<Dias`> 6Several mid-size freighter's drop out of Hyperspace beside the PAX and take up position to help tractor it. Cartel insignia's on their sides

<Seraphna> Cookie> I don’t think one of us did. It was in her schoolbooks.

<Dias`> 6A fleet of ships begin dropping out of Hyperspace a bit at a distance to the the Illium and begin firing at them
<DeathStar> <Ben> We can only do so much with our cargo
<Seraphna> **The Epsilon appears and Betas begin to pour out, Angela having sent for it as soon as the Strikers got back**
<Xanatos> 6* Pepper comes running onto the bridge and slides up to her console, plopping down.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Getting. Weapons. Ready!
<DeathStar> *Ben watches as the Illium ships' shields take the blasts up above them in space*

<DeathStar> *Iko is sprawled out in her seat, having been spending most of the day clearing up misunderstanding with the Senate and the Suisen and explaining what the Illium threat is*

<Dias`> <Loki> Honestly, and maybe I don't fully speak for the other members, but the Suisen Empire's problems would probably be solved more quickly if they didn't hide so much from the rest of us. Seeing as it tends to spill out and effect so many of us.
<DeathStar> <Iko> Frankly, I don't try to hide anything. *She props her head up* The Illiums were suppose to have been destroyed.
<DeathStar> <Iko> Like I explained.
<DeathStar> <Iko> I don't think Taiga Mizukaze, at least from what I was informed, believed it was them until a month ago.
<Dias`> <Loki> She does seem to have her hands on several things that seem to turn in to threats down the road. Perhaps a secondary council needs to be opened up to keep everyone up to date on potential threats.
<DeathStar> <Iko> *rising up, she walks along beside him* I can't argue that. She finds useful information but seems to find the need to discover the source instead of letting others decide if it's important enough to investigate it
<DeathStar> <Iko> The Senate was originally meant for such things after all
<Jackieness> <Xeres> *from behind them* "With respect to the Cartel representative, and though I am only an attaché to the Asendancy delegation, these threats are hardly wished for by the Suisen. However, many of them are attracted."
<Dias`> <Loki> And let's be frank about this. The Empress and her kin and close friends seem to find themselves constantly in the center of things that more or less affect everyone.
<Dias`> <Loki> Oh I don't mean to put blame on them. Just to point out that a lot of times their actions tend to affect us. And it's usually afterwards we hear about it or here rumors.
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "Would the Cartel representative suggest that the balance of power shift in favor of the Senate?"
<Dias`> <Loki> I even heard rumors that supposedly the Suisen Empire had a fleet of PAX's briefly. *He laughs a bit at that*
<DeathStar> <Iko> That is a point. The Senate, from what I gather, moved away from deciding on galactic matters and sending fleets after a few of the members came to falling outs many many decades ago and they never went back to that duty
<DeathStar> <Iko> I suppos it could be returned to such matters
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "If we are not addressing the day to day of Galactic affairs, then what purpose does this Senate serve?"
<Dias`> <Loki> Well regardless, the Cartel have no problems helping deal with this Illium problem. Working together is the only way for us to ensure we have a place in the future.
<DeathStar> <Iko> We do meet on trade, border dispute, but it has been some time before we had a unified military presense together and discussed military action outside the Dark One War, which was a one off incident
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "And what fo the Tsivirxsh? Or the humans? And the minor worlds?"

<Dias`> <Loki> I've sent messages to their respective leaders letting them know what's going on and asking for them to assist. So we'll see what happens their.

<Seraphna> Alita> It is odd that we have not seen Fate during this.

<DeathStar> *the comm crackles as they fly through space; an Illium ship, much larger than their Mew Mew, moves in behind them*
<Seraphna> Alita> The tree is being stolen. I believe this would upset upper management.

<Dias`> <Id> I do not think the "upper" management cares where the tree rests. As long as the branch isn't tainted and poisions the well.
<DeathStar> *The two spirits glow and they begin to zoom faster*
<DeathStar> <Selena> That's depressing
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Maybe Fate was kidnapped by the bad guys."
<Xanatos> <Logan> Does this thing have mines or weapons? That ship on us if big.

