Ren right now is running laps in the gym area, pushing herself, instead of being in the Fumoffu club room for once*

<DeathStar> *a screen appears showing the gym and Ren pausing to take in air and guzzle water*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan lazily shakes a pom pom** Rah.

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Either way, the prognosis clearly affected Ren."

<Seraphna> Si> ...The thing that I don't understand is why do we need lungs if we don't have to breathe?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> You seem to think just because we're part dragoon we don't need to breathe. *props head*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ren does need to breathe."
<Seraphna> Si> Wait, we need to breathe?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yes. The further away from the original dragoons, the less that ability is a factor. If she goes into mech mode, then it definitely kicks in
<Seraphna> Si> Oh, so I still survive in vacuum and boys locker rooms because Mom is a full Dragoon.

<DeathStar> *Ren arrives at that moment, eyeing them all*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I see." looks over at Ren* "Ah, there you are, Ren."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Sorry I'm late. *She takes a seat*
<DeathStar> *Taiga puts her schematics away*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Oh no, Ren. The conversation has been sparkling."
<Seraphna> **Kaelan slides out of her shadow with Su and takes a seat**
<Seraphna> Si> Noire learned I'm both your step-mom and step-dad.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So has the club have any agenda today? <Ren> Not really. It's been a bit hectic really. What with three pillars of the empire gone.
<DeathStar> *Ren's ear twitches*
<Seraphna> **Jaime appears, probably with someone, looking to duck out of work for a bit**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "To be fair, Erevis had been trying to extricate herself from the affairs of the Empire for a long time."
<DeathStar> *Gnome hangs off Jaime like a toy*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yeah and she knew what she was doing. **she sits and puts Gnome in her lap**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And what about you, Jaime? How have you been handling the burden?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Yeah. One of your two head researchers are gone. Your advisor is gone. And your fleet captain is gone
<Seraphna> Jaime> Fine I guess. I have an adorable support network. **she hugs Gnome**

<Seraphna> Jaime> Sugar has been doing Momma Megumi's work so long she's long overdue to succeed the position. And I can probably get Wade or Jamie to take over the fleet captain job.

<Seraphna> **Kaelan drops a note into her tails to inform the clan**

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Lets see... *she seems to be pre-progamming a set of variables* This will have the gate target certain realities based on the parimeters that I want
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm.... and you know what we are dealing with then?"
<Seraphna> Si> Are any of those parameters a reality full of snacks?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Certainly! *she beams as the gate opens* Lets see what our first reality will be
<DeathStar> *Ren stands up* <Ren> Everyone ready? *She makes sure her striker uniform is on tightly and checks her wristwatch for emergency return*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Well then, let's get to it." *heads toward the gate*
<Seraphna> **Jaime grabs something to put on her belt of the uniform and then goes through with Gnome**
<Seraphna> **Kaelan nods and slips through the gate**
<DeathStar> *Taiga hops down and steps through. The group finds themselves in Reality 112. The team comes out in what looks to be a beautiful beach*
<Seraphna> **Si follow Taiga**
<DeathStar> *Taiga scans with the wrist watch, getting info on the reality*
<DeathStar> *down further from the beach, however, looks to be glittering sights of what looks to be some sort of structures*
<DeathStar> *that light up - even in the night sky*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... anything about this reality, Taiga?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> This is a reality where the Dark Ones and the Cartel have advanced rapidly with their resort planet, leading to the Dark Ones having reclaimed almost all of the planet for their people under Bobbi.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I want to grab some scans and other stuff here before moving on
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I wonder if they have any idea I could...mmmm...borrow."
<DeathStar> *Taiga brings out a hoverboard and hops on it*
<DeathStar> *Ren brings out her own*
<DeathStar> *Gnome just gets on Jaime's back*
<DeathStar> <Sudako> .... Hm
<DeathStar> *peers out from Kaelan's shadows*
<DeathStar> *Taiga flies toward the city lights*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *heads toward the city, having conjured up a floating dark matter disc to ride on*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan does something and flies by them as a sparkling moon-fox**
<Seraphna> **Jaime ground skates after them using Earth power**
<DeathStar> *The city itself seems to now serve two fold; the resort area for the tourists and the income they bring in, and now a proper Dark One city structure that spreads on the other side away from the resort area, rising up almost up into the sky. The city is infused with heavy dark energy, especially in various areas, which seems odd but as Taiga and the group get closer it seems the city is divided up - not so much a class system or a poor/rich system, but it definitely is divided up by some sort of system and that is what has led to certain areas having more dark power flowing. Large ships can be seen in the port, and one can feel them being alive, waiting for a pilot*
<DeathStar> *Taiga seems to be musing on what she is here for, looking around*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Mmm, if this is how things will work out I won't mind visiting the family more often. So gorgeously dark~
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Oh, stop preening, Kaelan."

