<Jackieness> <Noire> "Real food." *says with a huff* "I told you I would cook for our meeting here, didn't I?!"
<DeathStar> <Ren> I got distracted with our first real case in a while
<Seraphna> **Jaime pops in** I heard food?
<Seraphna> **Thena leans down from over Ren and looks at it**
<DeathStar> *the wall seems to have case files of murdered men and women*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Yes, I cooked. Now that the club is at my place, we have a kitchen." *takes some skewers of yakitori off of stove-top grill*
<DeathStar> *Ren wags, humming* I been learning under her to feed Charlotte
<Jackieness> <Noire> *then pulls some croquettes out of the oven and sets them on the counter* "Now do this is an orderly fashion."
<DeathStar> *Ren - orderly, grabs a plate and her share*
<DeathStar> *before anyone else*
<Seraphna> **Thena hums, nibbling on one**
<Seraphna> **Jaime lets Adeline know there's food**
<Alicia> * Charlotte quietly eats, thinking
<Jackieness> <Noire> *clas her hands together* "Better than cheap pizza, yes?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Yes. *Adeline walks in the front door* Why am I being bribed with food?
<Alicia> * Charlotte nods, too busy eating to speak
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Club meeting, and I cooked."
<DeathStar> *Adeline takes a seat and quietly takes some* Thank you. Arigato.
<Seraphna> **Jaime sits with her and noms food**
<DeathStar> *Ren finally speaks up* Okay, so here's what I got. *she begins to discuss it despite them eating, opening her folder*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *takes off her apron and then steps down into the seating area with her own plate*
<DeathStar> <Ren> The victims are found, no matter the sex, with their mouths cut open into twisted, horrible smiles
<DeathStar> <Ren> Others are killed with scissor marks
<DeathStar> <Ren> It seems insist, right?

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... two killers?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> The wounds are all done by scissor attacks and one person managed to survive and claimed a woman attacked him.
<DeathStar> <Ren> *she shows the pictures of the victim with the same scissored attack on his mouth, making a horrific joker smile* Apparently he was close enough to get help before passing out
<DeathStar> <Ren> He claims the woman asked him if she was pretty.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...oh..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Yes! Oh. IF you know your legends, you'll know we either have a deranged copy cat or a supernatural case
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Kuchisake-onna. The slash mouth woman. I know the urban legend..."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Enlighten me then
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Is a yokai... a woman who appears beautiful, but with scars from the corners of her mouth to her ears." *bites off some yakitori* "...mmmm... she asks you questions if she's pretty... if you say no, she murers you right then and there."

<DeathStar> <Adeline> Sounds like you get screwed either way if most of these people die
<DeathStar> *Ren muses* The question is how do we find her and stop her before our esteemed enemy locates her?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "There is supposed to be no right answer. The best you cna do is distractb her."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I could call in Kaelan then
<Seraphna> Jaime> She is good with the dark stuff.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I meant to enrage her
<Jackieness> <Noire> *adjusts her glasses* "Mmmm... also this isn't some common geist. She is a vengeful yokai. Think of the things in the haunted mountain village."
<DeathStar> *Ren muses* Then we definitely need to put her down
<DeathStar> *Ren reaches over to Charlotte and feels her up, as if looking for something, not caring that she is appearing to molesting her wife*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Lets see
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If you must, then use the bedroom. It even has a stripper pole."
<DeathStar> *Ren pulls out some of the Udon equipment* Hm?
<DeathStar> *Ren sets down a tracker and some traps* There
<Jackieness> <Noire> A"h... you weren't gettign frisky."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "We might take you up on your offer later."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Your bedroom has a stripper pole?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *waves a hand dismissively* "This was my sister's place. Reikana moved to the PAX full time, so I moved in to get my own space."
<Seraphna> Jaime> That was tactically not answered.

