<Seraphna> Jaime> The planes seem divided between Chaos and Order, not so much good and evil. Unless that has changed too.
<DeathStar> <Freyja> That matters little in the matters I am discussing. Think on it. What truly makes something a God?

<Seraphna> Jaime> I would think those that believe them, put their faith in them. A God isn't much of a God without anyone to believe in them.
<DeathStar> <Freyja> You could say a few mortals have nearly achieved that
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...or playing around the the Yggdrasil and Centerpoint remnants."
<DeathStar> <Freyja> Jaime has touched around the subject. The belief in them - the legend in them. As long as one continues to speak on them, their name holds weight. It is why beings like Tsukiyomi gain more power as she has more worshipers as do Ama. They also proclaim themselves "Gods". You could say they are not and are just powerful - and a large group could beat them

<DeathStar> <Freyja> But the more lore and people believe in them, the harder it is to put them down due to the knowledge and belief - that is what *I* think makes them rise again and again

<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, even fear of them is a form of faith. The more we fear something the more real it could be. NOne tend to actually worship the Gods of Death or Underworlds, yet they persist because mortals fear what they control.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Fear of her name probably gives her power to some extent too.

But it is clear the wheels are turning faster than I had intended. Do you wish to be crowned Empress - here and now - quietly on the bridge.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Feels a bit weird to be doing this without her. **she looks a bit conflicted** She's still becoming Empress too right?

<Seraphna> Jaime> I play fair, you know that. **She smiles a bit** Though I am getting a sense you're doing this because you intend to go down to Hell and don't know if you're coming back.

<Seraphna> Jaime> **she nods solemnly, since avoidance on that is pretty much a confirmation**
<DeathStar> *She puts the crown on her head* Then you are the Empress of the Empire. Remember to act accordinly. *she returns to the others*
<DeathStar> *Ren has prepared a lunch to go while Cheryl has decided to make Chii and Freyja stay behind on the ship* <Cheryl> Hopefully this will be a quick rescue mission

<Seraphna> **Jaime rubs her head a bit and sits in the main chair curiously, but it's not a look of joy one would have expected her to have, watching her mother go**

<DeathStar> *X stares up in the sky as Dias goes meteor crashing into some ancient structure*
<DeathStar> *trying to avoid Xevil's aura of insanity that he's putting out and the army that seems to have enclosed around Sparkling and Melodie*
<Dias`> *There's a rumble from it as Dias slowly pulls himself from the hole he made* <Dias> This is bad. *The structure cracks more as he disappears and reappears by the group*
<Dias`> <Dias> X...*A warm erupts from him as it begins spreading out, as if searching for something*
<DeathStar> <X> You okay? <Kaleb> *slams a few of the monsters here*
<Dias`> <Dias> For now. But I think you guys need to find Nyarl. *He locks his eyes on Xevil as the Warmth begins to grow hotter*
<DeathStar> *Xevil appears from the ground, using shadows, grabbing Dias' legs*
<DeathStar> <X> .. If that's what you think is.... *Kaleb whips around*
<Dias`> *Dias slams both his hands into the ground to try and prevent Xevil from tossing him. He then twists in an attempt to flip Xevil out of the shadows and onto the ground* I'm trying to see if I can feel it.
<DeathStar> *Xevil appears some distance away. As Dias feels what looks to be a faint echo of what is mostly inside Xevil right now, far far away on the moon, Xevil rears his fist back and punches at the group from a distance, suddenly slamming the group away*
<Dias`> *Dias is ripped out of the ground and tumbles along.* I feel something on the moon. I'll give you guys a chance to make a dash for it.
<Dias`> *The aura of warmth coming off Dias suddenly disappears and something colder begins to eminate off him, slight areas around him begin to distort before returning back to normal*
<DeathStar> *X wipes something from her mouth and helps steady Kaleb* Yeah. Alright.
<Dias`> <Dias> Make sure you keep those two safe. *He motions as he starts walking towards Xevil and his army, the aura crackling more and distorting more*
<DeathStar> *Xevil studies him and semes to be studying something, before forming an strange alien like knife and slashes in front of him, and slashes appearing in front of, to the side, and behind*
<DeathStar> *Then stabs right for inside of him* Play time is over
<DeathStar> *X takes the time to escape with Kaleb*
<Dias`> *Dias leaps forward towards the punch infront of him, throwing a punch at the side of it to push it aside ashe stumbles forward, eyeing the stab inside of him* Dirty....*He tenses as the cold aura erupts outwards, insanity crackling within it*
<Dias`> *The slash infront of him*
<DeathStar> <Xevil> Hm. I can see why you're the annoying one.
<DeathStar> -Time Return-
<DeathStar> *Fate arrives in Kadath and immediately dry heaves*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Is she suppose to do that?
<Seraphna> Angela> **frowns and pats her gently**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "....I doubt it."
<Dias`> <Id> I doubt it. But considering her condition.
<Dias`> <Id> And considering the jump we took, I imagine it took a toll on her body.
<DeathStar> *Andrea wields a large mace, looking around what appears to be smashed relics to Nyarlathotep*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm... it looks like there was an uprising."
<Seraphna> Angela> Mmm, someone may have been usurped.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I also don't see anyone to greet us
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around for clues*
<DeathStar> *The castle, or what is left of it, overlooks the mountop*
<DeathStar> *with the moon hanging low near them*
<DeathStar> *They seem to be in the dreamlands, but with the mountain being so high, it is hard to tell what shape the dreamlands itself is in*
<XanTop> <Marcus> ... 6* He starts sniffing.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Alright. This place seems to be in rather poor shape.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Whatever happened her was titanic."

