<DeathStar> *Ren has gotten the entire team rooms at a ship docked at port that serves as a hotel; it looks ancient, as if it has been around for hundreds of years and despite upkeep, and looks like it's partially slumped into the waters. But it's clear as they go in it has a beautiful look to it as they are shown to their room*
<DeathStar> *Adeline is looking up information on the ship as she tosses some luggage on the bed*
<Seraphna> **Jaime flops next to the luggage**
<DeathStar> <Adeline> This vacation is one of her traps, I know it
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Her?"
<DeathStar> *Adeline points at Ren*
<DeathStar> *who is busy examining the room; her ears perking up*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm... bet this place is supposed to be haunted."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "What, you think it's haunted by the ghosts of the crew of the Yamato or something?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "More like the ghosts of the Queen Mary."

<Seraphna> Jaime> Wait she was right?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...are you kidding me?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> You know how pricey it is due to it's age?
<DeathStar> *Adeline begins to look up the Queen Mary*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I got us the most haunted room!
<DeathStar> *Ren beams*
<Seraphna> Jaime> …Are we undercharging for rooms on the PAX?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Of course, you did."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Actually, I got us the entire ship
<DeathStar> <Ren> For the night
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...oh."
<DeathStar> *Adeline facepalms*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Which is the least haunted room that has the most bed space? Adeline and I will scout it out.
<DeathStar> <Ren> *hands the guide*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Ah love, here we go.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *adjusts her glasses* "Well, I am going to look around."
<DeathStar> *Adeline moes with Jaime while Ren wags her tail* What do you want to, Char?
<DeathStar> *Ren decks out Akatsuki in ghost hunting gear*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *steps out of the room to go explore*
<DeathStar> *the ship has a lovely style, despite being ancient at this point; creaks and groans can occassionally be heard.*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I’m almost certain spaceships shouldn’t creek.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> .... *pats Jaime*
<Seraphna> Jaime> That’s a wood noise!
<DeathStar> <Adeline> We are over water dear
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "What's wrong with there being wood inside a spaceship?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Water ships are weird.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> My fear is this thing sinking, but a least we can all warp out
<DeathStar> *as Noire wanders, she sees another passanger; but didn't Ren say she bought this only for them?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm?" *moves to follow*
<Seraphna> Jaime> You can swim right?
<DeathStar> *the others meanwhile sees the sheets moving with Akatsuki on it; they're pulled so hard, she comically is yanked off*
<DeathStar> *Ren blinks, while Noire sees the passenger go into the dance floor of the ship, standing there*
<Alicia> * Akatsuki glares at the sheets for dislodging her
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "You better say sorry!"
<Jackieness> <Noire> *walks out on to the dancefloor*
<DeathStar> *surprisingly the ghost remains*
<DeathStar> *Ren picks up Akatsuki* I'm sure the ghost is---*the group sees a man at the foot of the bed, staring at them creepily - especially Akatsuki*
<DeathStar> *Ren yelps and runs out of the room with her*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "MMmmm... well? Going to do anything?"
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... I think it's explore time
<DeathStar> *the ghost turns toward Noire slowly, once acknowledged, then fades away*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Stay away from my daughter!"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... well... just a minor manifestation."
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods** I suppose so.
<DeathStar> *the ghost in the room fades as well, properly chided*
<DeathStar> *As Ren and Adeline move, they bump into Noire*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Nooooire. The ghost tries to peep on Aka
<DeathStar> *She holds her out*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmmm?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Peeper Ghost
<Alicia> * Charlotte heads out after Ren
<DeathStar> <Adeline> We should stick to--- *There's a sweeping sound down the hall*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Each other?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, you should do soemthign about it..."