<DeathStar> <Ren> It's a really nice pole
<Jackieness> <Noire> *adjusts ehr glasses again, this time in annoyance* "And yes, there is a stripper pole in the master bedroom."
<DeathStar> <Ren> So, after what we encountered last time up in the mountains
<DeathStar> <Ren> And mom isn't here and Kitty isn't here

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Its non-descript, right?" *covers up the leftovers and then follows after them*
<DeathStar> *outside the apartments is a sleek looking vehicle that gives off a scooby doo mystery van almost if it wasn't more modernized, but it's clear it's roomy and can fit a lot of people. Inside there's a ton of room and has various equipment for all sorts of stuff as Ren gets into the driver seat*
<DeathStar> *Adeline sits in the back and peers at all the equipment with scanners and other things*
<Seraphna> **Thena pops into the passenger seat
<Seraphna> **Jaime sits in the back too** This looks like your thing Addy. Command center.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *climbs into the van and buckles up*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Seems that way as Ren pulls a lever and the van lifts off and begins to fly along to Japan*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan pops out of Noire's shadow as they fly** Oh hey. This isn't Andrea's room.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...noi...and why are you plotting to sneak into my mother's room?!"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Sneaking? Why would I do that? **sits on Noire's lap**
<DeathStar> *As they arrive at the areas of the attack in Japan, it is late evening and it seems to be lit up with various things going on in this smaller city, which surprisingly is a bit modern, with men about the streets heading for bars and there's even an arcade and kids hanging about*
<DeathStar> *Ren lands the van and parks it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Then ehy inquire about my mother's room?" *unbuckles*
<DeathStar> *Adeline gets out and looks around* A lot of people about still for an attack to occur
<DeathStar> *Ren muses*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> **hops off her lap** Why not?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Its private." *flicks her hair back and steps forward* "The place to start would be near the schools."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "How crude."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Yes it is~ **she muses and looks around, putting a Kitsune mask on over her face, wearing a loose Kimono, tails swaying behind her**
<DeathStar> <Ren> Right we go. *She heads towards the school, moving along quietly while Adeline looks thoughtful; as they near the school, it looks like the students are preparing for some sort of summer festival*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "When the legend was modernized, the reported cases pinned them close to schools because teenagers."
<Seraphna> **Jaime looks about while Thena waves from one of the festival stalls in a school uniform**
<DeathStar> <Ren> *raises an eyebrow since it's not open yet*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Fortunately, I'm already dressed to fit in."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Think I stand out too much?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I know nothing about setting up school festivals. *it seems the due to it getting late, most of the students are opting to sleep at the school, but some are heading home forthe night*
<DeathStar> *trudging past the group to wander about the streets as it gets even darker*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Would she hang out at the school?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "You might have gotten away with it if the festival were already open. Thena, stick to any students that traveling alone."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, somehow this feels like either way it could go wrong.
<Seraphna> **Thena pouts cutely, but then multiple Thenas head off after the students**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "She only attacks lone travelers."
<DeathStar> *it looks like the festival will probably open not tomorrow, but the day after. The student president wanders the grounds checking on things before heading back inside*
<DeathStar> *something shifting after her*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan muses, then her clothing and looks shift till she is a one tailed Kitsune in a school uniform**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...eyes open." *starts moving for the school building too*
<DeathStar> *follows along as Adeline steps up; the school President seems to have locked the door after her. If something was following her, she's alone in there with it until she joins with other students on her patrol*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How annoying..." *loks for another way in*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Kaelan, can you still foxhole?"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Of course I can. I am the mistress of foxholes.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan makes one to get through the door**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *steps through*
<Alicia> * Charlotte does likewise
<DeathStar> *Ren and Adeline step through*
<Seraphna> **Jaime steps through and Kaelan walks in after them**