<DeathStar> *The Mew shaking from attacks*
<Xanatos> 6* Logan starts working on getting targeting vectors and then starts firing back.
<Xanatos> <Simon> I'm not certain any of my magik would cause harm to this ship. Alita do you have a black hole up your sleeve?
<DeathStar> *their attacks hit the massive ship's shields as they near the faded tree; the ship fires back blows up the back of the ship, causing them to spin. Thankfully, a Cartel ship arrives to drive the Illium back*
<Seraphna> **Alita makes a sign, summoning a void well behind them to slowly grow and spin toward the ship**
<DeathStar> *the void well does damage to both ships as they spin out of control in space, air being sucked out*
<Jackieness> <Lana> We have a breach!"
<DeathStar> <Selena> What is going on1?
<DeathStar> *she holds on for dear life*
<Dias`> *Alita would feel the dread of an upcoming bill*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon frowns and grabs a suit, moving toward the back to try to ice over the damage.
<DeathStar> *The ice helps stablize them a bit as Cypher aims for the tree, aiming for a branch* Hold on!
<Seraphna> **Alita smiles at that and gowns a shield of spirit behind them, whipping up air to help**
<Seraphna> **Talia mewls and creates a mana barrier around the shuttle**
<DeathStar> *The Mew Mew hits the massie branch and they begin tobounce along, sliding along toward the edge, balancing - dangerously. One wrong move and it will fall all the way down*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...Simon...can you ice the ship to the branch...?"
<Xanatos> 6* Simon frowns and nods, attempting to do so.
<Xanatos> <Logan> Got any rope? We could try to pull it closer to safety.
<DeathStar> *Cypher hands some off as they get iced*
<Dias`> <Id> Pull the ship to safety? I am intrigued and this.
<DeathStar> *Kito looks worried, making cat sounds*
<Xanatos> 6* Logan whistles to himself and moves to climb on top of the ship, and start securing mooring lines.

<DeathStar> *Kito crawls out slowly, and then leaps onto the branch*

<Xanatos> 6* Logan starts tossing the ropes out towards Kito.

<Xanatos> 6* Simon steps out, peering at the rope for a moment before picking one up.

<Seraphna> **Talia cat climbs up a rope and then goes human to help pull with her rediculous strength**

<Jackieness> <Lana> *climbs out* "...wait...I have something to help." *weaves the mini-mech construct that she had used to excavate the sealing cave and pulls*

<Dias`> <Id> Luckily it would end up in space...Hopefully.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, we might be pulled across too... but being on their home territory might not be all that great."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon pulls out a snack and begins to eat on it.

<Xanatos> 6* Logan pulls out his pistol and squints then around before shifting to follow the group. Simon thanks Id and begins to follow the others.

<DeathStar> *she is watching the Illiums being tied up with their respective fleets and the Betas are shielding things quite decently*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan is looking over their energy readings to see how much of a help they can be in this fight.

<DeathStar> *they protect everyonem, as Mireille - who is in her little spirit chamber, makes a noise and it smokes. Systems spark and lights flicker. The shields dropping to dangerous levels*

<Seraphna> **Cookie nods and her eyes glow, using Ace of Spades to shift the ship to the least fatal positioning**
<DeathStar> *As they break the tube open, Mirielle is unconscious, smoking and with damage, as if she routed system damage through her*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Dammit we--- *Suddenly, the system goes into emergency mode as if something was shut down or damaged* <Ben> .. that should not have happened. *he begins to look into it* ... a critical system was just destroyed in engineering. I believe manually
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Pepper, do what you can for Mireile. Cookie, Ben, we are without a ship spirit right now. Also do wha you can."
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Ben, seal engineering and cut off life support in that section."
<Xanatos> 6* Pepper frowns and moves to grab a medkit, doing what she can.

<Jackieness> <Airym> "The saboteur."
<DeathStar> *Ben nods and complies, then hands Airym a shot*

<DeathStar> <Yuki> At least we got them isolated. And protected the other ships
<Seraphna> **Since they can’t block anymore, Cookie uses auxiliary systems to start moving them away as several Betas move in to shield the disabled ship**
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Come'on kiddo, wake up. 6* She scans her again to see if any of the stim shots are doinmg anything.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Ben, scan engineering. Check any life signs or anomalies."
<DeathStar> *Mireille opens one eye while Ben scans* <Ben> It seems as if everything is back to normal
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Any chance we might be dealing with a teleporter?"

<DeathStar> <Lenneth> We're almost to the atmosphere, no casualities to the ships pulling us up, but it looks like the Aquarius is pulling off
