<Ariel> * Nicolette nods slowly
<DeathStar> *Taiga turns to face them* Well. Even if the galaxy is going to go crazy, we can at least do what the club set out to do in the first place
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Do the jobs that fall between the cracks and have fun doing it
<DeathStar> *Ren enters the club and takes a seat*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Though, anything involving meth gators deserves to fall through the cracks."
<DeathStar> *then hus on Charlotte, yawning as she eats on some food*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *eyes the gators being on the top of list*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yeah that still needs to be done, huh?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *steps into the club*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well we'll save that for when Angela is around since she keeps writing that down
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I mean, that should probably be dealt with by animal control."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "She is insane." *moves to a chair and sits down*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Wouldn't gators on drugs be hard to deal with though?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It's just...you know, standard Earth drugs

<DeathStar> *Taiga waves her hand*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I thought it was Thena who wrote it down... and what if the Earth drugs make them powerful?"
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I mean, they actually have training for that sort of thing. Do any of us even know how to capture a gator?"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I'm sure we could handle it... but no."

<DeathStar> <Taiga> I thought I'd check in on all of you. How has everyone been doing?

<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Pretty well... but I'm thinking I should give Ren a gift."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I mean... um..." She smiles, "Doing good."

<Alicia> * Charlotte hands over the ring. "Also I'll buy you a meal when we're done."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> *perks* "New magic?"
<DeathStar> *Ren tilts head at Charlotte and blinks at the ring, flustering*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Ah, um?
<DeathStar> *her right ear twitches like Taiga's*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmmm..." *glances at the exchange of the ring and then stretches* "There are better settings than beneath the eyes of meth gators."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, if you want it~"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I know, but I don't want to wait too long."
<DeathStar> *Ren puts it on* I-I do
<DeathStar> *Sabrina nods* I been learning to juggle better!
<DeathStar> *Sabrina brings out the balls and juggles a bit longer, but ends up somehow landing all the balls on her head, Ren's head, and Noire's*

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "That is certainly mysterious~."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *just looks at Sabrina*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> S-Sorry. *Chases the balls around the room as they bounce all over the place*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *Beams at Charlotte and Ren* I'm glad everyone is doing well
<DeathStar> *Taiga looks down at the cases* Alright lets do a few cases on Earth
<DeathStar> *Taiga stands up and waves for them to follow her* Come along
<DeathStar> *Ren hops up, looking all doey eyed as she comes along and Sabrina hurries, making the balls vanish*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *stands and follows after Taiga*
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Mega City
<DeathStar> 6* As they arrive on Earth, they oddly are assigned cases to help out around the city. As they arrive, Taiga begins to have them help out around the neighborhood, where there appears to be no big crisis going on. Currently, there's a cat stuck up a tree and a little girl crying
<DeathStar> *and an old man seems to be trying to looking for the address of some place nearby, his datapad giving him faulty directions*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Ah, uh... *shakes the datapad*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...this is just busywork."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> You don't like doing this?
<Ariel> * Nicolette helps the cat with wind magic, because that seems the safest way to handle it. She finds the small things rather relaxing, after what they've had to deal with lately
<DeathStar> *the girl thanks Nicolette, beaming happily and walks off with the cat*
<DeathStar> *Sabrina finally figures out where the man wants to go - down the street to an apartment building*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Sometimes helping people and seeing them happy is just nice.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Yet its not our usual mission profile."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *Scratches her cheek* True. *as they walk along they near a water park in the background*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Ah, here we are.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "It's a nice change of pace."
<DeathStar> *a mugger runs by and steals an old lady's purse who is trying to pay to get her grandkids into the water park*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> How brasen
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ah...." *lashes out with tendrils to try to stop the mugger*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "...this is starting to remind me of home, and not in a good way."
<Alicia> * Michiru runs to try to catch the mugger, almost resembling Lunar Girl, even with being pre-empted by Noire
<DeathStar> *the mugger is taken down and Taiga informs the police* Anyway, the water park here.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Yes?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> There has been cases of some mysterious disappearances and it has been shut down and investigated, but always reopened. And even rumors of murder and ghosts. It has quite the reputation. Lets close this one out. And maybe if we have time we'll look into the gators.
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> And help more people. <Taiga> Yes, that would be nice
<DeathStar> *Taiga hands everyone enough credits to get inside*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How long have the disappearances been going on?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They date back off and on over a period of 15 years, hence earning the reputation of a ghost. But they been spaced out enough not to raise too much of a fuss.
<DeathStar> *as they enter the water park, they would see a corny mascot of a gator in water towering over them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...i'll humor it... how far back do the meth gators go?"
<DeathStar> *and all sorts of people, ranging from children to adults moving all over the park; it looks to be a decent sized park, with parts of it looking rather new and parts of it looking old, dating back a few decades judging by the rides*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Huh? *looks at the articles*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "There mascot is a gator. A gator."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Oh. Back when Earth used to use the original dating system
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Any common aspects to these disappearances?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga eyes the information*
<DeathStar> <Ren> You're thinking gators got into a water park and ate people?
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "......"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'm not dismissing it since things are too weird here."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I mean, yeah, they will eat people. But. *she brings up the map of the area*
<Alicia> * Charlotte looks it over

