<DeathStar> <Ren> Not a lot to do while we wait for Mom to get things ready for the Mirror Universe trip. Apparently it's taking her awhile to get the reality gate aligned for it and make sure the Strikers ship is safe for travel.
<Alicia> * Charlotte looks over. "Yes, but we all are."
<DeathStar> *She hides a snack in the room for Akatsuki to find*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Takign a while? Is somethign wrong?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Apparently she's having Tora help out - something about the Mirror Universe being dangerous. Case files said there were things there that were like Death Spirits - not like Shin but ... Anti Spirits?
<DeathStar> <Ren> Anyway, they shouldn't bother us but just to be safe she's being careful

<DeathStar> <Ren> Asarar mentioned ghosts and hauntings there, so I looked it up!

<DeathStar> *Ren slaps the case file down and shows what looks to be a massive castle*
<Seraphna> Jaime> A castle on Kumen?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Isn't that a little old fashioned for Kumen?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Creepy huh? Apparently it's in what used to be the center area. I think it might have been uncovered after all the destruction that it's seen lately. It might get torn down soon with Ymir building her new HQ so we should go check it out now

<Seraphna> Jaime> Unless she transposes the castle to the top in order to alleviate a curse.

<DeathStar> *The group arrives on Kumen, where they meet up with Asarar, who seems to have given up cigs for gum, due ot her chest wound*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> You're looking for what?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "You mean there isn't a weird castle?"
<DeathStar> *she walks along, guiding them to the central area of Kumen, passing guards Ymir has set up*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I've never heard of a castle in the ghost stories. Heard of the golden werewolf.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Popular legend that."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "More rpecisely, did they find anything while digging up the ruins of Ymir's building?"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Well, Ymir's Macross is being moved from the upper levels down to the center area where Tora's CorSec used to be. It used to rise up from the bottom slums all the way up to the top levels and it covered up the Net and other secrets apparently. It was a massive building Corporation and designed to hide a lot of things.
<DeathStar> *As they arrive, they can see Ymir has begun to build on the lower levels, probably planning to build all the way up to the higher levels*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hm, so this Castle could be hidden anywhere in the center.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Maybe all the way to the bottom."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...a hidden castle."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I mean, the center of Kumen covered a lot of space. And it covered multiple levels. Though I would assume someone would have seen it on the middle or top level
<DeathStar> *Ren slides down to the base where the construction is occuring*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Lets see if we can go to the sub-basement like Noire suggested
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And a castle implies a certain...mmmm....antiquity."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I mean, who would even build a castle on Kumen.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... archaeology and spooky castles. If this is upside down, I want a whip."
<DeathStar> *they reach the construction of Ymir's Macross HQ, Ren hmmm's and holds out her hands* Here, take my hand*

<DeathStar> *Ren eyes the floor plans for the Macross construction, then focuses, warping them down as Adeline touches her head and Asarar her back; they appear below the sub-basement where the second-subasement is still be constructed and the massive destruction of what was Tora's area has been cleared out. The tunnels are open now and it looks like Tora had a lot of space down here for stuff once upon a time. It's almost spooky down here as Ren forms foxfire and moves away from Ymir's construction into the caves*

<DeathStar> <Ren> Oh, there was like a drawing of it and notes about it in this location. Well, in the center of the city. I thought it was among your stuff, Asarar. <Asarar> What? No.

<DeathStar> *the drawing of the castle looks very old - even the paper looks old*
<DeathStar> *And the notes written about it - the handwriting looks familiar, but the odd thing about the paper is that it too looks old*

<DeathStar> <Adeline> I can try to anaylze the paper and handwriting while we go to the castle
<Alicia> * Charlotte tries to identify the handwriting, and also tries to date the paper

<DeathStar> *due to the yellowing of the paper, at a glance, it's quite old, and it's someone who likes to use paper*
<DeathStar> *Adeline begins to scan it while Ren approaches and eyes the drawbridge*

<DeathStar> <Asarar> ... *looks around; they seem to be in a lobby with stairs going up, covered in cobwebs and three doorways going elsewhere8

<DeathStar> *Ren tries the next room* Oh, a massive study and library. The books have seen better days
<DeathStar> *Adeline walks inside and eyes the titles* It looks to be a massive library of books from Earth
<DeathStar> *the library is covered in dust and cobwebs*

<Alicia> <Charlotte> "From Earth? That's surprising." *looks through the books*
<DeathStar> *they seem to be classics. All dating up to when Earth was evacuated in the Mirror Universe*
<DeathStar> *in the corner, though, there seems to be a coffin of sorts*
<Seraphna> Luci> So this from the reality merge?

<DeathStar> *As they move to the next room, there seems to be priceless Earth artifacts laying in cases. It looks like a museum almost. Many of them having legendary "curses" on them for disturbing them back on their Earth, just sitting about in this room*
<DeathStar> *Ren pauses* Y-You want me to go back and close it?
<DeathStar> *Asarar eyes all the treasure in this room*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Luci... we're going to be rich
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... I will... oh no, is someone going to fall for the trap?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...why didn't you clsoe it before we leave? At any rate, no splitting up."
<Seraphna> Luci> Long as this stuff ain’t claimed by one of those vampire things. They’re pretty nasty when angry on Geyze.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... actually, I'm not going to go back and close the coffin. I just know someone's going to grab treasure, activate a trap, and then I'll be in trouble, if I do."

<DeathStar> *The Mummy trips against the stairs; there they find Adeline and Luci checking bedrooms

<DeathStar> <Adeline> This place is huge. *They find a locked door and Ren kicks it open, finding an ancient labatory with a skylight and what looks to be a creaure hooked up to electricity. IT almost looks like a human/machine with electricity running directly into it. But being deep underground, where would the bolts come from?
<DeathStar> *the rod to catch the bolts seems to go high up*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... alright. Watch out for Frankenstein's monster, and probably werewolves too..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...this is the setting from Frankenstein's monster..."

<DeathStar> *Adeline studies the equipment* This looks ancient. Like early Kumen tech
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** Remember, the monster was actually kind.

<DeathStar> *she turns to them* The early models were very rudamentary in that defination. It wasn't until Mark VIII and up that they could even do anything approaching the like of having say sex. They were more akin to robots
<DeathStar> <Adeline> And very rudamentary robots. I think we're looking at a Mark I
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Fits with the story. I'd say so too."

<DeathStar> *She moves to the next room, where lit candles flicker; the rest of the castle has been running on lit candles this entire time*

<DeathStar> <Ren> Outside that one room which ahd power, the rest of the castle uses candles

<Alicia> * Charlotte checks if the candles are actually candles or electric.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Right. So someone had to light them
<DeathStar> *they are true candles*
<DeathStar> *As they move along, the smell of blood hits them*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...of course there's a vampire too."
<DeathStar> *Charlotte steps into something sticky*
<DeathStar> *While the others hear crunching*
<Alicia> * Charlotte checks, expecting a puddle of blood.
<DeathStar> <Ren> *ears perk up while Charlotte sees blood coming from the Mummy*
<DeathStar> *As the werebeast is munching on the leg still*

<Seraphna> **Jaime tilts her head, Luci sighs and knocks the wolf away with a shield, then puts her stablizer on the mummy**

<Alicia> * CHarlotte deflects it with tendrils. "SIT!"
<DeathStar> *Asarar aims her weapon but Charlotte beats her*

<DeathStar> *Adeline kneels* Well then. How did someone get wrapped up in some many bandages?
