<DeathStar> <Taiga> The spaceports are closed down. Bringing the Striker in to leave will be problematic.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks ovr at 'Line'* "I'm sure our tour guide has something for us."
<Seraphna> Jaime> This is the one where Luci died a while back right?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Cuz that context is really big with recent developments there.

<Seraphna> Jaime> All this is sounding like me blowing her to Kingdom Come will make this much easier for us.

<DeathStar> <Line> These 5 towers are using the spirits. All we have to do is take out one of them - that will allow whatever spirit is inside to be freed and bring down this protection net somewhat.
<DeathStar> <Line> The confusion will allow us to take a shuttle up into space and allow those on this planet to perhaps do whatever it is they'll do - which will aid us as well
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... Jaime, which element would be most useful to the resistance."
<Seraphna> Jaime> I favor taking out Gnome's tower.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Of course."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "But which is most useful?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Jaime, I need you to think dispassionately."
<Seraphna> Jaime> People often underestimate Earth. It's everywhere. And we all depend on it. No matter how big this city is, it's built on rock and made of minerals.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "People often underestimate air and water too."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Its also the spirit that she can most effectively neitralize. She is holding Gaia and Terra both in the main tower."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Beyond that, Fire I imagine would be useful. Fire is pretty much the offensive choice. But when you're underground...
<Seraphna> Jaime> If there are only five towers though, they could be holding any of the wheel. Do we know what are in the others?

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Besides asking Kira or the like, we can try to ask around
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Right, we should probably go for whichever element they have the least of."
<DeathStar> <Ren> They might have the younger ones, like Fae.
<DeathStar> <Ren> But other than that, all the other spirits are like 10+ right?
<DeathStar> <Line> Doesn't mean one can't make them comply. "I have your parents."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So lets just assume Ymir might have any of them.
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and nods** Not to be biased, but the only ones I can sense out properly are going to be Earth, Fire and Darkness.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "In which case, we should just pick a tower and hit it hard and fast."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, Time too, but if she'd captured that one this world would be weirder than it already is.

<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Darkness gets underestimated a lot too."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I can't see Time or Darkness being a problem
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I would say go for Earth, given those three however."

<Seraphna> Jaime> We never do really interact with him much. Ice I'd at least know how to deal with the Twins.

<Seraphna> Jaime> I only get a faint sense of the others. I can tell you they're familiar and where they are.

<Jackieness> <Noire> "What is the closest spirit tower?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> We need easy and fast if she's here.
<DeathStar> *The patrol veers off, heading somewhere*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Right, don't bite off more than you can chew."
<Seraphna> Jaime> On the plus side, she is no doubt going to distract Ymir.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "OK, let's move. Target is the nearets spirit tower. When we hit tha target zone, bring it down as fast as we can."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "We need to be fast, and more subtle than her. Shouldn't be that tough."

<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads after Taiga*
<DeathStar> *Taiga plots a course, stepping out into the rain*
<Seraphna> **Jaime moves along**
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "One good thing about all this. We know we can lure her out now."
<DeathStar> *Ymir guards patrol the area still, but for the most part they don't bother the group unless they stop to do something suspicious. As they near the giant Spirit Tower, crackling with spirit energy, it towers over them like something out of a FF game. maintaining the spirit barrier. In the distance, the other 4 Spirit Towers can be seen with Macross HQ in the center.*

<DeathStar> <Ren> I'm just wondering if we should bug out
<DeathStar> <Ren> With you know who nearby
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks over at 'Line'* "Well, what do you think?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Can we bug out?
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I am sure we could..."
<DeathStar> <Line> It's up to you. She will kill my pirates here, take the ships, and maybe ally with this Ymir. But we could leave.
<DeathStar> <Ren> You know once we blow the Tower, she'll know our location

