<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, I’d make a joke about cutting the visible tension but that terrifies me right now.

<DeathStar> <Megumi> I have a bad feeling. *She pushes up her glasses, her ears down a bit* I don't like what I'm seeing
<Dias`> <Id> I'm worried that the longer this takes, the more irrepairable damage will occur.

<DeathStar> <Megumi> I don't think you get it, dear. It's fluxing between two pasts right now. I been going through history files and there's one where I'm seeing a lack of dragoons and weapons mentioned, which has a snowballing affect let me tell you. The other might be equally worse

<Dias`> <Id> But I imagine, the risk is that the more that arrive back there, the easier it will be to break time.

<DeathStar> <Megumi> I'm going - since this involves Erevis. And the other timeline is that there is no Suisen Empire. If that's the case that means the PAX and the buildings out there might be in danger

<DeathStar> <Ben> The Outer Spirits, going by the name Visage - at least assuming they were one and the same - arrived and got into a war with the Alliance in which the Visage won. And with the help of a traitor spirit from our side.

<DeathStar> <Ben> It would also appear that there was no sign of the Alliance remained or our Spirits that we could see. Spirit levels were low and people on the planet used weapons with spirit cores
<Xantop> <Pepper> ...after we helped smooth out things for the mana and spirit spirits all these years later it was for nothing?

<DeathStar> *Avenir peers at Cookie, then at the others* I take it you wish to go to the time period everyone else is?

<Xantop> 6* Xan feels out, wondering if Erevis' connection goes both ways with him.

<Dias`> <Chad> There's nothing I like about this. Odd's are it's heading directly to where Cran and Venerator are.

<Jackieness> <Noire> *shadow portals on to a rooftop up ahead and takes a look form her vantage point*
<DeathStar> *up ahead is the government building that was destroyed last time around; it seems intact now, with Erevis' energy being nearby*

<DeathStar> <Selena> She grabs a little girl and books it toward this building?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *comm* "I cna get on to the rooftop of the building and proceed from there."
<Seraphna> Angela> It’s a good hostage considering.

<Xantop> 6* Marcus sniffs more and frowns, looking around.

<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries to shadow portal on to the roof of the government building*
<DeathStar> *The EarthGov building goes into alert and tons of men come out to beat Noire up -- is what I'd love to say, but this is pre any type of Dragoon tech so no one notices her*
<DeathStar> *As the group catchesu p to Marcus and Noire and the others, they would find that the most security set up are a few normally dressed EarthGov people protecting the building*
<DeathStar> *Oh and cameras*
<DeathStar> <John> I'm tempted to just walk in
<Jackieness> <Noire> *walsk the perimeter of the rooftop, trying to see if she can spot Erevis or a young girl*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Id, mind glitching the camera system?
<Dias`> <Chad> I'll have Id hack and start to take care of security. *Id attempts to force it's way in and make security essentially non-existant*
<DeathStar> *Id's biggest hurtle is the low tech*

<Jackieness> <Noire> *comm* "No sign of them on the uter perimeter. Either they are alreayd inside or they haven't attempted to breach yet."

<Dias`> *Id works it's way in and begins taking over the cameras. It then looks for Erevis while sending messages to security guards to change locations*

<Dias`> <Chad> We should be able to get in soon without any trouble. *He get's out of the vehicle*

<Alicia> * Charlotte peeks inside with shadow portals
<Xantop> <Kane> We'll need to erase any footage they get of this.
<Dias`> <Chad> Id's taking care of that, Kane.

<DeathStar> <Ren> Just that the Intergalactic Highway in the upcoming years I think is going to be a bust hyperspace lane

<DeathStar> <Ren> It's been completed for a bit now and people are going to start transferring businesses over to the Templar side of the galaxy I think

<Jackieness> <Noire> "...I wonder if we communicated with the upper plane that we were able to do what they could not. Hah!"
<DeathStar> <Ren> I do find that Chad guy rather shady. But we haven't yet. We still have the one Taiga that came down. She seems in disbelief
<DeathStar> <Ren> Maybe we should question her more but there's jst been so much chaos she's fallen between the cracks

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... I tempted to go talk to her then."

<DeathStar> *Ren grabs some stuff then heads for the brig area; down there Taiga has been given a nice comfy little area and seems to be reading a book*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Now then, given the drama leading up to your asylum here, I can assume you have no interest in being repatriated to your own plane of existence at this time."