<DeathStar> *Ren turns on Akatsuki's ghost light on her helmet and moves along, holding the guide*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *then heads off in her own direction*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> The ghosts will no doubt take over her body later
<DeathStar> *She follows Ren*
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> *eyes Adeline*
<DeathStar> *Ren leads them to a room on the guide marked the swimming pool, though it long looks closed down. Once there, those with her would see a woman in a tennis outfit, playing with a ball*
<DeathStar> *while Noire soon finds her way into the boiler area, seeing a ghost with a doll, giving her a look as if she can see Noire*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, they're having fun."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> How are there so many ghosts in one spot?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> This feels unnatural, even if they're doing nothing
<Jackieness> <Noire> *stares back*
<DeathStar> *Noire suddenly finds herself near one of the hatches*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm?"
<DeathStar> *a ghost moves around the hatch door area, looking oblivious of her*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *just watches for now*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well, I guess these ghosts are fairly boring. ... Want to go back to the room and relax?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "As long as the creepy ghost doesn't stare at Aka, that's fine."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *becomes bored and starts walking back to the more public parts of the ship*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Hmm. Yeah let’s head back.
<DeathStar> *hatch 13 suddenly moves to crush her*
<DeathStar> *just like the poor ghost*
<DeathStar> *While the others return to their rooms*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *uses her tendrils to try to prevent being crushed*
<DeathStar> *the hatch is stopped and suddenly it all returns to normal*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *brushes herself off and then leaves the engineering area*
<DeathStar> *the sheets have been properly fixed for the others as they return and Ren puts Akatsuki on the bed*
<DeathStar> *fiddling with the Holovid and turns it on*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Did you catch good footage, Aka?
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "I caught the tennis ghost!"
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "And creepy man."
<DeathStar> <Ren> That's good, we'll add it to the collection
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I imagine right now Noire has been possessed by a ghost
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Then again, Jaime might be too
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads up to the deck*
<DeathStar> *the deck is surprisingly peaceful and no ghosts with dolls counter attack. The Queen Mary seems almost serene at night with no passengers.*
<DeathStar> *until a fire alarm is pulled and the boat seems to have tilted a bit*
<DeathStar> *Ren pauses, having been watching the footage*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...bakana..."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "What's going on?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> I have no idea. *She gathers their stuff and steps out into the hallway*
<DeathStar> *Adeline exits their room, minus Jaime*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Have you seen Jaime or Noire?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Nope."
<DeathStar> <Ren> One of them had to have pulled the alarm - unless a ghost did. *the ship wobbles more than usual*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Are we... sinking?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I think Ren is going to be in trouble
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Oh no. Please tell me this ship didn't sink under mysterious circumstances."
<DeathStar> *Ren puts Akatsuki on her head* Come on, lets head up top
<DeathStar> *she heads up to the deck with Adeline following*
<Alicia> * Charlotte also follows
<DeathStar> *As they reach the deck, the group finds Noire and Jaime on top; Jaime holding a doll in her hand and Noire mumbling*
<DeathStar> *something with the b word or something*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ah, there you are. The supports are deteriorating due to deferred maintenance."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...seriously..."
<DeathStar> <Jaime> We should... go
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... *deadpans a little*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Ah.... right. The docks are over here.
<DeathStar> *Ren carefully circles the two*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm? Well, its not like the Queen Mary ever sank in its service life."
<DeathStar> *headed over to the docks8
<DeathStar> *Adeline whispers to Charlotte*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves to walk back on to shore* "I suppose I should call the authorities and tell them of their problems..."
<DeathStar> *Ren nods, her ears twitching as Adeline walks slowly with Charlotte
<DeathStar> *Jaime moves to step onto the dock*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "What sort of people don't properly take care of their ship... anyway, Jaime needs some rest."
<DeathStar> *Adeline begins to mentally do something and Jaime jerks*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> This will take but a moment.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...alright, Adeline's got it."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm?"
