<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Hey, don't think you can just drop that bombshell then just leave it at that! Details!"

<DeathStar> *Shion pushes her food cart inside*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... I was thinking of the virus, but..."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Oh you know, Hunter stole a bunch of stuff from the Cartel, made a new Dragoon Virus. We got Jennifer and the other doctor types to make a cure.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "The virus..."
<Seraphna> Si> Fuuuu. Momma crushed the Hunter.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yeah. We might have a few depowered Dragoons
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How many of these guys are left? Seriously?!"

<DeathStar> *Taiga leans back* Well, there were 30 Hunters
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "So who's keeping the count?"
<Seraphna> **Si leans up a bit against Taiga** Dunno. We don't even know how many guys like that Leon guy killed.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It is believed that 10 was assigned to the Erusians to cause chaos and 10 assigned to the Tsivrixsh. And 10 assigned to other jobs.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Rrr...
<DeathStar> *Taiga glances at a sheet* 6 were killed doing the Erusian caper of stealing their ships, leaving 4 of the 10 in that category
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We haven't gone near the Tsivrivsh but we assume the Tsivrixsh leader has been copied due to how odd the Emperor has become
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Due to the fact Kyuun used to be an ally of the Suisen Empire and is now apparently causing trouble
<DeathStar> <Ren> And the Tsivrixsh apparently love it
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Yay... violent meatheads love causing trouble... wooo..." *sarcastically*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And of the 10 assigned to odd jobs, 2 dead and 2 captured.

<DeathStar> <Ren> More interesting than shapeshifters?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> They're technically cliche at this point.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, 2 and a half really.
<Alicia> * Michiru steps inside, almost sneaking in
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *she sets the first down* There is rumors of one of the Cartel's resorts being haunted by something. There is a space race with a prize that claims to be a relic of Spirit related properties. And the third is reports of a Spirit in Cartel lands. Who can do Spirity things. *she shows an image of the spirit relic that is being put up for the prize, and it looks like a rod*

<Seraphna> Jaime> A-And another spirit. Damn that splits me.
<Seraphna> Thena> We got lots of good ships to win race! Tiger Ship and Heaven's Awesome Sexy Ship!
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They claim it can mimic Spirit abilities. Maybe it's like those Relics some of you have. *referring to some of the Geyze people having Relics - which I need to update the bios to reflect*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> *brings up the planet* It's some planet near the Dark One lines they've been carving out. So a Cartel planet near the Erusian/Suisen borders

<Seraphna> Jaime> So... yeah, the point about the race being one we can miss out on is a good one.

<DeathStar> 6* The team, later on the Aquarius, is in Cartel space. Yuki leans back*
<DeathStar> *as they arrive at the planet, they would see what looks like to be space course set up with beacons and cameras all over*
<Seraphna> Cookie> Oooohhh yeah. Mirei's gonna show she's the faaaasest! **sing songy**
<DeathStar> *Yuki glances at the rules as they arrive* We might not be allowed to use the Aquarius
<Seraphna> Cookie> Blasphemy!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "That goes without saying. This si a full on cruiser."
<Seraphna> Thena> So we need cool smaller craft, possibly a super sexy one?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Exactly."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I'll ask mom for one."
<Seraphna> Thena> Good thing I had Heaven transfer to the Hangar!
<DeathStar> <Yuki> It looks like that a certain type of craft is allowed that meets the race's qualifications.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well... multiple entries might be a good idea. More chances to win.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Oh and there's an entrance fee
<Seraphna> Jaime> And it's the two rich girls looking to enter.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What type of racing craft is allowable?"
<DeathStar> *up ahead is a giant space dock and the Aquarius lands*
<Sara> * Yurica flops on her mother
<Seraphna> Cookie> Dunno, Yuki is being mysterious.
<DeathStar> *Yuki brings up the size of the craft - it looks like they allow modified shuttles up to various smaller crafts designed for speed. They also allow one man vessels that are just are small enough for the person themself*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Oh, when you said race, I didn't think it was this literal."
<Alicia> <Michiru> "What did you think it was?"
<Seraphna> Thena> Whew! Should do!