<DeathStar> *The school looks dark at night, with long hallways and multiple doors*
<DeathStar> *a flashlight can be seen further down the hall, going up the stairs to the second floor*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods in the direction of the stairs and moves after*
<Alicia> * Charlotte follows
<Seraphna> **Jaime looks annoyed with the dark and holds a small orb of hyperspace up to light the way as they go**
<Seraphna> **Noire's chest squeaks**
<DeathStar> *Ren and Adeline turn*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...not now..."
<Alicia> * CHarlotte looks over
<DeathStar> *Ren slowly reaches and gropes Noire*
<DeathStar> <Ren> What in the hell..?
<Seraphna> **Thena pops out of the cleavage, a chibi** One of my clones poofed. The Scissorlady got her... well she distracted her for the student to escape.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What are you doing?!"
<Seraphna> Thena> Riding your boobs.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ahem... so she already struck. If she is saisfied with the kill, she won't attack again tonight."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Unless there's two killers.
<DeathStar> *suddenly a flashlight rolls down the stairs8
<Seraphna> Jaime> See? I said a thing and dramatic scary moment happened.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "This way!" *runs up the stairs*
<Seraphna> **Thena rides the jiggle**
<Seraphna> **Jaime makes her way after the others holding up the hypertorch**
<Seraphna> **Kaelan huffs and shadow slips up the stairs a bit**
<DeathStar> *as they make it to the second floor, it looks clear. No sign of the School President. Ren tries the class room doors and finds them locked*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... hm. If she isn't in sight and the class rooms are locked...
<Seraphna> Jaime> I mean, she had to be holding the flashlight for it to fall down stairs. Did it take her somewhere?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *goes to check the bathrooms*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> What else might be nearby. *she glances - the only things on the floor seem to be the class rooms, the bathrooms, more stairs up to the next floor, cleaning supply rooms*
<DeathStar> *The door pushes open*
<DeathStar> *and Noire sees blood*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *steps inside and reaches over to turn on the lights*
<DeathStar> *a leg sticks out of one of the talls*
<DeathStar> *Stalls
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm..." *goes to open the stall*
<Alicia> * CHarlotte stands ready
<DeathStar> *the Student President has been stabbed to death, clearly with scissors judging by the wounds*
<DeathStar> *Ren eyes the body* But we didn't pass by anyone on the way down.
<Seraphna> Thena> Two scissor ladies!
<DeathStar> <Ren> I don't think that's how it works
<Seraphna> Jaime> What? Think it's the ghost of some child that died back when this was another school or something?
<Seraphna> **Kaelan peers about**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...one student council president to another...I will find and punish this injustice!"
<DeathStar> <Ren> IS there another type of ghost that uses scissors, or is it a copy cat of the scissor lady?
<DeathStar> *Adeline peers up the third floor, trying to see if someone might be hiding up there*
<Alicia> * Charlotte checks the face, just in case
<DeathStar> *no smiling - if this is the scissor lady's work, she must have said no to be stabbed to death*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks at the floor for signs of blood droplets, footprints, etc*
<Seraphna> **Jaime honors the buddy system by sticking with Adeline**
<DeathStar> *there doesn't seem to be anything, except maybe the body looks like it might hav e been dragged a bit. It's clear the student president fled in here, and fell in a bit in rush to flee something, but there does appear to be some dragging into the stall perhaps*
<DeathStar> *Adeline examines the top floor* I don't see anyone. If there are two ghosts, How many ghost legends use scissors?
<DeathStar> *she walks back down*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, well I'm not the best on this but I can think of three actually.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Check the Internet then. History of this school."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Three?
<DeathStar> <Ren> On it
<DeathStar> *Ren looks Charlotte over*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yeah, the Yokai, a serial killer child ghost and this one I heard about used in some ancient games called a Scissor Man.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Charlotte.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I think he... was a barber or gardener or something? Went bad and then killed ladies in a clock tower. You know how earth stories are.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Hmm?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> My beautiful school aged wife, how do you feel about posing as a student? I look too old, since I graduated college.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Maybe you can ask questions of the students tomorrow
<Seraphna> **Thena muses and begins to climb out of Noire's boobs** Gonna grow again, best not to ruin my new ride's top.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If undercover work is needed, I too can still pass. I even have the uniform already."