<DeathStar> <Erevis> Do we explore the castle more?
<XanTop> <Xan> Yeah.
<DeathStar> *she eyes the remains of the castle*
<Dias`> <Id> Indeed. It does not match what it looked like the last time.
<DeathStar> *Even with months later, Marcus would pick up Dias' scent*
<XanTop> <Marcus> Dias has been here. The scent is old.
<Seraphna> Angela> How old?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...then where could he and the others have gone?"
<XanTop> <Marcus> Couple months.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Interesting. I could try a spell if you want
<DeathStar> *she shows a tome*
<XanTop> <Xan> ID, go up high and see if we have anyone aroun d us?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> You don't need to be doing those
<Seraphna> Angela> ...I'd say that's a long time but we still haven't cleared his room in the mansion base as livable.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm?" *turns to look back at her mother*
<XanTop> <Marcus> I'll try to track down his direction and we'll go from there. 6 * He starts moving around sniffing to get an idea of direction.
<DeathStar> *Andrea shrugs; Fate meanwhile seems to have recovered*
<Dias`> *Id begins floating up to start scanning*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Let us keep our sorcery in reserver, mother."
<XanTop> 6* Xan pulls out his pistol and starts look around the area immediately around them.
<DeathStar> *Id would see what looks to be massive city that survived in the desert, but other than that a lot of them have taken damage*
<Dias`> *Id drops back down.* There is a massive city in that direction but everything else has been damaged heavily
<DeathStar> *there's signs of cages, big enough to lock someone in, and a few of them have been dragged off*
<Dias`> <Id> I do believe I saw cages hanging in it too. Interesting. This place continues to fascinate me
<DeathStar> <Ren> This is a big world to try to chase a lot of leads and an unfriendly one at that
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We need a clear direction."
<Dias`> <Id> Has Marcus narrowed down a direction?
<XanTop> <Xan> He's still walking around sniffing over there.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If Dias was in a battle here, his scent could eb in multiple places."
<Dias`> <Id> Several scenarios. They ran away and are hiding somewhere. They were attacked and have been killed. They were attacked and captured.
<DeathStar> *Marcus' scent has led him over to what looks to be a massive crater with what appears to be stained blood colored rocks; judging by it, it almost appears that someone smashed large objects against someone else.*
<DeathStar> *After that the scent almost looks to have vanished*
<Seraphna> Angela> Is teh blood his or someone else's?
<Dias`> <Id> While it has the highest chance of risk to us, that city gives us our best lead.
<XanTop> <Marcus> This is where the smell stops.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> No dead body?
<DeathStar> *she kneels*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Perhaps Dias was the oen carried off."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> That would be a new one
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I can group teleport us to the city if that is our destination
<Dias`> <Id> We do not know if they are friendly so we should proceed with caution.

