<DeathStar> *Ako faces Jaime, hands folded in front of her, with Adeline and Athena on either side of her* Alright. Normally I address the Senate as you know, but due to the nature of what we're going to be talking about today, I feel you should be the one to talk. Especially on the topic of Xevil.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> You positive you want to have the Suisen be reaching out to him? The other races might not like it
<Seraphna> Jaime> It’s an olive branch. If we remain silent we’ll just have decades of people preparing for a war we might not even need to have.
<DeathStar> <Ako> Well, Jikuu backs you on this and is in agreement
<DeathStar> *Ako pushes the doors open and steps inside, heading for the Suisen table, setting things up*
<Seraphna> Jaime> **walks in, dressed in an actual Kimono that belonged to Erevis, rather than just the mud clothes she hides underneath**
<DeathStar> *Adeline and Athena joining her as they survey the room. Surprisingly, Lenneth is in the room among a collection of the smaller races, mainly there to listen*
<Dias`> *Loki sits in his respective spot, Shiva next to him, the two talking to each other, but stopping once Ako steps in*

<Seraphna> **Jaime moves to where Ako has set up, looking over the crowd with a warmth to her smile**
<DeathStar> *Athena glances over at Lenneth, then has her hand on her paperwork and files. Adeline seems to be quietly scanning the faces; Ako seems to be more demure and is squirming*
<DeathStar> <Ako> *whisper* If you need any advise, either of you, just ask
<DeathStar> *Stacey leans forward, having attended for the Earth side today surprisingly. Perhaps having caught wind of the change of plan*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I’m sure word has reached most of you that Xevil has remerged in the Pegasus Galaxy and has begun to amass territory. The question of what the Empire will do weighs on us all greatly.
<Dias`> <Loki> As does the response of the Suisen Empire, seeing as things tend to more personal between you and him.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *is seated next to Stacey, given that she is the usual Earth representative*
<Dias`> *an Idlet floats next to Cassandra, observing*
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin is present as the Peacekeeper rep, listening to Jaime.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Given the sacrifice and the destruction the past decades have caused us all, we are not willing to rush into another costly war when our allies and friends are still safely distant from a possible threat. However, we will also not sit and ignore him.
<DeathStar> *Adeline tries to keep her face emotionless, refusing to give away what she wanted to do when she got the news*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "We will have to watch him closely for now."
<Dias`> <Shiva> So your intentions are to just observe him and leave him be?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Our newly established travel to the new Galaxy and our efforts to explore it will continue, with an added priority to observe the rise of Xevil’s new power and to extend diplomatic relations. As far as we can tell at this time those he is taking power over benefit from his rule, to attack would be seen as pointless aggression.
<DeathStar> *Athena begins to write on a piece of paper while the two talk, then holds the paper against her chest, perhaps forseeing something*
<Dias`> *Loki and Shiva look to each other and lean in, whispering something*
<Seraphna> Jaime> That being said we will establish a border with him, a front line of defense should he plan invasion or aggression. And we will continue to build our forces for such a time they may be needed. Supporting you all in that way. But for now we must rebuild, resume commerce and grow.
<DeathStar> *Athena tilts the paper toward Jikuu and Jaime - it reads: The Peacekeepers should do all the observing and making contact if they are against it*
<DeathStar> <Athena> *She adds: they are the Senate's peacekeeping force*
<Seraphna> **Jaime adds** We ask that the Peacekeepers be the tip of this spear.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Agreed."
<DeathStar> *Stacey leans back* That is a large undertaking for them. *She looks at Kellin*
<Dias`> <Loki> Why not just ask to have him meet us now so that we can skip all this chess. The Alliance was put together for this reason, was it not? The Peacekeepers can reach out and get the ball rolling on this. The sooner we start this the quicker we can find out his intentions, no?
<Xanatos> <Kellin> If we're the tip of the spear then that would leave a lot of vulnerability here. Unless everyone is at a state they would rather us not babysit and watch over them?
<Seraphna> Jaime> As I mentioned, diplomatic relations will be attempted.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Alot of the worlds represented here are still recovering from the strife of the past decades."
<DeathStar> <Stacey> Xevil is a cagey one. I somehow doubt he will want to meet with us in this galaxy.
<Dias`> <Shiva> Well, as you know Kellin, not all of the ships we build go to the Peacekeepers. We do keep a fleet behind incase another race decides to attack the other.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I will simply not assume peace will be established, but I trust the Peacekeepers to live up to their name. We will go to him.
<Dias`> <Loki> Then we offer a neutral ground or meet him direct. *He waves his hand* The location doesn't matter, honestly.
<DeathStar> <Stacey> The Templars are joining the Alliance. We could have them set up a meeting too
<Seraphna> Jaime> Correct. We mean to establish a foothold in the other galaxy to at the very least keep in contact with the Templars.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Well whatever the Senate wishes, the Peacekeepers will do all tht we can to provide.
<Dias`> <Loki> They should be apart of it also.
<Seraphna> Jaime> **smiles** I am glad to see we all agree this must be a unified effort.
<DeathStar> <Ako> Well. It looks like we're ... not against the idea of reaching out then.
<DeathStar> *Ako lets out a breath*
<Dias`> <Loki> It is nice to know, that not one member decided to handle this on their own. *He looks at Jaime, matching her smile*
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "We should have further consultations before the initial outreach. Everyone needs to be onboard."
<DeathStar> *Ako lets out a forced grin, figuring if Jaime or Jikuu did that, it would be a disaster*
<Seraphna> Jaime> If anyone has concerns. No matter how small the voice. **she looks at the outliers** Please let us know. The future is Unity, not one voice pushing others.
<Dias`> *Loki looks at Cassandra and nots* Agreed.
<DeathStar> <Stacey> Agreed. Even if Xevil only becomes an ally, it will allow us perhaps to steer his more ... warlike ambitions.