<DeathStar> <Adeline> *studies the tower, thinking*

<Jackieness> <Noire> "We press on then. What I learned when we went into Reality 25 is that Cheryl depends on her minions to sense out threats. Her range is very limited without someone to use as a psionic proxy."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "She's going to use that to try to gain leverage with Ymir, isn't she?" <Jikuu> "Yes."
<Seraphna> Jaime> How did she sense us out?
<DeathStar> <Line> She must have captured one of my men.
<DeathStar> <Line> Which means she might know all the realities we're going to
<Seraphna> Jaime> I guess we'd better be expedient then.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Then we need to be faster. TTaiga, what is our ETA?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime peers around the tower for an entrance or idea on what to do**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We're at the tower now.
<DeathStar> *she nods at it before them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Taiga... Adelines, how do we bring that thing down fast?"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Well, we'd have to break inside. I'd assume removing the spirit and leaving explosives would be the fastest way
<DeathStar> <Line> Lacking disguises, attempting to somehow teleport in would be the easiest, but I imagine spirit ports would be blocked.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "What about hyperspace?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I can try to open a shadow portal."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I give the hyperspace a 50/50 chance, the shadow portal might be more of a chance since it's lesser known
<Seraphna> Jaime> **muses** What about Foxholes?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *nods* "Then here we go..." *tries opening a shadow portal to the heart of the spiirt tower*
<DeathStar> <Ren> We foxes are too well loved, surely they would stop us
<DeathStar> *the shadow portal opens up*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Kitsune aren't exactly common occurences outside Earth.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Really? What is Kito?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...this way." *heads through*
<DeathStar> *She steps in*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Something like a genetic splice I believe? **she steps in**
<DeathStar> *the Adelines and Taiga follow; the group finds themselves in the tower where immediately, an army of guards turn and eye them. It seems they are inside a large walkway, that circles higher and higher, with more and more guards all the way up, with rooms all over the place, with something glowing way up top*
<DeathStar> <Guards> .... intruders!
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Ah shit
<DeathStar> <Ren> .... Whoa! *Grabs Charlotte's hand*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *sends her tendrils lashing out at the supports of the catwalks*
<Seraphna> **Jaime sighs, then waves a hand and grabs a guard, using him to barrel into other guards like a club**
<Seraphna> **With TK**
<DeathStar> *Noie sends the catwalks crashing down - many towards the team*
<DeathStar> *Ren forms into a dragon with Charlotte to fly upward*
<Seraphna> **Jaime drops the guard somewhere to grab at the catwalks with her TK instead**
<DeathStar> *Adeline grabs onto the Dragon*
<DeathStar> *Line and Taiga doing the same as Jaime clubs people*
<Seraphna> **Jaime grabs on, one hand out for the catwalks**
<DeathStar> *The alarms go off by now*
<DeathStar> *probably the guards way up top*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *grabs on with ehr tendrils*
<DeathStar> *guns firing down at them*
<DeathStar> *the strange laser beams piercing into Ren even in dragon form*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> What kind of weapons are those? We need to get up higher. There's just too many
<Seraphna> **Jaime forms two barrier of earth and holds them up ahead of them, adding the catwalks to them like a moving barrier**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Just... don't let me slip, this one's a challenge.
<DeathStar> *Something pings along the catwalks*
<DeathStar> *a grenade*
<Alicia> * Jikuu TK throws it back
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses, then sends the catwalks and grenade zooming up at the guards, helping Jikuu**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *tries to use her tendrils to keep Jaime from falling*
<DeathStar> *the grenades blow up several of the guards up above as Ren flies the dragon mech upward*
<DeathStar> *getting up toward the upper levels; the upper levels have a sealed doorway, with at least 10 guards firing from not a catwalk but a stable platform that one cannot yank*
<DeathStar> *more grenades come tossing down*
<Seraphna> **Jaime helps send those back at them, why yank a platform when they're providing ammo**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We should try to retrieve some explosives
<Alicia> * Jikuu continues her throwing back of grenades
