Ren pauses before a resturant that has been abandoned due to looters with food going to waste, helping herself to a snack*

<Alicia> <Charlotte> "People still need to eat."
<Seraphna> Si> Such innocent burgers…
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It's a shame, last time the group came here this place was too good to be true.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> It's not like there's a magic cure that can be hand waved over the city or something absurd like that

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Right now I want to check out the EarthGov building, see if we can find Aya.

<Seraphna> **Si pulls a giant sandwich out of subspace and munches**

<Seraphna> **Si pauses and gives her some**
<DeathStar> *Ren munches on it*
<Seraphna> **Thena chibis and hops on Noire’s shoulder**
<DeathStar> *As they near the EarthGov building, the rioters there seem to be trying to get into the wrecked building and seem even more crazed with anger and hatred, giving off waves of it that's unnatural to those with psionic abilities*
<DeathStar> *there seem to be Cheryl looking Dragoons trying to keep them away, using strange abilities that the Prime Dragoons don't possess*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "These people are downright feral..."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Almost insane
<Sara> <Kaori> It's worse than a midnight release party...
<Seraphna> Thena> Dirty tactics!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We need to get in, though the building's defenders are clearly on full alert."
<Sara> <Kaori> Should we look for a way around?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Taiga, cna you get any readings from here?"
<DeathStar> *Haruki flies up into the air and begins to use some strange powers to quell the crowd, glowing with Illium like powers and they drop. She and the Dragoons gather up the bodies and pile them up in what seems to be a rather large pile. As Haruki kneels, looking like the process is draining her, in the distance more are slowly coming*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "What could have made the people *this* angry?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Hm. I--- *She eyes her device as it beeps
<DeathStar> <Taiga> One moment
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Perhaps an outside influence..." *looks over at taiga*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Is the entire city mad?
<Seraphna> Thena> These people need Mew Mew Kitty Love.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It's the pirates. If my device is working, they just entered the reality
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Are you serious?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Have a fix on them?"
<Seraphna> **Thena puts on her pirate hat** Yar har!
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They're somewhere in the city. There must be something here they want
<Sara> <Kaori> Thena is always serious... her version of serious...

<Alicia> <Charlotte> "It'll take more than a song to snap them out of this... but I guess Athena has her Idol Machine. Would even that be enough?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well your field commander Noire. As I see it, we can talk to the Arcana Dragoons and see if we can lend a hand here. Or we can try to find the pirates.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But something tells me it'll probably be hand in hand
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We can't worry about that now. Mission profile needs to adapt. We've got rival factions on the ground. We should contact and alert the locals."

<Seraphna> Si> I think she’s agreeing with Noire.

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Anyway, come on." *starts marching toward the EartGov building hands up to show non-hostility*

<DeathStar> *Haruki rises. Behind her Haru has her hands folded, looking more the part of a maid though she clearly is fighting* <Haruki> ... I remember you guys. *She is propped against a wall, definitely looking like Cheryl outside slight differences*

<Sara> * Kaori tilts head
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We arrived here to find that everything was in chaos, not at all what we expected."

<DeathStar> <Haru> We sent a call for help but it was cut off and no one came. <Haruki> Something blocked transmissions out. Someone didn't want you to come

<DeathStar> <Taiga> *eyes the two, finding it weird to see Dragoons that look like her mother with varying degrees of likeness. Gemi eyes Thena, studying her and does a scan to check her sanity*

<DeathStar> <Gemi> We have noticed the citizens display a variety of rage, anger, and madness. You may wish to watch this one.

<Jackieness> <Noire> "What drew us here was actually encountering someone from this reality in our own. He attacked one of our leaders."