<DeathStar> *she keeps Jaime from stepping onto the dock, who begins to thrash*
<DeathStar> <Ren> *places Akatsuki onto the dock to keep her away*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> *gets a bad roll, and the ghost rises up and knocks Adeline back, retaking Jaime's body, holding her doll and moves to escape*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Ooh.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmmm...." *tries to lash up Jaime*
<Jackieness> *with tendrils*
<Alicia> * Charlotte tries to hold Jaime with TK
<DeathStar> *Jaime struggles against their combine might and Adeline resumes the mental attack*
<DeathStar> *The ghost girl is forced out and the doll in Jaime's hand vanishes*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I shall teach her not to pick up strange, cursed objects.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Must be the ghost child I saw in engineering."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> We should come back later and get rid of it
<DeathStar> *As she says that, their Striker watches beep*
<DeathStar> <Ren> .... this time of night?
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Probably urgent." *checks*
<DeathStar> *Adeline picks up Jaime, checking her over for curses*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...Taiga?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga's face appears* I might have a lead on the Illium Overlords. When you have a moment, can you all stop by?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Very well. After we've taken Jaime home."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I will do that and join you
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Would Akatsuki like to come with me?
<Alicia> <Akatsuki> "Okay!"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "The rest of us, back to Asteroid C."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Have fun, kiddo. Tell me if you find anything in those tapes.
<DeathStar> *Ren prepares the watches and they all warp out*
<DeathStar> -SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Asteroid C
<DeathStar> *Ren snacks on some food while Taiga has set up some stuff, sitting in her chair and adjusting her glasses*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> As you know, I been searching for realities where the Illium might have won the war with them. Which should at least be one
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Due to how the multiverse works - every major event has the other possibility spin out
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "How many have Venerator turn good?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> There might be an Oddverse with that, but that's not quite how it works. There might be a reality where Venerator's plot with the original PAX worked though
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... oof."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But either way, I have yet to find the reality where the Illiums won
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It's just like they're nowhere to be found in the map
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So I decided to get a little inventive.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Does that mean it was never a possibility?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I can't deny it, but when we won the war, there should have a reality we lost it. We came so close.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *She rolls her chair over to the map* That's why I decided to take this route to try to find it
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Using the Oddverse
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The Oddverse, as you've seen before, has realities form out of events really close to ours, but with strange... alterations
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And I found such an Oddverse. We'll use that Oddverse's information on the Illium to hopefully add the data to our Reality Map and locate the Overlords.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...like somehow being governed by dating sim rules..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Or Kaori running an arcade
<Jackieness> <Noire> "To be honest, I'm surprised she ahsn't actually done that."
<DeathStar> *Taiga begins to pinpoint the Oddverse* I'll warn you now that there's going to be a few surprises when we go there, so prepare yourselves
<DeathStar> *with that she leaves Aurica to man the gate and hurries in*
<DeathStar> <Ren> ... I don't like this already
<DeathStar> *Ren follows*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *shakes her head and heads through*
<Alicia> * CHarlotte follows
<DeathStar> *The group arrives in the Oddverse, where the PAX is still crashed in the Vatican*
<DeathStar> *making PAX City*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Whoa. Weird
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Well, so far, so good."
<DeathStar> <Ren> The PAX is in pieces all over the place.
<DeathStar> <Ren> And everyone is happy
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Oh. Yeah. We used Centerpoint to fix it if I recall
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But PAX is a bit like a city on Geyze right now. ... And nesting ground for dragons
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, where to?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga leads them along* Alright, let me update you on what my drones told me
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The Illium are not technically called that in this reality but we'll still call them that. The Illium got their name due the future Suisen Empire using that name from the initials or something of the Empresses that would come if I recall
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But due to the Oddverse that name is a little off
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Otherwise it's the same thing. They won the battle and the PAX and the Illium slowly have been intrgrating as well as the other realities, but due to it being an Oddverse it's not as big of a deal here
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "You'll have to fill me in with the names."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I just want to get my hand on some stuff while here. *the group is stopped outside Katrina's cafe, which is on the street now*
<DeathStar> <Katrina> Hello! Would you girls like some food?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Errrrr?"
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I'm calling today's special. Emperor Sushi
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...I suppose we could."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Why not?"