<Jackieness> <Noire> *raises a hand and tosses a dark matter singularity upward*
<DeathStar> *The two get perfect throws and blow them all up*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Never mind
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "If we needed them now, we could use these grenades, but I cannot save them."
<DeathStar> *they reach the top and Ren seperates from Charlotte*
<DeathStar> *Ren uses her tails to cover herself*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I imagine what we seek is through that door.
<Seraphna> Jaime> We are Progenitors. We are our own grenades.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *goes to try the door*
<DeathStar> *The door is sealed due to the lock down*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Sealed."
<DeathStar> *meanwhile, all the way down at the very bottom, something busts in and stares up at them; Ymir and Cheryl*
<DeathStar> *Line peers down*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Jaime, breach it."
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods and starts burning through it**
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "We have come this far." *helps*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Adeline, if you need to, remember the gun.
<DeathStar> *the hyperspace begins to burn through; causing two guns to lower and begin to blast Jaime and Jikuu*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses her tendrils to try to lasso one gun and turn it agaisnt the other*
<DeathStar> *They blast each other*
<Alicia> * Charlotte ties up the shooters with tendrils.
<DeathStar> <Ren> That'll handle them
<Seraphna> Jaime> You may need to stall Karen 1 and Karen 2.
<DeathStar> *as the door melts and reveals Gnome*
<DeathStar> *in a crystal like object, hooked up to the entire tower*
<Jackieness> <Noire> /noi "Jaime, help her/
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Jaime, help her."
<DeathStar> *Ren looks over and sees Cheryl is already nearly at them; Ymir is floating up after*
<DeathStar> <Ren> We're out of time
<Seraphna> **Jaime reaches out and begins to free her, careful of the device, recognizing the foul thing for what it is** This shit again.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Looks like Ymir kept some of it
<Seraphna> Jaime> You take my wife, you take my daughter... and you dare to touch this technology. **if words could somehow be red, hers are**
<DeathStar> *Line and Adeline prepare themselves as Gnome is freed.* <Taiga> We need to destroy this tower or it means little
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Something about how that last one is in the list..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *charges up a dark matter singularity and tosses it out at the approach to try to buy some time*
<DeathStar> *Cheryl reaches their location, with Ymir. Suddenly Adeline shoots Cheryl with hyperspace bullets, catching her off guard*
<DeathStar> *and knocking her over the edge*
<Seraphna> **Jaime joins her power with Gnome's, then starts sending parts of the tower at Cheryl and Ymir, literally beginning to tear the tower apart**
<DeathStar> *Ymir follows due to Noire*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Blow up? No, she can eat this this tower bar by bar.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Jaime, we need speed, not satisfaction!"
<DeathStar> *Ymir taps a button as her mech like device rights itself.* <Ymir> .... *The tower begins to attack Jaime and Gnome, using spirit power*
<DeathStar> <Gnome> ARGH
<Jackieness> <Noire> "If we don't bring it down now, we lose!"
<Alicia> * Jikuu just goes to make the tower explode. "Jaime, get ready to leave."
<DeathStar> <Ymir> You think you can use your power in this place?
<Seraphna> **Jaime growls and pushes her energy outwards with Hyperspace**
<Seraphna> Jaime> You forget I've got more than Spirit you bitch.
<DeathStar> *Adeline begins to fire hyperspace shells down at the two*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Aim at what held them. Jikuu
<DeathStar> *referring to the center*
<Alicia> * Jikuu nods and obeys
<Jackieness> <Noire> *sends more dark matter balls down the center of the tower*
<DeathStar> *Cheryl growls and appears behind Noire, reaching to grab her hands* <Cheryl> Lets get rid of these
<Seraphna> **Jaime hurtles a hyper infused steel bar at Cheryl's head**
<DeathStar> *Cheryl falls over with the bar in her head, falling over the edge as Jikuu begins to cause a chain reaction in the tower*
<DeathStar> <Line> It is time to go. <Adeline> Agreed.
<Alicia> * Charlotte launches tendrils at Cheryl, before pulling out a gun of her own and firing at her. "Lets get rid of this instead."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Foxhole, now!"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Shadow port.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Or that.
<DeathStar> *Ymir grabs Cheryl as she falls and flies out*
<DeathStar> *Ren opens one up*
<DeathStar> *And leaps out*
<Seraphna> **Jaime tries as she waits to focus on Ymir, then pinches at her nekc with TK**
<Jackieness> <Noire> *dashes through the foxhole*
