<DeathStar> *Taiga pauses on her comm* I'll contact both and see who will respond. *Sends the call out and leaves the teleporter open* Anyway, I can't say this 63 will have what we want. <Adeline> Wait a second
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...so is this a reality where our side lost...or something?"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> *she narrows her eyes* 63>
<DeathStar> <Adeline> There's only 63 realities?
<Seraphna> Jaime> They might still be forming?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Technically there are a few more than that.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I've had a theory that the times Fate shows up coiincide with moments a reality might form.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Those are branches from our reality - I've also found realities like with the Michiruverse. And uh, there's also what I call the oddverses.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Oddverses?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...do we even want to know?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Are those the weird ones that seem to have no relation to ours whatsoever save similar people?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They are realities that are not attached to the main branch that seem to form. They could be realities where Kaori for example ... might be be ... a super hero with a toast in her mouth

<DeathStar> <Ren> That's oddly specific
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Toast...in her mouth...? Like an anime cliche?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yes. .. I've put the oddverses in their own category. And numbered them.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I read about a few in the old reports. There was one where Lawyers did battle in a 3 day arena and another where people shot themselves in the head with these blank guns to summon things.
<DeathStar> <Ren> WAit what?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yeah they were all weird.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I doubt we'll need to go to an Oddverse for anything
<Seraphna> Jaime> One was a city full of gangs wearing purple.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I seriously cannot see any of them holding information we might need
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "They're not exactly going to inform our understanding of this universe."
<DeathStar> *the teleporter activates and Vyvy walks in, looking haggard, her longer hair needing a serious combing*
<DeathStar> *her one eye having a shadow under it*
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** Vyvy dear, we need a moment before the next jump.

<Seraphna> Jaime> **takes her hand and leads her to one side**

<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... That's the infamous Vyvy?
<Seraphna> Jaime> I know how you're feeling right now and wanting to keep the kids safe, but you're harming their reputation and running yourself ragged... we need to find a way to make it better for all of you.
<Sara> * Chelsea looks at her, blinking
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...she needs a makeover."
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> ... I'm preparing them.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "As expected, Vyvy really loves her spirits."

<Seraphna> Jaime> You can still do that, but you're taking a nap too. Each spirit has people we can trust to care for them for a bit and help them answer their people's pleas.
<Seraphna> Jaime> For instance, Shade's daughters have the Nymphs and several choice guardians. Soren has the Hapian family and the Guards. And Cloud has the Amazon royal family and the elites. They can watch them for a bit every day while you get a break.
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> *Eyes Jaime, then the others* Is this what the call is about, an intervention?
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> I thought it was about something else. *She goes to leave*
<Seraphna> Jaime> No, we'll need your help checking on spirits in other dimensions.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Which of course means you'll need people to watch the kids on trips.
<DeathStar> *Taiga softly clears her throat* Are you both done? I'll start up the reality portal. Chelsea?
<Seraphna> **Jaime gives her a smile** I'll have Anyata take a look in on them for now.
<DeathStar> *Vyvy does not look pleased, but moves over to the others as Taiga starts up the portal* Can you join the group? ... *mumbles* Incase there's fighting.
<Seraphna> **Jaime sends her a message** I'm sure Void will enjoy some time alone.

<DeathStar> *She turns to Charlotte* Ready?
<DeathStar> *Alouette attaches a camera to Noire*

