<DeathStar> *Ren goes into a long fox speech on something*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> She said she heals faster in fox form.
<DeathStar> *Ren comedically pulls herself up the chair and onto the counter, snacking*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> I think this entire meeting was just to eat your snacks. *Taiga glances at Ren's notes in fox handwriting*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, at least my cooking is appreciated."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Also it looks like Thena isn't here because she's training idols in addition to being with Athena. *Reading the notes*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> That girl can only make 8 clones. Where does she find the time?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *waves a hand* "At least she is out of our hair right now."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And it seems Warren hasn't reported in yet his findings. *she notes, stealing some snacks from Ren, leading to Ren trying to bite her*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *folds her newspaper* If you like I can bring you up to date on some strangeness I been tracking
<Jackieness> <Noire> *pulls out a tray of soem puff pastry snacks from the oven and sets them down to cool* "I'm listening."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'll go from least important to most important then
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty yawns as she arrives at Noire's place and gives a light knock
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Apparently *she opens a foxhole and opens the door for Kitty* Kaori can eat 3x her size in food. Where does it all go?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Scienfically impossible
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Let those cool..." *eawalks around form the kitchen and goes to answer the door*
<DeathStar> *Ren eyes the snacks like they need to be devoured immediately despite being hot*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *wlaks back into the kitchen* "Some mysteries are better left unsolved.'
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I suppose so. Hess probably wouldn't like me examining her too much
<DeathStar> *Ren flails comedically for some reason*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...did you eat one of my Miniature Beef Wellingtons while they were still hot, Ren?!"
<Chaintan> <Kitty> that i can promise you, especially after the last few nights of us not sleeping properly
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The second thing on the agenda is Aya Winters, But I'm sure Chad is looking into this already. I don't know how many of you know of the Id system Chad had before I was born. Well it feels like Aya has the opposite going on the past year. She's gone out of her way to do anything for anyone. I mean - to her deteriment. During this war she's given *shows the amount of blood* worked more hours than she should on the dockets, and giving away her money to all the causes. I'd be shocked if she has any left. *Taiga pulls a seat aside for Kitty*
<DeathStar> <Ren> *tries to look cute*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *Studies Kitty* Why are't you sleeping? Is it because of X? That was the third thing.
<Chaintan> <Kitty> unfortantly, yes Mother is why
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I said they were hot." *places Ren back on the floor in a corner*
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty gives another big yawn as she paws blindly for the chair before taking her seat
<DeathStar> *Ren sulks in the corner*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The third thing on the agenda - the wound X received in the last battle
<Jackieness> <Noire> "From the Templar weapon?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The templars' ritual knife to undo unnatural beings. Yes. Cuddles supposedly has patched her up a few weeks ago, but X has yet to return to status quo
<DeathStar> <Taiga> There's something in X that is being registered as an unnatural being despit the fact she is a weapon and dragon hybrid.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And that wound seems to bothering her, trying to erase her existance
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I find it strange that the Templars themselves seemingly manifested form nothig... quite unnatural, if you ask me."
<Chaintan> <Kitty> and doing my family a great deal of stress, Hess doesnt want to leave her side, and barely eats now
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The fact she isn't really a supernatural being is why X didn't die on the spot.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... I suppose that no one has any theories then?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, X was a Weapon. *motions at Kitty* And somehow became part Dragoon, so her body might be in a state of flux
<Chaintan> <Kitty> I wish I had the energy to form any but I must confess, ive been in something of a fog
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Weapons have the ability to gain more abilities
<DeathStar> <Taiga> That's their unique charm
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They adapt to their situations
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Alright... has she picked up any abilities that are unnaturally sourced?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> If I was cruel, I could stress Kitty out with certain stressors and she would over time get a move that would stop me
<Chaintan> <Kitty> ....youre lucky I dont smack you for that
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty flops against Taiga's side
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *pulls Kitty against her side and strokes her head* Alright, lets go with that. Lets assume X adapted to something we been dealing with lately and has an unnatural affinity
<DeathStar> <Taiga> When would she have picked it up?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm.... what missions has she been on?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga brings up the lists*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> She's done support for the Magi during the war. I don't think she's gone on too many of our missions
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Then let's focus on these magi support missions."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> She did go on the Woods mission
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And the wiendgo
<Chaintan> <Kitty> i cant recall if she fought during that...