<Seraphna> Jaime> Are the Aquarius' shuttles good?
<DeathStar> *she sulks as Yuki pulls Yurica into her*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Another 'find and claim the artifact before bad people do'."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> We might need to do some modifications but yes
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How much time do we have?"
<DeathStar> *Nicolette would see some Maka out there with race numbers, since Maka can fly in space*
<DeathStar> <Ren> That's cheating. Right? Is that cheating?

<Seraphna> Kaelan> She could probably cream all of these kids.
<DeathStar> *Yuki looks* We have a bit of time.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Shuttle modifications are cheating?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> No, that Maka can fly in space and be qualified
<Seraphna> Kaelan> ...I suddenly deeply miss Shippy.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan pouts**
<DeathStar> <Yuki> *to Noire* So should I modify a shuttle for you all? How many?
<Alicia> <Michiru> "We should've brought Sparkling."
<Seraphna> Thena> Does the Love Ship fit the rules?

<DeathStar> *Mireille seems to be trying to look and see if she can shrink the Aquarius*

<DeathStar> *over the next hour, Yuki has however number of shuttles they want for racing, ignoring the Love Ship question out of ear*

<DeathStar> <Yuki> *and gives them their numbers*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *nods* Alright your shuttles are ready
<Seraphna> **Thena huffs and looks at Heaven** She fears your awesomeness.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> A famous person who didn't want to get in the ship

<Seraphna> **Thena gets in one, as does Kaelan, who is a pretty proven pilot herself, and Jaime also gets herself in one.**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *shrugs* "Couldn't have been that famous..."
<Seraphna> Thena> Heaven ship best ship.
<Alicia> * Charlotte gets in her own shuttle
<DeathStar> *Yuki links into those who are racing* Apparently this race, you're allowed to do anything shady to win - you're to reach point B on this map. *she sends the data to their shuttles, showing the course from the starbase, through space, through some asteroids, past various obstacles, all the way to the end of the course*
<DeathStar> *Ren gets in with Charlotte. Apparently there is a Red Ship there as well*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> First person there wins the prize, second prize is a year vacation on Jarivan, and third prize is some sponsorship with the Cartel
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'll let you have fun while I stay on the sidelines for this one."
<Alicia> <CHarlotte> "What a surprise, I don't care about the second and third places."
<DeathStar> *Ren awwws at Charlotte not caring about prize 2*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, if I don't win, I guess it can't be helped..."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Okay... so don't get second place as that's the biggest waste.
<DeathStar> *Yuki and Taiga return to the Aquarius to monitor the race and keep track of it, while the racers get to the starting line. There's various other races - the Red Ship, the Maka, a black ship, a one man ship, and various other ones*
<DeathStar> *a countdown begins* <Mireille> I could have won this in a second
<Ariel> * Nicolette is a little sad that there are no space dragons, because that'd be cool to see race
<DeathStar> *she notes, all sulky like*
<Seraphna> Cookie> We'll make you a shuttle that you can use.
<DeathStar> *Taiga does seem to be wondering why none of them went dragoon*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Be wary about third place though... you'll ign over yoru souls and first born out of that deal."

<DeathStar> <Taiga> We haven't practiced enough. *she notes*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Someone ahs to monitor the race in the event that someone tries to abscond with the prize."

