Id> Yes, that was my intention.
<DeathStar> *Warren finally arrives, dusting himself off*
<DeathStar> *the first fragment is indeed Spade's*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Check for Tabetha's.
<Seraphna> **Sephie tilts her head curiously**
<Dias`> <Id> I have Spade DNA confirmed. Checking. *There's a pause as he then compares it to Tabetha's*
<DeathStar> *her DNA is not a match*
<Dias`> <Id> Not enough matching markers.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... Interesting.
<Seraphna> Sephie> Different attempt?
<Seraphna> Libbie> Try Angela Bennet.
<Xanatos> <Kane> Try Adeline and Wade, then we can go from there. It could mean there's another out there related to Spade in some way.
<Dias`> *There's a moment as it compares the scans to Adelines and Wades*
<Xanatos> <Kane> Hm, yes Angela is worth checking as well.
<Dias`> <Id> Interesting. I have finally been able to clean up the label. "Spade Prototype III"
<Xanatos> 6* Kane moves around using his lights to look for anything else they may have missed.

<Jackieness> <Josephine> "That lab is alot like the place you guys dug me out from."
<Dias`> <Id> Congratulations Adeline. While I have not found a match yet, but you and Wade would appear to have a sibling
<Xanatos> 6* Kane pauses in his searching to glances from Id to Adeline, to see how she's taking that information.
<Seraphna> Sephie> Aunt or Uncle. We will have to teach.
<DeathStar> *Adeline muses* I do not recall having one in the workshop. They likely perished if I do. *she pauses, then turns looks around; Kane and the others around see many other containers like this one spread out*

<Dias`> <Id> This one may most likely be older than when you were made.
<DeathStar> *Adeline moves around, studying other capsules, seeing if there are any worth studying*
<Seraphna> Libbie> Did we get another DNA match yet?
<Xanatos> 6* Kane considers then continues to the old lab doors, looking first to see if there's any sort of traps on it.
<Seraphna> **Thena takes pictures of each capsule**
<Dias`> <Id> I am currently working on it. Please be patient for all I have are small fragments to work off of.

<DeathStar> *the lab corridors split into two directions, one heading toward what looks to be the main area, while the foot steps continue toward what looks to be experiments*

<Dias`> <Cel> We'll send someone down the other way. *She moves down after hte foot prints*
<DeathStar> *Adeline looks around, but seems intent on following the footsteps*
<Seraphna> **Libbie’s eyes project a light out ahead of them**
<DeathStar> *As they reach an open door for once, they team arrives what looks to be an area behind a glass, showing into a day care for kids. But before them are a set of buttons. The day care looks to be in bad shape, the toys in ruins, some torn in half, others burned. There's weapons lodged in the wall*
<DeathStar> *A door to the side leads into the daycare*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I wish I could see into the past sometimes.

<Xanatos> 6* Kane goes to kneel by them but pauses and nods to Libbie.

<Alicia> <Red Fox> "I just hope Dias had a good childhood. Chad too, but given that, I doubt it."
<Seraphna> Libbie> Seems intact. **she pulls out a charger and starts hooking up the others**

<Dias`> <Cel> Winters didn't talk about it, so we never asked. But records do show he spent most of his being raised by Cran.
<DeathStar> *the datapad reveals the scientists talking about the children's abilities compared to Spade*
<DeathStar> *and their disappointment in most of them, and arguing what is missing*
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "For those who remember, I was Cran's private secretary. That is what a career in miltary intelligence gets you."
<Dias`> <Id> Interesting. These appear to be research datapads from the workers here.
<DeathStar> *it looks like they believed male clones were the way to go for the first many years to go and tried again and again, but they either were lacking, and were too much like Spade and became uncontrollable*
<Seraphna> Sephie> Treating them like people, duh. You can’t form a causal relationship in a tube. **she eyes the data**
<Alicia> <Red Fox> "... they tried to clone Spade, and got someone like Spade. Is anyone surprised?"
<Dias`> <Cel> The tubes helped age them quicker and to make sure the dna and treatments set in. *She looks around a bit*

<DeathStar> *it looks like this was all happening at least 5 years before Adeline*

<Seraphna> Libbie> VI was very bad at recruiting scientists from all their records. Of course it’s probably hard to recruit empathetic people into black science.
<Dias`> <Id> They were on a budge I imagine. They had to produce results quickly.
<Xanatos> <Kane> This is so troubling to me, ethically there is no grey area here, this is completely wrong and they are so...casual about it.

A moment later they lift off, trying to break escape as clamps from the spaceport appear to lock on*