<Seraphna> Jaime> I'm suddenly glad I'm no longer a psion with those around.
<DeathStar> *As Taiga takes them in closer, it appears the areas of the city that have the high dark energy have the more luxury houses, the towers rising high. Taiga lands on top of one and peers into the open window, before sliding into one. The Dark One's place that she picked has tones of tomes much like Andrea likes to keep around, as well as other stuff - it almost reminds one of a student's room in their parent's place with how much tomes there are.* <Taiga> After I skim through a few of these, I'll stop by the shipyard. *Taiga grabs the tomes and begins to flip through them, her datapad trying to translate them*
<DeathStar> <Sudako> I'm shocked there are so many tomes around now
<Jackieness> <Noire> *enters and looks at some of the tomes herself*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> The Suisen Empire must have focused on expansion into the other galaxy here. There must be tons of worlds there with artifacts left behind.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Remember the pens on that Dark World, Su~?
<DeathStar> *a good number of them medical based and healing based, surprisingly - though they do have the typical eye for an eye type deal for the higher level spells that can do massive heal restoration. Other tomes are more in line with what Noire knows, the destructive tomes, but those are fewer now*
<DeathStar> <Sudako> Huh
<DeathStar> *Taiga copies a few of the tomes into her datapad*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...odd...healing magic. Not typical of th tomes I have used at home."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Mmm, yes... this does seem less like the last wave's works. Perhaps older Dark Ones?
<Seraphna> **Kaelan looks through one curiously**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "This reality clearly followed a different path. Just whose house are we in, Taiga?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Why would Dark Ones have healing magic? <Taiga> Oh they have it, it's just that typically you don't find many that are willing to use them
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It involves dark magic damage on oneself for another according to what I was able to get out of Andrea
<Seraphna> Kaelan> That does sound more like us. **She giggles**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm... that fits. Its similar to how we healed mother.. trade some life force to her."
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses over the tomes** To think we're heading to a future where Progenitors and Dark Ones live in harmony instead of as opposition.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Right. I think she probably has a tome or two herself, but she wouldn't hand it over. *she looks grim* Anyway, this reality seems to chart ahead in time. We're looking at a possible future reality
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ahhhhh... I see." *looks around some more*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Of all the Dark Ones joinning Bobbi - the only catch being that they did it much earlier
<DeathStar> *Taiga studies the history files* I think the Suisen likely made efforts to bring them in
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm..." *looks through one of the healing tomes*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Take it. This is a house of just a random student.
<DeathStar> *Taiga moves to go* Lets head down to the shipping docks
<DeathStar> *Ren hmmms, seeing if that is true*
<DeathStar> *Ren blinks at a name on one of the books*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *closes the book* "I suppose we are stealing things, after all."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well if it was me, I would. I now have several dark one friends. **She smiles at Noire**
<DeathStar> *Ren looks at Taiga already headed for the shipping yard, then turns to Noire, handing her the tome with the name on it*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks at the name on the tome*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...interesting." *packs up bth books and then leaves after Taiga*
<DeathStar> <Ren> It's weird, right?
<DeathStar> *She hurries after them*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> WHat's weird?
<DeathStar> *Ren hoverboards after Taiga, who seems to be ignoring the built ships and is instead at a terminal*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "*follows after Taiga*
<DeathStar> *Taiga taps a few buttons and then hops off the board; a guard is moving around, protecting the place, holding a scythe*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And this place, Taiga?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Hm. I want to get a sample of the ships. Consider this place like a facility where they have the ships "eggs data" almost. I want to take one
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So I can study it and go from there
<DeathStar> *Taiga eyes chamber behind the guard*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I know how to grow them~ **She smiles**

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Ahhhh... you need a dark seed sample."

<DeathStar> *Taiga stealth moves past the guard; a moment later Taiga returns with something in a glass container*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Okay, I think that's everything I need here. Lets move on
<DeathStar> *Taiga begins to tap her watch to program the next reality*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm...where to next then?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It'll be random again
<DeathStar> *the gate opens; at that exact moment, a dark hand grabs Ren's leg and begins to pull her toward them*
<DeathStar> <Guard> Intruder
<DeathStar> <Ren> Ack!
<Jackieness> <Noire> *turns and then uses Dark Absorption on the guard*
<DeathStar> <Guard> .. *looks surprised*
<DeathStar> *Taiga picks Ren up and hurries through the gatE*
<DeathStar> *Gnome shoots out mud*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Everyone, go."
<DeathStar> *The Guard struggles with the mud for a moment then begins to move forward again, reaching for Gnome on Jaime's back*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *shakes her head and uses her tendrils to try tossing the rest of the team through the portal*