<Dias`> <Id> Based on reports, since his ascension, he's shown less signs of warlike ambitions
<Seraphna> Jaime> We are all in agreement then. The peacekeepers will spearhead this movement with the cooperation of of the galactic senate.

<DeathStar> *over the next ten years, Jaime and Jikuu's progress report would be more ships based on the Flag Ship, more research into the multiverse, and the Suisen slowly growing into the Unknown Territory. There have been no wars, and no real problems. For Earth, things have been a little different; after Stacey retired a new person campigned on her platform and won, but over the years slowly began to go against it, becoming a little hostile toward groups like Cheryl's, but due to Andrea's actions they'll always be protected.
<DeathStar> *Xevil made the peace deal and became an alley, and has done no hostile aggressions, and his empire has grown larger by this time*
<DeathStar> *Ren lets out a breath, arriving at the bridge*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Hello Security Chief Ren.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Uh huh. *she holds up her datapad* I'm just delivering the reports to you. Rumor has it that the Cartel might be in for a shakeup soon
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Well, that is important news."
<Seraphna> Jaime> They are leaning into dice games?
<DeathStar> <Ren> Adeline, if she was here, would be able to dig it out better, but I keep getting reports that Loki will be stepping down sometime soon
<Seraphna> Jaime> I will miss his witty commentary.
<DeathStar> <Ren> I'd question who will replace him

<Seraphna> Jaime> Don’t they sort of pass on a mantle? Like a new Loki? Or is this stepping down from the top seat only?

<DeathStar> <Ren> Well, she's been playing in politics the past few years as well as helping her father. But that's not what it's about. It seems Stacey died sometime last night. She thought you might want to know.
<Seraphna> **Jaime blinks** How? Wasn’t she retired?
<DeathStar> *Ren taps her datapad* Oh, oh yes. And the report claims it's natural causes, but reading between this I don't think Aya believes so.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Well, this means we need even more to look into the replacement..."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Had we known of something ailing her we could have prevented it… perhaps we should invite Aya to meet with us during her funeral.
<DeathStar> <Ren> You want me to prepare us to go to Earth then?
<Seraphna> Jaime> At least one of us should attend. With agents.