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yeah. So she's been playing support mainly during this war. I can't recall seeing X using magic. *brings up files of X during the battles with the Dark Ones and Templars*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... she doens't need to use magic herself as long as her own abilities might have adapted to resist something magical or the like."
<Chaintan> <Kitty> No I mean...Wiendigos can curse too or spread it by bodily contact but...Im running on fumes so I could be talking out of my ass
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So we think she could have picked up magical resistance from being around the Magi so much, or a wiendgo curse. The woods case was mainly strange things like unicorns
<Chaintan> <Kitty> either is possible
<DeathStar> *Ren poofs to human form, rubbing her jaw* I'd hate to get rid of magical resistance if she picked that up.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> If that's what this dagger is focused on then she needs to lose it
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... is there a way to suppress her abilities temporarily?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... *Glances at Kitty, then thinks* There's a few ways to surpress a Weapon. A weapon/dragoon hybrid? Hm.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *then places the Mini Beef Wellingtons on to the breakfast bar with the other snacks*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We just need to suppress the Weapon half, if that helps."
<DeathStar> *Ren takes one and offers it to Kitty* You look like you need energy*
<Chaintan> <Kitty> I would think Medical would have something? or at least wouldnt your mom had something Taiga? Considering her line of work
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yeah and it so happens mom is back on Earth. She got tired of being on PAX and decided to return to the manor.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Alright, road trip to the manor. I'll drive
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Shall I pack up the hor d'ouevers then?"
<DeathStar> *Ren snacks like she plans to eat them all before they go - then pauses* Sure
<Chaintan> <Kitty> only if I can ask to use your kitchen long enough to make a double espresso
<Jackieness> <Noire> *starts packing up the food* "I don't have any coffee."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I know a way to wake you up!
<Chaintan> <Kitty> ??
<DeathStar> *Taiga dips Kitty and gives her a surprise kiss* <Ren> I'm just shocked shorty mom can pull that off.
<Chaintan> 6*And kitty flops over, limp
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... that wasn't the reaction I was expecting
<DeathStar> <Taiga> More like a jolt of energy
<Chaintan> 6*Instead Kitty breathes shallowly, eyes closed. She fell asleep
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Your charms are truly astounding."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I ... it's still a skill
<DeathStar> <Ren> Lets get Kitty to the van and maybe she can rest on the way to grandma's
<Jackieness> <Noire> *adjusts her glasses* "Mmmmmm...indeed."
<DeathStar> *Taiga helps carry Kitty down to the van with Ren, and then gets in the driver seat*
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty stays in hibernation mode
<Jackieness> <Noire> *climbs into the van*

<DeathStar> *Taiga drives through Mega City, using lights to speed through it like Cheryl would, arriving at the manor*
<DeathStar> *parking outside it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Feels like its been forever since I was last here... in any form."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Lets see what we have at mom's. Ren hops out and easily lifts Kitty into her arms* <Taiga> It's always nice to be home. IT feels sane here. *she knocks on the door and Cheryl answers the door in a maid oufit. You can tell it's her by the longer hair. Cheryl jerking at it being Taiga*
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> This is NOT a kink thing. Lemon got pissed at me for making a huge mess
<Jackieness> <Noire> *eyes Cheryl up and down* "The maid uniform seems an extravagance... so are you sure its not a kink thing?"
<DeathStar> *Cheryl twitches* Come in, dear daughter and friends
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It was normal once. *She walks in and Ren sets Kitty down*
<DeathStar> *Cheryl shuts the door* God, who else will show up today.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *walks inside*
<Chaintan> <Kitty> rude
<DeathStar> *Cheryl acks* I thought you were asleep and at least I'd be spared this getting to your mom
<Chaintan> <Kitty> I was.. 6*she yawns and plops her head back down
<DeathStar> *Ren hands Kitty some comfy pillows as Lemon walks in, wearing a suit*
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Cheryl, you should have told me I had guests. <Cheryl> It's my daughter. Buzz off.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...this is just getting kinkier."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> You should know about their past before Lemon became her own person
<DeathStar> *Cheryl and Lemon both eye Taiga*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Anyway, I'm here for something to help X. She's not getting better. *claps her hands* And we have an idea how to help her. But I need something to shut her weapon abilities down for a time
<Chaintan> <Kitty> Cheryl and Cheryl, do you have something that can ---- 6*another yawn1 what she said
<DeathStar> *Both Cheryl and Lemon seem to think* <Cheryl> We should have something. It's usually for operating and the weapon has a shield ability. I think Vodka came up with it
<DeathStar> *Lemon heads down to the base to look for it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Once we are done, everyone gets hot tub privileges tonight at my place."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Just use the dosage for however long you need the power to stay down
<Chaintan> <Kitty> I just need a couple days to sleep
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Warm water is relaxing."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Once we use this it should work. If we're right, just inject it. Do you want one of us to do it or do you want to do it? *Lemon returns with an injector with various levels of dosages marked*
<Chaintan> <Kitty> absolutely, but I rather not be the buzz kill who nearly drowns in your hot tub
<Jackieness> <Noire> "It could be amusing..."
