<Seraphna> Jaime> Mm, one of Aya's powers involves Pheramones, like the Lilin can make. It might be going out of control.
<DeathStar> *Aya opens the door, sees who it is, and lets them inside. Standing inside is Fiona and Evette, looking tired*

<Seraphna> Jaime> Was it? Hmm... then I might be off, or it manifested late.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Welcome into my "home". *Evette and Fiona wave their hands, Aya's adult children*

<DeathStar> *Taiga lets the rest of the club know where they are* <Aya> It seems ever since I fell over the other day, strangers just have begun to "notice" me.

<DeathStar> <Fiona> It looks like they are looking into father's side of the family. Perhaps to discredit him win over mom. Apparently there is some shady stuff on dad's side of the family. Something about art thieves.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... I have mixed feelings about all this."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, yes. If I know my history right. Kind of dellusional of them to think that's going to sway Aya though.
<DeathStar> *Taiga tries to picture Dawn as an international art thief*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I could ask Athena or Jen about it, they'd know him from when he was way more active.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Dawn has always been a little mysterious and could get into places when other's couldn't
<DeathStar> <Aya> Anyway, I'm not sure I like people looking into my family. Do you know what is causing this?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, you fell down the same time a Hex went off on something connected to Chad.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Either the feedback channeled to you because you're of his bloodline, or the spell intentionally targetted you for some reason, that's my base assumption.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Oh great, magical popularity."
<DeathStar> <Evette> So wait. Mom has been voodooed to be popular?
<DeathStar> <Fiona> And why is that?
<Seraphna> Jaime> I feel like I'd pick up if it was pheramones, and I guess since mine aren't working the spell enforces an obsession that can't be easily swayed.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Could be a side effect of the spell, or it could be that the attention was meant to flag down certain people for others to find?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Clearly this spell is designed to bring attention to Aya and her family

<Seraphna> Jaime> I only do Spirit.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *she eyes her datapad*
<Seraphna> Thena> And I only have basic mana use...
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It looks like all our magic users are busy
<DeathStar> <Aya> So I'm stuck being popular? *she jokes*
<Seraphna> Jaime> You haven't happened to copy any powers that could disguise you, do you Aya?

<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** If it's a spell I can't copy it, and I doubt I could copy off another mimic anyway, so there's no way we can cancel the field out with a distraction. Yeah, let's just take her there. I can portal us over.

<Seraphna> Jaime> It seems the Hex that went off hit Aya somehow. She's magically popular now.

<DeathStar> <Ren> It looks like that anyone that catches sight of her is drawn to her. Like a beacon

<Seraphna> Jaime> My assumption is that since you used blood magic, it targetted a certain bloodline.
<DeathStar> *Taiga turns to Nicolette* Aya is Chad Winter's daughter. But the dolls had blood of her in the ashes.

<Seraphna> Si> ...I just had the scariest thought.

<DeathStar> *Taiga brings up the name Aligheri and it looks like "Aya's fans" have dug up links that a famous thief that might be part of the Aligheri family might have stolen stuff over the decades, all the way back to the TAW4 era when Dawn first appeared*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Tell me... has anyone taken any blood, hair, or even fingernail samples from your person?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga shows images of a girly person supposedly stealing art*

<Seraphna> Jaime> Another one? Jennifer, Cuddles and Tamara are both published geneticists.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, this doctor needs to have specifically collected a sample from Aya to even be considered a suspect."

<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "My money is still on a badly made hex with too much unnessisary magic that... kinda exploded when it was unravelled."

