<DeathStar> *after several days in an unknown reality, the team has relocated closer to the crashed site of the PAX, which has caused a massive crater of sorts in the Kumen City, causing damage to the buildings and what few people that were there to leave; but what seems to be more concerning is a massive mountain slowly forming in the distance, which is what caused Erevis to move them further away from it*
<DeathStar> *Taiga takes parts from the crashed PAX, using it to try to make a gate for the group to return to their reality*
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns at the mountain**
<DeathStar> *Ren crosses her arm while Charlotte and Victoire are off getting supplies from within the PAX*
<XanTop> 6* Xan looks through the crashed Pax, scavenging anything that could be useful.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... I'll say it. What is that and why is it here?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I couldn't say; it appeared after their Adeline and Gnome left
<DeathStar> *Xanatos would find himself being watched within the dark hallways as he'd find plenty of machinary and scrap still about*

<XanTop> 6* Xan pauses and looks around.

<DeathStar> *Ao stares at him from within the dark - or their Ao - like some hobo*

<DeathStar> *Their Ao glowers, eyeing her wrecked home, then him*
<DeathStar> *there's a snoring sound from the back of the shuttle that Line has been piloting*

<DeathStar> *Ren turns the light off* That beats my record

<DeathStar> *Taiga looks annoyed* I feel like something is blocking my gate attempts. Maybe I should try to send out a signal for help instead

<Jackieness> <Noire> *shakes ehr head* "How annoying." *starts up the shuttle and heads for the mountain*

<DeathStar> <Erevis> In any event, perhaps we should form a party and go with Noire.

<XanTop> 6* Xan nods to Ao and Syiean for their help, looking over a box of parts that Taiga might be able to use.
<XanTop> 6* Xan pauses and glances at his message .
<DeathStar> Message: Going to Sauron's mountain to unblock gate
<XanTop> <Xan> Ah shit they're heading out, I'll take these back. Thanks you two. 6* He nods to Ao and Syiean and moves to go catch up with the others, dropping off the parts.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'll keep working on sending for help with Line.
<DeathStar> *Ren and Erevis begin to follow while Megumi hands Kaori a ration to eat*
<Seraphna> **Jaime blinks a bit, looking at the two** If things get hairy bring Leyaeh to the shuttle.
<Seraphna> **Jaime then heads back with Xan**
<XanTop> 6* Xan drops off the parts for Taiga and gives her a thumbs up before jogging off after the others.
<DeathStar> *Erevis, Ren, and Megumi walk toward the mountain, exitting the city proper. As they near the mountain, strange trees begin to dot the land*

<Seraphna> Jaime> This is getting odd.
<DeathStar> *Ren reaches out, as if to try it*
<XanTop> <Xan> Getting? Didn't this mountain just appear?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *scans the mountain from the air with the shuttle's sensors*
<XanTop> <Xan> You can't seriously want to eat that fruit?
<Seraphna> Jaime> I would not recommend eating fruit likely made of eldritch goo.
<Dias`> *Id floats down from the sky next to Xan* I have finished scanning for any remains of that come back Legion.
<DeathStar> *Noire, up in the air, would get various conflicting scans, but beofr they register, a massive rock suddenly speeds at the shuttle*
<DeathStar> *Erevis glances up at the sky* <Erevis> Hold on
<DeathStar> <Erevis> The mountain has targetted Noire
<Seraphna> **Jaime tries to halt the rock with TK and Earth Spirit power**
<Jackieness> <Noire> 8attempts evasive maneuvers*
<DeathStar> *The rock slows down enough for Noire to evade when a massive hand erupts near the group on the ground to grab the shuttle*
<DeathStar> *By now the scan comes in at least*
<Seraphna> Jaime> **takes in a breath and guessing what’s up, tries to counter Gnome**
<XanTop> <Xan> Why are they attacking us?
<Dias`> <Id> Because they are evil.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I am un--- *She studies as the shuttle is released with minor damage and the hand turns to smash Jaime now*
<DeathStar> *which includes everyone else near her*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Aieee! *She leaps*
<Seraphna> Jaime> **starts to head away from the others as she glows in Half Spirit form** Gnome!
<Jackieness> <Noire> 8tries to get the shuttle away*
<Sara> * Kaori jerks
<DeathStar> *Jaime runs away and suddenly the mountain opens up to eat her and close back up*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *comm* "Sensors are showing spirit and eldritch energy in that thing."
<Dias`> <IdComm> It would appear that reviving the spirits caused them to be infected.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *comm* "Jaime, I would also like to add that your counterpart was an idiot, and you were clearly the superior Jaime."
<Seraphna> **Jaime forms a barrier around herself and braces**
<DeathStar> *Erevis approaches where Jaime was eaten*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Uh

