<DeathStar> *Ao heads up the hanger search with Lorelei while Erevis remains on the bridge, eyeing the data coming in*
<XanTop> 6* Kane scans and peers over bits of the shuttle.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Is there anything we can do while this ... boring work goes on?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... we should head to the station where he had his shuttle servicced and see what we can find out."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I wish we could do that instant poof there
<DeathStar> *Ren goes to check out a shuttle*
<Seraphna> **Angela inspects parts, betas helping to sort them, diving into her speciality on shuttles**
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** Yeah, wish I understood any of this.
<DeathStar> *Adeline peers to Jaime* Well, the scans indicate the shuttle was in the middle of hyperspace when it had it's accident and it was the type Xvar--Xevil- was in when it blew up

<XanTop> 6* Xan has the footage frozen at explosion point attempting to get an idea of where the explosion started so they can try to determine what could cause that.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> But due to the severe nature of the accident
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** I'm surprised we found so much of the shuttle if it blew in hyperspace.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Parts should have travelled light years and burned up.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Oh scattered pretty far. But not as far as calculations had.
<DeathStar> *Adeline leads to the areas it scattered, showing the area they had to search* I guessed it would leave pretty much nothing, but it's left organic material and some of the shuttle.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Maybe he was coming out of hyperspace as it blew? That would account for the shorter distances if the shuttle was actively slowing.
<DeathStar> *Xanatos would see in the video, Xvar heading into the back with the engines where they seem to explode; him in the back barely in view*
<XanTop> <Kane> That's my theory, if the explosion or a purposeful action initiated the drop from hyperspace, it could explain why some of this was left in tact
<Seraphna> Jaime> Can you even teleport out while in hyperspace if not a Progenitor? It's risky even for us.
<DeathStar> <Aya> You believe someone tried to kill him?
<Seraphna> Jaime> The fact that it happened in a space he couldn't possibly have escaped from lends to that idea over faking his death.
<DeathStar> <Aya> It does seem odd that you all were suspecting him and then suddenly he dies though
<XanTop> <Xan> Assuming he was a good solid person who wasn't at all evil, it certainly seems like sabotage. It's a sudden explosion, so I don't think there was a bomb involved but we can't see what he's doing there.
<Seraphna> Jaime> It does, unless whoever was using him as a stool pigeon was aware we were watching.
<XanTop> <Xan> We need to find the shuttle's black box...but that's like a needle in a galaxy.
<DeathStar> *Cuddles comms them all* I've gotten enough organic material to determine the race of the individual

<DeathStar> <Erevis> There is some 8th Sin going on about and Xevil mysteriously blows up; either by another person or by his own hand. Until we know more, I am not ruling him out on the suspect list.

<DeathStar> *Ren looks around what appear to be a normal way-staion for ships needing to get "gas" and other things in the middle of nowhere*
<DeathStar> <Ren> This reminds me of an earth gas station for hover cars
<XanTop> 6* Kellin looks around, having joined to investigate.
<XanTop> <Kellin> Pretty standard set up, yeah.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... but with pressure tight bulkheads."

<Seraphna> Kaelan> Now boys, Suisen reps here. Surely we don't want a scuffle.

<XanTop> <Kellin> Shuttle had an accident, we're just trying to track down all the details. This was the last place they stopped.
<DeathStar> <Men> I don't see anything about being an inspector from the Suisen Empire's Shuttle and Maintaince. *he looks at Kellin, listening*
<DeathStar> <Men> We had nothing to do with improper shuttle work
<Seraphna> Michelle> THen ye won't mind us takin' a look. Even with that poor eyesight o yours.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm... this is a criminal investigation now. Please do cooperate."
<XanTop> <Kellin> We weren't suggestion you all had anything to do with it. Just following up on all leads, I'm sure you understand.

<DeathStar> *They step in and after some yelling, the man in the office tells them to come in*

<DeathStar> *Ren rubs her ears as she steps in to find a small alien pacing* <Manager> First thing first, you all better not be pinning anything on me
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Wouldn't dream of it, we in fact think the victim may have been responsible for his own death. We just need to confirm.

<Seraphna> **Kaelan looks things over, some tendrils sneaking into a nearby shadow to scout around the back**