<Jackieness> <Noire> "We don't know when he crossed over, just that it was a while ago."
<DeathStar> <Haru> Thought he was dead. Been years. <Haruki> We haven't seem him since the Illium Wars or even before that.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "So, he probably wasn't affected by the recent madness..."
<DeathStar> <Haru> Maybe. Hard to believe it's not unrelated.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I would've said it was a given until that."
<DeathStar> *They lead the group into the EarthGov facility where even with the rioting, their technology is impressive since they use Illium and EarthGov tech combined, and Illium technology is essentially future PAX tech*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, somethign certainly set him off. He became obssessed with preventing the rise of the Illium in our reality."
<DeathStar> *there's areas of the building that is damaged from an attack, where walls have been caved in, but it's clearly repairing itself like the PAX
<Alicia> * Charlotte observes the tech, obviously impressed
<DeathStar> <Ren> I know if Adeline could she'd be trying to get her hands on this
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "That's because she's smart."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Right. There is soemthing else. After our arrival, we detected an incursion by raiders from another reality."
<Alicia> * Charlotte tries to get surreptitious scans as she continues.
<DeathStar> <Haruki> We could bring him back here if you want. <Taiga> We could ship him here if you want him; we also were going to ask your Katrina to take a look. <Haruki> With everything in a state of disarray, it'll be up to Aya until things are worked out. The people out there won't quit throwing themselves at this building
<Seraphna> Thena> Pirates. But not good and honest Dread Pirates.

<DeathStar> *As they arrive in the older Aya's office, she seems to be fielding calls from various people dealing with the rioters. Aya glances up and spots them, then tells them to pause a moment* <Aya> Welcome. I take it you're here to help?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We encountered counterparts form another reality led by a counterpart of Adeline. They have been stealing ships and other advanced technology from whatever relaities they visit."
<DeathStar> *Taiga is listening to a transmission from someone* <Gemi> Reality Raiders. Will the world ever cease to amaze.
<Sara> <Kaori> They're like pirates, even
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I don't know if this is a good or bad time for them. The rioters are going to cause problems for everyone, but that also means we have our hands full stopping them."
<Sara> * She eyes Thena

