<Seraphna> Thena> Hopefully ghost pirates!

<DeathStar> <Taiga> The tracker detected the on the ocean floor - a certain ore I need to make a ... ore machine
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...what project takes us out on a tall ship?"

<DeathStar> *she motions at the crane on the ship to grab it off the ocean floor*
<Seraphna> **Jaime glowers a bit and adjusts a straw hat**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Just don't hit anything. *She notes as they float along near some islands in the distance*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> *peers at Thena* Who knows what Thena might crash into. Do you know have to pilot an actual ship?

<Seraphna> Thena> Yep!

<Sara> <Kaori> I'm gonna puke.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Athena sent her to a few sailing camps. She tried to take over as few, succeeded twice.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Also keep your eyes on the horizon, not the water or ship deck."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> She goes on about pirates, I would hope she knows a thing or two about ships. Unless Kaori wants to do the captain thing
<Seraphna> **Thena checks the heading** First Mate! Avast!
<DeathStar> *As they reach the first marker, Taiga motions for Thena to stop*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Kaori, ready the crane!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Modern pirates don't even talk like that...if they ever did."
<Seraphna> **Several Thena’s bring the ship to a stop**

<DeathStar> <Taiga> And how did they talk? *she notes, checking the beautiful skies start to darken, wondering if they'll have to find a port soon, clucking her tongue*
<Sara> * Kaori tries to ready the crane... and tries not to barf
<DeathStar> *The crane drops down into the ocean*
<Seraphna> Thena> Avast! Admiral Heaven will not put up with mutiny.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "It depended upon their origin." *adjusts her glasses* "Some were rebeliious nobles, so they spoke upper crust."
<DeathStar> *Taiga leans over the edge, eyeing the ocean and taking note of the depth*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Don't look at the water, Kaori."
<DeathStar> *it clunks soon enough and begins to gather the ore, Taiga shifts to help pull the crane up with Kaori with their bounty*
<DeathStar> *Taiga dumps the ore into a large bucket she has for it - as well as other materials they pulled up*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well ... I could use more. *rumbling from a storm in the distance* But the weather is getting worse
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Won't do any good if the ship goes down with the ore and us on it."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> That is true. Thena?
<Seraphna> **Thena muses** If we can find a bag nearby we can weather it.
<Seraphna> *bay
<Sara> <Kaori> Why did I sign up for this, again? *she notes, even as she works*
<DeathStar> *Taiga studies the nearby islands* Well, there's a few islands not too far off.
<DeathStar> *she pulls her map out* Or we could try to go further and go to a true port
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Check the weather radar for how far and fast the storm is."
<Seraphna> **Thena eyes the map and steers them for an island**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> That's the weird thing. There's suppose to be clear weather for days.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *eyes her datapad which is bugging out* Any of you got datapads?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Signal is acting out
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If only the weatherman were as efficient as the postal service."
<Seraphna> Thena> I sense Ghost Pirates.

<DeathStar> *As they near the island, they find a bay they can shelter in and soon enough the strange storm is nearly upon them. Taiga begins to move around the ship* <Taiga> Here, I prepard something just incase of a storm
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What is it?"
<Seraphna> Thena> The latest edition of Pirates & Krackens?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I had Kitty help whip me up something. *she pulls out a large tarp like cover to block in the incoming rain with ripple like properties to make sure the worst of the rain is rippled away from them*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Lets hang it in the direction of the storm
<Seraphna> Thena> Okay! **Team Thena sets it up**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses ehr tendrils to help hang it up*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> There. *and soon sure enough the storm hits, the tarp doing it's part to try to keep them dry, but it can do only so much*
<DeathStar> *Taiga has moved her ore below deck and sits in a chair*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *has switched to a bikini since she doesn't want her other clothes wet*
<Seraphna> **Thena sets out rulebooks and dice**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'd never take you for one to get sea sick
<Seraphna> **Jaime seems to be naked**
<DeathStar> *she notes as the boat rocks from the storm*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "A game that relies upon reading is not advisable for those who are susceptible to seasickness."
<Seraphna> Thena> But it’s Pirates & Kracken!

<DeathStar> <Taiga> That last thing we need is a loud noise

<Chaintan> 6*one of the stronger rocking jolts to the ship brings a rolling figure out till it collides with Taiga

<DeathStar> *Taiga groans under Hess* ... I am... beginning to think... my family line... is hated...