<DeathStar> *they arrive near a broken Academy*
<DeathStar> *The students working on it physically*
<DeathStar> *Ren looks around*
<DeathStar> *Vyvy scowls, looking about*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "So, this is the reality where the academy got wrecked."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So...the Geyze Academy was damaged again. That is totally strange and never happens in our reality." *aims the camera at the Academy*
<DeathStar> *Adeline quietly steps in, taking note that the air feels a little staler* I believe your academy got wrecked too but it was reversed
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well it seems Death was stopped at least.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Due to Nicolette using Death
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Ah, so this is a close reality, timeline wise."
<DeathStar> *looking around there is indeed decay on the ground and on the buildings, as if Death has decayed the area*
<DeathStar> *There's even places the students are avoiding*
<DeathStar> *Chelsea's house is one such place*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So...what is the next step?"
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> You want me to find some of my wives. *She steps into the academy*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, she's not wrong."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Then do your thing."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yeah, I'm a bit limited compared to you, I can only feel for Gnome, Salamander and Nocturne.
<DeathStar> <Ren> I wonder what the split and difference will be here.
<Seraphna> **Jaime feels for Gnome though, since that's one Vyvy isn't a wife too**
<DeathStar> *Jaime feels nothing, no sign of a connection*
<DeathStar> *Vyvy walks along, studying the Academy; no one seems to pay her any mind*
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns** I should at least feel Terra... **she focuses more and starts to feel for more**
<DeathStar> *Jaime feels Terra - it seems Terra has is at the Ent Forest*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I feel so useless here."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'm apparently just here as a living camera, so..."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I'm not even that yet."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well we could look around the Academy for clues. <Academy> Well. How about that. *She points at two spirit kids playing - Aimée and Mélodie*

<Seraphna> Jaime> I feel Terra at least.
<DeathStar> *Vyvy seems to be using her connection to the spirits to feel out things silently in the center of the academy*
<DeathStar> *Aimee takes out a giant hammer and Melodie pulls out a strange ball*
<Seraphna> **Jaime walks carefully, moving around**
<DeathStar> *the two hit Sparkling into the sky*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Uh...
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "OKay, Makaball is not a game I'm familiar with."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well... that just happened."
<DeathStar> *Vyvy returns to the group after a bit*
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> .... This place is worse off.
<DeathStar> <Ren> What do you mean?
<DeathStar> *Vyvy glances at Chelsea*
<Sara> * Chelsea seems sad
<Jackieness> <Noire> *points teh camera at Vyvy*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... what did I miss?"
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> You have been practicing elemental flows?
<Sara> <Chelsea> Yes...
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> Can you feel them out or try them?
<Sara> * Chelsea closes her eyes and feels out
<DeathStar> *The elemental energy of Geyze has depleted. Something has changed with their battle with Death*
<Sara> <Chelsea> There's... nothing
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> I imagine attempting magic is harder here. I wonder what it means for sprites, Maka, and familiars
<DeathStar> <Ren> Should we subtly try to talk to someone?
<Seraphna> **Jaime ponders** So whatever outcome they had, Death's damage was never reveresed.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "For Maka, they're probably just weaker... for sprites and familiars it might be worse."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "so who would be safe to talk to?"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> The leader?
<DeathStar> *She marches for Lumi and Sasha*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *adjusts her glasses* "Mmmmm...yes...the ones most likely to see through any cover story that we might concoct."
<DeathStar> *As they are about to reach Lumi's office, instead of Lumi who is in there, Sylph steps out of the Peacekeeper's office, wearing the uniform. Her one wing is damaged and she looks ... less than herself*
<DeathStar> *Vyvy blinks and eyes Sylph, who looks thin and distracted, patroling the area, grabbing the two kids off Sparkling*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I was not expecting that
<DeathStar> *Sylph lectures Sparkling to stand up for herself against Melodie*
<Alicia> * Sparkling gives an awkward "Thankyou" and then nods a little sadly at the lecture
<DeathStar> *Aimee and Melodie try to look cute as Sylph moves onward, and hug on Sparkling*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *points her bustline at the lecturing*
<Alicia> * Sparkling hugs back, not seeming hurt by the rough "play"
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> I don't feel Sylph.
<DeathStar> *She comments*