<DeathStar> Location: High School
<DeathStar> *the group finds themselves working on the school festival that will be opening to the public tomorrow; students are still constructing things for their class rooms, stalls, and other last minute things. Some classrooms are doing maid cafes, idol shows and more.*
<DeathStar> *Ren talks to them through comms in their ears*
<DeathStar> *it seems that the festival will be held in honor of the student president, which a long ceremony was held that morning for her*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *walks about, looking for a place to fit in while waiting for the next opportunity to catch the killer*
<DeathStar> *And it's clear there's a depressed atmosphere*
<Seraphna> **Jaime is in a school uniform, and appears younger**
<Seraphna> **Thena who easily passes is dressed the same**
<DeathStar> <Ren> Going through the history of the school, it seems to be a rather old school for the small city, being build back when the city was still a village. They've had incidents in the village over the centuries with various stories, like the legend of the woman who asks if you are pretty. As far far the school goes, it has nothing to it other than a few years back a girl was attacked by something in the bathroom some students claimed, but the faculty believed it was bullying. That same bathroom you were in

<DeathStar> *Adeline works on constructing a fort for a classroom while interviewing people*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... what about before the school was built?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Before the school was built. Hm. Give me some time. The school has been built upon previous schools for a long time it seems so it might take a bit. <Adeline on comm> So you mean to say it's one old school
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Alot of these hauntings go back to the Edo period, so we cna't discount that the yokai was from somethign previously on the same site."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "You'd think they'd move it."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Or it was a case of bullying inthe first case
<Jackieness> <Noire> *stops in front of an idol show* "Mmmmmmm..."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> *steps away and taps the air, bringing up the first girl's case, looking at her file as it hovers in the air - seeing her broken form in the hospital bed and being put in a coma* Seems she was attacked pretty harshly. Hospital bills piling up to keep her alive. Hm.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Coma Girl projecting?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Why get stabby then?"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Or angry relative wanting revenge. But why attack strangers
<Seraphna> Jaime> Are they strangers?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How long ago was the first incident?"
<DeathStar> *Ren looks into the file* The three girls that were present that day all claimed it was some unseen force. No one believed them. Being a few years back, they are graduated now. Lets see. But ... they do have siblings entering school. One of the girls' siblings was ... a certain school President
<DeathStar> <Ren> The other two's siblings are.... *she brings up their files to find them*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> So again, who attacked the School President?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "That's what we're trying to find out."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Did the comatose girl have any relative currently enrolled or on the staff?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> I’d like to check out Coma Girl.
<DeathStar> *Ren works, and soon brings up a teacher - a haggard looking man* <Adeline> I'll take you to find her then
<DeathStar> *Adeline offers Jaime her arm*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And where is this teacher?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime takes it and smiles**
<DeathStar> <Ren> He's currently working with the class room that is trying to make the maid cafe
<DeathStar> *Adeline sneaks off with Jaime to go to the hospital*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "i'm on it." *heads to the maid cafe*
<DeathStar> *Noire would find the haggard teacher at this desk, doing work, while the students do their thing*
<DeathStar> *while Jaime and Adeline travel across town*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Your target is there. You should--- Hm? You shouldn't be here in my van... *she stops communicating*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I have my eyes on him... any idea... Ren?"
<Alicia> * Charlotte heads for the van, in a hurry
<DeathStar> *Ren is parked outside the school in a dark area. Charlotte would see a creepy looking woman emerging from the van with scissors*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "And what are you up to?"
<DeathStar> *the woman turns to Charlotte and she can feel her unnatural aura - she is beautiful but her smile is cut and looks horric. Inside Ren has been stabbed multiple times and looks dead.* <Woman> Am I pretty? *she asks Charlotte, likely heard over the comms by the others as Adeline and Jaime reach the hospital*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaves the school to head back for the van*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... *touches her ear* Charlotte. That's the spirit. Becareful.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Tell her she’s pretty.