<Chaintan> 6*Hess makes a 'ew' face and pushes Taiga away
<Chaintan> <Hess> more like I was cosplaying the inside of a locker

<Chaintan> 6*Hess gets to her feet and wobbles to Kaori
<Chaintan> <Hess> hang on Kaokao, I think i got some seasickness medication on me

<DeathStar> *Taiga stands up, shaking her head when suddenly outside in the storm there's a strange wailing sound*

<Seraphna> **Thena is on her datapad, tempting Fate as Noire does that** Come join us~

<DeathStar> *The datapad signal is still not working outside what is hard saved on it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'll go with you just in case."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I mean sure, the tarp should keep you mostly dry
<DeathStar> *Taiga moves to the hatch* Ready?

<Seraphna> **Thena follows**
<DeathStar> *outside, the parts of the deck not protected are being hammered by the storm, the rain and water pouring over it and making slick and wet; out in the storm, lightning and the waves are crashing about. The wailing sounds almost like the cries of the damned as the get up on deck as Taiga looks around, keeping to the protected areas.*
<DeathStar> *in the distance, a ship can be seen with teach lightning strike, sailing in the storm*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... well that person is an idiot
<Chaintan> <Hess> WE are out here too Taiga...

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Binoculars." *holds out her hand*
<DeathStar> *Taiga's ears twitch at the wailing as she hands it to Noire, moving to the side of the deck, risking gtting wet*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *raises the binculars up and looks at the other ship*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> .. *stares into the ocean itself*
<Chaintan> <Hess> you ok Taiga?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I think I See movement in the ocean.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Near the rocks
<Chaintan> 6*Hess peers over to look and squints
<Seraphna> Thena> A dreaded sea-buffalo.
<DeathStar> *it looks like creatures, humanoid creatures, are propped by the rocks, almost like they're singing - or wailing*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *lowers the binoculars* "Taiga, a word please."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ...
<Sara> <Kaori> A sea... what
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Huh? *turns, as if having to really focus on Noire's words*
<Chaintan> <Hess> we got something
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I said a word... please. Preferably out of Thena's earshot."
<DeathStar> *Taiga nods slowly, turning back to the ocean, then moves toward Noire slowly*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Sure
<Seraphna> Thena> Sea Buffalo.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *steps away from the others and lowers her voice* "That's a ghost ship out there."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... *eyes sharpen* ah. There's things down by the rocks winging.
<DeathStar> *singing
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Singing? Mmmm... Homer's Odyssey."
<Seraphna> **Jaime comes up from below still naked**
<Chaintan> <Hess> Jaime for goodness sake!
<Seraphna> Jaime> Huh?

<Chaintan> 6*Hess climbs back down with everyone and pulls the hatch down
<DeathStar> *Taiga moves down, the wailing song continuing*
<Seraphna> **Si waits with a rope and fuzzy cuffs**

<Sara> * Kaori breathes a sigh of relief when the hatch is pulled down
<DeathStar> *Taiga allows herself to be tied up to a post, muttering to herself about stuff*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Now, we need to do this in a way so that Taiga can't go to the sirens if they enchant her, but easy enoguh for us to releae her if the ship goes down."

<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'm half tempted to have Thena sail us out but it might be a bad isea.

<Seraphna> Thena> We could ask the Sea Buffalo for help.

<DeathStar> *fog begins to roll in despite the storm. Taiga tilts her head* That's new

<Jackieness> <Noire> *points at Hess and Si* "Keep Taiga here. If the stories are tru, the sierens will drown then eat her." *turns then pints at Thena* "Thena, with me. prepare to repel boarders."

<Jackieness> <Noire> "No, Thena... we've likely been boarded by those ghost pirates."
<Seraphna> Thena> Gasp! You hid my foes from me? Are you a pirate spy!?

<Seraphna> **Si makes out with Taiga to keep her occupied**

<DeathStar> *the hatch opens and rain pours in*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *forms her Dark Edge and then waits at the foot of the steps down*
<Seraphna> **Thena forms a hyper cutlass and leaps out**
<DeathStar> *there seems to be no one on te deck. Just fog and rain hitting it. The ship is closer though, but it looks like a normal ship*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So is Thena alive?