<Seraphna> **Kaelan hops out of Erevis shadow and frowns**
<XanTop> <Xan> Any of you know how to dig?
<DeathStar> *Megumi taps on the ground, testing the strength*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Nocty darling, track Jaime’s shadow.
<Dias`> <Id> I know how to dig, I'm just not capable of it.
<XanTop> <Xan> I guess I could look for a shovel... 6* He looks around with a squint.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... and the superior Jaime was just eaten." *tries to scan for Jaime's energy signature*
<Sara> <Kaori> Ironically, I think the reason she's superior is that she eats more. That's how it works
<DeathStar> <Ren> You really got to stop bringing spirits across realities - one day that is going to bite you
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I have never once done so.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> She follows me.
<DeathStar> *Nocturne manifests and checks*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm..." *brings the shuttle down so that the others can board*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Took her to do what.
<DeathStar> *Megumi eyes the ground as if it's dangerous, then the shuttle which is also a sitting duck, then makes a grumpy cat face and gets on*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Not sure, but she is the only spirit on a planet that divides its energy among the spirits. We should be careful.
<XanTop> <Xan> MIles already?
<DeathStar> *Erevis steps onto the shuttle with Ren* <Ren> That's the problem with an Earth spirit
<XanTop> 6* Xan gets into the shuttle, thinking.
<XanTop> <Xan> So Jaime can just teleport if she really wanted to get away, right?
<DeathStar> <Ren> She can't teleport but she can quickly move through the earth itself
<Jackieness> <Noire> "The rules of this reality are not normal." *takes the shuttle into the air once everyone has boarded*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> And Jaime probably could but she’d get damaged with that bad hyperspace.
<DeathStar> <Ren> So are we going to approach directly again?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> We could hope Gnome is occupied now.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Unless Jaime can keep Gnome distracted, approaching too close could be dangerous..."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I could also shadow warp us.
<Dias`> *Id floats on to the shuttle*
<DeathStar> *Erevis thinks* I wonder where Adeline is in this equation. <Line on comm> Are you getting any technology scans?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I could shadow portal us too, but we'd be jumping blind."
<XanTop> <Xan> Maybe she's the one with the tech that's blocking us?
<Dias`> <Id> Perhaps finding a way to outsmart us and Jaime.
<DeathStar> <Ren> That would make sense
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I should probably mention that Adeline is a summoni.
<DeathStar> *Ren lifts up Kaori* Kaori - turn into a fox and sneak up into their lair
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... so why are they bothering us now?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Outside blocking the gate or us approaching the mountain?
<Dias`> <Id> I imagine they want to be left alone and we're not doing that.
<XanTop> <Xan> A summoni? I always for what does that mean, she is a summon or she can summon.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We are not here by choice. We would have left already if we were not being actively blocked. There is more to it."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> She has a link to a Spirit, in this case Gnome.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Let us get close and find out why they are keeping us here
<DeathStar> *Megumi tries to do math calculations*

<DeathStar> <Megumi> I'm 50/50 sure on a jump coordinates if you want to try it
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Well, I’m hoping Jaime did.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I can use her shadow location to help.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If they wanted her dead, they would have jumped her after the other Jaime."

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Kaelan, jump us there. I can prepare an emergency return portal just in case."
<DeathStar> *a shadow portal opens, looking thicker than normal*
<DeathStar> <Ren> ... Don't tell me that's solid wall or something and I'm about to be crushed
<Seraphna> Kaelan> My guess is spirit power is stronger here. Shall we?

<DeathStar> *the group finds themself in solid hard mud or maybe it's a type of sap, making it so they can't even move as they enter; with Jaime being there as well. Some machine coords are hooked up to her through the sap, running upward; the only thing that seems moveable is Jaime's mouth, perhaps allowing her to run it still*
<DeathStar> *Ren gacks as she tries to flail*
<XanTop> <Xan> Uh oh. I can barely even flex my cheeks
<DeathStar> <Erevis> This is hell
<DeathStar> <Gnome> Oh. There are more flies
<Seraphna> **Kaelan grunts**
<XanTop> <Xan> Catch us up Jaime, has she lost it?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Gnome…
<DeathStar> <Gnome> I will let Adeline know there are more for the project.

