<DeathStar> <Ren> It looks like it's a reality where either you weren't born or you two died. I can only guestimate so much without sending probes in which might get detected. But. *She brings up what little they can guess from Taiga's mapping and it looks like it's a reality where Andrea is in charge of a massive Dark One - recent - branching at some point in time with the PAX and the universe basically being pushed back by these new Dark Ones since they'ce sprung up at their doorstep it looks like*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> I was thinking about how the residents of 25 came out as from Reality 23 that one time
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...what are your thoughts?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, Oddverses, due to their nature typically are strange realities that I would not think of little consequence to these thieves. I could be wrong. We'll have to see - so we should not write them off yet. But some might not be bad places to hold as meeting places or lunching spots compared to actual Realities where we might be monitored.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> A reality where we might be running a cafe for example would be a perfect place to then move onto Reality 13.

<DeathStar> *They find a cute little overly animeish world where they're on a large univerity campus that seems to stretch many blocks. The students here wear cute little uniforms and the school seems to run all the stores and cafes and the students work the stores/shops*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Welcome to the PAX University

<DeathStar> <Taiga> As do I. *She motions at her teacher's outfit - which looks a lot like a student's uniform in many ways*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Did you want to see it or should we move onto uh opening a portal to the next reality - demonstrating that I think the Oddverse reality will likely not even notice it that much, *Ren for her part has wandered into a coffe shop to stare at their version of Charlotte*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'm curious enough to see this... how safe is this reality?"

<DeathStar> *As they arrive in the class, they find Andrea wearing offical glasses, an outfit like Taiga teacher skirt and and outfit, looking younger right now, teaching Reikana and Noire as well Kyouki and a few others Dark elemental theory stuff. Her class isn't as advanced as the Prime Andrea and seems to be taught as an actual classroom class, going over theories and what not and at the end what will be at on the test next week,*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Alright, lets do the portal thing and we're done. Unless you two want to explore a bit. *she steps off to the side* The people here shouldn't even really investigate that much. *she uses a reality gun and opens a reality portal to Reality 11 while Ren hmphs at Noire*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Okay, another reality is stable. <Aurica on comms> I have connection here
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Remember, you have your real Charlotte back home, and that is the only Charlotte you should have eyes for."
<DeathStar> <Ren> That is true. *Wags*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads for the new protal*
<DeathStar> *Taiga steps into Reality 11, which seems to be a reality that branched off as they stand on Earth*
<DeathStar> *the changes look pretty much the same for the most part*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What do you have on this reality?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Without sending too many probes, *She scans it with her tech*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I believe it's a reality where Jaime did not convince Erevis to go back in time and she went with the group that went with the team into the past
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Essentially, this is a reality where the Empress ruled with Erevis facing off with her early
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And the consequences of that were?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I do not know. The consquences created many realities.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I haven't charted how many yet. And some out of order. You would think they would be 11, 12, 13, 14 - but no. It was such a monumentally decision it's made many throughout the realities that formed again and again.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And what about this one specifically?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Such as Erevis going with the team - what changes on reality - when she came back, was she stronger, weaker? As for this one. *she uses her probes* Give me a moment as my datapad gives it all to me.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around*
<DeathStar> *The people of the Earth seem to have gone through the Dark War recently and come out fairly okay*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Got it
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Alright, what is itneresting to see here?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The group managed to return from their mission
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Even though it was a time mission that only had one outcome I thought, they all returned and Erevis managed to find a way to turn her powers back on and with a new twist
<DeathStar> <Taiga> She challenged the Empress and defeated/killed her, which apparently the Empress wanted, turning the PAX over to her and Erevis named herself the new Empress instead of turning it over to Lenneth like with our timeline and she began to set up stuff to prepare for the Serpent
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Her name powers seem to be a some sort of Progenitor-mage tech
<DeathStar> *power
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...any useful ideas we can take back home?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They went on with a stronger PAX to fight against the Dark Ones and Tsivrixsh with that but the PAX was pretty wrecked in the end. I could record all this but the PAX will likely detect it and they'd come after us
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Just having a PAX with bigger guns doesn't help us. I was hoping for something more creative."
<DeathStar> *Taiga hmmms* <Taiga> Well, the fact the learned some sort of Progenitor Mage tech is osmething new I'd like to know more
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It also looks like their Suisen Empire is in a stronger fincial situation than ours
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But I think we could only learn more by meeting them
<DeathStar> <Ren> I Think we should hold that off for now, right?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Right... let's gather what intel we can, and then consider approaching them more formally later."
<DeathStar> *Taiga downloads what is available and nods, while Ren steps back through the portal*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> You make me feel like some old bag anyway. Jaime confirmed this she did talk to Erevis and convinced her mom to talk to the Empress. Which led her to no going into the the past
<DeathStar> <Taiga> She felt the two were both "Good people"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Mmm..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, despite Jaime's impulsiveness, things did work out in the end."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Did it? Reality 11's PAX might have been a little more damaged but in the end I've been probing it a bit since they we left.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "So, what happened differently?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, it seems to be a reality where most likely Erevis would have returned from the past with Progenitor mage powers - having found a new way to restore them since the Empress wouldn't have handed them back, and the two would have battled it out. The Empress' goal, Jaime says, was to push Erevis to see how strong she could be.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well..." *adjusts her glasses* "We survived and the crisis was averted. That is things wporking out. Granted, it may or may not be the best outcome, but at least we are here to ponder it."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So the outcome: Erevis' mage powers were stronger and she could have killed the Empress and restored herself.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> With Syiean under orders to then tell Erevis everything about the Serpent and how to unlock the PAX' full potiential
<DeathStar> <Ren> And that's why in Reality 11 that Erevis decided to become the Empress instead of Lenneth?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...the last is something that has not happened in our reality. The PAX is still not complete."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Right. We had two PAXes to battle the Dark War. They had one, so they had a more damaged PAX coming out of it
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Their Erevis' spent less
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "If we can discover their secrets..."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So the empire is in a better standing
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Given our current conflict, we need to find a way to approach them as potential allies."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Right, the Cartel is taking advantage of our Suisen Empire's allies
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I mean, it would be nice to learn about techno-progenitor stuff. I'm not sure if their backing could help us though
<DeathStar> <Ren> Who would be best to go?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We don't need their backing per se, but I would like to cultivate allies all the same."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Lets give it a try then
<DeathStar> *Ren takes Charlotte and nuzzles*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If they can provide us with data about the Serpent that would let us prepare, all the better."
<DeathStar> *Taiga muses* I'd like to see something while we're there before trying to get on the PAX.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Even if they can't give the secrets of unlocking the PAX's full potential... there's no reason they wouldn't tell us everything they know about the Serpent."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We been checking out Oddverses so much I hadn't thought to look at it with my own eyes.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Precisely my thinking."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well this reality might not have played out this way remember - it's just a branch off.
<DeathStar> <Ren> We saw a reality that was more advanced with holovid noir in the future. .... At least. I think it was the future.