<Seraphna> **Kaelan flies with a practiced skill, optimizing her route like Gem taught her to**
<DeathStar> *the Maka zooms off and the Black Cruiser takes off ahead*
<DeathStar> *The Red Ship uses Red Technology to go on*
<Alicia> * Charlotte jets off with a practiced skill. Almost like the Red Empire has pirates.
<DeathStar> *Ren cheers Charlotte from behind*
<Seraphna> **Thena rockets out, appearing to be fueling her ship with her own power, because she's a cheat**
<Seraphna> **Jaime flies along, very Xanatos style, minus the crashing**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I can tell if Thena became Empress, she'll be a cheating one
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Would actually be an advantage in soem circles..."
<Seraphna> Si> Some people play dirty if it'll get them what they want. And her tactics did save Ben and your Momma.
<DeathStar> *at first the race is kind of going smoothly, with Thena in the lead. The Maka is using their magik to try to catch up, the Black Cruiser and Red Ship hanging back, and the other players at their various positions*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well, seems to be going smoothly. They're coming up at the first obstacle, the asteroids
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How long can Thena sustain her power?"
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I kinda want to cheer for the Maka, but..."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Good question
<Alicia> * Charlotte seems to be using Red Technology on her own shuttle, pushing herself to try to catch up with Thena
<Seraphna> Si> She's got a load of energy, that's how she keeps up those clones... but I think she probably uses short bursts to not drain too fast.
<Seraphna> Si> If we were going I'd use SUPER FLAMES!
<DeathStar> *The Maka watches Charlotte pass her to catch up to her nemesis; Thena reaches the asteroids and Charlotte comes up slowly. The asteroids then suddenly go after the person in the lead, trying to crush them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If the Maka were to win, perhaps you could negotiate a trade for the prize."
<DeathStar> *actively hunting Thena like homing missiles*
<Seraphna> **Thena cuts short and pulls back to let Charlotte take the lead**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So is that obstacle a trap set by a racer or is it part of the official course?"
<Alicia> * Charlotte takes the lead, despite the added risk, using her powers to predict the asteroids movements and avoid them
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Listening to the course people, trap
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Course trap
<DeathStar> *she turns the radio on and the Cartel are talking about how the person in lead will fall into the asteroid trap*
<Seraphna> **Thena pulls behind her and lets Charlotte scope the path through for her**
<DeathStar> *Charlotte, with her powers, has a smaller OG now*
<DeathStar> *Prepare yourself*
<Seraphna> **Jaime keeps piloting along, humming**
<DeathStar> Up, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right, Down, Down, Up, Left, Down