<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I have a feeling Ceilidh is only not because she's not been around long enough."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "But this hex was very specific in its target."
<DeathStar> *Aya indeed has what you in the magic world would have feedback magic on her person; probably not only did it hit her, but another target*
<Seraphna> ALita> Not as specific as it looks.
<DeathStar> *who else in the galaxy could be out there and be super popular*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "But... it was on someone who was the same."
<Seraphna> Alita> There's a branching mana flow here... it hit someone else.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... let me guess, her family."
<DeathStar> <Aya> I hope Fiona and Evette are okay..
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "So it might have just reattached to the closest to the same person it found."
<Seraphna> Alita> If I had to guess, Chad Winters was the real target and she got the blowback.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Exactly. If that is the case, she's collateral damage from a spell bound by blood."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "It's getting really hard to be jealous now."
<Seraphna> ALita> Let's see... we could probably dispel this.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "The good news is that if she was not the specific target... it should be much easier to unravel it."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> You think Chad was the real target and it hit Aya by accident?
<Seraphna> **Alita nods** You don't have any scars or marks you'd like to keep do you?
<Seraphna> Alita> My Awaken Spell usually cures anything... and everything.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "If they used a blood sample to target her father, then it could have used the familial blood link to hit her too."
<DeathStar> *Aya looks worried* I'd just would like this over. And make sure the girls are safe. This unnecessary attention is dangerous
<Seraphna> **Alita begins weaving the healing magic, casting her Awakening Spell** (Full Heal + Status Cure ++ )
<DeathStar> *the spell hits the hex on Aya and begins to work it's - well magic*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well... the good news is this will stop the effect from spreading further. I can't guarantee that it won't make everyone already obssessed with you lose interest."
<DeathStar> *but then it's like the hex tries to fight back*
<Alicia> * Charlotte places her hand on Alita's, trying to channel her own energy into the spell to help power it
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Hmmm..." *uses her PAN to try to examine the hex now that itys doing more than passively spreading*
<DeathStar> *it looks like it almost tried to rebound once again and make them all popular*
<DeathStar> *but Charlotte's channeling, who knows what happened then*
<Seraphna> **Alita concentrates, and Talia also jmps in to lend her mistress the power she needs**
<DeathStar> *as Alita and the others try again as Charlotte's power stunts the rebound, they manage to destroy the hex - at least for now. With magic, you never know. Or something.*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Whoever made this one overdid it. It tried to defend itself by hexing everyone in the room."

<Seraphna> Alita> I'm afraid until the spell on Winters is purged I can't guarantee it won't come back, but it is gone for now.
<DeathStar> <Aya> Well, finding dad will be nearly impossible. He's an idiot at the worst times.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I can give you a ward to protect yourself from additional blowback... unless your father does somethign especially stupid in response."
<Seraphna> **Jaime pats her shoulder, having empathy**

<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, it's in keeping with this whole thing where someone is clearly targetting Chad and trying to destroy his life.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> From what I could download, the art in question is on the second floor in the very back corner after you climb the main stairs. There's several cameras throughout the place, and a control room on the first floor. *She marks on the map with various exhibits on the second floor and the first floor, with in the middle of the first floor a huge one*

<Seraphna> Si> I'm pretty sure this is on Taiga's bucket list.
<DeathStar> *Taiga's ears twitch and she flusters* Anyway, I'll see who all I can get to join us; everyone get your energy for tonight

