<DeathStar> <Darien> Just us, though we been working with a few others like Zephyr on the case. If you have others of us from realities where we're almost identical in thought but circumstances are just different enough that they might do things more dangerously..

<Xanatos> 6* Xan steps into view on Erevis' side and takes a seat, he's wearing a t-shirt and shorts and not his normal pax jumpsuit.

<Xanatos> <Kane> I've been working on devices that one could wear that would alert the user if another reality signature is detected near. But it is tricky in both material supply is sparse and we have some friendly people from other realities that give false positives.

<ChadWinters`> We also have to hope they haven't devised a way to fool the scanners.

<ChadWinters`> It's fair to say that if we have a way to detect alternate reality signatures, they do also and have worked on a way to block or fool them. 6He crosses his arms. "Honestly, our best bet is psionics but that also would put the stress on them for knowing each person individually enough to sense the difference.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Right, right. *She eyes her papers, probably focusing on the paperwork* If you're wondering about them, for people who have been in the reality a certain amount of years - it takes awhile, you start to give a reality signature like our own. It usually takes a decade+
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But if you're looking hard Athena's original signature could be found maybe.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Focus.
<Xanatos> <Kane> I could fetch a stimulate if you need a quick boost?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Right. The Reality Pirates - we began to encounter them in other realities, moving around and stealing highly prized technology. Like other PAXes.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They clearly had a lot of tech already under their belt and they were taking whatever they could manage and they were under the command of the 25th Reality Adeline and Charlotte. We made a temporary truce not to go into each other's realities. But we kind of kept interfering with each other.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Especially when they went after the Alternate Reality's ressurection technology.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I think that was the final straw for them and they invaded our reality and they did it by going through Yggdrasil so I would not detect them
<Xanatos> <Xan> They're pretty vindictive in their theft too, when we first encountered them they had left behind a bunch of traps for the scraps remaining. No real reason to do that when you're leaving the reality after.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And they been here for months, going about which means they could have set up and done quit a lot.
<ChadWinters`> No. Not unless you're hiding something
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Oh, their Charlotte is quite vindictive I believe.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Their Adeline is a bit more calm, until she is pushed, then she begins to tap into her Spade programming but we didn't get to see what happens then
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "All of our Charlotte's worst traits magnified?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Lets just say when she tried to take Kaori until they found their own. When Kaori bit her and called her grabbing her "rape", she became very ... enraged.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Also they likely have Kaori's power and have locked her out of Yggdrasil
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Using this other Kaori
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> That's a bombshell to drop on us
<Xanatos> <Cole> If they have a reality altering person, why not just erase us completely and be done with it?
<Seraphna> **Angela frowns** Could they be doing other stuff to our reality that way?
* ChadWinters` rubs his face a bit. 1"Having a Kaori who knows how to use reality powers...well someone using reality powers in general is bad.

<ChadWinters`> I think...and this is just conjecture Cole, if they do that, they may draw attention from someone far more dangerous.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> And is not on that level. Plus, using a wide scale power like that would wipe their Kaori's power out
<Alicia> * Jikuu goes pale at Chad's last line
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The one time Kaori did a wide scale power move - moving the mirror universe - it wiped her power for years
<Xanatos> <Kane> She must have other plans for that ability.
<Seraphna> Angela> So they may just be making minor changes to their advantage.
<ChadWinters`> Most likely, Kane.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And finally
<ChadWinters`> Would it be possible, using Kaori's reality powers to expedite the reality signature adjusting time? 6He looks at Taiga
<DeathStar> *Taiga considers, holding her papers* IT might be possible yes. It'd be easier to do it to a one or tow people.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> That is disconcerting
<Seraphna> Angela> Which means they could have replaced one or two of our key people without us being able to tell.
<ChadWinters`> Then that would be their way of fooling us.
<DeathStar> <Blue> Not me.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Who would be the best targets to do it to then?
<DeathStar> *Adeline peers around the room*
<Seraphna> Angela> People highest in leadership I’d assume…
<ChadWinters`> Those in high power and sway and those who are on the bottom that are just seen but don't do much.