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...that goes without saying." *adjusts her glasses* "So I have been told that you were already briefed that we found a way to kill, what we call, the Beast."
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> That is what I've been told. I hope it's true. It's quite resisisant. I've seen it's regeneration be quite high

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Given that the threat that motivated you, if not your entire reality, has seemingly been dealt with here, and you have made it clear you will be staying for the foreseeable future, what do you intend to do while here?"
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> It was one of the problems, but ... I'm not sure. You have a Taiga here sadly, so making a name for myself here will be harder. Maybe after I'm cleared I'll go another galaxy
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmmm... and do what, exactly?"
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> I'll apply myself to what I can do. I'm an inventor after all
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'm familiar with your counterpart's work. Tell me, do your experiences lead to anything unique?"
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> Unique? What are you looking for?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmmm... I confess... I am the restless sort, so I commissioned our Taiga for a custom ship that integrates uniquely Dark One features. I was actually rather curious if you had some zest to add to the pot... things that might not occur to our Taiga just because her life is different."
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> Well, I don't think she has ever designed a massive city lay and plans to my knowledge

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm... now that is something interesting. Taiga, architect of the galaxy."

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Given all the strife in our galaxy, there is alot of opportunity for rebuilding and expanding."
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> Then maybe I'll find work there. But yes, I design various things
<Jackieness> <Noire> "You could also...mmm... try to collaborate with our Taiga rather than merely avoiding her."
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> *crosses her legs* Oh?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... as I said... you may have ideas that the other had not considered, so it could be good for you."
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> I'll take that into consideration. But something tells me that more than having me teaming up with my counter part brought you down here
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... professionally, we do need to figure out what to do with you." *gestures around* "...I thinm you cna agree that you cna do better than a holding cell."
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> Oh certainly.
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> It's quite boring
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So I've laid out some thoughts. Granted, you could understand if we aren't quite ready to let you wander free quite yet."
<DeathStar> *The Taiga shifts back and then leans forward* So have to prove one self. It makes sense.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... yes. You did contribute to a near panic on our side, afterall. I mean... we strapped Dias to the front of the PAX and had him punch through reality, afterall."
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> Well. I would still be panicked. If I had access to equipment I'd be designing to see if you really destroyed the creature.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm... then I'll talk to some people and see if they are comfortable with giving you an opportunity there."
<DeathStar> *she nods*
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> I'd also be wary of the higher reality's Chad. Make sure he isn't up to anything
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... we don't have an easy means of monitoring his activities."
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> Well, he definitely has Fate locked down for a reason.
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> I didn't want to stick around to have that happen to me
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... indeed. Of course, our own Chad is a paranoid, MAchiavellian sort."
<DeathStar> <H. Taiga> Well, when you want me to begin work, just let me know. I'll work
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods* "I think that is enough for now. Thank you for your time."
<DeathStar> *she nods and picks her book back up*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *rises and heads back out*
<DeathStar> *Ren glances up from her datapad* You ask about the ship?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Opted not to broach the subject quite yet unless I had more of a laurel to offer."
<DeathStar> *Ren nods and walks along back to office* See anything there then?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... I think we can put her to work."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I'll bring it up to Jaime and Jikuu then
<Jackieness> <Noire> "The thing she wants to do is determine if we really did kill the beast."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Oh? Doesn't believe us?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...in disbelief that we did in weeks what they could not in centuries."

<Jackieness> <Noire> "I've also at least planted the idea of collaborating with our Taiga, rather than avoiding."

<DeathStar> <Ren> A twin sister? These days mom's sisters are who knows where. Lorelei has vanished to the Templar/Dark One galaxy. Aunt Aurica helps with the Striker HQ when we need it but mom has had her take time off due to the recent crisises. Ben has been on the Aquarius for years and Bigsby ... well he's a family guy now

<DeathStar> <Ren> I know sometime she regrets not having a better relationship with her clone
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Of course...my motivations are partly selfish."
<DeathStar> <Ren> It's fine. Of course she won't exactly be like Tora. Hm. I wonder whatever happened with the daughter.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm... also this Taiga is concerned that her Chad will become a threat."
<DeathStar> <Ren> You think it's a real threat and not her just blowing hot air?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If our Chad had efefctively eliminated his political rivals then found another reality that he had previously looked down upon had suddenly beaten the boogeyman that had kept him up at night, what would he do?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well, depends on what type of Chad this is
<DeathStar> <Ren> He might consider if we're no longer a problem - leave us alone but keep an eye on us. Doesn't mean their reality might not have him as "leader" now.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "True... this Taiga seems afraid of him, though."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well Chad is dangerous. It probably isn't worth returning. Plus it takes a lot of power to go up there. We'd be risking the PAX again
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmm-hmm... though they clearly had a way down."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hm. Being Chad? Probably
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Then perhaps this Taiga might be able to help us better monitor for such dimensional breaches."