<Seraphna> Kaelan> Okay, growing annoyed. **she focuses and burns foxfire to get her sword arm up**
<DeathStar> *Working through the hard sap, more cords begin to work their way toward the team; for the briefest of moments, the sap weakens to allow it to touch the group*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan uses the chance to push Truth out if the sap**
<DeathStar> <Gnome> It will... hm. I see we have trouble makers.
<Dias`> <Id> I do not like this.
<DeathStar> *Ren uses foxfire to surround herself as well*
<DeathStar> *As Truth is pushed forward*
<Dias`> *Id tries to create a hard shield on it's surface to see if it can at least free itself from contacting the sap*
<Seraphna> **Truth if freed takes form and leaps up over the Sap**
<Dias`> *Hard light*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *forms multiple dark matter bullets like what she used on the PAX days earlier, and then sends them out flying to try to damage the machinery*
<Seraphna> Truth> You have become twisted.
<Seraphna> **Truth slashes at the machine parts**
<DeathStar> *Erevis tries to burn with hyperspace around her as it approaches.* <Gnome> Well. *She sounds pissed, an unusual sounding tone* If that's how you all are going to be. *the sap suddenly increases in hardness, trying to crush everyone to a pulp* We'll get it from those in your camp
<Seraphna> **Jaime finally uses her staff to Dark Warp to get behind Gnome and she starts trying to cancel her out**
<XanTop> 6* Xan starts to eye laser at the sap around him, trying to cut himself free.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Enough. You are not this!
<Jackieness> <Noire> *closes a fist and then the dark matter bullets start fluying at Gnome from every direction*
<DeathStar> *Erevis unleashes hyperspace throughout the sap and Ren hurks as she is being crushed, using her strength to try to not be balled up*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan shifts into Fox form and tries to leap out before the sludge can close in**
<DeathStar> *the group would find that their attacks simply hit "Sap", Gnome not actually being there*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Its a construct!"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Can you get us back out?
<Seraphna> **Jaime peers around**
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Try a portal Noi.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries opening a shadow portal to the shuttle*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Adeline… what are you doing.
<DeathStar> *the sap tries to block off the portal*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Hurry through!"
<DeathStar> *while Erevis helps Xanatos and Ren through*
<Seraphna> **Jaime brings stone up to block the sap** Get to it!
<Dias`> *Id does its' best to get to the portal*
<XanTop> 6* Xan holds a hand over his eye after doing so much lasering and moves with Erevis' help.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan sighs and grabs Truth, heading through**
<DeathStar> *as they begin to return through, Ren coughs and winces, holding herself. Megumi glances at them*
<Dias`> *Id scans them as they come through*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Ren?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *walks through once evryone has passed and closes the protal*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Just bruised
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If I were to guess, they are likely going to invade our own reality...thus the need for our reality energy."
<DeathStar> <Megumi> The mountain has begun to grow more strange plant life
<DeathStar> <Megumi> While you were gone
<Seraphna> Jaime> Why though? I could have just brought them back with us.
<Dias`> <Id> I wonder if they plan on using this planetoid to do it.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Or…
<Seraphna> Jaime> …Look for Ygddrassil’s energy…
<DeathStar> <Erevis> They seem to have some desire for the signature.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> The reasoning was cut off
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Or they are obeying the will of the eldritch being who brought them back for the other Jaime."
<XanTop> 6* Xan wraps a bandage around his eye until it can heal.
<Seraphna> Jaime> It’s Adeline.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Twisted but still her. And this plant life.
<DeathStar> *Erevis pats Xan's back*
<Dias`> <Id> I believe Jaime plans on trying to save them.
<Seraphna> Jaime> How similar are these plants to the ones at the roots.
<DeathStar> <Megumi> I'm not an expert, but I would say not that similiar.
<Seraphna> Jaime> My best guess is this is something to do with Yggdrasil, which should be tied to our signature.
<DeathStar> *Megumi brings up bushes with black berries, trees with black fruit, and other stuff, all with strange black stuff*
<Dias`> *Id floats over to them and scans them*
<DeathStar> <Megumi> Yggdrasil's roots come from Centerpoint
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...but Yggdrasil is a wreck in space now. The Serpent tore through the upper trunk."

<DeathStar> <Megumi> But only the upper branches. The majority of the lower and mid tree is still fine
<XanTop> <Xan> Should we get some of that fruit and run tests on it?
<Dias`> <Id> I am currently trying to ascertain what makes these fruit special.
<Sara> <Kaori> If we can, it couldn't hurt.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Can’t hurt. We really need to learn more.