<DeathStar> <Taiga> The gator would have to get into the park's own man made rivers. (think Disney stuff). The only true river is pretty far away
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So unless a gator traveled a distance away and got into it, I think we're safe
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I wouldn't think gators would like park water... they put cleaners in it, right?"
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> I think so
<DeathStar> *as they walk along, a gator mascot walks by them*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Anyway lets just check the park out. We'll keep an eye out for gators just t obe safe.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Anywya... where have the disapeparances occurred?"
<Alicia> <Michiru> "Right. Even though Thena is Thena, we should check it out fully."
<DeathStar> <Ren> *she eyes the newer park with all the latest stuff* <Taiga> The older parts of the Park. The newer part of the park has cameras and stuff but the older part of the park is not as well watched
<Chaintan> <Kitty>...why is it we always start on gators when I arrive?

<DeathStar> *drawing eyes from the water park people*
<Alicia> <Michiru> "Because Thena is Thena."
<DeathStar> *Taiga lands, in fox form, on Nicolette's head*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "The mascot of this venue is the gator."

<DeathStar> <Ren> Hi Kitty!
<DeathStar> *munches on some corndogs she bought from a vendor*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "So... do we look for the creepiest, most run down, part of the park?"
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty tosses back hair
<Chaintan> <Kitty> Hi Ren
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Yes, let's go explore the oldest section."
<DeathStar> *Taiga hops off and goes back to normal.* Yeah, lets go. *she leads them to the older part of the park. It has a olden time feel, with wooden structures. The rides look wilder as the water rides seem to go faster and shake people, splashing people below. Taiga somehow gets drenched*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... *her ears flatten, tails shaking water off*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Oh, bad spot to be standing
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Funny how only Taiga was splashed."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... *eyes Noire as another ride goes by and water flies down below*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *points at Noire as it comes*
<Chaintan> <Kitty> in fairness, she did step into...6 adjusts sunglasses* 1 the splashzone
<DeathStar> <Ren> *does a noise, wearing a ring*
<DeathStar> *and looking all happy*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> *stays dry, as if the water seems to be avoiding her* "Wow... I hope people aren't getting hurt on these."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *takes a step back and lets Taiga take the full splash damage again*
<DeathStar> *they soon reach the first ride to be built, a towering ride they is next to their man-made river and overlooks a forest; the ride seems to have lots of twists and turns, and goes through tunnels. Taiga, thoroughly, eyes this ride as it seems overly complicated with all the paths it takes, right next to the forest, practically going by the tree line, and next the river*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> This is the end of the park. People go missing around here
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty looks for any grates or gutters
<Alicia> * Charlotte does likewise
<DeathStar> *they would indeed find them in places for the water to enter*
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty moves over to lift the grate
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Hmmmmm... and then there is this line of dense foliage here."
<Alicia> * Michiru checks the foliage
<DeathStar> *the grate lifts off; inside seems to be a normal drainage area - or is it? As Michiru enters the foliage, she sees movement in the forest. But it is just a forest - or is it?*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *checks the ride out with Ren*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *to Nicolette* What should I do?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Are we going to be splitting up then?"
<Alicia> <Michiru> "I'm not sure. Something's moving in the forest, but that's probably normal."
<DeathStar> *Taiga to Noire* Just call out if you see anything. I'm just checking around the corner.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Searching the forest seems to be a bad idea... let's check the track and see if we can find signs of what might have taken someone."
<Chaintan> <Kitty> we could, though its up to you. 6*already climbing in
<DeathStar> *she examines the ride to see if there is a way to pull someone off the ride*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm..." *climbs into one of the carts in the ride*
<Alicia> * Charlotte sticks with Ren, surprising absolutely no-one
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Now then, tunnels seem to be a potential place."
<DeathStar> *Kitty would see the drainage pipe, though not the most fun place, and she will definitely need to get Taiga to give her a shower time afterward, leads somewhere for certain. After climbing for what seems quite sometime, she arrives in a hidden area under the ride. Was it build there? Is a maintence area? As the ride goes on the little area Kitty is in is barely phased. She sees what looks to be cleaned tools, a table with straps, and a trap door above her, and a hole above her*
<DeathStar> *The ride for Noire is fast and hard, shaking her all over and getting her clothes wet since she is ot in a bathing suit. But it's actually a lot of fun, outside shaking her around*
<Chaintan> <Kitty> yep... that'll do it
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty lifts her datapad to snap a pic and send to Taiga and Ren
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *rejoins Nicolette and Sabrina* Seems legit. *unaware she's above Kitty; the peephole is looking right up at the ride and watching people get on it, so whoever is there can watch potential victims*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *shifts her clothes into a black bikini since she cna do that*