<DeathStar> *Erevis gathers her power*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... then we should be ready. PRobably also find disguises to blend in."
<DeathStar> <Fate> Does anyone have creation power? We could put on desert cloaks
<DeathStar> <Erevis> *warps them outside the city*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around to make sure they are not about to be ambushed*
<Dias`> *Id looks around*
<DeathStar> *The city seems to be almost your typical desert city, but even having some human like people there, with a trading like post to it, but there is ... unusual looking beings if you look aorund, especially at the eyes and who is there. Many of them seem to be here due to who they worship, but has that changed recently?*
<DeathStar> *various things are being traded and sold on the streets - food, water, goods, slaves*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Huh. *she eyes the food being traded and sold here*
<XanTop> 6* Xan glances around, frowning
<DeathStar> <Ren> Not what I was expecting. *As she walks*
<XanTop> <Xan> For some reason I wasn't expecting humans at all.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...and what did you expect?"
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Monsters
<XanTop> <Marcus> Some of these others...I feel weird about them.
<Dias`> <Id> Well, it is not surprising. This is just a..."darker" version of what we consider normal. It's most likely peaceful here because of Nyarl's rule.
<DeathStar> *as they walk along, the group would spot a large desert bandit holding Sparkling with magic spell that she surprisingly can't seem to break, despite beign an ex-maka; there is no sign of Melodie. The magic spell/leash has Sparkling carrying stuff for the bandit as he moves to his horses*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "That assumes that they are actually human, and not merely our minds filling in the blanks."
<Dias`> <Id> You are all nothing but ones and zeros to me anyways.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> We have located one of the party
<Dias`> <Id> Yes it would appear so.
<DeathStar> *Ren crouches*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... how tof ree her without turning the city on us."
<Dias`> <Id> She appears to be something similar to a slave. Buy her.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> What is even the currency?
<Dias`> <Id> Ask what they want for her.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Given this place... probably souls."
<DeathStar> *Cheryl shrugs and moves over to the bandit, who eyes them*
<DeathStar> *The bandit runs his hand through an oiled mustache, wearing what looks to be jewelery, but studying it closely, it appears almost to look like a spirit core*
<XanTop> <Xan> I think I've spotted Melodie too.
<DeathStar> <Bandit> She is very valuable. I will only give "it" up for this. *he holds out a treasure drawing of what looks to be a cursed item - a soul gem*
<DeathStar> *Erevis leans in, whispering* And it will not be easier to just take them?
<DeathStar> *Sparkling looks like she wants to say something, but is unable to*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *whisper* "...tempted to just slaughter him in the streets..."
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Hm hm hm. *she nods*
<DeathStar> *The bandit turns back to packing up his horse - well, Sparkling does*
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Well, that would be the lawful evil thing to do. Did I get my d&D refence right?
<Dias`> <Id> I believe it would be to throat punch him and take them.
<XanTop> <Marcus> If we notice anyone alse taking something by force in the street, we could do the same.
<XanTop> 6* Marcus says quietly.
<DeathStar> *Erevis looks around; it appears people are just making transactions. A few sneaky people do attempt to pickpocket things or haggle when they think they can get away with it*
<DeathStar> *but out right assault, no*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...there are probably powerful guards."
<DeathStar> <Fate> I suppose it would come down if we think we can escape fast enough
<Dias`> <Id> Perhaps you could trade me for both of them.
<Dias`> <Id> Or perhaps Angela could create a sword for them. I've seen her do that.
<XanTop> <Xan> We need to find everyone we can and come up with a plan.
<DeathStar> *Sparkling quietly hands Xanatos a note*