<DeathStar> *As they continue through the asteroid field, 3/4ths through it, the homing missles continue to track the two*
<DeathStar> *meanwhile the Maka arrives at the asteroid and pauses as it comes after her. She bows to the other racers, apologetically, and uses her magik to gather them and throws it at the racer ships. The Black Cruiser is whapped and the Red Cruiser is clapped. Jaime has rocks coming at her*
<Seraphna> **Thena closes her eyes and small crystal shards appear behind them like missle flack**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So how much rule-bending is allowed?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime closes her eyes a moment and moves her ship out of the way as it comes, flying on**
<Seraphna> Si> A lot of these races, half the excitement is the cheating.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> You can take the other racer out of the race as long as you do not kill them
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...but how much can we... on the side-lines, get away with?"
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Oh if we interfere
<DeathStar> <Yuki> and it is traced back to the others, they'd be disqualified
<Seraphna> Si> Don't get caught, basically, or they'll take our racers out.
<DeathStar> *the Maka manages to stop a few of the racers and zooms to catch up to Jaime. Charlotte and Thena leave the asteroid field. The Black Cruiser and Red Cruiser deal with it now, the Black Cruiser soon taken out due to damage*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well, two of our races have gotten out of the asteroid field and are approaching the next trap
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...right... I was just wondeirng because we could scramble those missles... unless we pit-crew call Charlotte's shuttle and tell Ren a frequency to scramble their tracking that our computers come up with?
<Seraphna> **Kaelan weaves her way through the asteroids, while Jaime appears to be using some Spade sense to dodge**
<DeathStar> <Yuki> That might be detected
<DeathStar> *the Maka flies up and flies pst Kaelan's ship then Jaime's*
<DeathStar> *their ship wobbles, but nothing happens, getting good rolls; it is clear she tried magik on them to try to stop them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...worth a thought."
<Seraphna> **A tendril spanks the naughty Maka**
<DeathStar> *The Maka tumbles in space*
<Seraphna> **Jaime keeps going on like old reliable while Kaelan flies on**
<DeathStar> *meanwhile Charlotte and Thena, in the lead approach what looks to be debris in space*
<DeathStar> *The Maka recatches up to Kaelan and lands on top of her shuttle, tenses and springs off and lands on Jaime's shuttle somehow - not getting a great leap and lands on Jaime's and leaps off her's and flies on*
<Alicia> * Charlotte scans the debris as she approaches
<Seraphna> **Thena keeps pace to let Charlotte go first**
<DeathStar> *there's stuff hidden in it but also if one flies too fast it might damage the shuttle if they are not careful in weaving through it; meaning one has to dodge the debris and becareful of what is hidden inside it*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan course corrects on the Maka's wake and that tendril instead of getting another spank in instead weaves into the Maka's costume like a thread of evil**
<Seraphna> **Jaime boosts once in open space**
<DeathStar> *the maka turns and attacks the thread*
<DeathStar> *leaving a magik bomb for Kaelan to run into and zooms onward*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "..did Kaelan actually attempt a tentacle molestation attack?"
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I think so and I think the Maka tried to blow her up
<Seraphna> **Kaelan muses, then weaves around the bomb and sets her shields to the rear, setting it off to give her shuttle a boost**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It would have disqualified her if Kaelan blew up
<Seraphna> Si> Plus that's kinda evil.
<DeathStar> *the bomb sends Kaelan ahead; it looks like it was only strong enough to cripple the ship so it only catches Kaelan up to the Maka and Jaime, who reach the debris field and the others*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I know this is rules light, but..."
<Seraphna> Si> Though I think the thread Kaelan made was for something other than molestation, she got into the fabric.
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I think the Maka stopped the attack before she got into the outfit
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Good, because I would give her an ear chewing if she were to promote that sort of negative stererotype!"
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I hope at least
<Seraphna> Si> Maybe trying one of your shadow port tricks?
<Alicia> <Michiru> "You really do set a good example."
<DeathStar> *The Maka just weaves through the debris, passing Charlotte and the others*
<DeathStar> *since there's been no lines about trying to get through it*
<Alicia> * Charlotte pushes through, emboldened by the Maka trying to pass her (and apparently succeeding)
<Seraphna> **Jaime speeds through, using her Adeline Copy again, this time burning the future sight to pass through**
<Seraphna> **Kalean uses the others paths to calculate her own and follows them for now**
<Seraphna> Cookie> Hey... that's my trick!
<Seraphna> **Thena does as Kaelan does and lets the others mark a route for her**
<DeathStar> *The Maka is able to avoid the debris big enough for the ships, but does draw the aggro of the hidden things inside the debris as explosions go off, sending off debris flying at her; deadly enough to hit the Maka, her shield the only thing saving the tiny figure*
<Seraphna> *Thena powers throug but it's Kaelan that oddly stops to check on her**
<Alicia> * Charlotte struggles to maintain her lead on Thena
<DeathStar> (One second to see who's been using powers)
<DeathStar> *As everyone begins to enter, the debris would make it hard to navigate and the traps. Even with the Maka clearing the path, Charlotte following closely after the Maka, etc. etc, prepare for an OG with the debris and explosing OG.*

<DeathStar> *The Maka lands onto Kaelan's ship to rest, looking a bit worse for wear as they all get out of trap 2 and and approach the finish line, Charlotte and Thena in the lead*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Well it seems all our races are almost there
<DeathStar> <Yuki> It's just a pure speed thing now
<Alicia> * Charlotte takes a deep breath, then grins. Her shuttle starts to glow slightly as it nears the finish line, suddenly accelerating to beyond the normal top speed, being three times faster than a regular shuttle. Or at least, twice.
<Seraphna> **Thena begins to use her powers to boost again, Kaelan moves along but actually lets the Maka rest while Jaime powers along at her usual pace, probably thinking there might be a third trap close to the finish.**