<DeathStar> *Taiga eyes the picture* Okay. Kitty found something. A room under us.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So we need to find out how the person goes from down there to up top to grab a person
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And we can alert the authorities
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "...okay, that's really creepy."
<DeathStar> *Sabrina looks around for a trap door* I agree
<Jackieness> <Noire> *rejoins the others* "Found something then?"
<DeathStar> *As they are talking, a bear with a green hat and big ears, red bow tie walks over to them and taps Nicolette and Noire's shoulders - he looks a lot like the bear mascot
<DeathStar> *he looks a lot like the bear mascot that helped them out before*
<Ariel> * Nicolette narrows her eyes, "You're not the park mascot."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...I recognize this one..."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Please tell me there's not an evil plot here too."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...is this place a cover for experiments performed on unwitting victims?"
<DeathStar> *the mascot nods his head with Nicolette, agreeing he is not the park mascot, then motions for them to follow them*
<DeathStar> *waddling the cute walk it did before *
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves after the bear*
<Alicia> <Michiru> "What happened last time?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Last time it ran around with a rocket launcher I think
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And attacked a giant robot
<DeathStar> *Ren follows and Sabrina blinks*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "The robot was attacking us, by the way."
<DeathStar> *it stops at a trap door behind a hotdog stand and points*
<Ariel> * Nicolette sticks with the mascot, because it seems to know
<DeathStar> *then jerks as a gator mascot runs up, yelling at it and it runs way, making cute noises; the two mascots run around comedically*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So do we trust this trap door?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...Im willing."
<DeathStar> *Ren swallows and reaches out door it*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "H-hey!"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> You can follow it if you want, Nico
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "That's okay, it seems tiring and pointless."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Though hilarious all the same." *poses*
<DeathStar> *Ren opens it as Taiga nods. There is a ladder and it seems to lead to some worker areas. It all looks standard stuff for working on the rides, but one wall has a bear icon in chalk that looks bricked up*
<DeathStar> *bricked up long ago*
<Ariel> * Nicolette finds a dry spot to consult her cards though, really hoping the hotdogs aren't related to the missing people D=
<DeathStar> <Ren> *looks innocent, since she ate the food earlier*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "May I?" *knocks on the bricked up portion*
<DeathStar> *the food is .... safe*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Please
<Ariel> * Nicolette breaths a sigh of relief, and heads down
<Jackieness> <Noire> *lets her tentacles rise up behind her and then stab into the bricks to twera it down*
<DeathStar> *they break it down and find Kitty standing guard. Inside is the tools, as well as some trophies of the various missing people over the 15 years - around 7 in total, and an employee ID. The hotdog vendor*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I think this case is closed?
<DeathStar> *Taiga comms the local police and sends them here*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Lets get out of here and do some more cases.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Who would ruin food? *she asks Charlotte*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I can turn into a tentacle she-demon, but even I fidn that creepy."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Annoying shapeshifters would."
<DeathStar> <Ren> True
<DeathStar> *Taiga climbs up, giving Kitty leave to shower before she rejoins them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *morphs her bikini back into her school uniform look once they are back in the open*
<DeathStar> *after leaving the water park, Taiga then has them go back to doing odds and ends, working her way to the north part of Mega City it seems.*
<DeathStar> *a man's car is broken down on the street*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "So, we've now officially investigated the 'meth gators'."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *kneels and works on repairing it and a man seems to want to cross the street, but traffic is heavy*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "And we shall never mention them ever again."
<DeathStar> *As well as reporter trying to find leads on Lunar Girl, asking various people*
<Alicia> * Michiru helps the man cross the street
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Let's not look into the gator situation just yet.
<DeathStar> *the man thanks Michiru profusely*
<DeathStar> *Taiga shudders after the last case*
<DeathStar> *Taiga gets the car started and it drives on*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Alright, for the next case... *as she walks on, they pass a building on fire, with people asking for help; it looks to be a tall building of 6 stories and the building looks to be engulfed completely. People are hanging out their windows, screaming for help*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> ...
<DeathStar> *Sabrina floats up*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... stop the car."
<Alicia> <Michiru> "And here's the weirdness."
<DeathStar> *Taiga studies the fire, then looks for a firehose*
<DeathStar> *fire hydrant*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What is so weird about a fire?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> *turns to the blaze then forms tendril to try and snag people before they fall*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *Forms her wand and uses ice, but the fire is too strong*
<Ariel> * Nicolette curses herself for being so iffy on spirit bonds, and summons Neekito because she can mimic water