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and looks over the girl, feeling out for mental activity**
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Fine, sure, but if you don't let me help Ren right now, you're dead."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Don't say yes, or she'll attack too!?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> *picks up the pace and runs back at full speed*
<DeathStar> *the girl approaches Charlotte, showing even more of her face and grabs Charlotte by her face to cut her mouth to match her own as Noire arrives on the scene*
<DeathStar> *Jaime would pick up faint activity - very faint*
<Alicia> * Charlotte meanwhile stabs her with tendrils.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "You're not as pretty as me!"
<DeathStar> *The spirit grunts, then peers at Noire, moving for Noire*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Charlotte, traps then get Ren to the hospital. I'll hold her off!"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Hm, I'm not sure if she has enough power to be the killer ,but she might could influence someone with hatred. Maybe
<DeathStar> *Ren twitches, her natural dragoon healing kicking in slowly it seems.*
<DeathStar> <Ren> ugh
<Alicia> * Charlotte, remembering the traps, goes to use one on the spirit
<DeathStar> *Ren rolls onto her back, opening her eyes*
<Seraphna> Jaime> She does have brain activity at least… maybe we can bring in one of our healers to get her better…
<Jackieness> <Noire> *forms her Dark Edge katana and readies ehrself for the yokai*
<DeathStar> *The spirit seems stronger now, perhaps enraged by Noire, and looks like she is morphinh into something bigger and nastier as she towers over Noire; Charlotte finds the traps on the seat*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Ow. You ...go get her... sexy student. *she jokes, grabbing bandages as she coughs up fluids, wrapping herself up*
<Seraphna> **Thena pops into sight near Noire and pulls out a pointy stick**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Maybe if you weren't so insecure, you could just look in a mirror and answer your own question yourself!"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I'll try that. But that doesn't explain who did the school killing or if this girl had a hand in it. Becareful. *She heads off*
<Alicia> * Charlotte attempts to trap the spirit while Noire has it distracted
<DeathStar> *the spirit makes an inhuman roar as Charlotte traps her into the trap, the Udon trap locking her in place*
<DeathStar> *Ren uses her teeth to tear off the bandages that stain with red* Good job. Did you ...catch the other one?
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and taps her foot in thought, then probes the girl’s thoughts a bit more to see if she’s conscious or just dreaming**
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Not yet... but that means there are definitely two."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *walks over* "We didn't have a positve ID on the other killer yet."
<DeathStar> *she seems to be in a dreaming state of the incident*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Poor kid… you’re reliving that over and over aren’t you…
<DeathStar> *Ren moves over to her seat and puts her head set on all shakily* Hm. The one sibling is in the class with the idol program and the other is working at this booth making food
<DeathStar> *She shows their faces*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Have Adeline and Jaime checked the coma girl yet?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime taps her comms** She keeps dreaming about the incident.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Has Adeline uses her pionics to get a witness acocunt yet?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> That’s kind of what I’m doing… **she closes her eyes and tries to see if the dream shows her attacker**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Charlotte, let's go back into the school. Thena, stay here and watch Ren's back along with the trapped yokai."
<Seraphna> **Thena salutes**
<DeathStar> *The the trap bounces in it's trap, trying to get out. Ren smacks it*
<DeathStar> *Jaime would see that .... it appears to be indeed the girls in the past with the girl, smack talking her when something in the wall of the bathroom influences them to go too far and beat her*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads back to the school grounds and then to the idol program students*
<DeathStar> *before sliding it slides into her and begins to influence someone else. Infact, Jaime would find a pillow in her hand over the girl's face, as if she wer about to smother her*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Alright.."
<DeathStar> *Noire would find the younger sibling in the idol program missing. As if someone had called her away somewhere*
<Seraphna> Jaime> It was the girls but… something in the bathroom wall pushed them into violence.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm..." *starts for the bathroom*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Huh… same bathroom?
<Alicia> * Charlotte heads over there
<DeathStar> *Adeline returns with Cuddles* <Cuddles> Jaime, step away from the girl