<Alicia> <Charlotte> "What happened to Red in your world?"
<Seraphna> Thena> Dread Pirate, it’s okay.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Are there any other caches of Illium technology outside this building?"
<DeathStar> <Aya> Illium technology is infused with a lot of this world's technology, technically
<DeathStar> <Aya> Even in minute ways
<DeathStar> <Haru> *looks up Red and shows it to Charlotte*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Hard to say what they might hit...ships maybe?"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Been keeping on the low down recently, I guess. Given the situation, that's pretty smart too."
<Sara> <Kaori> Yeah...
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I think I know what they might want
<DeathStar> *Taiga turns to Noire*
<DeathStar> <Haruki> And that is?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What have you got, Taiga?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The ressurection machine that brings back the person using Illium tech
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Either way, even if they don't want it, it's a big target for the looters
<Jackieness> <Noire> "That would be a pain if they got that..."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Yeah, that..."
<DeathStar> <Aya> We have it on lockdown in the facility here
<DeathStar> <Aya> Along with main ship
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So here? This will be their main target."
<DeathStar> <Haruki> I'd welcome them to try. <Gemi> ... *eyes a silent alarm and the ARcana walk off to check it out*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Oh yeah, this is 100% their target then."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Following their previous pattern, your main ship will be the primary target with the ressurection machinery as secondary."
<DeathStar> <Aya> Understood. *has the Arcana focus their power on protecting the ship*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I would say that the ressurection machine might be their primary for once, but it hardly matters. They'll be after both now."
<DeathStar> <Ren> So, what should we focus on?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Right, with both of them here. Taiga, give them everythign you have about the raider tactics and capabilities with regard to comandeering ships. We'll assist with the defense of the ressurection machinery,."
<DeathStar> *Taiga nods and sits with Aya to begin giving them what she needS*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I wonder if I could ressurrect lunch to eat it again
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "No."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Drat
<DeathStar> *A smaller looking Arcana Dragoon appears* Um, hello. This way please.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods and follows*
<DeathStar> *She motions. She seems to have platnium blonde hair and looks less threatening than the bigger ones*
<DeathStar> *she begins to move through the maze of hallways, wearing an EarthGov uniform with a name tag that she purposely hides with stickers*
<DeathStar> *Ren walks along, the sounds of the rioters outside trying to bust in again can be heard hitting the shields <Ren> Damn that must get annoying
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Yeah, but what are we going to do? Unrioter the rioters?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...they must be throwing their bodies against the shields. Normally painful."
<Sara> <Kaori> They just seem like zombies at this point...
<DeathStar> <Ren> Maybe they are.
<DeathStar> *She wiggles fingers at Kaori*
<Sara> <Kaori> It's not a good thing!
<DeathStar> *the smaller Arcana Dragoon's face has paled at the mention of zombies, having stopped in her track. It looks almost comical due to looking like Cheryl, since Cheryl rarely panicksl ike this*
<DeathStar> <Arcana Dragoon?> Z-Zombies?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...are you okay?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ahem. Everyone out there is clealry alive. Mad and stupid, but alive."
<DeathStar> <Arcana Dragoon> A-Are they really zombies? Like really? She peers at Noire* O-Okay. S-Shew. Z-Zombie movies are te-terrifying.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I don't know if that makes it creepier or less creepy, but yeah. They're alive."
<DeathStar> *She slowly begins to resume her pace, jerking at each bang now and eyes the windows*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Focus on the task ahead."
<DeathStar> *The Arcana uses her name tag to unlock a room where a massive machine is revealed with lots of complicated components*
<DeathStar> <Arcana> H-Here is the ressurection machine
<DeathStar> <Ren> Should we stab Thena and test it?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Does everything look in order to you?"
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "We should not."
<DeathStar> *The Arcana nods when shadowy figure slips in behind them, lifting Kaori up* Thank you for letting us in. *more pirate goons appear and Kaori is slowly stuffed into a sack unless she fights it*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Eh?!
<Sara> <Kaori> H-Hey-- mmmmf!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Thena, now!"
<DeathStar> *the other Charlotte lifts Kaori over her shoulder*
<Seraphna> Thena> **Thena seeing this sends a TK punch at the figure while anothe tackles the bag**
<Alicia> * Charlotte sends tendrils after the other Charlotte
<Jackieness> <Noire> *lashes out at the pirates, actually stabbing at them with her tendrils*
<DeathStar> *The Other Charlotte grunts, swinging the bag to hit the other Thena and making her poof
<Seraphna> **Si leaps over the swinging bag with a drop kick**