<DeathStar> *Kaelan would find people mostly enjoying the food joints, cafes, etc, while waiting on refills - which is how this place makes their side money outside the refilling*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Alright it looks Xvar stopped her, began to refill and moves to go to a cafe and meets with another Tsivrixsh
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... another Tsivirxsh?"
<Seraphna> **Kaelan continues to act like she's paying attention as she probes more** Track that one too.
<XanTop> 6* Kellin tries to get eyes on the tsiv to see if he recognizes them.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Also ID the vessel that other came in on..."
<DeathStar> *The two are seen talking, the new one very animated and passionated while Xvar just eats his food, Xvar rises and pats his shoulder, then they stand up and walk together through the shopping area, reaching a blind spot of the cameas near the edge of it, then after a few minutes the two seem to split up, Xvar returnning to his shuttle*
<DeathStar> <Ren> You want me to rewind and track the other?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Yeah. Let's get both.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Yes..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I am wondering if they switched places."
<DeathStar> *Ren fiddles with the machine*
<DeathStar> *going back to the meeting, then follows him to where he came from, locating his vessel* Okay, found his ship
<XanTop> <Kellin> This busts my theory that he found Ka'pla and swapped her in somehow.
<DeathStar> *it looks to be a typical Tsivrixsh ship*
<DeathStar> *then starts the video up, tracking him to the meeting*
<Seraphna> **Kalean checks the logs on that ship**
<XanTop> <Kellin> May be worth trying to trace where the other one went and try to reach them to figure out what they were talking about.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Precisely. Right now, that other Tsivirxsh is the closest we have to a witness or even suspect."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Seems to be a typical vessel, nothing overtly special.
<DeathStar> *they arrive at the meeting, they go to the edge, but this time she follows the other as he goes back to his ship, finishes refilling, and immediately requests to leave the dock and sets up a hyperspace lane to the tsivrixsh region*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> In a hurry huh?
<DeathStar> <Ren> I'll copy both of them. *she turns to look* You think Xvar really switched?
<DeathStar> <Ren> He'd have to have sabotaged his ship ahead of time
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Not sure, but the guy being so eager to leave is a bit sus.
<XanTop> <Kellin> Hmmm.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Can we see ships while they were busy?
<XanTop> <Kellin> Could ask around the eating area to see if anyone overhead what was being said.
<DeathStar> *brings up videos of the ships while they were eating*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Also since we are dealign with Sin powers, potentially... we cn't take anything at face value."
<DeathStar> *you can see the crews refilling the Suisen shuttle, going inside it, etc. And for the Tsivrixsh cruiser, they can be seen refilling and doing check ups outside*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Is it... normal for them to board someone's ship?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... depends on the services paid for."
<DeathStar> <Manager> It's unusual, we can be asked to board it to repair something, clean something
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Check his requests.
<XanTop> 6* Kellin checks the request
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Did any of your employees mention something strange they had observed while fulfilling their duties?"
<DeathStar> *there is indeed a request to fix the steering - reason - "I keep pulling it too hard and breaking it"

<DeathStar> <Ren> It's like every weird thing he does, there's something to cover him
<XanTop> <Kellin> He requested a fix for his steering.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We need to track down this other Tsivirxsh."
<XanTop> 6* Kellin rewinds the vid feed to freeze frame on the worker.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> It fits him... yeah.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Both where they came from and where they went."
<DeathStar> <Manager> I'll get him if you want
<XanTop> <Kellin> Just doing a double check that this is a known employee.
<DeathStar> *he studies him and flips through his employee logs*
<Seraphna> Michelle> Still the only contact being another Tsiv fits. But the DNA also matched Xvar. Maybe we can at least learn what he was up to for his vacation.
<XanTop> <Kellin> We could ask him if he noticed anything odd as well, so yes can speak to him once you verify.
<DeathStar> *The manager grabs comm* Just know this employee has a bit of a spotty work ethic. *After having the employee brought in, the employee can be seen slouching and leering at the females of the team*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan lets him, being a bit distracted even has her tendrils keep exploring shadows about the station**

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm... I see. Tell me, while servicing this ship..." *indicates Xvar's ship* "Did you note anything suspicious?"
<DeathStar> <Employee> Mmm. Maybe. Do I get a reward if I tell? Like a wolf alien? *Ren blinks*

<XanTop> <Kellin> Obstructing an investigation carries a charge. We're just trying to do our job here, help us out, won't you?

<XanTop> 6* Kellin sighs and pulls out a pair of cuffs.
<DeathStar> *Ren bristles*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "You are advocating the practice of the felony crime of slavery of a sentient."
<XanTop> <Kellin> I listerally just told you why I can arrest you. Obstruction of a criminal investigation.
<XanTop> <Kellin> Cooperate and we'll move on with our day because none of us want to do the paperwork.
<DeathStar> <Employee> Bah. The shuttle looked fine to me. I just gave the wheel a glance over and it looked fine
<DeathStar> <Employee> Needed some oil, which I squirted once
<XanTop> <Kellin> So no repair work done?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Was there anything odd about the inside the ship?