<DeathStar> 6* The group arrives outside a giant museum where they see what looks to be a device floating around it, to protect the building. Bonnie is there, taking the place of Chelsea
<DeathStar> *Bonnie has Chelsea's tools slung over her shoulder and wears goggles, trying to look like a cat thief - despite being there to bust one*
<DeathStar> *Taiga has also brought along a strange super hero in a cape*
<Seraphna> **Si is also there, in her super hero outfit, unless that's her. Either way, Super Hero.**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, so a heist? How... scandalous. I could scarcely believe when I read your message."
<MobileAri> * Nicolette is dressed regularly, and looks at the others with some confusion
<Seraphna> **Thena is in orbit, aboard her Pirate Ship**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I-It's not us doing the heist. Well, not really. There's a chance some people we know are doing it. So we have to get into the place and stake it out
<DeathStar> *Taiga is dressed all in black, but otherwise in her normal clothing*
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "So, we just wait for them to turn up?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> *adjusts her glasses* "...why did't you tell me this was a costume party? Look at the lot of you."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "I'm kinda confused about our whole plan here."
<DeathStar> *Taiga nods* <Taiga> Hey, wearing black is not a costume party. *she turns to the others* The plan is this. *she kneels*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We're on a stakeout to see if the art thieves are going to arrive.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *pointing at the layout* They'll be going for the art collection in this corner *Taps the second floor corner*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "You would have been better off wearing midnight blue."
<DeathStar> <Bonnie> Oh. I thought you wanted Bonnie to steal the diamonds in the middle of the museum
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "That's for a night sky. It's dark grey for inside."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... see? I wasn't the only one who thought the message meant we were running the heist."
<DeathStar> *Taiga twitches* Fine. You can pocket something from the gift shop as a momento
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, still we are outside now. And my point sitll stands."
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "We're supposed to be heroes, we're not supposed to steal things ourselves!"
<DeathStar> *while they are talking, Taiga's datapad beeps*
<DeathStar> *alerting to her that someone is on the roof of the museum across the street*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ah, I take it the guest of honor has arrived?"
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "We shouldn't be out in the open like this then, if we're planning to catch them in the act."
<DeathStar> *a shadowy figure creeps along the roof, wearing something to avoid setting off the alarms inside the museum as they move to the skylight*
<DeathStar> *Taiga holds up binoculars* Seems like it
<DeathStar> <Taiga> What do you suggest, Lunar?
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "We either go inside, or follow them."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "We'd probably set off the alarms trying to go inside first."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "Thieves working after dark... this is a new one for me."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Isn't that normal?"
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "Well, it's easier to get close to things during the day..."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "It's also easier to be seen."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Most art heists are in broad daylight and rather brazen."
<DeathStar> *the target seems to cut a hole in the light and goes into the museum* <Taiga> Looks like they are inside. Remember to becareful inside.
<Alicia> * Lunar Girl goes to follow them
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Maybe a collector rather than someone looking to make a buck."
<DeathStar> *as they reach the roof, they would see the lights are dim inside - just enough for the guards inside to move around and check the exhibits*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Two option... go inside and hunt... or wait here at the obvious exit point."
<DeathStar> *the figure has lowered themselves down to the second floor and is currently avoiding the cameras and is doing something to show the alarm lasers - sprawing somethings*
<DeathStar> *spraying something*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "...why don't we just call security and tell them there's someone stealing their stuff right now?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Think that'll work?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "That's boring." <Lunar Girl> "That's not how a hero operates!"
<DeathStar> *Taiga reaches for her datapad then eyes the two*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "...that's..." *shakes her head* "How heroic is it to put other people at risk, just because you want to look good?"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Yeah, tell them though."
<DeathStar> <Voice> I'm glad you think that. *a blonde petite figure throws a punch at them on the roof, reaching for her belt and trying to spray them with some gas in the face to blind them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "But it would be amusing to see them tackled by some rent-a-cop..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Heads up
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "What, I'm trying to deal with-" *ducks away from the gas*
<DeathStar> *it seems this is the partner - apparently having been on the look out*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *dials and tries to tune out the commotion; keeping an eye as the thief does something down below around the paintings*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *swipes the gas with a slash of her dark sword* "How... basic."
<MobileAri> * Nicolette flings a bolt of wind energy towards the gas, to blow it safely off the roof
<DeathStar> <Partner> ... Well. Oky
<Alicia> * Charlotte tries to grab the partner with a tendril
<Jackieness> <Noire> "While it would amuse me to punish you... perhaps we should explain the situation and potential for scandal?"
<DeathStar> *the partner fires a trick gun, non-lethal, at a pie and tirck shots the tendril, blowing it an angle to wrap Ren up*
<Seraphna> **Si watches for the moment, cape billowing**
<DeathStar> <Partner> I'd rather not fight you. I just need a little time to. *taiga hangs up* <Taiga> Done. *At that moment, the person who went inside comes up, empty handed, even as activity in the museum starts up*
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "To what?"
<DeathStar> *a male's voice, soft spoken - no doubt Dawn* Let's go. We're done here.
<Seraphna> **Si pats her foot, like she's getting ready for something**
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "... can I even do anything here? It's not like they've taken anything..."
<DeathStar> *Taiga frowns, wondering what Dawn did in there*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Breaking and entering."
<MobileAri> * Nicolette pulls a card from her deck, and attempts to use it's power to tie up the two thieves.
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "I guess.. but we thwarted their plans at least!"
<DeathStar> *the girl aims her gun to try to trick shot at the her way free, but it's magic and is tied up*
<DeathStar> <Girl> ...hm
<DeathStar> *she seems to be calculating something*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Oh, but enough..." *slithers her own tendrils along the rooftop to try to ensnare the partner* "...this is startign to bore me..."
<DeathStar> *Ren meanwhile wiggles, still tied up herself*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "Stealing money is one thing, but to try to rob culture... that's low."
<DeathStar> <Dawn?> But I have nothing up my sleeves, like you
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I wonder if they were setting up to rob the place later
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "So, what did you leave behind?"
<DeathStar> *below it looks like the guards are scouring the place, perhaps moving to come up here soon*

