<DeathStar> <Ako> Yet it feels much more sinister this time
<Jackieness> <Moira> "So where do you think she's going to hit?"
<DeathStar> *Zayne steps off last, her magical girl outfit covering any wounds*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> I confess I do not know
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> We have two options right now. See if Chris has any leads at the police station, or hope that Rainshine feels a connection. Come on. *she begins to head for the station*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Maybe she's going to get personal with Christina."
<DeathStar> <Ako> Due to the bullet in the brain?
<DeathStar> *As they exit the spaceport and walk along the streets, they're strangely emptyish*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...where is everyone?"
<Seraphna> Michelle> Bloody spooky.
<DeathStar> *Rachael looks around, then peers around. Lenny keeps a hand on her hip*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Lore... did you call ahead?"
<Seraphna> Sia> Very bad.
<Seraphna> Lia> Maybe little bit of Tsuki she has make place creepy.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> She knows we're coming--- *As she says that, noises suddenly echo down the empty streets and along the flashing noir signs. Strange creepy voices*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *puts a hand on her sword*
<Sara> * Rainshine looks around, on edge
<DeathStar> *Sunny gang members appear from the darkness, moving forward* Oh look. People out after curfew. Should we escort these lovely ladies home?
<Alicia> <Asha> "This is definitely trouble. It looks different, but it feels exactly the same as Geyze being on full alert."
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Lore... how much force?"

<DeathStar> *The group move forward, tapping bats in their hands, one reaching for Rainshine's arm to tug her*
<Sara> * Rainshine smacks with her wand

<Alicia> * Asha darts forward to smack one of them.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...I'll try."
<DeathStar> <Man> You little.... *Asha smacks him into a wall*
<Alicia> <Asha> "Meanwhile, I'm not so little."
<Seraphna> **Sia and Lia start freezing gang members**
<DeathStar> <Man 3> They're fighting back. *They ready the bats* <Man 4> They don't seem to want to go to the shelter. *The 3 other men edge forward, and swing at Asha when Sia and Lia begin to freeze two of them*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *adjusts the grip on her sword to strike with the flat of the blade and then dashes forward, trying to dopeslap them all into submission*
<DeathStar> *Moira then slaps the 3 onto their back*
<Seraphna> **Michelle forms her now and uses foam arrows to take more down**
<DeathStar> *The men decide to retreat - as best they can* Fine. Your funeral. *They take off back ino the darkness. A moment or two later, Luna shakes roughly*
<DeathStar> *taking a few moments before it steadies*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "We need to put Sunny down before she destroys the moon."
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Alright, this way
<Seraphna> Sia> Tsuki needs get control.
<Seraphna> Lia> Yep.
<DeathStar> *Zayne glances back at where Tsukiyomi went off to*
<DeathStar> *She motions them along down the street and arriving at the police station that has barricades set up*
<Sara> <Rainshine> That's a bad sign, right?
<Alicia> <Asha> "Oh, definitely."
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Come on. Watch out for bullets in case they have someone jumpy on watch."

<DeathStar> *Zayne floats up into the air and bypasses the defenses, landing at the door*

<DeathStar> *Lorelei carefully makes her way to the door, trying not to be cut; Rachael, Ako, and Lenny following*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *tries to get past the barbed wire*
<Alicia> * Sparkling does likewise, Asha attempting to parkour past and Celeste just making her way normally
<DeathStar> *Zayne reaches out and helps Asha as she parkours up to the door*
<DeathStar> *As everyone reaches the police station door, Lorelei opens the door to find the area in ruins, as if the moon were ripping the station in half.*
<DeathStar> *Rachael flails*
<Seraphna> Michelle> Jeebus, the fuckin’ moon is the enemy now.
<DeathStar> *Ako eyes everything and looks about* Wow. *She spots the police having made new defense points due the cracks in the floor
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Her fake moon goddess is doing this."
<Sara> <Rainshine> But what about the police? Are they okay?
<DeathStar> *Lorelei points* I see Christina's office over there. *She avoids the cracks and makes her way over there8

<DeathStar> *they indeed find Christina in there, along with some officers, dealing with the aftermath of all this*
<Sara> * Chris looks very very tired, like she's been working non-stop

<DeathStar> <Rachael> I guess we don't need to bring the news that Sunny is back
<Seraphna> Lia> Good job!
<DeathStar> *Rachael looks around while Lenny looks into the crack*

<Sara> <Chris> Hey... it's you lot. Wait, how'd you get in-- whatever. After Sunny, right?