<DeathStar> *Even the wailing has died down*
<Jackieness> <Noire> 8moves up after Thena* "Somethign wa sup here...be on your guard, Thena."

<DeathStar> *the ship is now just a little bit away, drifting abandoned*

<Jackieness> <Noire> *pulls up the binoculars again and looks at it*
<DeathStar> *it looks normal - but the shape and all that was definitely the ghost ship she saw earlier.*
<DeathStar> *Thena would find an abandoned ship full of dust and long abandoned*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Let me guess, she's on the other ship

<DeathStar> *there seems to be possibly shadows down there in the fog, but it's hard to say. They could be waiting for Taiga to come up on deck to resume wailing*

<Seraphna> **Thena starts getting the other ship ready to sail**
<DeathStar> *meanwhile, Thena discovers many skeletons on the ship - in the sailors quarters*

<DeathStar> *suddenly, Thena's merowl can be heard in the fog as she goes off character line*
<DeathStar> *From some attack on the other ship*
<DeathStar> *The other ship slowly going into a ghost ship again*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...and Thena just got herself ghosted."

<Seraphna> **Another Thena peeks out of Noire’s cleavage**

<DeathStar> *Taiga makes a hiss sound at them as she is tackled at the stairs, crawling for the exit* Lemme go, I gotta get out of here!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What ia going on down there?!"

<Seraphna> Si> Taigy trying to escape!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Thena, pepare to set sail while I deal with this." *heads back down*
<Seraphna> Thena> But ghost pirate now.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *stops and eyes Thena* "That means you can sail a ship without having to eat or sleep. Now get to it before Taiga drowns herself."
<Seraphna> **Thena merowls and team Ghost Thena’s get the ship ready**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads back down below deck*
<DeathStar> *they set sail. Taiga wiggles and waggles*
<Chaintan> 6*Noire would find Hess sitting on Taiga with Si grappling her
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Hold on." *uses her tendrils to try to lash up Taiga*
<DeathStar> *Taiga makes a noise*
<DeathStar> *The sirens chase the ship, trying to get at it for a bit*
<Seraphna> **The Thenas sing a sad shanty**
<Sara> * Kaori occasionally eyes Taiga, just keeping an extra eye out even though Hess is on top of the situation
<Chaintan> <Hess>...are they having a pirate equivilant of a rap battle out there?

<Seraphna> Jaime> I’m hoping distance will remove her curse.

<Seraphna> **The Thenas pause and start to sing too… about eating fish ladies**

<Jackieness> <Noire> *releases Taiga* "You were selected to be the main course at a siren dinner. Lucky you."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> What happened. Why is Thena looking strange? *she notes as Thena returns to normal as she steps into the cabin*

<DeathStar> *she eyes her datapad, which is now connecting to the Holonet*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... yes, Then got herself cursed then saved you with her offkey singing."

<Seraphna> Thena> Undead Thena not good at singing. My ancient foe the Ghost Pirate Captain got me.
<Seraphna> Thena> Not surprised he tried get Taiga. He likes young foxes.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> You all seemed unaffected by the stuff. *she calls up something on her datapad* I'll bring in someone to help get rid of this ship. One moment. *talking on the datapad* There. Give them a moment to arrive with the tools you need
<DeathStar> *as Taiga gathers her stuff onto a lifeboat, she turns* Anyone want to join me?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, the sirens seeme dto target you specificlaly. As for thena... she went on board the ghost ship."

<Sara> * Kaori shrugs. "I wonder if letting Taiga leave is a good idea..."
<Chaintan> <Hess> I know but Im not sure what threat could stop her...well maybe one thing but mom isnt here
<DeathStar> *another small boat can be seen approaching their boat*

<DeathStar> <Ren> That's it's name? *the pirate captain makes a loud noise and swings at them all, knocking Thena ut of the salt circle*

<DeathStar> *he points his blade at Noire*

<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses her tendrils to lift herself up to loom over the captain* "An eldritch being from the dark between the stars!"

And then we shall see who will have the last laugh. *the ghost makes a roar of frustration and retreats, leaving it's sword behind - the ship sinking into the sea and leaving their's alone*

<DeathStar> <Ren> So anything else need to be taken care of? I know mom wanted more ore but I think we should home. *Eyes Noire* And Noire and Hess' ego's will be through the roof. And when we all die and they face him again, their egos will be even bigger as they bully him again