<Alicia> * Charlotte seems a little distracted somehow, pulling Ren close to her
<DeathStar> *Dawn drops a pellet from his foot and stomps on it, causing a smoke cloud and pushes his partner off the roof, then moves to run off himself, right as the museum guards get up on the roof*

<DeathStar> *Taiga winces at the shouts from them, likely thinking it is then. Bonnie hisses, adjusting her goggles*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm..." *moves toward the edge of the roof and then leaps off herself after them*
<DeathStar> *Noire would hear a gun shot ring after her*
<DeathStar> *Even as she finds Dawn? untangling himself from the tentacle*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Got a trick, Nico?
<Alicia> * Lunar Girl rushes after the sound of the people jumping
<Jackieness> <Noire> "shhh... shhh..." *slithers more tentacles around Dawn*
<DeathStar> *the guards curse, not sure if they want to shoot at a super hero - who then lands right on Dawn's head*
<DeathStar> *Bonnie leans over the edge, even as she is cuffed with Taiga and Si*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "I'm a little short on ideas... too used to things that are trying to kill me these days." *shakes her head* "Crowds can be rough."
<DeathStar> *Nicolette is led, since she looks 17, by the arm into the museum, along with Charlotte*
<DeathStar> *and they are all set down on a bench*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette doesn't resist. She's trying to work with the officials.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries lowering herself, Dawn?, and Lunar to the ground*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "They got away, but they didn't get anything."
<DeathStar> *Taiga does as well, having them reach into her black outfit for her credientals. Soon, since they didn't run, they are all freed*
<DeathStar> *Noire would find Dawn is KOed and bleeding a bit on the head. I mean, Lunar did jump on him*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, I hope you didn't break this one."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, lets check this place out and find out what he was up to
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "I'm sure he'll be fine." *looks embarrassed at the accidental KO*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So where are the others? Spending the night in the pokey?"
<Seraphna> Si> Yeah... I'd have charged in but this place is too nice for collatoral damage.
<DeathStar> *the others seem to be still inside the museum, having been allowed to continue their investigation, while Noire and Lunar Girl are just outside it*

<DeathStar> *Taiga examines the paintings and the area around it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And taking the tour, no doubt." *pulls out her mobile and calls Taiga*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette idly shuffles her deck, and attempts to divine the purpose of the items they used.
<DeathStar> *Taiga answers* Oh hey. You all are still fugitives. *she jokes*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Really? Should we escape with the thief then? We hve them right here."
<Alicia> <Lunar Girl> "Did you see where the accomplice went?"
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "Oh, can you interrogate him? Would make this simpler."

<DeathStar> *Nicolette would notice that the art thief set up something - a timer to go off during the busy part of the day. It looks like these are all forgeries, being passed off as the real thing, and the device would have revealed it at the worst time*
<DeathStar> *and maybe grabbed some art on the side*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Ohhh... sneaky."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "...hrm."
<DeathStar> *the police arrive and help bring Lunar Girl and Noire in, unmasking - Dawn*
<DeathStar> *which means the partner might have been Fiona or Evette*
<DeathStar> <Police Officer> Thank you for your hard work. We'll give you a little reward later. *he takes their names as he goes to drag the unconscious Dawn*
<DeathStar> <Ren> So ... should we pursue the partner?
<DeathStar> *she asks the group*
<Seraphna> Si> *whispers to Taiga* Didn't we not want them exposed?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Might be hard to find them now."

<DeathStar> <Taiga> It looks like that the Alighiheris, outside what Chad might have given them on the side and Aya makes, might be a little on the low side of cash. I mean they're not hurting for money or anything, they're comfortableish. But compared to 5 years ago, they've lost a lot of money
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So I guess Dawn decided to do this little art expose thing and make some stuff on the side maybe. I just wonder what Aya will do when she learns
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... Rei is going to be disappointed."