<Seraphna> **Jaime then leaps in with Gnome**
<Alicia> * CHarlotte follows Ren and Noire out, Jikuu following up as people leave
<DeathStar> *Jaime pinches a bit of her suit,but fails*
<DeathStar> <Ren> *eyes the tower beginning to blow up more* That's going to be a big blast zone. *it is and sends them tumbling, knocking over buildings near it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *lands* "Nnnnnn...is the shield down?!"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Good... riddance. How is the field? Can the other spirits get out?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> No. We'd need to take out another 2 at least. But we'v caused chaos.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We can get to the space port and leave.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Right... quickest route."
<Seraphna> Jaime> I guess we take what we can. **She looks to Gnome** Any chance we can pull your Terra out of this? Or will we need to come back?
<DeathStar> <Gnome> *Studies Jaime, looking confused, then snaps to attention* I'll get Terra. Right.
<DeathStar> *Gnome moves to stand up* <Ren> Jaime. We need to go now. *As Taiga has mapped it out.* That other Cheryl will be recovering any moment now
<Seraphna> Jaime> She'll have traps for you.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Let's move."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "What a shame."
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods, moving with them**
<DeathStar> *Gnome watches them go, then sinks into the ground*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Be careful dear...
<DeathStar> *As they arrive in the space port, it's cleared of guards outside a small force*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Okay, I'm going to bring the Striker in
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Should be easy to sneak through."
<DeathStar> *she inputs the coordinates and the Striker appears behind the guards*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Team... plow right through them."
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Or we can just power through. That works too."
<DeathStar> <Line> Char would appprove
<DeathStar> *She walks out, her eyes glowing as she begins to TK throw guards*
<DeathStar> *calculating the least amount of energy to deal with them*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We don't have the luxury of time now that the striker has been dropped on to the scene." *dashes forward, using her tendrils to knocks the guards out of the way*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I like the stealthy approach, but..." *launches tendrils at the guards*
<DeathStar> *Taiga hurries and powers up the ship*
<Alicia> * Jikuu teleports over, punching guards to keep them distracted, before teleporting to the ship
<Jackieness> <Noire> *boards* "Plot our course. Get ready to get us our of here as soon as everyon is on board."
<DeathStar> *Line does so and they take off. Ren grabs a nnew outfit as they go into space*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, this place is officially unsafe now, but that just means our path is clear."
<Seraphna> **Jaime breathes, still recoverring from the effort of using so much at once**
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Well, hopefully Ymir never becomes that Ymir
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We dmeonstrated that Ymir is not invincible. Now we need to do the same for this corrupted Cheryl."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I feel like we did that for Cheryl too."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Next time I'll make the metal bar in her head explode.
<Seraphna> Jaime> See how she recovers without a brain.
<DeathStar> *as they meet with the PAXes, they send the coordinates in their reality where they have been doing so to meet with the other pirates and to proteect them from Cheryl, before returning to Asteroid C*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Okay, good job everyone; get some rst, then we'll go after the last 2.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...yes."
<Seraphna> Jaime> We need to figure out who her spy is.
<DeathStar> <Line> Right. Only people who were close to me where Char and Noire, and Noire is dead.

<DeathStar> <Line> My Noire can replicate herself in others. I suppose it's like your "absorbing". She just let you absorb her so she told do it back to you.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Considering what you had to do to keep your Mom alive, Noire, I doubt she considered there might be a fully powered Andrea in this reality.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Some way of detecting people communicating to her would be useful.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Though not much spying she could do from a jar in my mother's closet."

<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** Dark One would be fun to see how Cheryl 25 deals with it. I'd prefer to save Michi's reality if we can hope to avoid her coming at them.