<DeathStar> *The group appears in a strange mixture of a Dark One City, along with what sort of appears to be Risokyo*
<DeathStar> *Taiga eyes the reality number, squinting*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm...where are we this time, Taiga?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> You saved that guard's life just now.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well. There's conflicting information
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, it looks like I let Jikuu do all the decorating.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Its listing this as Reality 105 and as an Oddverse
<Seraphna> Si> Ooo, maybe the new time branches allow for both! Or two merged?
<DeathStar> *Ren studies the weird Risokyo* It's just unnerving me
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks at Taiga* "Does Si's theory hold water?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Maybe. I need more information. Either way, the parameters I entered have led us here. So I need to look around
<Seraphna> Jaime> Really? It seems fine to me. Maybe it's because the family has had a strong Dark element leaning despite our Progenitor heritage.
<DeathStar> *Taiga points ahead at what looks to be a Dark One structure, rising up into the sky * That is the palace

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Perhaps the Dark Ones won the war..."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Maybe. Kyo might have done something.
<DeathStar> *Taiga heads along; Noire would sense Dark Ones watching them from the shadows*

<Seraphna> **Kaelan winks at the shadows and shows a fangy smile**
<DeathStar> *As they enter the palace, sitting on the throne of all people, is Noire, beside her is Jikuu; the other Noire, showing wounds on herself, studies them, while Jikuu looks more timid*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Holy plot twist, you rule?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks to the side* "...I may keep a dream journal where I became empress."
<DeathStar> *The other Noire hahs, eyeing her with a powerful gaze* Sitting on this broken throne is not all you wished it to be. ... Time travel? An alternate me? ... *She sounds annoyed already, but doesn't say her catchphrase*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks back over* "I never acted upon such impulses." *adjusts her glasses up with a finger* "So what happened to you then?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> **sighs** Is Jikuu this easy to bully in every reality?
<DeathStar> *Jikuu stands up* Excuse you?
<DeathStar> <Empress Noire> When our people ... *She doesn't say which* fell in the final attack, I realized I could keep slaughtering or do what I could to save what remained. And so I united what few survived and became Empress and made a new empire of both the Suisen and the Dark Ones. So what brings you here? *Taiga stands up* <Taiga> I'm here to learn about healing magics and ressurection magics. *looks at Noire* I don't know about them
<Seraphna> **Jaime brightens up** Oh, you have got spirit! Good.
<DeathStar> *Jikuu stomps foot, eyeing Jaime*
<DeathStar> *then sits back down*
<Seraphna> **Jaime smiles** You are still fun to tease though.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...and so here we are."
<DeathStar> <Empress Noire> I do not mind - Jikuu, teach them what they want to know. *she turns her gaze back to her counter part. Jikuu twitches, then stands and hops down to join them* <Jikuu> This way. *She motions deeper into the dark city*
<Seraphna> **Jaime walks along, looking over Jikuu** So... did you get hitched to Noire or are you just co-Empress?
<DeathStar> <Jikuu> I just serve as a Co-Empress
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...Jaime, I have never had an interest in romantic entanglements."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Ah, did you find a partner at least? **She wiggles Gnome**

<Seraphna> Kaelan> Mmm, I think even you'd do a strategic marriage though if it was practical.

<Seraphna> **Jaime nods, seeming to have affection even for an alternate Jikuu**

<DeathStar> *Jikuu begins to lead them away*
<DeathStar> *Taking them toward a strange area of the palace where the temp. feels cooler and not a lot of people are around anymore*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *looks around*
<Seraphna> Jaime> This is interesting. Where are we?
<DeathStar> <Gnome> ... *Clings to back of Jaime more while Sudako sinks into shadow; as they arrive in what looks to be a science department, they find a ton of Dark Ones. But there is something odd. Jaime would sense one Dark One that has the same mind as her mother. Another two Dark One, Noire senses is very similiar as Ren and Charlott
<Seraphna> Jaime> THey've all... been converted?
<DeathStar> <Jikuu> Converted? No. They were all killed in the war
<DeathStar> <Jikuu> They were all ressurected into new bodies
<Seraphna> **Jaime blinks, then nods** I see... using Dark One soul engines I am guessing?
<DeathStar> <Jikuu> some did not take it well
<Seraphna> Kaelan> It's not for everyone. Direct conversion seems nicer though to be honest. And I say that from experience.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...let's just go about our business."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Ah, so the ressurection/being reborn put them in a Dark One body. <Jikuu> To bring back that many, it did require a sacrifice, so whenever someone rejected it, they were used as a sacrifice
<DeathStar> *Taiga rubs her face* No, this is not a viable option.
<DeathStar> *Taiga turns to look at the others* You ready to move on?

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Do enlighten me, Taiga..."