<Sara> <Chris> Wish I knew. What I can tell you is that her cult's been active again and they seem to pop out in force every time the moonquakes happen. They're uh, offering some sort of protection racket. Not exactly looking like anything better than a common mob.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Ran into some of her goons outside. Sent them running, but looked like they had the run of the place."
<Sara> <Chris> Best I can guess, they probably are involved with the quakes since they seem to know when they're gonna happen.
<Alicia> <Asha> "Yeah, I'm actually glad they're just a common mob."
<DeathStar> <Ako> Protection racket. They were trying the same thing with us. They mentioned a shelter.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei messages Durt*
<DeathStar> <Lenny> Hey everyone. This crack. It goes deep.
<DeathStar> *She looks back* It might go into the moon itself
<Seraphna> Michelle> Prolly down to the core facility?
<Sara> <Chris> This poor doomed world... guess she's finally tearing it apart for real.

<DeathStar> <Lorelei> So we have three problems then, the Sunny followers and their protection racket, the fake Tsukiyomi, and Sunny.
<Dias`> *Lorelei get's a message back from Durt*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I guess that means we have to save it."
<DeathStar> *Lorelei moves to the crack, peering down* I suppose the biggest one is the fake Tsukiyomi right now
<Sara> <Chris> Couldn't tell you where she is -- but you can be sure she'll be wherever the worst place she could be is, by our reckoning.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "If we take out the fake Tsukiyomi, Sunny won't be able to use her power to hit the whole moon at once."

<DeathStar> *Lorelei eyes the datapad*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Maybe there might even be a more direct entrance there even if she's not squatting on the Moon Shrine."

<DeathStar> <Lorelei Do you mind if we borrow one of your vehicles
<Sara> <Chris> Go ahead, no one's gonna care like this.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei heads for the garage*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *follows Lore to their ride*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei grabs the key and selects one of the larger armored vans* Everyone in. *Ako, Rachael, Lenny, and Zayne get into the back as Lorelei gets into the driver seat*

<Sara> * Rainshine gets in

<DeathStar> *it's Valen's datapad and Vesper is messaging Valen, getting to the point of worried/demanding he respond, or else she is going to come where he is*
<DeathStar> <Rachael> Vesper is threatening to come save Valen

<Seraphna> **Michelle fakes a message back that he’s okay** There.
<Alicia> <Celeste> "Save him? Is he in trouble?"
<DeathStar> <Lorelei>? He's with Durt inside the moon