<DeathStar> *Katrina nods and begins to prepare them some food; Megumi is in the back helping*
<DeathStar> *Taiga sits at the counter*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *takes a seat*
<Alicia> * Charlotte does too
<DeathStar> *The two soon begin to serve up some food* <Katrina> You three seem from out of town. <Taiga> I-- <Katrina> Anything we can help you with? *Megumi slides them some drinks along with the food*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well, Taiga?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga shifts* Well, we're looking for your um, leader. <Katrina> The Emperor? You mind telling me what for? He can have quite a temper after recent events
<DeathStar> *Taiga's ears twitch and Megum just stares at them, not making it easy*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Ah, what happened?"
<DeathStar> <Katrina> Well. *She makes some of Noire's favorite dessert* The entire event with the future version of the PAX Federation. *it seems it's not named Suisen here*
<DeathStar> <Katrina> It's complicated, but we're sure we'll figure it out eventually. But there's a lot of trouble going on right now!
<Jackieness> <Noire> "What manner of trouble?"
<DeathStar> <Katrina> *she begins to go into complicated takeover stuff, trying to deal with them due to misguidedness that's turned into corruptiveness over the centuries, trying to maintain their independence. Time ticks on as she rattles* Oh look your food is getting cold
<DeathStar> *She makes new food*
<DeathStar> <Megumi> We should just bomb them
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Hm. 8she whispers to the others8
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Since it's an Oddverse
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It might be safe to tell them more
<DeathStar> *The new food is brought out*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Anyway, it sounds like it's complicated." *eats*
<DeathStar> *it tastes heavenly, too good to be true.*
<DeathStar> <Katrina> Yes. So why did you want to meet him?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *shifts* We're....
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Looking for information because we're in a similiar position. We're hoping we can be allies. *She says slowly*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> If we could look at your PAX computers and maybe one of the enemy's.... it would really help
<DeathStar> *Katrina and Megumi glance at each other*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... well, that is one way to approach this delicately..."
<DeathStar> <Ren> *has cleaned hr plate*
<DeathStar> <Ren> ... Moooooore
<DeathStar> *Ren looks mad with food power*
<DeathStar> <Katrina> I'll um, take you there after I make another plate.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Ren, please."
<DeathStar> <Ren> F-Fine
<DeathStar> *she hangs her head*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...hmmmph."
<DeathStar> *Katrina and Megumi close up shop early*
<DeathStar> <Ren> *Gives Noire a kisso n the cheek* You are still best
<DeathStar> *As they head out, Katrina humming as they walk along the streets toward the main part of the PAX laying there, guarded by Ao and Leyaeh. Ao nods to Katrina* <Ao> Go on in, Empress Katrina. *She waves them all in*
<DeathStar> *As they walk along the bridge* <Katrina> Now, when we meet the Emperor, mind you manner. He is moody lately
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Does the emperor have a name?"
<DeathStar> <Katrina> He's been snacking a lot lately.
<DeathStar> <Katrina> Yes. *they step into 1B* Emperor Erevis. *sitting there is Xanatos, going over reports and looking frustrated*
<DeathStar> *Ren immediately coughs and falls over*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...ah... that's... unexpected."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> Mmmhm. It took me quite some time to ... adjust.
<DeathStar> *She murmurs*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...at least it isn't Dias."
<DeathStar> <Katrina> No, he's President.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Some things don't change, I guess."
<DeathStar> *Taiga murmurs to the group* When Katrina was meant to be taken, Xanatos goofed up the ceremony here and Erevis was put into his body
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...what?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> In this reality, Erevis took over Xanatos.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And Katrina was left to pick up the pieces.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...ohhh..I just bet Erevis loves being Xanatos."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "... sounds like him..."
<DeathStar> *Katrina stans by Xanatos and Megumi by her; Erevistos lifts his head* <Erevistos> Approach.