<DeathStar> *The pirate goons grunt as they're stabbed, while the other Charlotte glows with her own powers, sending Si and the tendrils backwards with some sort of TK power*
<DeathStar> <Charlotte Alt> Lets try this on for size. *She TK flips and the machine activates with them all in it as she steps out, closing the door*
<Seraphna> **Thena grabs people to teleport out and directly on top of Alt Char**
<Alicia> * Charlotte tries to open the door by the the controls first, then wedging tendrils in between the gaps of the door if that fails
<DeathStar> *Thena would find that teleporting through the Illium walls while the machine is activate, including for all the others that she teleported as well, to be incredbily painful, but they all get through*
<DeathStar> <Ren> AAGH
<Seraphna> Si> Gahhh! G-Good job!?
<DeathStar> *The other Charlotte makes noise of surprise, rolling and leaving the Kaori bag behind as she gathers a weapon and stabs Thena in the shoulder, pinning her*
<Sara> * Kaori flails
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Grrrrr!" *forms her dark Edge and strikes out at Alt-Char*
<Seraphna> **Thena hisses**
<DeathStar> *Alt Char, having left her weapon in the floor, is hit - sent flying backwardS*
<DeathStar> <Alt Charlotte> ... ..*smoke bombs*
<Seraphna> **Si grumbles and snaps, lighting Alt Char on fire**
<Alicia> * Charlotte grabs the weapon before Alt Charlotte can
<DeathStar> *it seems to be a beautifully crafted rapier*
<DeathStar> *with a touch of poison on the end*
<Seraphna> **Thena yelps but is also freed, then starts trying to burn the poison out**
<DeathStar> *There is a smell of smoke in the air, maybe Si got lucky with her fire*
<DeathStar> <Ren> *Frees Kaori*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Why the hell did they try to steal Kaori?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves past their Charlotte and tries to press her attack on Alt!Char*
<Seraphna> Si> You know why.
<DeathStar> *The Arcana Dragoon tries to \stop the ressurection machine with live goons inside - that's bad. The goons can be heard flailing*
<DeathStar> **Noire tracks smoke through the hallways and Ren pulls Kaori along*
<Seraphna> **Si blinks and moves over to try and help turn it off**
<Alicia> * Charlotte backs up Noire
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...any sign?"
<Alicia> * Charlotte feels out for Alt-Charlotte
<DeathStar> <Arcana> Thanks. *They manage to shut it down and open the doors. The goons look like they were being horribly mangled with new flesh on top of their flesh and other stuff. Arcana gags*
<Alicia> * Even though it's unlikely to work, it's still worth a try
<Seraphna> Si> That’ll… probably take time to fix.
<DeathStar> <Ren> I can smell her burnt flesh. *she lets Charlotte tap into her senses to help hone in*
<Seraphna> Thena> Thena now glad she teleported.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...trying to grab our Kaori violates any ceasefire we had with them."
<Alicia> * Charlotte continues to hunt down her Alternative version
<DeathStar> *they arrive at the hanger area where the Dragoons are boredly waiting*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I don't see anyone
<DeathStar> <Haruki> Nothing happening here.
<DeathStar> *Ren still has a hand on KAori's*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We got hit at the ressurection machine. They went for Kaori, not the tech."
<Sara> <Kaori> Grabbing me is also sekuhara.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... I think she got away."
<DeathStar> <Ren> They clearly want you, Kaori
<Sara> <Kaori> But I'm taken...
<DeathStar> <Ren> Tell that to pirates
<Sara> <Kaori> *loudly* Pirates! I'M TAKEN!
<Seraphna> Thena> Can I kidnap you anyway? I have games.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well the ship is probably too guarded
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Pirates are known for taking what doesn't belong to them. It's kind of in the job description."
<DeathStar> <Ren> And we foiled taking Kaori
<DeathStar> <Ren> What is left?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Most of you, stay here with the dragoon detachment and Kaori. Charlotte, Thena, with me."
<DeathStar> *Ren nods and sits with Kaori at the ship*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Snack time
<Alicia> * Charlotte heads with Noire
<Seraphna> **Thena bounces over to Noire**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads back down the hall, marching back to the resurrection machine*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Think the retreat was a feint?"
<DeathStar> *as they approach, they findt he ARcana and Si on the ground*
<DeathStar> *The miserible goons left in it nowhere to be found*
<Seraphna> Thena> **bounces over and checks on them**
<Sara> * Kaori snacks
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks inside the resurrection machine*
<Alicia> * Charlotte waits outside, just in case
<DeathStar> *parts have been ripped out and it looks like it's been gutted - by pirates. But due to the design, it's probably weighing them down*
<Seraphna> **Thena tries waking the two**
<DeathStar> <Ren> *snacks* If they ever did get their hands on you, I wonder what they would have you do. Change reality to make more ships?
<DeathStar> *Si stirs and the ARcana sits up*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "They took important parts, didn't they?"
<Seraphna> Si> Anyone get the number of that donkey cart?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *comm* "The resurrection machine was hit, but they cna't be moving fast. Any signs on sensors?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga on comms> One moment, let me see
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I can't believe we fell for that..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Probably Adline's plan."