<DeathStar> *Rachael studies the response* She seems to know that's not Valen and is coming over immediately, thinking you're an enemy spy
<Alicia> <Asha> "...let her, I guess? We could use the help?"
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Rachael, text back saying that you have Valen's tablet and were just going to take it back to him."
<DeathStar> *suddenly as they're driving, spikes are thrown out on the road and they run over them; the armored car making noises as Lorelei jerks the wheel and crashes into a store*
<DeathStar> *Rachael jerks and loses it in the crash*
<DeathStar> <Rachael> Ah crap my head... *She goes looking for it*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...fuuuuuuu-"
<DeathStar> *Ako and Lenny shake their heads while Zayne holds Rainshine in place with her arm*
<DeathStar> *people begin to surround their vehicle and bang on it, trying to get them out*
<Seraphna> **Michelle grumbles then shifts and kicks the back doors of the van out**
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> I think...the wheels are okay...
<DeathStar> *the people outside begin to try to pour in*
<Seraphna> **Michelle follows the doors with arrows, shifting to defend it**
<DeathStar> *she drops a few people while more just rush and grab at whoever they can*
<DeathStar> *pulling Sia and Lia out*
<Seraphna> **Sia and Lia mewl then cast something, sleeping must firming outside**
<Jackieness> <Moira> *draws her sword and goes on the counterattack*
<Seraphna> **mist forming
<DeathStar> *Sia and Lia are dropped outside the van in the mist*
<DeathStar> *while Moira slashes into the remaining attackers and gets them to be driven back, forcing them to lurk in the store, staring*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei starts them back up* <Lorelei> Got it
<Seraphna> **Michelle rolls out after them since she doesn’t need to breath and unfolds two riot sticks**
<Seraphna> Michelle> Moira grab the brats.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *swings herself back into the van*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *grabs the two and hauls them in on the way*
<DeathStar> *the people eye Michille, not getting closer as Lorelei begins to back up, bumping into Michelle*
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Pardon. *She turns and begins to drive out*
<Seraphna> **Michelke bashes some skulls rolling back in**
<DeathStar> <Rachael> Uh.... are we...forgetting 2 somethings?
<DeathStar> *Lorelei drives fast as she can when one of the attackers aims a weapon at the back and a rocket begins to fly*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> .... !
<DeathStar> *She pushes Rainshine down*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...are you kidding me?! Rachel, flame it up!"
<Alicia> * Sparkling shields the car
<DeathStar> <Rachael> *fires as best she can, a large flame ball*
<DeathStar> *The rocket exploding against the shield, giving the van a boost*
<DeathStar> <Rachael> We definitely after this is done need to find those loyalist and their prisoners
<Seraphna> **The twins yawn in the back**
<Sara> * Rainshine jerks
<Seraphna> **Michelle sighs and charges an arrow**
<DeathStar> *after a drive the team arrives at the moon shrine where the two Tsukiyomis are kneeling, holding hands; the Tareh one clearly aiding the Prime in restoring her power. It does seem the quakes have slowed down a bit. The two seem to be in a sort of trance*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei gets out and eyes the two, peering out at the pathway into the moon itself behind them*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...ok... ours are here. Also open to attack once Sunny realizes what' going on."
<DeathStar> <Rachael> So it means Sunny is in the moon
<Sara> <Rainshine> As we guessed...
<Dias`> *Lorelei datapad beeps again*
<Seraphna> **Sia and Lia start to set up protections**
<DeathStar> *Lorelei peers down* Durt has found the Eldrich one
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...where? We shut her down, Sunny will lose most of her power."
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> She's at the core where the shield machines that protected the moon. All she has to do is destroy those and it'll rip this moon apart.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> I imagine she's gathering what power she has to set off a chain of events now
<Seraphna> Michelle> So we whack her first.
<Dias`> *Her datapad beeps again*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei heads for the nearby moon, glancing down8
<DeathStar> *Lorelei responds*
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Lets move quick. She's probably about to make her move
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Do her followrs want to die? Helping her win will kill them too in a particularly gruesome manner."
<DeathStar> *She runs*
<DeathStar> <Rachael> Damn fanatics *hurries*
<DeathStar> *Ako just jogs while Lenny speeds quickly, like a God*
<Seraphna> **Michelle heads with them, tapping people to give them speed boosts**
<Jackieness> <Moira> *runs down with the team*
<DeathStar> *Zayne hurries along, holding her wounded side*
<DeathStar> *The tunnels, unfortunately, are maze like, but Lorelei uses her datapad and Durt to guide them*
<DeathStar> <RAchael> Are we goig to be ambushed in here?
<DeathStar> *She looks around as they run*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Its not like we have any altrnate paths."
<DeathStar> *As the group runs, Rainshine begins to feel dizzy like the previous times*
<Alicia> * Asha stays alert. "No."
<Sara> <Rainshine> Ugh. *she holds her head with one hand as she moves*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei turns back*
<Sara> <Rainshine> N-Not... not this way...
<Seraphna> Michelle> Focus Rainshine. Keep yourself.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei turns* The Eldirch Tsuki is down this way. Durt is waiting. I got his beacn
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "It's okay to turn back if you don't feel up to it."
<DeathStar> *She points straight ahead, even if RAinshine seems to indicate a tunnel to the right*
<DeathStar> *Zayne puts a hand on her daughter*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Sunny must be down the righthand tunnel."
<Seraphna> **Michelle heads on, trusting Rainshine to catch up.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei studies Rainshine* The bigger threat right now is Tsuki, but you do what you feel you have to do
<DeathStar> *she hurries on*
<DeathStar> *Zayne heads right, perhaps trusting her daughter*
<DeathStar> *or checking it out*
<Sara> * Rainshine has gone that way regardless of anyone else