<Xanatos> 6* Xan raises his leg up to rest on his knee, leaning back.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> If I had to guess, she probably started right after we messed with them at the Alternate Reality. So they probably began. *She looks at her notes*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Early March. So from March until May.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Does any of this have anything to do with that snake thing? 6* he pulls a cup from out of frame and sips from it*
<Xanatos> <Xan> Could the power grab have anything to do with them wanting to gear up and defend themselves from that? Like have we tried just...talking?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> *makes a face* I doubt they would have anything to do with the Serpent Cult.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well that is what I wanted to address next
<DeathStar> <Taiga> What Noire learned from the prisoner Sasha.
<Xanatos> 6* Kane pauses in his note taking, and glances up to Adeline before looking to Taiga.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Apparently she is from Reality 37 where their Geyze was suffering from Kumen being destroyed by the Corporations and Geyze was having a lot of poisoning and other issues. The pirates showed up looking for tech and found some stuff, but the world was dying during their search
<Seraphna> **Jaime seems deep in thought** Well I know I’m me. But only because there’s something they aren’t going to try copying on me.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Apparently Adeline offered to use their tech to help reverse the damage and done to it in return for their help down the road and they agreed as long as they didn't have to kill anyone.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Hence why they took part in the kidnapping of Sasha, Selena, Liana, and Celes.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Are you sure?"
<ChadWinters`> Seem's like a smart trade.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I imagine that they probably have done a lot of deals along the way.
<Seraphna> Jaime> If only they knew the damage that political turmoil is creating.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I imagine they did not care as long as their Geyze lived.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> She also gave me a set of coordinates where her people were suppose to meet up. That might be where the Mew Mew might hav been taken. <Cheryl> Finally, why didn't you lead with that?

<Xanatos> <Xan> Surely the location is compromised by now?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I have to imagine we'll be walking into a trap.

<DeathStar> *Cheryl's Shuttle floats in space as it is joined by the Aquarius and one of the PAX Ships under Xanatos' control*
<DeathStar> *The asteroid looks like a normal asteroid*
<DeathStar> *Yuki sits on the Aquarius, complete with everyone from the Academy that wanted to come along. Celes leans over the railing, studying it, while Ben is at his seat*
<DeathStar> *while on Cheryl's shuttle, she is there with Adeline and Ren*
<ChadWinters`> *An Id floats on the Aquarius, observing
<Xanatos> <Pepper> So they had this big meeting and we weren't invited but now we're here doing something? Typical.

<Xanatos> <Kane> Their signature immediately vanished, whatever this asteroid ship is, it has ways to block or counteract scans.

<ChadWinters`> Let me the see whatever info you have on it? 6He looks over at Kane

<Seraphna> **Angela detaches a Beta to get in it’s wake and grumbles**
<DeathStar> *So far no one tries to board the Aquarius*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane shifts out of the seat for the scanner to let Chad take a look.

* ChadWinters` moves over to it and starts making adjustments.

<DeathStar> *as they make adjustments, they pick up the spirits in the asteroid*
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Should we....try to leave the ship and stop the kidnap?

<DeathStar> *The asteroid engines extend from the back of the asteroid and begin to prepare for hyperspace*
<ChadWinters`> Clever...6He narrows his eyes. "This helps explain how they're making it hard to detect them.

<Jackieness> <Airym> "We cannot just remain here and do nothing. We should attempt to sabotage their moobile base and rescue those who were taken."
<ChadWinters`> See if any ships can target their thrusters
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Do we have a lock on their drive system yet?"
<DeathStar> <Ben> With our power being drained, that will be hard
<Seraphna> **Angela has the Beta try to disable a thruster**
<DeathStar> *Angela scores a glancing blow*
<ChadWinters`> Taiga, Kane. That asteroid is coated with that material we discovered in the Unknown Region. The Dark One mineral.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... Really. *muses at that* I wonder if their Noire gave it to them
<Xanatos> 6* Xan's ship starts taking shots at the trusters too if he can keep in range.
<DeathStar> *their asteroid begins to shake, preparing to jump*
<Seraphna> Si> Can we use that?
<DeathStar> *Xanatos shots miss so far due to bad luck*

<Jackieness> <Airym> "Once we have detected their drive system, fire a barrage to disable them form within."
<Seraphna> **Angela bum rushes her beta into a thruster**

<DeathStar> *she fires and hits at the exact moment that I get a lucky jump roll; the ship jumps as a glancing blow from the Beta hits*

<Seraphna> Angela> In the meanwhile let’s hope the kids realize they can get out if their ship and screw with the asteroid.

<ChadWinters`> I'm worried that if they jump and we can't exit immediately afterwards, we're going to lose them.