<XanTop> 6* Kellin pockets the cuffs and rubs the bridge of his nose.
<DeathStar> *Manager stamps the employee's file*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... tempting as that might be, he would give you food poisoning, no doubt."
<DeathStar> <Ren> So we need to find that other Tsivrixsh.
<DeathStar> <Ren> I suppose their name is on the file
<XanTop> <Kellin> Yeah. 6* He moves to get the name.
<DeathStar> *The manager holds out something to Kellin as well*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Only if the ship was in their name... their real name."
<DeathStar> *The name on file is Xa'n*
<XanTop> 6* Kellin takes it and nods.
<DeathStar> <Manager> It's the employee's vest camera. I have no idea if it showed anything
<DeathStar> <Manager> The footage is all yours, now that he is terminated
<XanTop> <Kellin> Oh thank you for this, I appreciate your assistance.
<DeathStar> <Ren> I'm also done copying the footage over here
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...that was curious that he would deep six himself like that right in front of the person who could terminate his employment."
<DeathStar> <Ren> You think he did it on purpose?
<XanTop> <Kellin> Well maybe this footage shows something, let's look at it on the shuttle before we head out, just in case there's something incriminating.
<DeathStar> *Ren heads back to the shuttle and begins to send the data to the PAX*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I would not rule it out... either that, or he is simply too dumb to live."
<DeathStar> <Adeline on comm> We're receiving the information
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I'll look into seeing if we can find this Xa'n
<DeathStar> <Adeline on comm> Did you all want me to see if I can look into that employee?
<XanTop> <Kellin> Adeline can we add a note to check in on Ka'pla and her whereabouts?
<XanTop> 6* Kellin watches the bodycam footage.
<DeathStar> <Adeline on comm> Sure. *she can be heard turning to Charlotte* Charlotte. Begin a search on Ka'pla while the others are coming back
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If you can spare the time. It may be a red herring, but this employee seemed suspicious all the same."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> *comm* "I feel like X'an is a fake name."
<DeathStar> *The footage shows the employee doing his jobs - poorly, going to the ships and barely doing them, but as Kellin surmised, he does poke around a lot*
<XanTop> 6* Kellin tries to scrub to the Xvar ship.
<DeathStar> *As Kellin jumps to it, it almost jump cuts to the day of suddenly, where the guy is doing his work leading up to Xvar, then can be seen moving toward it*
<DeathStar> *Ren's ear twitches*
<DeathStar> *the employee steps up the ramp to Xvar's ship and inside, peering at the steering wheel and studying it, messing around with it*
<DeathStar> *then gives it oil, then turns and leaves, heading down the ramp and movig toward the employee area, where it jumps cut again to him lounging around for hours*
<XanTop> Looks like he turned the footage off and on a bit. Worth looking into but maybe just cutting out unauthorized breaks. Worth looking into him though.

<DeathStar> *she rewinds it back to before Xvar arrived and notes it was turned off almost an entire 24 hour period*

<DeathStar> *the shuttle arrives where Adeline has taken a break from the shuttle wreckage to go through the stuff they retrieved, leaving Aya and Kane to go through the shuttle debris8

<DeathStar> *Erevis stands behind Adeline on the bridge, as she goes through the info*
<XanTop> 6* Kellin steps down and holds out the chip with the footage to Kane.
<XanTop> <Kellin> Check if it was shut off or has been manipulated. 6* Kane nods and begins to look it over.
<DeathStar> *she pages Kellin to the bridge*
<Seraphna> **Jaime leans against Adeline softly giving support and watching**
<Dias`> <Chad> Id's still trying to finalize the calculations. It's just....difficult the longer this goes on.
<XanTop> 6* Kellin pauses and then moves for the birdge.

<XanTop> <Xan> Considering the rest of the debris were much less spread out than projections...it's probably not in the area we suspect it would be in.
<Dias`> Chad> We should be happy we were able to recover what we could.

<DeathStar> <Adeline> Charlotte located your Ka'pla. She's on the Tsivrixsh Homeworld, becoming a pawn in Tsivrixsh poltical games after Kyuun's death
<DeathStar> <Adeline> They believe she is the next Emperor in the making, and some want her to rise up and others want her dead

<Jackieness> <Noire> "So why did she meet with Xvar?"

<XanTop> <Kellin> X'an was the man who met with Xvar. I just brought up Ka'pla because that's Xevil's daughter.

<XanTop> <Kellin> A theory I have is that X'an is a loyalist and discovered Xevil alive and tracked him down to try and pull him into political machinations. Sounds like Ka'pla is already caught up in that.
<XanTop> <Kellin> But by all means tell us what you found on him, Adeline.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> You are not too far off I suppose. X'an is one of the Tsivrixsh who is behind watching over Ka'pla.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Why he was meeting with Xvar I am not sure. Your theory is as good as any

<DeathStar> <Erevis> We also should try to go to the Tsivrixsh homeworld and try to find Ka'pla. The Tsivrixsh do not quite have a full government anymore after their last war - it was a condition
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm...and if Xevil cna jump bodies...that means that Ka'pla may be in immediate danger.."

<DeathStar> <Aya> I think I know where the black box might be but after looking what Kellin and the others have found, if it is Xevil
<DeathStar> <Aya> I doubt there will be a blackbox.

<DeathStar> *Cheryl arrives at the station with Angela* <Cheryl> You sure you want to go meet with Spade?
<DeathStar> <Aya> If you're going to go, make sure to send a drone or something