<Jackieness> <Moira> "Hope this doesn't bite us..."
<DeathStar> *Ako, RAchael, Lenny all go straight*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *sticks with the main group*
<DeathStar> *The team arrives in the core area with a massive machine and Lorelei ducks down with the others near where Durt is. Valen has vanished mysteriously on a mission to spy*
<DeathStar> *The area is has begun shaking as Eldrich Tsukiyomi is touching the machinary and seems to be doing something, black unnatural energy attaching to the stuff*
<Dias`> *Durt glances back as they arrive. He points towards where Tsyuki is*
<Alicia> * Sparkling goes with Rainshine, while Asha and Celeste stick with the main group
<Dias`> *Durt then starts moving ahead, slipping behind cover as he tries to get closer*
<Seraphna> **Michelle muses about her arrows, selecting a UV burst to get ready**
<DeathStar> *Lorelei and Rachael creep along as well as the shaking gets worse*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *moves along with Lore and Rachael, since she's a melee type*
<DeathStar> *the machinary begins to shift as the eldrich energy begins to move it*
<Dias`> *Durt slows to a stop as he glances back at Lore, looking for a signal to go*
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> *signals for everyone to get ready on 3*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei signals 1*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei signals 2*

<Alicia> * Asha leaps onto it, Celeste shortly after
<Seraphna> **Michelle lays out two more arrows**
<DeathStar> *Lorelei unleashes her angel powers she has learned at it*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *draws her sword and then moves in, trying to take the fake Tsuki as quick as she can*
<DeathStar> *Rachael unleashes fire*
<Dias`> *Durt leaps over his cover and he dashes in at E-Tsuki, going low to stay out of incoming fire*
<Seraphna> **Michelle aims and fires her U-V arrow at the Fake, Sun Energy!**
<DeathStar> *the fake Tsukiyomi is hit by all their attacks and screams in pain and rage, wripping with dark moon light pieces of it at the team*
<Seraphna> **Michelle then starts firing two foam arrows at the machine to hold things in place**
<DeathStar> *Trying to crush them and make the inner moon more unstable as pieces of the moon fall on them*
<DeathStar> <Ako> Look out! Things are coming down!
<DeathStar> *Michille manages to stick some of the machine in place ahead of time*
<Seraphna> **Michelle leaps away and fires another arrow up to net some of the rubble**
<Dias`> *Durt rolls to the side a bit as he tries to avoid rubble thats incoming. He pulls out his pistol and starts firing shots at E-Tsuki*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *sticks close to Fake Tsuki, slashing with ehr sword to try to get her off-balance for the others*
<Alicia> * Asha and Celeste move between rubble, Asha more deftly
<DeathStar> *Lenny slashes along with her while dark eldrich liquid pours out of her from the attacks, some of it splattering on Moira and making her feel unwell*
<DeathStar> *the fake Tsukiyomi slams her hand into the moon itself, pouring the dark liquid into it, trying to poison the moon*
<Dias`> *Durt kicks off in at Tsuki and throws an uppercut for her face* Moira cut her hands!*
<Seraphna> **Michelle fires an ice arrow for her arm** Knock it off bitch!
<Jackieness> <Moira> *tries to remove Fake tsuki's hands at the rists*
<Jackieness> wrists
<DeathStar> *it falls over, ahndless and uppercutted, landing on it's back*
<DeathStar> *the Tsukiyomi begins to fall apart, melting into the ground* <E-Tsukiyomi> The wish...ends...
<DeathStar> *The poisonous body begins to dissolve into the ground*
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> We have to stop it
<DeathStar> *Rachael tries to blow it upward*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...is it over?" *looks ill*