<DeathStar> *Taiga and Ren do so, with Ren twitching*
<Alicia> * Charlotte approaches, as instructed.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *steps forward*
<DeathStar> <Erevistos> Katrina tells me you are in need of aid. Tell me more. *he shifts a bit and Ren is struggling not to imagine Erevistos walking around nude all the time*
<DeathStar> *after a bit, he grows bored and sends the group back*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "...Taiga?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga looks up from her notes* Ah? Um. Right. *She tries not to look at Erevistos*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "You know the questions."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Noire here is leading our group against an enemy we believe to be similiar to yours. But we are having trouble locating them. We'd like to ally with you, if at all possible, and take a look at your computers and one of theirs to gather data.
<DeathStar> *Erevistos studies them* I apologize if I offend, but you do not seem very strong and our entire fleet and strongest warriors were defeated and left stranded here.
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Don't underestimate us."
<DeathStar> <Erevistos> Hm. You are free to take our data, but if you want their data, you will have to seize it as proof of that power. *he rises and points at Megumi, who goes off and then dumps a device before Taiga, who takes it, along with a map*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...thank you."
<DeathStar> <Erevistos> If you succeed, we will ally with you in the future. <Taiga> Ah? Right.
<DeathStar> *Megumi begins to lead them out of the PAX proper* <Megumi> This way
<DeathStar> *Taiga plugging her datapad into the device*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "I actually feel a little bad about ruining Ren's second meal..."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I'll make her something to compensate."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Thanks Noire."
<DeathStar> <Ren> It's okay. <Megumi> *tilts her head at them as they reach the street; Megumi points at a spot in the distance and Ren eyes the map*
<DeathStar> <Ren> It looks like we need to go somewhere in Mega City
<DeathStar> <Ren> We need a teleporter
<DeathStar> *Taiga finishes downloading the data from their computer and sets it aside* Char or Noire?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... where do we need to go?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> The Presidental Building
<DeathStar> <Taiga> If we do this, that version of Erevis will become our ally and it might be useful down the road.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "That one I know well enough." *raises her hands and works on the ShadowPort*
<DeathStar> *As they shadow port, they arrive at a "Illium"ified building.*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...apparently they are obssessed with Mega City or its counterparts."
<DeathStar> *infact the entire city seems to have been changed*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, if we can just get in and grab one of the computers
<DeathStar> <TAiga> This will allow us to try to find the true Overlords
<Jackieness> <Noire> "So where would they keep one of these computers?"
<DeathStar> *Ren creeps through the front door slowly*
<DeathStar> *where the lobby has computer like terminals being used by some people. The receptionist looks up* How can I help you?
<DeathStar> *Ren rushes and grabs it, turning to run back for the entrance*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I---
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...what?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> I got one, I got one, wait for me!
<Alicia> * Charlotte is about to bluff her way in when Ren does that
<DeathStar> *suddenly, strange beings begin to appear that look almost like Jaime; apparently they're the Illiums; they lack the eye things or anything else that makes them Illium like*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Uh, we got company.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Or this Oddverse's version
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Charlotte, start on the escape portal."
<Alicia> * Charlotte nods, preparing that
<DeathStar> <Ren> What is with evil Jaime's?!
<DeathStar> *As the escape portal opens, Ren and TAiga dive in
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... no comment." *leaps in*
<DeathStar> *The Jaimes firing hyperspace like blasts that blow the area up like atom bombs
<DeathStar> *Taiga and Ren roll roughly*
<DeathStar> *Ren pullins Charlotte to her*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Good job we didn't bring Akatsuki."
<DeathStar> *Erevisitos arrives to fire blasts through the escapehole and being manly, taking out the Jaimes* <Erevisitos> Are you... okay?
<DeathStar> *he reaches down and pulls them up*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "We have a computer."
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Fine... my pride is more hurt than anything."
<DeathStar> <Erevisitos> .. *nods* You should go back to where you came from then. After things quiet and they are no longer riled up, we will talk more about an alliance.
<DeathStar> *Taiga checks the computer over that Ren is clutching*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Right. Taiga?"