<DeathStar> <TAiga on comms> One of the side exits has a hit.
<DeathStar> *it appears on their maps*
<DeathStar> <Unmei the Arcana> I can lead you that way.
<Seraphna> Si> Sure.
<DeathStar> *Unmei sits up and begins to do down the hallways*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "LEt's move." *heads after*
<DeathStar> *Kaori would smell something slightly burnt. Probably the food*
<Seraphna> **Si and Thena follow**
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "It didn't have to be Adeline's... it's simple enough that I could have come up with it."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Perhaps so. Either way, we know what we need to do now."
<DeathStar> <Unmei> So you're the big bad?
<Sara> <Kaori> I think the food is burnt...
<DeathStar> *Ren leans in and sniffs* It doesn't look burnt.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "The alternate me, maybe."
<DeathStar> <Ren> But I smell it too
<Sara> <Kaori> Kind of a bad sign, right?
<DeathStar> *up ahead is the exit, the door slightly ajar*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "pauses and peeks through the crack in the door"
<Jackieness> **
<DeathStar> <Ren> Yeah, *She looks around. They seem to be sitting on extended ramp like object, that extends outward toward the massive ship where people could be lurking under them, but it's quite the fall down by a lot of feet, where the mechanics work down there, and up above is a dome to open up for the ship to fly up. Ren peers down, seeing no one*
<Sara> <Kaori> Hmm...
<DeathStar> *As Noire gets up to the door, a trip wire goes off and blows her back and the door*
<Seraphna> **Si cancels the fire of the blast**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Nnnnnn...bastards. Good work, Si."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "They're definitely working together on this one."
<DeathStar> *outside the now blown door are personal sized mechs holding the parts, flying up toward one of the many PAXes*
<DeathStar> *a sack flies up out of the darkness to nab Kaori*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Sack!
<Seraphna> **Si muses and snaps her fingers, flaring one of the mech’s thrusters**
<DeathStar> *it stutters and slows down*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *sends her tendrils out to try to snatch the parts away*
<Seraphna> **Si then leaps up and self initiates her transformation, sending a flame blast at another as she flies up**
<Alicia> * Charlotte sends The Hands
<Sara> * Kaori burns the sack
<Sara> <Kaori> I'm not for nabbing!
<Seraphna> **Thena creates motes to fire at mechs**
<DeathStar> *The pirate turns and eyes Noire then is crushed by Charlotte*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Thena, use hyperspac emotes to destroy the pilfered parts!"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Deny them their prize."
<Seraphna> **Thena nods and shifts her targets, blasting at the parts**
<DeathStar> *the pirates begin to dodge Thena and some get into the PAX. The PAX turns and begins to fire back at the team - and by fire, I mean a giant blast of hyperspace is now flying down at them*
<DeathStar> *Charlotte flies up and lands by Kaori and Ren. She kicks Ren off the edge and tK grabs at Kaori*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Thena, cna you do something?!"
<Seraphna> **Thena grabs people to teleport out of the blast while Si in the air evades**
<Alicia> * Charlotte darksteps over to rescue Ren, looking pissed off at her alternate
<DeathStar> *Ren hugs on Charlotte* Hi there
<DeathStar> *Taiga arrives outside after a giant hole is left in the ground*
<Seraphna> **Si lands by Taiga and opens up for her**
<DeathStar> *Taiga joins Si*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *forms a dark matter singularity and lobs it at one of the trailing mecha*
<DeathStar> *Noire clips it*
<Seraphna> **Si then blasts towards a straggler**
<DeathStar> *Taiga and Si manage to finish off Noire's straggler*
<DeathStar> *A few of the parts are getting in, but they have finished off 2 parts*
<DeathStar> *Evil Char meanwhile holds Kaori by the collar, eyeing Charlotte*
<Seraphna> **Thena reaches out and crushes the arms of one of the mechs holding parts**
<DeathStar> <Evil Char> God, you piss me off.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *aims for another with a singularity ball*
<Sara> <Kaori> This is basically rape you know
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "The feeling's mutual."
<Sara> * Kaori glares threateningly
<DeathStar> <Evil Char> ... *eyes Kaori* You want to go there? Because I can go there.
<DeathStar> *she jerks Kaori like a rag doll*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Lets not go there. We know you're evil.
<DeathStar> *Noire slows down and damges another mech when a specialized Gear flies down*
<DeathStar> *it looks to be made of strange material that none of them have seen before*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "So, how much of that plan was your girlfriend's?"

<Jackieness> <Noire> *then lobs her own ball at the gear as it moves to hit Thena's attack. This ball looks odd with a seam along its middle*
<Seraphna> **Si redirects the fire she sent out to come at the mech from all directions as it moves**
<DeathStar> *The Gear seems to take the hit, but it does pause there. Taiga is scanning it* <Taiga on comms> It was able to withstand it by raising it's shields and protecting the hanger. I'd say the mechs outside are mostly toast though. They got about 70% in.

<DeathStar> *The Gear floats away from the hanger as the PAX's shields raise up now*

<Jackieness> <Noire> *stops the ball and then uses it to increase local mass like her classic dark matter trick*
<Alicia> * Charlotte attacks the Gear, aiming to rescue the other Ren

<Seraphna> **The other Thenas start taking up stations, one turning canons on the mech**