<Dias`> *Chad glances from his seat at the channels, a bigger project infront of him*
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Well. I've been roundly rejected from all my military channels and none of them wish us to help. Saying that there is nothing to help with - not even standing guard at a funeral

<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I just find it odd that when Daniel Adams got the job, he was all gung ho for us, then a few years into the term he started treating us like we were a hot potato

<Xanatos> <Kane> Has anything changed with the people he keeps close?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I have no idea. Maybe Aya can tell us, but I don't think she's close to his circle either
<Xanatos> <Kane> A new voice to his ear could easily cause the change in position.
<Dias`> <Chad> I'll do some deeper digging in to him and those around him. See if someone else is leveraging him.

<Xanatos> 6* Kane stands with Lemon and the others. Kellin is there to pay his respects having worked with Stacey in the Senate. Marcus and Cole are also there.

<Seraphna> Jaime> I know humans are supposed to live way longer.
<Dias`> <Chad> I agree, Aya. I've been going over the autopsy reports non-stop.

<Dias`> *Dias peers around, a bit as he sniffs the air*
<DeathStar> *X scans Marcus being without Andrea for once, finding it odd the previous President wouldn't here for this*

<DeathStar> *Daniels begins to address everyone, talking about Stacey like an old friend*
<Dias`> <Chad> And nothing. It all seems legit. *He looks at Adeline*
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *is present at the funeral, wearing a formal kimono*

<Xanatos> <Kane> Some of us are fortunate, others are not. But Stacey worked hard with the time she was given and sacrificed a lot for the people to be able to live normal lives. I will miss her a lot. 6* He notes quietly with a nod.

<DeathStar> *Adeline peers at Jaime, then Daniels; physically he doesn't look that intimdating, an average man, slightly overweight*
<Seraphna> **Jaime looks to her, her outfit forming gloves**
<Dias`> *Dias steps up when Marcus leaves* Stacey was the one main driving force behind my time as President. Without her, I probably would've ended up punching politicians when they didn't listen or behaved. She was irreplacable. Is irreplacable. She will be sorely missed and Earthgov is worse without her helping steer the rudder ever so slightly.
<Seraphna> **A secret agent Thena moves over to inform Daniels that the Empresses would like to meet with him after the ceremony, all whisper like**
<Dias`> *Dias holds his fist out for a moment in fist bump silence then drops it and walks over to X and the others.

<Seraphna> **Jaime moves to follow, her shadow lags a little as she moves**

<Seraphna> Angela> **muses, looking up a picture of Daniels from before he got into office, curious**

<DeathStar> *The pictures look pretty much the same, maybe a bit more in shape now. He doesn't look to have aged a lot like some in office would ruling the world, but then Dias, Cheryl, and Angela didn't either*

<DeathStar> *Cheryl pauses, looking like she's reviewing the conversation* Oh. In addition to the Spade thing, do we have any major problems? I personally don't think he's going to surface right away. It'll be good to strengthen connections and get tools in place for when it happens, but I know we must have other fires too
<Dias`> <Chad> I can't say I have anything pressing that I can't take of on my own. *He muses* I guess the big question is, with Kane stepping down, do we continue his business as Private Contractors?
<Dias`> <Chad> Or do we start our own to keep him distanced?
<Dias`> <Chad> Or we could decide to just focus entirely on Spade and Nyarl down the road and leave Dias and his team to deal with all the problems that crop up.

<DeathStar> <Chii> Hm. I guess it would depend on the method. If it's another reality version, we could use Taiga to try to detect it. If it's a clone or something - which should be nearly impossible, Cheryl's reality change should have changed any trace of Serena from this reality completely. You'd have to make an Angela clone and try to brainwash her into being Serena Cran. Or you could try to go back in time and grab a Serena Cran before the change, but I'd think Angela here would be wiped out
<Dias`> <Chad> Then we'll have someone talk to Taiga to look in to it. We should also warn her to put up defenses incase someone tries to swipe a ride to another reality through her.
<Dias`> <Chad> There is one more option, but I'd rather not burn that card unless we have to.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Yeah?
<Dias`> <Chad> Yeah. *He pulls out his datapad, sending a message to Aya that he'd like to talk to them when the families all available*
<Dias`> <Chad> t seems we at least have some more things to focus on with the Spade thing now. We'll just need to get everyone together to decide how heavy we want to approach this.