<XanTop> 6* Xan pauses and shifts to the side to read it.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Alernatively... we could get this guesy item for the bandit."
<DeathStar> *it simply says "the moon"*
<XanTop> 6* Xan pauses and hsows the note to Erevis with a confused look upward for a moon.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Hm. I suppose we could look there, but that would also mean losing sight of Sparkling
<XanTop> <Xan> ID, can you mark Sparkling in some way so we can track her.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Short of our splitting the team..."
<Dias`> <Id> ...Hmmm. *He floats over to Xanatos and opens a small compartment, dropping a small tracking device* This should suffice. Hopefully.
<Dias`> <Id> You could also ask where he will be after we retrieve this soul gem. of his
<XanTop> 6* Xan waits for an opening to slip it onto Sparkling

<DeathStar> <Katrina> I've been talking it over and I decided I'd like to go on a long trip and show Junior some of our universe. Since the other kids, Jem, PioPio, JM aren't really interested in taking over, having their own business or are into other stuff these days, I'll turn it over to the Empire to run until one of them wants to it

<DeathStar> <Katrina> I've been slowly pushing her to return to the manor and hang out with her sisters again. But she has a home at the bar if that is what she wants, too.
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods** I'll take care of it, it's part of my legacy too. I'm sure one of the family might have ideas.
<DeathStar> <Katrina> It's been fun, Jaime. It's good to see you grown up. You'll do good, if you remember to stay humble. I hope to read about the great Empress you become during my trips.
<Seraphna> **Jaime blushes just a bit** Thank you. You be careful out there too.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Oh half my girls love to cook, I'm sure we can find someone in the family that wants to do it... maybe Tabetha can convince John to settle down here.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Well that's not good. We'll need a team to go check on her. Best to bring her here for now.

<Seraphna> **Jaime nods, putting a few messages out to agents to move in too** It's a good thing we've kept a watch on her. We should have a few people nearby incognito too.

<Dias`> *Chad walks with John* I believe so.

<DeathStar> *as they round the corner, a house is on fire across from Hess and Kaori's*

<XanTop> 6* Kane pulls out his pistol and moves towards the fire, pulling out his scanner to scan for life.
<Seraphna> **Libbie nods and sends some signals out to get the FD there, then leaps and bounds her way over, moving swiftly**
<DeathStar> *Zephyr emerges from the fire, holding what looks to be a couple, looing a bit burnt*
<Dias`> <Chad> John, let's check in on Kaori.
<DeathStar> *John nods and rushes over*
<Dias`> *Chad moves after John, his hand pulling out his pistol*
<Seraphna> **Libbie lands by her and eyes the couple, arm opening to extend a medical scanner**
<DeathStar> *they appear okay outside some breathing in smoke*
<DeathStar> *John has to kick in the door due to being locked when they hear Wind's voice talking to Kaori*

<Seraphna> Libbie> Smoke inhalation but they'll be fine. Who are these two anyway?

<Dias`> *Chad moves in after the door is kicked in, sweeping his gun then eyes around*

<DeathStar> <Wind> It is never that simple. *John pushes open the door and Wind turns to eye the two, narrowing his eyes* It seems we have company. Think on what I said. *He sinks into the shadows*

<Dias`> <Chad> ....I don't recall him ever disappearing in shadows. *He looks over at Kaori* You ok?
<Seraphna> Libbie> It seems Kaori is still here. Her tag hasn't moved.

<Dias`> *Chad taps his comm* Kane, what did you find?
<Sara> <Kaori> Fine... but I don't think that was Wind.

<Seraphna> Libbie> So... if Venerator didn't take her what did he do...?

<XanTop> <Kane> *c* Zephyre said Venerator went into Kaori and Hess's palce.
<Dias`> <Chad> I see....*He lowers his gun* I think we found our agents from the realms above.

<DeathStar> *Zephyr looks around the house and the area, seeing if she can see anyone*
<DeathStar> <John> Well, good news - they can't take it by force, if they're asking for it
<XanTop> 6* Kane follows Zephyr in

<Sara> *Kaori puffs her cheeks*
<Dias`> <Chad> It also means they need it to finalize their plan most likely. So either they need it to do what they want or it can prevent them from doing what they want. Either way, Kaori needs to be protected
<XanTop> <Kane> Kaori, you okay?