<DeathStar> *As Noire rescues people, Neekito appears, blinking, then studies the situation*
<Alicia> <Michiru> "Maybe I expected things to be different than they are." *teleports around rescuing people*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "A lot of people are in danger, we could really use help with the fire."
<DeathStar> *Taiga's eyes go golden and her tails go up to 8, looking a bit more like Miyuki. Getting the water to burst forth from the hydrant for Neekito, she moves into the fire hoping her fire element and foxfire will keep her from burning to death instantly*
<DeathStar> *Neekito nods and takes the water from the hydrant and begins to use it*
<DeathStar> *Michiru begins to bring people out*
<Alicia> * Charlotte hums as she grants power to Taiga
<DeathStar> *Ren does duplicate and sends her duplicate inside to help.*
<Ariel> * Nicolette douses herself in water and heads in to try to help people.
<DeathStar> *Neekito seems to struggle to keep the fire out of control, having half the power of the spirit she mimics, but keeps it at bay for those entering. Nicolette would hear people and Michiru would hear people on the other side of rooms; the fire, despite being put out rapidly be Neekito is hot. Givig them only a bit of time inside*
<DeathStar> *Taiga explodes out holding a kid and mother, looking weak and her tails bit burnt*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ow ow ow ow
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Taiga, are you ok?"
<DeathStar> *Neekito forces more water, making Nicolette and Michiru have an easier time to get inside the rooms with the people*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yeah. *her eyes go back to normal, her skin looking red and tails a bit burnt*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *she stands up*
<Alicia> * Michiru moves to rescue as many as she can
<DeathStar> *as Michiru enters the room, the backdraft isn't nearly as bad as it might be thanks to Neekito; she sees a family but the room is unstable due to the damage of the building. The fire department arrives and begins to help put out the fire as the family grabs onto Michiru and follow her out*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> *to Nicolette* The family with you is the last in the building
<DeathStar> *Sabrina floats down with her's,letting her ice shield down*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *to Noire* How is everyone?
<DeathStar> *She sits down as the building's flames are slowly put out*
<Ariel> * Nicolette drapes her cape over them and tries to escort them out safely, using some water magic of her own to ease the way
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I thinkw e got them all."
<DeathStar> *the family, a mother and her daughter, clings to Nicolette as she makes her way out, the fire fighters helping to escort her out - right as that part of the floor collapses*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> *kneels, resting*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Good job everyone. This was not the stop I intended.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Oh? Then where were we going?"
<Alicia> <Michiru> "Well, intended or not, I'm glad we could help."
<Ariel> * Nicolette hugs Neekito, "Thanks for the help."
<DeathStar> *Neekito returns the hug* I am always glad to help in such causes. *she smiles, her cat ears wiggling* Are you okay?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *motions* Oh, I thought we could investigate something special. You will see. *she moves along, wincing in pain as she leads them*
<DeathStar> <Ren> *holds one of her tails* Charlotte, is my tail okay?
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *to Michiru* You were very brave
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Peachy!"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Seriously, Taiga... do you need me to rub lotion on you?"
<Alicia> <CHarlotte> "As soft and fluffy as ever."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I might take you up on that. *she smiles. Neekito nods, joining them as they arrive at a convention. It seems to be a type of anime convention that specializes in Magical Girls and Dark Forces like Charlotte and Noire*
<DeathStar> *it shows a Magical Girl that looks a lot like Sparkling blasting someone that looks like Andrea with magical hearts on the banner*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Taiga... is this for my birthday?!"
<DeathStar> *Taiga laughs* Well there has been rumbling there has been something strange going on during the convention. Stuff like some of the cosplayers having true magic powers or the having dark powers.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Oh, we have to go there."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I thought it couldn't hurt to check it out after doing a lot of good deeds for the community
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And yes, my birthday is Reikana's birthday, in case the rest of you forgot."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Of course."
<DeathStar> <Ren> I know, I gave you both a present; if Reikana didn't leave yours out she did it on purposwe
<DeathStar> *As they pay to enter, there are various magical girl or dark magical girl outfits you can buy, the dark magical girl outfits looking a bit like Dark One stuff in some aspects, or Makai*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Oh, I love this."
<DeathStar> *Taiga eyes the magical girl outfit* <Taiga> Do we have to wear this to go in?
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *poses*
<Alicia> <Michiru> "Well, I guess I'm going to be a magical girl."
<DeathStar> <Neekito> So this is...make believe?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm..." *taps her lips with a finger*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I mean, basically... but that makes it seem a bit childish."
<DeathStar> *Taiga buys a magical girl outfit and goes into the changing room. Ren buys a Dark One outfit, returning as Dark Ren*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I just find it strange they want to pretend to be you
<Alicia> * Charlotte looks appreciative
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'm the real thing." *adjusts ehr glasses as she strikes a pose*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Well, they want the glamorous side. Which I can see the appeal."