<Dias`> <Id> I am scanning them for all known organic and inorganic materials.
<XanTop> 6* Xan starts scanning the fruit on his own.
<DeathStar> *Megumi studies a comm message coming in while they scan and checks on it*

<Seraphna> Jaime> If it’s origin you don’t wanna eat that.

<DeathStar> <Megumi> We need to head back to the camp now
<XanTop> <Xan> Eldritch and...spirit mixed in there.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> That is an odd combination
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods and gets the shuttle ready to take off*
<Dias`> <Id> Well, considering how quickly Spirit energy spreads. Mixing them would probably help to increase the spread of Eldritch corruption.
<XanTop> <Xan> So they're eldritch beings if they're creating stuff like this?
<XanTop> <Xan> Did we know that already?
<Seraphna> Jaime> We guessed.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan helps get the shuttle going**
<DeathStar> <Ren> So. If they are those things then there is no saving them
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Buckle up." *takes them back to the camp*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yeah…
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I would also point out that this is clearly a Monkey Paw situation."
<Dias`> <Id> Than that will make it easier to deal with them.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I’m fairly certain Nyarl planned this part out.
<Seraphna> Jaime> The other me called her a traitor.
<DeathStar> *As they arrive at the camp, the group finds the other ship wrecked on it's side against the PAX, Jikuu X ripped in half having clearly been protecting someone, her body bleeding out and her biotect parts sparking, and Taiga's set up looks wrecked and Taiga is laying awkwardly in a pile of red fluids*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Those who can, get down there while I land this thing!"
<DeathStar> *Ren leaps out and winces, holding her leg, then moves over to Taiga, rolling her over*
<Seraphna> Jaime> They took Kaori I think.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ren, is Kaori still in the back?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime checks for the others who should still be there too like Si and the Ao Clan**
<DeathStar> *Erevis glances at the back of their shuttle*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Unless they teleported back there while we were talking
<XanTop> 6* Xan, once they're low enough for him to safely leap out will do so and mover over to Taiga's side with Ren.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan checks for Kitsune**
<DeathStar> *Erevis warps down to the round*
<Dias`> *Id floats out after Xan*
<DeathStar> *Taiga looks groggy, having been hit in the head*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan also checks for her people**
<XanTop> 6* Xan checks to see if that's blood all over taiga.
<Dias`> <Id> Why are they still alive?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *lands the shuttle*
<Dias`> <Id> Curious. *Id scans the area for the any signatures of Gnome or Adeline*
<DeathStar> *indeed it is* <Taiga> Sorry. I tried to stop them from taking Victoire and the younger Jikuu, as well as Line. She got stabbed pretty well by their Adeline.
<DeathStar> *Ao and Syiean also lay off to the side, with wounds that are fairly bad*
<Seraphna> **Truth starts triage with her healing powers**
<XanTop> <Xan> Who did this, Adeline?
<XanTop> <Xan> Hard to believe she could do all of this herself.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yeah. She came in with some strange creepy weapon
<Dias`> <Id> With enough prepwork it wouldn't be hard.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "*disembarks form the shuttle and approaches the others* "...next time we see her, we kill this Adeline."
<XanTop> 6* Xan starts working on dressing Taiga's wounds.
<DeathStar> *Taiga winces as Megumi works on re-setting up their equipment*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I got the SoS out at least. Hopefully they can force the gate open
<XanTop> <Xan> Everyone get basic first aid on anyone injured.
<Seraphna> **Jaime helps Truth with healing, using Manifestation now, albeit carefully**
<DeathStar> *Ren puts Jikuu X somewhere proper to be buried later - and so Victoire doesn't freak out at seeing her*
<DeathStar> *Truth and Jaime manage to save Syiean, but Ao seems too far gone*

<Dias`> <Id> Two. So I would assume In and Out of the area.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It was like she got in under the defenses me and Line set up, then blasted us
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And can you detect the destination from the second jump?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Can we follow it?
<XanTop> <Xan> I think everyone could stand a little bit of revenge right about now.
<Dias`> <Id> I do not think it works like that but I will see what I can do. *Id floats over to a spot and hovers there*
<Sara> <Kaori> Even I'm angry.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Gnome can’t warp though… so how…
<Dias`> <Id> Warping of this nature would most likely technological based.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Hm. *While ID triesto track it* I wonder if the warp could be forced open

<Seraphna> Jaime> **gently rubs her face and grabs a datapad** Is there hyperspace in it?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Could she have stashed her project before she died here…?
<Dias`> <Id> It would depend on what she used to create a stable warp gate here.