<DeathStar> *Adeline checks Jaime* Hm, I feel a residue in you. *she begins to scrub it as Cuddles works to heal the girl*

<Seraphna> Jaime> Is something in her messing with her or did she… **looks a bit traumatized**
<DeathStar> *the door, blocked with some objects, comes crashing down. The hagged teacher stands over the bleeding student, preparing to stab more, looking like he is in a trance of hatred*
<DeathStar> <Student> H-Help me. Sensei has gone mad.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan pops out of Noire’s shadow, she friend at the sight and tugs the student to them through the teacher’s shadow**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *dashes over to knock down the teacher*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I don't know. It could be her feelings or maybe there was something in that bathroom
<Seraphna> *frowns
<Seraphna> **Jaime looks over at the girl worried**
<DeathStar> *the teacher is easily sent down, being a lightweight teacher. He looks for his scissors and crawls about the floor*
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> There, I have healed her. She will wake soon
<DeathStar> *before collapsing face first*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Take care of him!" *walks into the stall*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan checks the kid over, Jaime squeaks and floats Cuddles so she doesn’t hit the floor**

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm..." *raises her sword and then slashes at the wall of the stall*
<DeathStar> *Noire causes property damage, revealing what seems to be an older looking wall that they build up around of the foundation of the previous building. Some sort of darkness flows through the wall, a sort of malice creeps through it and tries to get away*
<DeathStar> *all syrupy*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Got you! Thena, send a clone with a trap now!"
<DeathStar> *Ren hands it to Thena*
<Seraphna> **Thena sends her clone with it**
<DeathStar> *the malice attaches to Charlotte*
<DeathStar> *Trying to make her attack Noire with a tendril*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *parries the tendril with the flat side of her sword*
<DeathStar> *Ren foxholes to try to help out*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Char!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Use a ward to drive it out of her!"
<Alicia> * Charlotte struggles to get free
<DeathStar> *The malice begins to make her look all cool looking as malice characters do in games, with a purple aura and white hair. Ren chants like she saw Taiga do, adding foxfire to a charm and slams it onto her forehead, driving it off for the trap*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Now!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Thena, open the trap!"
<Seraphna> **Thena hits the trap button!**
<DeathStar> *the malice is trapped. A smoke bomb rolls in and begins to clear blind them as Charlotte's returns to her normal look and those strange supernatural units rush in and grab the malice trap, trying to get out*
<DeathStar> *leaving something in Thena's hand*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Kaelan, attack!"
<DeathStar> *Ren coughs, hurting her wounds*
<Seraphna> **Thena looks at what she has while Kaelan opens a foxhole under the unit and into a loop**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *dashes out of the bathroom after the thieves*
<DeathStar> *it seems to be remote bomb. 5. ... 4.... 3...*
<Seraphna> **Thena teleports high over the school with it**
<Seraphna> **The original vintage Thena never left the van**
<Alicia> * Charlotte takes deep breaths, looking for where the supernatural units went
<DeathStar> *seeing they are in a loop, they tap something and use a spirit warp to appear in the middle of the festival, elicting screams. Ren opens foxholes for everoyne and stumbles in*
<DeathStar> *a unit opens the van to grab the yokai and aims guns at Thena*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *leaps out into the school grounds*
<Alicia> * Charlotte does likewise, recovering her bearings quickly
<Seraphna> **Thena looks at them and the guns** Rude. Will give you to the count of 2 to surrender.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan leaps through and charges at the thugs**
<DeathStar> *the unit on the festival ground rushes for what appears to be a shuttle lowering down. Ren points, coughing* There
<DeathStar> *they pick her up and put hre in the back as they grab the trap to leave*
<Seraphna> **Thena huffs, and the nodes she formed outside the van start blasting**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well...." *makes a fist and then tries to slam the shuttle with a Dark Matter singularity at the shuttle*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan draws a katana from darkness and leaps into one of the retreating thugs shadows**
<DeathStar> *Adeline arrives on the scene on a bicycle with Jaime and toots her horn to distract enemies before TKing them*
<DeathStar> *The attacks on them, the attack on the shuttle, and the TKing, forces them to leave their goods behind as they run off into the crowd of students for now*
<DeathStar> *Ren grabs the goods, handing them to Charlotte*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Do you have the trap?!"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Yes
<DeathStar> <Adeline> They almost felt like ... no. They couldn't be
<DeathStar> *Adeline muses*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Who were they?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Get to the van and egt both traps to Kitsune Udon for proper disposal."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> They moved like V.I operatives a bit.
<Seraphna> Thena> Told them to surrender.
<DeathStar> <Ren> I call them Supernatural Operatives
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "They can stay out of our way in future."
<Jackieness> <Noire> I have something to check on first..." *walks back to the school building* "Kaelan with me."
<DeathStar> *Ren moves to deal with the traps with Thena*
<DeathStar> *Adeline follows along with Noire, curious*
<Alicia> * Charlotte checks on the thing with Noire too