<DeathStar> <Aya> Yes. I've been toying with the idea of trying to campaign and become President, see if I can help out everyone prepare. Evette wants to continue what you started with the Weapons and help them. She thinks you might want to jump ahead into the future. I'm not positive you plan to do that
<Dias`> <Chad> I don't. And you both staying makes that much easier to make. *He leans forward now* I already gave up 30 plus years of time with you and my grand kids. I can't do that again.
<DeathStar> *Evette relaxes a bit*

<Dias`> *Chad laughs at that* I'm well past that, princess. That said, I don't know what state I'll be in 70 years, because of that, I do have a plan to buy my some time.

<Dias`> <Chad> Good living and healthy eating. *He winks at her* I plan on doing Cryo Stasis on myself during periods

<Dias`> <Chad> It'll buy me some time, by my estimates, at least an extra 20 years if done right. And you can always pull me out if an emergency happpens. Plus, I might get some good sleep for once. And who knows, maybe something will come up that will extend our life spans more.
<DeathStar> *Aya drums her fingers* Alright. We'll have to monitor you. At your age, even with being a Weapon, there can be complications
<Dias`> <Chad> It's to be expected. And I wouldn't expect anything less from you. *He smiles a bit* That bring us onto a second thing I want to discuss, specifically you bringing up a possible Presidential run.

<Dias`> <Chad> No, of course not. It just means Evette and I need to be far more careful going forward.

<Dias`> <Chad> I'll always burn myself if need be. *He notes for her, his serious tone there* That brings the last thing I want to talk about then that concerns you more now and the rest of our family. Cheryl and I are looking at focusing fully on Spade going forward unless needed.
<DeathStar> *Aya and Evette glance at each other then at him* <Aya> Well. That should probably be done. I can use my Senator connections to help out there and if I do manage to rise up, I can open doors. But from what I remember as a kid and young adult, Spade does not like to be burned.
<Dias`> <Chad> If we go focus hard on him, then that means you'll most likely be targetted.
<Dias`> <Chad> So that means you and the others will need to be prepared.
<DeathStar> <Aya> I'll handle that. I rather have the doors I can open and risk it. But out of all of us, I think he'll go after you first then try to get me or take over my body. First off, while I'm not psionic, I can be resistant and if I want to be a bitch, I can copy a psionic's power and hold onto it for a bit
<Dias`> <Chad> I'll work on some anti-psionic tech and add some protocols for the Weapons. *he nods to Evette*
<DeathStar> <Evette> Yeah that will make him easier to deal with. Also, I think I read there's an anti-psionic weapon that was developed we can base it on. Arakawa's family has it. The matron? Cassandra had it last.
<DeathStar> <Evette> But if she has it it might be massively out of date
<Dias`> <Chad> I've been keeping some ability dampners up to date but re-tuning a strong anti-psionic weapon will be helpful.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Well. *she finishes her drink* I think Spade will be a little surprised if we can make him less useful. Especially with a future sight ability or his jump ability
<Dias`> <Chad> I thik the more we can throw at him the more his future sight won't be able to handle it.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Overwhelm him?
<Dias`> <Chad> Every ability has a limit and a cost if it's pushed to it's limit.
<DeathStar> <Aya> That is true
<Dias`> <Chad> So I figured if we overwhelm him, it'll begin to narrow down his paths he chooses. Maybe we can even force him down a specific path.
<DeathStar> <Evette> That would be impressive
<Dias`> <Chad> But not outside our possibility if we worked on it. *He nods to Evette*