<DeathStar> *the stop off Oddverse, the group finds themselves on a street with a bunch of cafes - it seems people here, especially students, love cafes, or working at them. A group of cafe worker, some students, are making barkery goods, and some are definitly those the group knows - since it's called Evil Baked Goods evil though it looks cute as "Evil" and it smells good and the outfits look cute as hell*
<DeathStar> *Andrea, the store owner, sets out a chocolate cake*
<DeathStar> *For her two employees, Reikana and Noire*
<DeathStar> *And one other employee who is working - Charlotte, who seems to have joined just to be close*
<DeathStar> *Ren is there just to eat*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> We're just using the Oddverse as a stopgate incase things in Reality 11 go bad
<DeathStar> *Taiga walks along past some of the cafes and finds a safe spot to open another portal with her gun to Reality 11* Here we go
<DeathStar> <Ren> But this place smells so good and your counter part looks good in that...
<DeathStar> *Ren has to be dragged away*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Charlotte, you need to get ren to a self-control class."

<DeathStar> *The Baking World Ren seems to have bought a huge platter of baked goods and walks out with it; with shop keep Charlotte waving them goodbye*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "There'll be time to eat later."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "i'll make you something when we get back."
<DeathStar> *The portal to 11 opens and Taiga steps through, figuring Jaime or whoever is following*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *steps through the portal*
<DeathStar> *The team arrives on Earth once again - nothing too special. It seems like a normal Mega City.* <Taiga> Alright. Lets find a safe spot and I'll have Ren and Charlotte transform and we can get into space
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How close is this reality to our own?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I number them by how I find - but decision wise.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Erevis going into into the past was a decision a bit into things I think
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Alright here we are

<DeathStar> <Taiga> If it is, we'll back off and see about approaching the PAX and seeing if we can get on board
<DeathStar> *As they lift off, Ren provides a protection shield for everyone as they lift off into space*
<DeathStar> *as they near the tree space, they see Geyze and Kumen*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> That's still the same
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Any sign of the tree?"
<Alicia> * Charlotte looks for it
<DeathStar> *But as they get closer to the tree, they'd find the area of the tree is simply not there. It's like an area of space is not existant there; Ren slows them down*

<DeathStar> *Their Erevis faces pauses and leans in* Not many would be willing to admit that. There would be many that would try to find ways to destroy your reality and it with it.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Destroying our reality means destroying the Yggdrasil, which means the suicide of the multiverse. Not an outcome anyone sane would desire, and I prefer to beat the Serpent."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> A sane point. I too would prefer to see my world and people continue. *She ruffles her Jikuu's head* All I know is that I've heard when the time comes that the serpent would rip through the tree at when the time comes and shriek the world's end

<DeathStar> <Erevis> The Serpent told Syiean that she failed to stop the plans of the Serpent and an entire phase was lost. Maybe if I had worked with the Empress more I would haee known her secrets more. But that is something I do not know. All I know is second hand that the Empress studied the Serpent and went after it viciously. As for myself.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> My goals were in the past to defeat her and gain power. I did that in dicovering Progenitor-adjacent docunments. During all this time, I had no idea bout the Empress and her war with the Serpent.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> But I do know a few things 1) The serpent will come back to life after 13 years. Several of those have already passed. 2) There's a being watching it. 3) I believe the Serpent has certain power