<Seraphna> **Michelle nods and starts blowing the chunks of ground it seeps into**
<Dias`> <Durt> Damnt...
<Seraphna> Michelle> Stop it from infecting the moon.
<Dias`> <Durt> Yeah, got anyway to rip it all back out cuz I don't.l
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...it got me..." *flops*
<Alicia> * Asha tries to burn it out
<DeathStar> *Lorelei checks Moira out, eyeing her hand and the symbol appearing on her*
<Seraphna> **Michelle starts firing arrows around the ground it seeps into with blinking tips**
<DeathStar> <Ako> Is a symbol going to appear on the moon/
<Dias`> <Durt> Let's hope not.
<Seraphna> **Michelle shifts back then activates the explosives, directional blasts**
<DeathStar> *As the two begin to destroy as much of the eldrich stuff as they can, a small amount eneters after it dissolves*
<DeathStar> <Lenny> Was it enough?
<Seraphna> Michelle> I’d say a small amount got in.
<Dias`> <Durt> We'll have to keep tabs on it...Where's Rainshine and Zayne?
<Alicia> <Asha> "THey went off the other way with Sparkling."
<Dias`> *Durt pulls out his Idlet* Id, monitor here for us. We need to group up with them.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei stands up* I'll lead us back to the tunnel
<Jackieness> <Moira> *groans*
<DeathStar> <RAchael> I'll take Moira somewhere to rest. *As she says that, oddly Moira begins to feel better as the symbol centers itself on her breasts*
<DeathStar> *just like the ones touched by Nyarl*
<Seraphna> Michelle> Be careful, that symbol brings bad mojo into bearers heads.
<DeathStar> *down on the ground, a very faint shape has formed like Nyarl's symbol, but due to the efforts of the group, it's not as defined and barely there*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *sits up* "...wha...what? My head just cleared."
<Dias`> *The Idlet floats above it and scans/monitors it while Durt follows after Lorelei*
<DeathStar> <Rachael> *throws an arm around Moira anyway and helps lead her to where --- Lorelei stands before the tunnel being collapsed*
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> It's... gone
<Seraphna> Michelle> What, the tunnel? So we’ll go another way.

<Dias`> *Durt eyes it* They went down this way?

<Sara> <Rainshine> Uff... My head... but I'm sure this is the right way... *she glances at the booth*
<DeathStar> *Zayne touches her head and the pain lessens, as something on her shoulder seems to move*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> She is around here
<Sara> * Rainshine blinks, looking around.

<DeathStar> <Zayne> That feel better? *studies the mine carts as she moves toward the booth; as they get closer, the moon's shaking and with a hint of explosives by the entrance, explodes the entrance to the tunnel they came through and destroys it as their fellow maka begins to follow them, beginning to bury her if she does not hurry*
<Alicia> * Sparkling hrries through after them
<Sara> * Rainshine turns to look in the direction of the explosion, and covers her mouth when she sees Sparkling just barely making it
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "What sort of person blows up their own base?"

<Sara> <Rainshine> A psychopath... it's her style, right? Supposedly?
<DeathStar> *She goes to open the door to the booth when she's blown 20 feet back*
<Sara> <Rainshine> Mom! *she runs over to check on her*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "SHould we just start expecting everything to explode?"
<DeathStar> *Zayne sits up, burn marks all over herself as she tries to heal* I-I am fine. T-There was someone in there....

<DeathStar> *A figure drops down from the booth and seems to run for the two nearby mine carts, leaping into one*
<Alicia> * Sparkling leaps into the other
<Sara> * Rainshine follows after Sparkling
<DeathStar> *Zayne stumble falls into the other, hanging off the edge as both carts go*