<DeathStar> *Taiga eyes Noire*
<Chaintan> <Kitty> relax Taiga, I havent drowned yet
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What is that look, Taiga? You know I have a sharp sense of humor."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Lets get to X's
<Chaintan> <Kitty> and I promise to not tell mom about whatever this is 6*Kitty sloppily gestures to Cheryl and Lemon
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Hah!"
<DeathStar> *Cheryl protests all the way to the van as they head out to X's*
<DeathStar> *As they arrive there, X doesn't greet them like normal. Ren casually pushes open the door and a ripple arrow flies at her head*
<DeathStar> <Ren> EEK
<Jackieness> <Noire> *waits a moment for effect* "...watch out."
<DeathStar> *Taiga helps Kitty out of the van as she walks up to the house* I think X is wily
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Wily?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> A little edgy.
<DeathStar> *Ren calls out* We come in peace
<DeathStar> *Then Ren slips inside*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...that isn't what wily means."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, I guess I should start treating Yuki better as Ren has rushed off to her doom
<Chaintan> <Kitty> Mom isnt wiley....MOM? You here?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Let's go and rescue her then." *heads in as well*
<DeathStar> *pause* <X> *looks out, her shoulder bandaged from where she was stabbed, the wound still looking like it bleeds occasionally despite Cuddles treatment for days* Kitty. Ah. Sorry. *she is holding Ren by the scruff of her neck*
<DeathStar> <X> Let me go make some drinks. *she ripples Ren on top of Taiga and heads for the kitchen*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Cuddles told her not to be using her powers
<DeathStar> *muttering*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, we'll take care of that soon..."
<Chaintan> <Kitty> uh... mom? Ren is our guest and...the doctor said not to use your powers
<DeathStar> <X> Sorry. I'll behave. *she wipes her forehead, looking like she might have a fever* Just feeling restless. *as she prepares their tea and snacks with her food hand, she soon joins them and sets it down on the table, sitting down herself*
<DeathStar> <X> You girls worry so. *Referring to Kitty and Hess*
<Chaintan> <Kitty> Mom, that goes without question
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty goes to sit beside her
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Taiga, let's not beat around the bush then."
<DeathStar> *Taiga quietly is preparing the dosage* We came up with a way to stop the ritual dagger's effects on you
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We just need you to take this shot
<DeathStar> *X eyes that* You want to depower me?
<Chaintan> <Kitty> only temporarily, so we can get you better then restore you
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yes. Even if Cuddles might have tried it, it might not have been long enough and we just want to target your Weapon's ability to adapt and learn new things. Your Dragoon half might even take up the slack and start healing you.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Long enough for the Templar power to decide you aren't an unnatural being anymore."
<DeathStar> *X eyes Kitty, then offers her arm; Taiga takes it and gives her the shot; she then begins to pull out her equipment that Taiga likes to carry and examines her*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> On a note, I want Kitty to avoid these daggers too. You been around a lot of mystical stuff lately. IF you pick up an unnaural ability, these things might erase you
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty hugs her mom and nods
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Same for Hess
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'd probably drop dead instantly myself..."
<Chaintan> <Kitty> of course
<DeathStar> *X hugs Kitty. For a time Taiga seems to be studying her instruments, then nods* I think she's healing and it's attacking the wound. I set the dosage for a day. But you can increase it if it doesn't look like that was enough
<DeathStar> <Taiga> That seems to be that. We'll leave you both alone.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Get your swimsuits, ladies. Hot tub time."
<Chaintan> <Kitty> thank you Taiga
<Chaintan> 6*she stands briefly and gives her a peck
<DeathStar> *Taiga smiles* Anything for you. *she hugs and as she follows Noire* You really are enjoying that hottub
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Its relaxing."