<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads back into the haunted bathroom and then peeks into the opening she made in the wall* "Now let's see..."
<DeathStar> *it seems one can see the older bulding's structure. If one reall wanted, one could make it bigger and slip inbetween the building's foundations and move around inside the walls due to how they build upon it. It's like there's a thin space there*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "This is terrible building design."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses her tendrils to try to pull the opening wider to slip in to look*
<Alicia> <CHarlotte> "Well, if we're going back there..."
<Alicia> * Charlotte does similar
<DeathStar> *Adeline muses, and uses her smaller frame to slip inside and drops down*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "My curiosity is piqued... I want to know what that thing was."
<DeathStar> *TK floating out of sight*
<Seraphna> **Jaime having popped in frowns, tracking her**
<Alicia> * Charlotte slips inside as well, using her shapeshifting if required to fit through the gap
<Jackieness> <Noire> *climbs down into the older building*
<DeathStar> *down on the first floor area the cramped passage has bugs, spider-webs and lots ofdusts. One can hear the students through the walls as they move along and it traces the building up until they find an area that was closed off from the main school, an ancient building that looks like it was a type of religious building with scrolls that have been eaten away and mats rotted away. The door is blocked off due to the new building*
<DeathStar> *it's so dark in here that one needs light to see in here*
<DeathStar> *Ren poofs on Charlotte's shoulder in fox form*
<Alicia> <CHarlotte> "...and someone thought it was a good idea to build a school here..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Old shrine or temple." *touches the comm earpiece* "Ren, did you ever finish that backtrace on the history of the site? We found some sort of shrine down here."
<DeathStar> *Ren hops off and goes big form* I think it was the school's shrine.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan slides out of Noire’s shadow again to look around**
<DeathStar> <Ren> Why they built over it I have no idea
<DeathStar> *Ren looks at her datapad where you can see it in the older building and then can't in the newer*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Or maybe it was a dojo?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, its been walled off but mostly intact. Very strange."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Someone definitely didn't want it to be used anymore
<DeathStar> *Adeline kneels and TK rips up some boards and steps back*

<DeathStar> *she slams the board back down*

<Alicia> <Charlotte> "That bad?"

<Seraphna> **Kaelan hops through and closes it after the others**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *adjusts ehr glasses* "Ren, we need to ge this school closed down before we have a repeat... and we need information as to what that... that was."
<DeathStar> *Ren nods and heads off to do just that*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I can't imagine lot of things can create pure malice
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I'll see about finding people who can purify such things.

There's native american attacks on people for reasons that date back way before our time. Restless spirits that belong to the land - I'm talking what might be a form of sprites maybe here though. People claiming to hear the wind and see what looks like something. A truck that attacks you and runs you off the road, trying to kill you on a certain road and vanishes, and then a ghost train on tracks that were decomissed long ago and apparently who accidently step on it never return or if they do, claim they have seen things