<DeathStar> <Ren> I'm beginning to think that might have happened
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> The Spirits left behind their fake cores.
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> I'm going to see if I can find any cores here
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... what happened to the university?" * She asks Sylph, dancing around the Death Spirit issue until it's brought up
<Seraphna> Jaime> You think they did too? That's a relief...
<DeathStar> *She tries to get into Sylph's office while Charlotte does that*
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> ... if they did not leave behind fake cores, then I am without hope. *She murmurs*
<DeathStar> *Ren hides behind Charlotte as Sylph turns to Charlotte, staring at her*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> You look familiar
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, I'll tell you what we found studying them, it does give hope. **squeezes her shoulder**
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I do? Ah well, we might have met before, I forget."
<DeathStar> <Sylph> A battle occurred, Many died.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Repairs needed. Sasha paying for it
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Ah... how long do you think it'll take for things to get back to normal?"
<DeathStar> <Sylph> ...*hangs head* Death ..we should have stopped him that day. He unleashed his powers on our planet and killed it. We spirits are dying. We are ghosts trying to keep it alive to find reverse it. Normal? ... *She laughs bitterly*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> .... *She looks lonely, probably having lose some people in that fight*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Hm. So in one timeline, Death struck the spirits, in another he struck Geyze
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods, frowning**
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Mmm..." *she pauses, sadly and thoughtfully, then speaks again* "I believe you'll succeed though."
<DeathStar> *She notes to herself* We should becareful of that since it is still alive
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And doing what then? Where is it now?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> So you didn't stop it...
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Nicolette has it bound to try to bring our spirits back, if you recall
<DeathStar> *Sylph looks up, then nods* Thank you. *She moves off to do her rounds*
<DeathStar> *Vyvy sneaks back out, holding something in her hand*
<Seraphna> **Jaime rubs her temples** I was trying to forget that I was denied killing it.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Healing is better than vengeance... and I'm not just saying that from a moral perspective."
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> It looks like this reality's spirits are all alive; but they are so weak they could barely be considered alive. I am not sure if they can help bring ours back. This Geyze is dying.
<Seraphna> **Jaime breathes** I suppose... I at least have hope of getting Gnome back, despite it taking her from me.
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> *She looks bitter*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...so what made the Death spirit choose one vector for attack over the other?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime gives Vyvy an understanding hug**
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Hmmm... I wonder."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Something in the battle must have made it hit the planet over the spirits.
<Alicia> * Charlotte has an idea, but is unwilling to say in any place where Sylph might overhear.
<Sara> <Chelsea> Soon enough this would just be another Kumen...
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...such as?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga on wrist watch> Shall I bring you back if there is nothing there to help? Unless it verified that your spirits are alive?

<Alicia> <Charlotte> *c* "Alive is... debatable."
<DeathStar> *A portal opens up when Taiga suddenly can be heard cursing*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Language.

<Alicia> <Charlotte> *c* "That wasn't intentional!?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> I Think something happened
<DeathStar> *Ren steps through the portal*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...what just happened?"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Lets find out." *heads after Ren*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *shakes her head and moves for the portal*
<Seraphna> **jaime steps through, Thena appears and steps through with a bag**
<DeathStar> *The bad no doubt has body parts*

<DeathStar> *As they arrive, the place looks like a mess as another reality portal is open beside there open, about to close, Taiga and Kaori are missing, and Alouette has been knocked over and trying to get up, the reploid girl struggling*

<DeathStar> <Ren> What in the world?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...so...we had an incursion."
<Alicia> <CHarlotte> "WHat happened to Angela?"
<Alicia> * Charlotte helps Alouette as she asks
<DeathStar> *Ren takes a glance at the Reality # - 23. #25 seems to be the enemy reality that Taiga has marked off as Do Not Enter, indicating it is likely the Adeline and Charlotte reality*
<DeathStar> <Alouette> I think she is been stuffed into something. Thank you. *She looks around and pulls Angela out of a trash compactor*
<Seraphna> Angela> Ugh....
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> *looks at the portal close and verifies the reality that they went into* Hm. It looks like they took your women
<Jackieness> <Noire> "For what purpose?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> What?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I wanted to announce my hypothesis about what happened on the world we just left, but it doesn't seem important now."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Go ahead. It'll take us a moment to boot up the system. I Think they took mom since she designed the reality system and are questioning her
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "We certainly don't have time to back and check on that world's Charlotte, Ren and Noire."
<DeathStar> *Vyvy looks at Chelsea, wondering if they have any reason to chase after them*
<Seraphna> Si> Oof. **picks herself up, no doubt having put up a gight** We gotta get Taigu!
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... you remember the trip to hell? Where there was some death spirit and... a bigger one...?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Yeah. I rememeber.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I think something we did, or could have done there, caused the problems with the invading death spirit. Fate being around suggests it was a major event..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...what else could we have done except run or die?"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Obviously, I'm not going to bring up something that could make us look like the cause of *that* in front of Sylph."
<DeathStar> *Adeline quietly reboots the system and gets the portal up, then synchs the wrist watches* There, this will allow you to jump without needing to come back right away
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I don't know. If we had time, we could possibly find out what went differently..."
<Seraphna> **Jaime fixes her watch, Si putting one on**
<DeathStar> <Ren> I ... I don't know. We don't even know if it's connected yet. *her right ear twitches*
<DeathStar> <Ren> That place had a lot of scary things
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And ultimately irrelevant. Our reality is in a better place than there's. Now come on." *heads toward the portal*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Possibly the only thing we could have done to prevent it is ignore Chad's request. Still..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Right. We'll fix this if it is our fault. I promise. *She looks at Vyvy staring after them*
<DeathStar> <Vyvy> I'll monitor things from here... *She notes softly*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "We'll find out more later, and fix this. Somehow."
<DeathStar> *As they step through the portal, they arrive at:

<DeathStar> *it seems to be some sort of techno type Earth - is it an Oddreality? DEspite being numbered? It's almost like a technoir world with neon lights and flying cars going by*
<DeathStar> *Ren squints and tries to pick up on Taiga and Kaori's scents*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around* "Mmmmmm..."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well it's an interesting one... still, wish it could be better circumstance.
<Seraphna> **Si feels out for her Taiga**
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Hm. *She eyes her datapad as Si picks up Taiga on a flying vehicle high up in the sky amongst the flying vehicles amongst the tall buildings, with the group o nthe ground level*
<DeathStar> *Walking among them are all sorts of people in various jackets and clothes, looking plugged into the holonet*
<DeathStar> *And paying them little mind*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Is this a world where Kumen's holonet never went bad?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "More likely where our Holonet went cyberpunk."
<DeathStar> <Ren> How do we get up there?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, something changed. I don't know if it's something big or not, but at least it's not Ymir becoming a tyrant or anything."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around for anaelevator or something*
<DeathStar> *There seems to be an elevator in the back that allows one to get to higher floors*

<DeathStar> *Ren steps in*

<Alicia> * CHarlotte heads after, still trying to determine the cause of the difference
<DeathStar> *Adeline quietly follows; as they step in, advertisements float in front of them, showing various things. Strangely, sexy Chelsea adverisements appear in the air, advertising Asarar's team*

<DeathStar> *As they ride up, suddenly the sexyily dressed Chelsea appears in the elevator, no doubt using the elevator, with Asarar and her team appearing a moment later; Asarar having her hand on Chelsea's rear*

<DeathStar> <Adeline> Reality differences.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...no wonder the Progenitors are nearly extinct..."
<Seraphna> Jaime> You're one to talk.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We outnumber you by a couple zeroes."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> ... *Eyes the group, then to Chelsea* They did hire us, right?
<DeathStar> *The elevator hits the top floor and opens*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, the progenitor with impulse control issues here did."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yes, we did. And how, Noire.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *points at Jaime* "She hired you."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I don't know, how are there so many more Dark Ones than Progenitors, I wonder...?"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> ... *She lifts Chelsea up by her rear* I think we'll refund the money and go now
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Can we ask a few questions before you go?"

<Seraphna> Jaime> We're after a friend of ours who was just kidnapped.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I know you specialize in tracking and retrieval.
<Sara> * Chelsea is kind of laughing, but trying not to
<Alicia> * Charlotte relaxes at the team finally getting back on track again
<Seraphna> **Si holds up pictures of Kaori and Taiga.
<Seraphna> Si> We need these two back, at least one is right... that way. **she points like a retriever**
<DeathStar> **Asarar nods* Alright. *She taps the air and an flying vehicle appears*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Me and Chelsea will fly you there; she's a great pilot

<DeathStar> *Asarar takes a seat and the back seat opens for everyone*
